“I’d like that.” Hakan said happily. “And maybe in return we could teach you how to ride our mounts. They are feisty.” The soldier said. Hakan smiled a little before patting the Soldier’s chest as he looked to Tse-Tse, “Makya here is probably the best teacher out of the whole guard.”

Tse-Tse studied Makya. "Then perhaps he can learn to ride wargs." Anyone who knew what they were doing, Makya in this case, would at least know where to start with any mount. Though species did mean outcomes varied, she supposed. "The three I plan to bring, along with myself, will be a little wary at first but I am sure we can exchange knowledge and the like easily with time."

“I can sure try.” Makya said softly, “I can’t go right to trying to ride one, but with some observing of others I’m sure I can learn very fast.” He said, smiling a little. “So? What is there to do here in town?” Hakan asked curiously.

Tse-Tse thought for a moment. "Well, since this place is considerably smaller than the main hub of the mountains, there isn't as much to do." Though that seemed like an overstatement, given how busy things looked. "There's the arena, practice sparring, visiting the shrines, etc. Ah, the Mtoaji is also passing through, probably having a show tonight as well as viewing hours for the animals. He and his apprentice have a bunch of animals they train for entertainment. I'm surprised the animals do anything though, since they're incredibly spoiled, but I suppose that is their incentive to perform. They're mostly rescues from some poacher or other too." She tilted her head. "There's also the Keg, though there will be plenty of other opportunities to get drunk, I'm sure."

“Well as much as I’d love to get drunk I need to make a good impression.” Hakan said, “so all that is out. What would do first?” He asked.

Tse-Tse thought for a moment. "The children should be out night training right now, as well as the Mtoaji holding entertainment for night owls like us. This is also when the shrines are least populated as well, though the stories behind them can surely be told to you another time. Ah, though I do need to make a stop to see the warg pups while I am staying here. There's an albino we need to deliver to the Mtoaji's caravan. The pup won't fare well serving in battle or hunts, and gets bullied quite often, so the trainers wish to send it somewhere it can be happier."

"If no one wants it I can take it. It would do fine with hunting in the snow im sure. It would be perfect for our harsh winters back at home." Maya said hopefully.

Tse-Tse hummed in response. "We promised the Mtoaji and his apprentice the pup, but they have quite a few warts so I'm sure you can see about weaseling this one away. Especially since you have been accepted by the dogs."

((oh no is autocorrect going to be a problem for Makya and Maya's names?
Makya bowed his head slightly, "whatever the gods intend is what shall happen." He said, "though if they insist a trade I am in no position to make one."

(Oop xD I was able to tell what u meant tho so either way is fine xD)
Tse-Tse just nodded once before leading them out of the market area. They ended up at a large, pen-like area. There were a lot of these around, due to having quite a few wargs. There was a number of grown ones in the massive encampment, with a few puppies running around. The puppies alone were quite massive, but there was a small white one struggling to get past the larger ones to see as Tse-Tse opened the pen to go inside.

Makya cooed at the creatures, unlinking from Hakan to get a slightly closer look at the, his dark blue gaze fixated not he creatures. Once he saw the tiny albino though his heart melted. He and Hakan stayed back though, knowing it was dangerous to go into an unfamiliar animal's pen without permission. It was basic training logic to wait until they were comfortable with you to walk into their space freely. With the mounts back at home its what would get you trampled by a newly tamed animal.

The puppies started running and bouncing around, the albino getting pushed over and shoved quite a few times. It seemed happy nonetheless, barking happily as Tse-Tse walked over, speaking a few words in her native tongue that got the puppies scattering to go play elsewhere. The puppy was about the size of a small child, and it seemed unlikely that any of these puppies would grow to be gigantic wargs. Tse-Tse simply had to motion with a hand for the pup to follow her back out, the young warg studying the two newcomers curiously as he trotted out of the pen. "I'd invite you to actually go into the pen, but even if you've passed judgement, even the puppies would try to attack you." The albino was the only nice one out of the batch.

