Also for my cats - Quailfang doesn't much care one way or another about Bee and Hornet, but doesn't mind putting up with them for Windstep's sake. Windstep is ofc a giant mom and will adopt those two at the drop of a hat. Reedfoot doesn't think it's a good idea, considering recent events, because it'll divide the clan, but has nothing against Bee and Hornet personally. Redwing, of course, hates their guts (sorry), but Scorchkit is a ridiculously curious little fluffball and may or may not sneak into the apprentice den to ask them questions in the middle of the night.

I know, I'm so attached to everyone's characters too! I love everything that's been planned, this is awesome. Aww smokey ! 😆 Maybe I could get Hornet to bother him with questions in retaliation? And SmugGull the idea of Scorchkit pestering them in the night is so cute, I need this to happen! Also despite Quailfang not caring whether Hornet and Bee stay, after that badger story Hornet and Bee think Quailfang is the coolest warrior role-model since sliced cheese. Goodnight Owl! |

Catch Bee desperately trying to avoid Swiftstrike, Nightclaw, Breezebounce, WIllownose, Snowpaw and Redwing like his life depends on it, my quiet son is not a fan of being the object of dislike. Hornet either, but she tries to fix it, while Bee just flees the scene

I LOVE Bee and Hornet so much! They're so good. Also Tallwhisker is great and so is Thrushfur. All Windstep's kits are but I think those two are my favorite.
(Also, don't tell Bee and Hornet - but I have plans[TM] for Quailfang to get very badly injured once the confrontation with the large predator takes place.)

Thrushfur is now Hornet and Bee's ride or die there's no other way to say it he'd absolutely body anyone who tried to mess with his new best friends because they think he's funny? They laugh at his jokes? They don't tell him to shut up? He's now head of the Hornet and Bee defense squad and will absolutely throw hands with anyone who tries them. I've got my new dude Ravenwing too but I think he's gonna be a bit indifferent to the whole situation. Like he's the Clan's gramps and loves all the young'uns to bits even though he doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to kits so he's gonna be all like "these are my new kids Hornet and Bee" but he's not gonna be so keen on the fact that the Clan's so divided over their presence so he's gonna try his best to stay out of it, poor dude's already got a target on his back because his brother was a mass murderer

I love Ravenwing. Foxbite also likes Ravenwing, Reedfoot is too grumpy to care.
Quailfang and Windstep were...probably apprentices around the time that whole thing happened? So I don't know how much they remember but they probably avoid Ravenwing as a matter of course. Quailfang more than Windstep, since Windstep has her kits and if Ravenwing adores the young'uns she's going to form a separate opinion of him much faster than Quailfang would.
Redwing knows nothing of Badgerscar and so also loves Ravenwing to bits.
everyone is going to Suffer with Quailfang I have drawn up a Full Chart of things depending on the injury dice rolls

Thrushfur would definitely love acting like their big brother, because I have a lil headcanon that he was the last to be born out of him, Tallwhisker and Snowface so technically he's the baby of the family lmao so now that Hornet and Bee are around he can be the big brother instead of the little one for a change!! Which ofc he's super excited about buuuut really he'd be as silly as ever and would be always eager to get involved in Hornet's shenanigans
Also I've got wee Beetlekit who's definitely a bit of a troublemaker and is super keen to find out more about Hornet and Bee because he's never seen anyone from outside the Clan before and already thinks they're super cool just because they're not from StormClan so expect him to be getting under their paws a lot
Ravenwing's trying his best to get everyone to trust him but I mean when you've got a Tigerstar/Brokenstar level murderer as your brother it definitely has its impact even if the dude's been dead for like 2 and a half years
that's my emotional support Quailfang don't make him suffer pls

Hey techitisJ we have a plotting page! It keeps the main thread mostly uncluttered. (It's also not linked on the main page atm so rip us) Most of the clan is in a meeting atm but I think there's going to be a patrol sent out soon? And if not, there are definitely several characters who have reasons to leave camp who could run into Jayflight. |

Thanks. I like you're characters a lot too. It's really interesting reading through a lot of the roleplay. I quite enjoy roleplay, because it allows me to practice writing different kinds of characters.
Jayflight Plotting
Since Jayflight is an outsider, I think at some point I will have her make the decision to the clan, but for now I think I plan for her to remain near the territory, but not inside, because she has decided the hunting there was really good. She's a pretty social cat, but what she says might not always be the nicest. Which is why she thinks she wants to join Stormclan at some point, if they'll have her, but she knows she has quite the attitude, which might not make her the most appealing cat.

