Stormy shrugged. "It's mainly Psilotus giving them the one-up. Mercurius is fast, but he's no attacker, and a Primigenius can easily get picked off by the right technique. Psilotus is carrying them. Their job is to keep the others from getting to him." And they was when Faugnar just grabbed the little monster, yanking him by the neck from the baby harness and sending him flying across the arena with a terrified squeak.

Cally gasped as she saw that, “well that changes things.” She said as she watched the monster land, wincing a little for it. Crissandre snickered a little, but stayed quiet.

Psilotus crumpled to the ground, unconscious. Mercurius was thrown next, sailing through the air and crashing into the Primigenius' face. Remiel had gotten up, sliding under her and cutting a hindleg with his sword. Fatid heaved again and she finally fell over.

Cally practically leaped in the air as she cheered for her friends. “That’s my friends! I know them!” She exclaimed. She ignored some of the looks she got. Crissandre giggled at her excitement, “Don’t hurt yourself.”

Stormy giggled at Cally. "They still have to win a few more battles." With the Primigenius going down and the team claiming victory, Fatid grunted and actually proceeded to heal the mammoth so she could get up properly. The larger creature collected her friends and the teams left the arena to make way for the next two.
Thalassa hummed as the battle ended. "Quite something, but it is to be expected from a lot like that, and this was just for fun." Monsters here were fighting for rewards. It was quite different when fighting for something like their lives.

Cally blushed a little with embarrassment, “I’m still proud of them.” She giggled, “what do you not like my cheering?” She teased.
Necromancer nodded, “the losers put up a good fight nonetheless. Well, the Psilotus at least.” He said.

Stormy smiled widely. "Hey, I was cheering a lot when my friend was on. Hey, how about the three of us go check in on them or something? It'll be a while before your friends are up again at least."
Thalassa nodded, and Babari said "Well, I'm looking forward to the winning team again. It's been a while since I've seen Remiel fight." He then huffed, saying "This almost makes me jealous for not joining."

Cally nodded, “yeah let’s. I didn’t know we could do that.” She said. She seemed very happy at the thought of being able to see them.
“You should have. It would have been a good show.” Necromancer said simply, “though it wouldn’t be too fair for the opposing teams now would it?”

Stormy shrugged. "Oh, I have no idea honestly, but I don't see why not. You get to see your boyfriend at least." She then looked to Criss. "You coming?"
Thalassa chuckled, and Babari said "You're right, but it really just depends. Not that you'll find strong contenders for us here though most likely. At least not ones who are working together."

“Oh, well then let’s at least try. I would love to see Remiel and Fatid.” She looked to Stormy, “and we can talk to your friend as well.” She then looked as Crissandre sighed and stood, “I don’t see why not.”
Necromancer nodded, “maybe one day there will be monsters who can actually put up a decent fight against you.” He said, not taking his eyes off the next battle that was taking place.

Stormy was already getting up, the gray Skipples leading the way to where she knew the competitors were staying. Luckily they were allowed in, and she looked around for their friends.
Babari laughed. "There are probably plenty, especially earth element monsters. And the titans are also no small matter." Literally. All three of them could reach a maximum height of thirty thousand feet and could literally just step on or smack them if they wanted to. Thalassa snorted. "You name such petty creatures when there's still Uriel to discuss."

Cally followed in after them. When she saw Fatid and Remiel her face brightened a little, “Fatid! Remiel!” She called happily. Criss just followed behind them, watching the two that Cally was calling to.
“This is only if any of them will actually be participating a tournament any time soon, which most probably aren’t.” But hen how would Necromancer know? He usually didn’t attend tournaments lately.

Remiel, Fatid and Faugnar were all talking when they showed up. Remiel brightened up when he saw Cally. "Hey!" Fatid studied her and the other two, questioning "What's with the Skipples?" He already knew of Crissandre though.
Thalassa hummed. "Monsters like them don't really do tournaments because it's really just child's play to them, though I believe there would probably be a size limit for the titans at least. Stepping on people can end fights rather quickly."

Cally looked back before saying, “oh, she’s my new friend. We’ve been talking throughout the tournament.” She explained, “her name is Stormy. And this is Crissandre.” She said while gesturing towards them. Crissandre looked to Fatid with a small nod and a smile as Cally went to hug Remiel.
“Yes. And they can also cause many other unnecessary causalities in the process.” Necromancer added.

Stormy sheepishly waved at them before seeing her friend curled up and talking with others. She briefly left to go say hi while Fatid studied Crissandre, humming before turning to watch as Remiel hugged Cally back.
Thalassa shrugged. "That's why one of them is in the Chaos Fortress." A prison in the middle of the western oceans, home of some of the most dangerous monsters. "Though Igursus and Ouros are rather tame, so we don't really worry about or bother them."