Makya nodded, smiling a little as he said, "that is why we did not follow you in. You have to respect their space." He then nudged Hakan before crouching down so they were more so at the albino's height. He couldnt speak to the albino in words as he likely only spoke their native tongue, so instead he reached into his satchel and took out a herb that many of his different mounts quite enjoyed. "Alright, little one. Lets see if you like this too." He said gently, wanting it to at least hear his gentle tone to know he wasnt a threat. He held the herb out in his hand. He wanted to see if it would come to him, or if it were too shy or afraid. If the second was the case he'd simply roll it towards him.

The albino curiously walked up to Makya, snatching the herb away after a moment and going to hide behind Tse-Tse as he chewed on it. He had been careful not to actually bite the man or anything though. Tse-Tse then told Makya "That is a good thing. Usually this one just avoids strangers."

“Which is why you introduce yourself with a treat at first. It makes them associate you with good things and will make them open up more to you.” Makya said he he handed another herb to Hakan to try his luck.

Tse-Tse nodded once. "Most of the pups probably would've tried biting you regardless. Not for anything malicious. Just to figure out if you're durable enough to play with." Which few were even with the puppies. The pup seemed to get excited at the mention of play, but his attention was drawn to the herb Hakan had. He sniffed curiously before snatching it away like he did with Makya. He then proceeded to sniff at Makya instead, trying to see if he had anymore of the herb.

Makya laughed, “seems I have yet another fan of this herb. I’m lucky this is one of the only things I can make grow year round along with all the other food for my animals huh?” He said. “Only a few more yawntutsyìpie (little one).” He took out a small handful of more herbs, he laid them out on the ground before gently holding a hand out to try making contact with the creature.

Tse-Tse watched as the albino sniffed at Makya curiously, nose brushing his hand a few times before he let Makya touch him. Tse-Tse then said "Come, we need to visit the caravan, to see if you'll even be able to have this pup."

Makya smiled. He then snapped out of it and looked up at Tse-Tse before nodding and standing up, brushing himself off. Hakan followed suit. “Lead the way.” Hakan said softly.

Tse-Tse led them a small ways out of the settlement, to an enclosure guarded by some sort of wood fencing. Already you could hear the noisy chatter of animals. Still, Tse-Tse started to whistle, sounding just like a bird. After a few moments, she waited for a response.

Hakan and Makya both waited patiently. Makya glanced down at the albino though, studying him curiously. The creature was very interesting to him since he had never seen one of its kind before.

It took a moment, but someone walked up to the fence. Tall, lanky, and of course they were wearing a mask, but this would be the first one of its type. No eyeholes. Instead it was a slate of bone with eyes carved in. A permanently fearful expression. There were some ears though, furry triangles the same shade as the black hair the person had. "I heard you coming," was all they said. Tse-Tse nodded once, saying "Your hearing gets better every day. Is your mentor here?"

Makya and Hakan both looked wary, but didn’t try to show it much. They looked to Tse-Tse to give them the okay to introduce themselves when needed.

The tall figure nodded once, stepping aside to let them in. As the group walked passed, the figure crouched to be closer to the pup's level. The albino sniffed them warily before perking up, curiously sniffing around as they reached a hand to pet him with surprisingly accuracy despite having no way to actually see. "This must be the albino. Their fur feels healthy."

Makya smiled softly at the interaction, just being glad that this seemed to be a good place for the albino to be. Hakan quietly took in the scenery around them as they walked, taking note of the vibe the decor gave off.

It looked like a neat jumble of pens and dens, but it was entirely other creatures roaming around. Some standard like lions and wolves, but mainly crossbreeds and exotic creatures. They all seemed to be getting along as well, and Tse-Tse led the way in while the other masked individual brought up the rear.

Tse-Tse eventually found someone teaching a some wolves to do some tricks. The masked figure looked over to them, blinking their brown eyes once before saying "Ah, so you brought him-" They huffed as the wolves all bounded over to the taller figure. All of wolves seemed to get the idea all at once to jump onto them, Tse-Tse watching as they were more or less forced to sit down to be sniffed and jumped on.

Tse-Tse then said "Yes, I wanted to deliver the pup before Llum and I left tomorrow. Speaking of. This one here has a request to ask of you two." She then turned to look at Makya. The one she spoke to, along with Llum, turned to look over at the two men.