Accepting even more outsiders into the Clan would definitely further the main plot as well, because cats like Redwing would grow even more resentful towards Sunstar for inviting even more strangers into their home. I think a good way to introduce Jayflight properly to the Clan so they'd be at least made aware of her presence would be in a fight against the predator that left the strange scent in the territory, and I'm starting to think that a mountain lion or a lynx or something that they've never encountered before or haven't in a very, very long time (talking years) would be a good idea. They of course wouldn't kill it, but it would either be wounded or scared off temporarily by the amount of cats that attacked it y'know?
And honestly I feel ya, I didn't roleplay at all for like 4 years and only got back into it like two months ago when I joined this forum and it was such a strange experience finding my feet again

SHOOT guys sorry ive been like awol for like the past couple days!!! the internet has been out at school and ive just like. been going to play rehearsal and then to work and then to sleep lately lmao. anyways im back. i never put down my characters' stances on The Discourse so here i go.
snowface is just a curious babie. she has some like... lowkey ingrained clan-biased prejudices but she kinda just shoves that aside bc she prolly talks to tallwhisker and thrusfur a lot about the New Kids on The Block and she likes to make fun of tallwhisker hehe. she'll probably try to befriend the new friends when she actually shows up eventually aka when i get motivation to play her which will be! soon
brighteyes literally just wants the drama... she doesn't necessarily trust hornet and bee but she's not like. paranoid and scared of them. she doesnt think they have anything to be afraid of and like... this might as well happen, its interesting and new
mossfoot likes the new kids... theyre babies and theyre cute and sweet. she wants to make a good impression. if anything she's a little more concerned about her own social awkwardness than if theyre dangerous or not. plus she doesn't like how much crap sunstar is getting, so that kinda pushes her onto sunstar's side.
rushfall is NOT a fan lol he thinks this whole thing is dumb and he thinks the clan has enough cats and that they dont need to give prey to cats that they cant really trust to stay and contribute. he think sunstars being stupid but he's never really liked sunstar. he's a big negative nancy. but literally thats how he feels about everything. a rift between him and mossfoot will probably be forming soon unfortunately [sad yeehaw emoji]

Sad yeehaw indeed Perhaps Jayflight could help a wounded Quailfang during/after the fight (since that's on the agenda). It would help endear her to the clan and make the issue a little more complicated. (Alternatively - depending on what Jayflight picked up from Rainheart - she could try and help and accidentally make things worse.) EDIT: I had a thought, because I excel in having thoughts - who would have been Cedarheart's mentor? |

ok this isnt plot related but its like ooc and off topic but like. what songs do you guys think would fit your characters. i kinda wanna make a list... random character rambling follows bc this is the only way i can develop ocs. color coding this too to make it easy to read
'all die young' by smith westerners reminds me a lot of snowface. she's sad. ALSO velvet winter by VELVETEARS. again. shes sad
rushfall kinda reminds me of youre gonna go far kid by the offspring? i feel like him and sunstar kind of... competed a lot as apprentices/young warriors and maybe had a rival-esque relationship. i feel like rushfall possibly wanted the deputy position and was Absolutely Pissed when sunpounce got it instead. over time its got to him less but he still really isnt pro-sunstar, and even tries grasping for straws when it comes to finding reasons to dislike him. this irritates the heck out of mossfoot but what can she do. anyways, rushfall is just this guy who pushes himself really hard. i feel like eventually he's gonna try a little too hard and get himself into some big trouble. eyes emoji. also little lion man by mumford and sons. yeah
mossfoot kinda reminds me of king and lionheart by of monsters and men, regarding her relationship with sunstar. she's always been this shy, quiet kid and her brother has always been there to stand up for her and make friends for her. but i think she actually like. made friends with sunpaw on her own. and he's been like the one cat she's actually comfortable being herself with other than rushfall. she's really just loyal to the cats she loves and her clan and she wants whats best. i think no matter what the outcome is with sunstar she'll always be there for him no matter what even if it kills her. i love pain
brighteyes took me a second but i think she reminds me of 'in the heat of the moment' by noel gallagher's high flying birds. i think she really loves her family, and her and nightclaw are still especially close and can and will go through hell together. she values her relationships because her family has always been her biggest supporters. she will absolutely go down for any of them. brighteyes is just. having a good time lol. also... like... killer queen because she's so dainty. i feel like apprentices from other clans (do other clans exist) would mistake her for a kittypet. she's soft and cute and pretty and takes very good care of herself. but she is literally ripped and is insanely dangerous on the battlefield. she Will not hesitate to go ballistic on you. SHE JUST LOVES THE DRAMA