Criss raised an eyebrow before saying, “I saw you and Remiel fighting. You two make a good pair.” She said simply while crossing her arms.’
Necromancer nodded, “honestly you could also just join a tournament like this and reap the benefits that will come from your inevitable win.”

Fatid grunted. "Thanks, though there's still a few fights to get through." He narrowed his sockets a little. "Why is a Battlemage here though? Trouble somewhere?"
Thalassa laughed. "You go have fun with that for the both of us. I have all the riches and spoils I want. The only thing I don't have is a man, though I suppose I could join just for the fun of it."

Criss nodded, “no, fortunately. I’m just trying to have a relaxing time for once.” And she couldn’t really do that all too often. She then gestured to Cally, “you have quite the friend here.” She said.
Necromancer shrugged, “maybe winning a few tournaments will also help you attract and meat a few suitors.” He suggested.

Fatid nodded a little. "I see, but be careful. People are wary of Battlemages." As they usually didn't show up to such public places for fun. When speaking of Cally, he huffed. "She's a good friend, but I think she's drifting toward Remiel." He glared as he heard the angel snicker.
Thalassa nodded a little at that, rolling her eyes as Hydrok huffed "The queen does not need to be dealing with the attention of city scrappers. Or gold-diggers." Hydratila nodded in agreement, saying "Her Majesty probably shouldn't even be going to the party after. The only saving grace is that it's hosted by Galante and his wife."

Cally giggled a little and went over to gently hug his arm saying, “aw, come on, Fatid. You’re still one of my best friends.” She said. Crissandre laughed a little, “she was talking very highly of you both.” She said, “and I can see why.”
“I’m sorry, last time I checked it wasn’t either of yours right to dictate what her majesty can and can’t do.” Necromancer suddenly snapped, “if she wants to marry someone lower down on the tiers or go to a party then that is good for her!”

Fatid smiled a little at them both. "Well, hopefully we make it to the top end of the roster by the end of the tournament. It wouldn't hurt to in the winner's circle again." Remiel and Faugnar nodded in agreement.
Hydratila growled at Necromancer, but immediately went quiet with a glare from Thalassa. "They're just looking out for me," she sighed. "Though I doubt every time I'm out in public will be dangerous. And not everyone is a gold-digger." She smiled a little at Necromancer. "It's their job to follow me around basically, and I'm pretty sure they scare everyone off at some point when I'm not looking." They had good hearts, but she would probably need to talk with them soon.

“I’m sure you’ll at least get close.” Cally told them, “you looked good as a team out there already.” She commented. Necromancer nodded in agreement before looking to Fatid with a joking looks “just try to fight for your own team this time.” She teased.
Necromancer huffed, “Don’t they ever get on your nerves?” He asked Thalassa. He knew if they were his bodyguards he would get frustrated with them acting this way.

Fatid grunted at Criss, and Remiel said "Well then, we still have some time before our next battle, but at least we're still able to compete. You never know what sort of team we'll be facing." Well, there was a list, but no one knew who they were fighting until right before.
Thalassa chuckled. "Sometimes, but they're with me for a reason. Especially Hydrok. I don't have eyes every angle, so he keeps me safe." The masked guard just stared at Necromancer before looking as the next two teams came out.

“Well then rest up.” Cally said, “do you want me to get you guys anything before going out again?” She asked them curiously.
Necromancer nodded, but didn’t even look towards the two. He just looked from Thalassa back to the battlefield. He watched on quietly for a while after that.

Fatid shook his head, and Remiel said "I think we're good for now. Just make sure to keep cheering us on, hm?" The angel smiled at Cally, and Fatid cast Crissandre another glance.
Thalassa and Babari just watched the battle. There were some good teams, and they were curious to see who would be the victor.

Cally smiled and nodded, “will do.” She said. “Good luck.” Criss said as well, meeting Fatid’s gaze with a small smile, she then looked him up and down for a very brief seconds before tuning with Cally.
“There is some talent here I must say.” Necromancer said as another fight finished, “these teams work well together. They aren’t making complete fools out of themselves.”

Fatid narrowed his sockets in confusion before turning away to his group.
Thalassa nodded in agreement, and Babari said "It's probably because of us. They want to show off, though I'm not too sure why. Maybe they expect us to take them home or something." He snorted at that.

Criss and Cally talked with Stormy as they went to return to their seats.
“That or they could just want to impress us. Or maybe they really just want to go to the party.” Necromancer pointed out as he watched, “either way it’s good entertainment.”

Stormy walked with them back to their spots. "So, did you give a pep talk or whatever? Ooh, maybe if our friends progress they'll end up fighting each other."
Babari snorted. "I doubt they want to impress us for the sake of just that. There's usually some motive or other." He watched as the current battle progressed.

Cally nodded, “Yeah maybe. That would interesting to see.” She said as they reached their spots. She then looked back towards the battle.
Necromancer shrugged, “it could also be for the prize at the end.” He said, “I mean, they should know better than to think that we aren’t won over that easily, right?”
