Cally smiled as they approached her, “you guys did so good!” She said happily to the both of them. She then gestured towards the door, “you guys deserve something. Let me take you out to dinner. My treat.” She offered.

Fatid tilted his head curiously, and Remiel blinked before saying "Oh, well if you're sure. You really don't have to though." Fatid just bluntly said he was alright with it, ignoring Remiel's look.

Cally shrugged, “it’s no big deal.” She smiled a little in amusement to Fatid before going to walk towards the entrance of the training arena. She looked back to Remiel and held her hand out for him to take.

Remiel smiled before taking Cally's hand and walking with her to where most of the restaurants were. Fatid walked behind them as he looked around at the other monsters.

((Btw when should Fatid’s partner come in? I was thinking maybe after the tournament? But if you want it to happen sooner I’m down for that too.
Once they settled to a restaurant, Cally and the others were led to a hightop table so Cally could sit while the others could stand if needed.

The next day, everyone was showing up at the largest arena in Crystalline. All types of monsters and even some humans were there. Plenty of important monsters too, like Galante and his family who were funding the tournament of course. No other tournaments would have such great rewards.

Cally was waiting with Fatid and Remiel until they had to finally separate. She wished the two luck and said that she would cheer for them before going to find her spot in the crowd.

It would be a little while before the first fight began, as the hosts refused to start without the Warmasters being there. So the crowd got to talk amongst themselves. Luckily there weren't any dogs nearby though, Al and Carlo sitting with Galante on the other end of the arena.

Cally began to talk with two monsters beside her as she waited. They ended up talking for quite some time as they waited for something to happen. Cally was just glad that they didn’t seem like they minded her presence or wanted her just as a pet or slave.

Monsters then started pointing somewhere, toward where one of the viewing boxes were in the arena. It was a big one, and the first creature there was a dwarf. Grayish skin, with a bright yellow mane of hair for both the head and face. Stocky, with an entourage of three other Lightning monsters. Being the first there, he simply went to take a seat, resting his chin in his hand.

Only a moment after, there was another monster entering. It was Necromancer, though his entrance was brief. The Warmaster simply just entered and sat in his spot, leaning back to one side of the seat as he looked down below. He didn’t say a word, just focusing on the monsters below. He wasn’t a planned appearance, but rather just a spur of the moment surprise guest.

One of the monsters sitting by Cally, a stocky gray Skipples with darker gray swirls, asked "So, are you here to watch anyone? I have a friend competing in the tournament!" She smiled widely before looking over as the first two Warmasters appeared, watching curiously.
Babari didn't even cast Necromancer a second glance. "And to think you spend the rest of your days in Vlad's basement." He casually looked around at the crowds as they waited. "Got bored of playing with dead people today?"

Cally nodded happily before saying, “yes, actually. My friends Fatid and Remiel are participating today.” She said after Necromancer entered, “I’m very excited to see them in action.” She then looked to the Skipples, “what about your friend? What monster is he?” She asked.
Necromancer chuckled a little light heartedly, “believe it or not I actually like to come and see the light of day every once and while.” He joked quietly. He kept his gaze towards the battlefield.

The Skipples listened curiously. "Oh, wow. You're friends with big people then. Aya is an Ao Loong, but I'm not sure when her cell is coming out." She then blinked as a third Warmaster showed up. A little on the stocky side, tentacles carrying her into view with the other two, weapon at her side along with two important-looking monsters as well.
Babari snorted. "I do find it hard to believe sometimes. You seriously need a girlfriend. Or boyfriend, whatever it is you're into." He then looked over as Thalassa showed up, the queen having her bodyguard Hydrok and royal adviser Hydratila at her side. She was technically the one with the most authority due to actually being a queen.

Cally nodded, feeling proud. She then shrugged, “maybe they’ll go against one another.” She suggested. She then looked up as the Warmaster showed up, then to the side as she saw as a monster sat down on the other side of her. She was keeping on the down low, not saying much as she looked towards the battlefield. It was Crissandre (thought she was dope. I can choose another though if you’d like.).

Necromancer scoffed before hesitating, “either or.” He said quietly. He then looked over as Thalassa showed up. He smiled a little in an awkward greeting before looking back to the crowd. He wasn’t the best as socializing and often preferred being by himself rather than mingling with others. Once the other person or monster made the first move though he was a really good guy.

The Skipples smiled widely. "Maybe they will, but I doubt even an Ao Loong will do well against Legendaries. Maybe she's grouped up with some though." The then looked toward Crissandre showing up. Blinking once, she said "All the important monsters are just showing up today, aren't they?"
Babari chuckled. "You should come visit. Have a pint or two. Get out more." He then rolled his eyes as Thalassa said "Hush. He doesn't need advice from someone who's mate dumped him." That shut the dwarf up, and the queen took a seat aside from Necromancer, her guard and adviser standing off to the side.

Cally looked over before nodding, “yeah, guess so. And to think this tournament was originally supposed to be one with lower tiers of monsters.” That’s when Crissandre looked over, acknowledging them. She then decided to make small talk saying, “I’ve actually been here a few days. I’ve just decided to keep to myself.” She gestured to the battlefield, “why are you both here? For fun or do you have people contending?”
Necromancer laughed before looking to Thalassa with thanks. He then looked back over towards the other, “I’ll go out with you. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to be looking for any mates.” He would choose his very carefully.

Stormy nodded in agreement with Cally before looking toward Crissandre. "Oh? Well I'm surprised you didn't end up there with Galante at least. I'm sure he would've let you sit with other big dogs." Battlemages were pretty, well, famous. And old, but they apparently age well. She then said "Yeah, we both have people contending. She has two Legend tier friends though."
Thalassa hummed as Necromancer agreed to visit Babari's home. The dwarf laughed, running a hand through his hair as he said "You should be wary though. Ever since any of us were chosen as Warmaster by Uriel, tons of suitors have tried to get in good with us. Well, with me anyway!" Thalassa snorted at that, saying "Men."

Crissandre scoffed, “I know.” She said simply, “for once I want to try to at least blend in a little. Sitting up there is a great honor but sometimes the attention is a little overwhelming. Besides, if I were up there I wouldn’t be able to talk to people like you.” She then looked to Cally with surprise, “do you now? Who are they?” Cally responding with, “Fatid and Remiel.” At this Crissandre seemed suddenly intrigued, nodding slowly, “I see.. well I will be looking forward to seeing them in action.”
Necromancer looked to Thalassa with a scoff. He then smiled a little jokingly, “you should come with us, Thalassa. Join the fun.” He teased.

Stormy then looked forward as Galante stepped up, thanking everyone for coming as well as introducing the Warmasters. As the first two teams came out, she said to Cally "Maybe I'll see you two at the party that's being held after by Galante. For the top placing teams." She doubted Crissandre would have trouble being let in though. Thalassa huffed. "I'm a queen, and queens don't go to parties hosted by ruffians!" Babari scoffed and said "But they come to events to watch monsters beat each other senseless?" Thalassa tsked and just turned to watch as the first match started. (This is Galante btw, purple fancy birb thing xD) |

Crissandre just looked ahead again after giving a slight nod. Calmly shrugged a little, “let’s just hope my friends hold their own. I’m sure they’d love to go.” She said before looking to the Galante.
Necromancer chuckled and gave her a pleading look, “come on. It’s normally not my area either... but I’m going. Just give it a chance. Maybe you’ll like it.” He said while giving her a small reassuring smile.