Spottedkit, right now, the closest song would be dollhouse by Melanie Martinez because she is probably going to be the one trying her best to remain the mature and calm one while seeing the problems with her family. Esp. once she learns more about how her father has effected her mother and finally meet him when he comes to claim them. Can she land a hit? Spottedkit yes She is gonna grow to be more independent and stronger in her apprentice years. Honestly, I have planned too far.
Owlswoop, bless him, has way too much confidence. It's going to be his end. I think he fits Whatever It Takes by Imagine Dragons just because he is going to push himself to the limit for the things and cats he believes in. He doesn't have any family left and really considers the apprentices he mentors and the rest of the clan his new family. He would do anything to keep his big family together, happy, and healthy.
Mothpaw secretly would become a kittypet if she could leave her family behind. She doesn't like fighting or really any type of conflict. Big groups? She is uncomfortable and just wants to lay down. She would like the comfort of a warm lap and quiet, peaceful afternoons of sunbeams and full bellies. Hello my old heart by The oh hellos suits her very well as she really struggles with keeping this part about her hidden and to keep everyone pleased. Right now, she isn't considering the kittypet life and really just feels out of place. Overall, she is happy with her life but I feel like once she visits the twoleg place, she might find another path.

This is kinda hard with my darlings but let's go through my playlists and see if I can match them.
Silverstrike: This sweet boy was the easiest. Living Louder - The Cab. Silverstrike is a bright, optimistic boy who wants to live his life to the fullest while protecting those he loves. He'll fight as hard and long as he has to so that his Clan can go to sleep at the end of the day with no worries and full bellies, but he'll laugh and shout while doing it.
And regarding the last discussion, Silverstrike adores his new Apprentice and her brother and will fight for them if he has to.
Applepaw: My little shy baby girl. She's heard them talk about her, about how shy and timid she is. How she won't make it as a Warrior. But she's easily summed up by Brave - Sara Bareilles because as shy as she is right now, one day she's going to show them all exactly how brave she can really be.
Applepaw is unsure right now about Hornet and Bee, but she'll probably warm up to them quickly so long as they're friendly to her.
Badgertuft: My big boy came next. Badgertuft is complicated, because he's physically had a hard life, but it's been relatively normal in terms of family. In the end, I settled on Nickelback - What are you waiting for. Because he doesn't believe in holding back, in letting fear rule him or trying to wait for the 'Right Moment'. He wants to live his life in the best way possible, giving it everything he has and doing whatever he can.
Badgertuft is wary of outsiders. It will take him a while to trust them, but he won't condemn them unless they prove dangerous.
Thistleshade: Ah, my complicated little buff bean. Thistle is a study in contradictions - Cold but warm, Stoic but loving, Analytical but imaginative. It took me quite a while, but I've settled on Imagine Dragons - It's Time because there were those when she was young who didn't trust her or Silverstrike. With a Rogue mother and a father who gave up his Warrior duties to care for his kits, the Clan wasn't sure what to make of it all. But from the time she was small, Thistleshade was a fighter, she was determined to work as hard as she could and reach as far as she needed to. And for all she's become stoic and cold on the outside, inside she is still the same fierce little kit clawing out a place for herself in this world and she will never change. Not where it matters.
Thistleshade will accept Hornet and Bee, because Sunstar accepted Hornet and Bee. Sunstar might not be the most confident Leader, but he is her Leader and StarClan help those who go against his orders, because Thistleshade certainly won't.
