“Of course!” said Myrnin, sounding excited. He trotted after Nico, watching as the forest got closer and closer. He could smell a lot of interesting things in it. Things he couldn’t quite place, but that still smelled vaguely like animals. Humm. He wasn’t sure what Nico had in mind to show him, but he trusted that it would be something very … Nico. So he wasn’t surprised that it was leading them away from other people. He just wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or not. Wanting quiet space or preferring to be alone was fine by him. He could understand that. But he also knew that Nico struggled connecting with people in camp. He supposed what he was getting at was Nico going to someplace or away from someplace? “This is a lot of space,” he noted. “When I think of a ‘camp’ I think of, like, a clearing with a tent in it.” He’d known that this wasn’t what this place was, but it was still an impressive size for his expectations. "Does it extend out to the water?" he asked, pointing. That was one place he didn't want to go.

“Oh yeah,” Nico replied with a small shrug, “Camp is pretty big. It’s probably one of the biggest places anywhere near New York City. I imagine it’s a lot like what upstate looks like, just with… you know, better weather.” Nico had been a lot of places in his short life. Upstate was not one of them. He imagined it wasn’t very pleasant – the remote part was nice, at least, but the weather seemed unpredictable, and there were plenty of monsters upstate. There were more places for them to hide than there were in a city as big as New York. “But yeah. I’d rather this than what most people think of when they think of camping. I’ve spent a little too much time sleeping on the ground, and a tent really doesn’t make it that much better. Not that… I’ve ever used a tent.” He shrugged, then turned his attention back the way they were heading. “Camp goes into the lake, yeah, but we aren’t going towards the lake. I don’t spend much time there.” He didn’t know if Myrnin wanted to go to the lake or not, but he had asked Nico to show him someplace he liked. If Myrnin wanted to go to the lake after, that was fine. He walked another couple of paces, finally ending up at a rather large tree in the middle of the forest. “Follow me,” he said after a moment, then took a running start before launching himself into the branches of the trees, swinging on one of the lower ones before he managed to leverage his leg up.

Well that looked easy enough. Climbing a tree, that was. This was saying that Myrnin actually climbed it, of course, because what he actually did was looked up and then sprang into the upper branches as if his feet had springs attached at the heels. He grabbed onto one of the branches and pulled himself up, but then carefully watched Nico for his next move. They seemed to be climbing the tree without Myrnin knowing their destination, so he was prepared to completely take cues from his friend. "After you," he said, looking a bit like a very bright eyed and interested cat than a person as he waited to find out their mystery destination. What did Nico want? he wondered. From him, that was. This was his home, but he wasn't getting a lot of clear clues on what was and was not okay to guide them through. What might be best for Nico? For Myrnin to take the lead in this or for Nico to tell Myrnin what to see and where to go?

Myrnin was undoubtedly faster than Nico, so Nico tried to climb a little bit faster. He had done it dozens of times before, so he wasn’t worried about slipping or losing his footing. He didn’t want to make Myrnin wait on him just so he could show him what he wanted him to see. He didn’t want to tell Myrnin exactly where they were going yet. He’d find out soon enough. He leveraged himself up a couple more branches until the wooden bottom of what appeared to be a treehouse appeared above them. It was crudely made, but it was steady enough to hold weight. Nico had checked and double checked that. “Here we are,” he said, propping up the entrance and sliding up into the treehouse. He almost reached down to help Myrnin up, but stopped himself as he realized Myrnin probably wouldn’t have appreciated it. The view from the treehouse covered almost all of Camp. Over the trees, he could see the little horseshoe of cabins, could see the hill and the tree, the stables, the cafeteria… it was his own little crow’s nest, built into the middle of the forest. “It’s peaceful up here,” he said after a moment. “And you’re still part of everything, without having to actually talk to people when you don’t want to.”

Nico was a bit too nervous for his own good. Myrnin wouldn't have minded the hand at all. But since Nico had already retracted it, he didn't really bother to comment on it. Instead he pulled himself up until he was sitting on the old wood, looking out. He brightened a bit at the sight, looking around. At the trees and at the places beyond. "I get why that would be a good thing for you," he said, sitting in a way that he could pull his legs close to his body and hug at his knees. When that comment was done, he did find himself glancing at Nico. "It's a nice spot," he agreed with a small twitch of a smile. Then he looked back. Him being Myrnin, constantly moving as he was, it wasn't exactly in his nature to stay still. But he found himself doing so. For Nico as much as anything. It seemed like he would probably use a bit of time alone - a bit of time at least to think without Myrnin cutting in. So Myrnin waited for Nico to comment about when he wanted to move. When he wanted to do something.

Nico was genuinely trying his best. He didn’t always know how to navigate things, but… he was trying. He had never shown anyone around camp before, let alone someone he actually cared about. It was a new experience, and he was determined not to mess it up. Especially since he had already messed up their little jaunt to Morganville. He still wanted to go back, but… they would get there when they got there. For now… for now it was one foot in front of the other and hope that Myrnin liked camp at least a little bit. “It is nice,” Nico confirmed, standing up and looking out over camp. It was relatively lively now, people getting up and going about their business. Nico couldn’t hide his small smile. He wasn’t sure he would ever truly belong here, but he was starting to like it more than he had before, so that was something. It was starting to feel at least a little bit like home. “If you see anywhere you want to go from here…” he stepped back so Myrnin could look out over camp if he wanted to. “I guess here’s the best place to spot anything that might interest you about camp.”

Well, there was something else Myrnin wanted to do first before he took a look at the bird's eye view of camp. He had to look around first though. Not at the camp at large, but at where they were and what was around them in Nico's favorite place at camp. Hum. Nothing. He wanted something. He looked at Nico pensively. Then moved his arms in such a way that it looked a bit like he was stretching, only with the arms slightly angled toward the demigod. "You look like you need an air hug. So air hug." Then he dropped his arms and turned to look out at the camp again. "What's the large and obtrusively painted house?" he asked. "Also you have horses?" He'd noticed the stables.

Nico didn’t know exactly what Myrnin was looking for, but… he was curious. He tilted his head curiously at the vampire, only understanding as Myrnin angled his arms towards him. Oh. “Y’know,” he murmured, letting himself step a little bit closer, “With you it doesn’t have to be an air hug. If you wanted an actual hug, I mean. As long as you warned me first, it’s just… you’re a friend, and a lot of people who try aren’t, and it’s a lot easier to actually hug friends…” he trailed off, cheeks reddening as he realized he had been rambling. Hopefully, Myrnin wouldn’t mind. “I just mean,” Nico said softly, “I trust you. That’s all.” It was easier to turn his attention back towards camp. He could answer questions about that a lot more easily than he could talk about his feelings. “That’s the Big House,” he said, giving a small laugh. “It’s… aptly named.” His gaze drifted towards the stables and he shook his head. “Not horses,” he replied, coming up next to Myrnin. “Pegasi.”

"If you're okay with it," Myrnin said with a small smile. "I wouldn't mind then." So long as Nico was alright with the idea, that was. But his attention was drawn to other things now. Things out in the camp. "The Big House," he chuckled. "Someone wasn't very imaginative. What's it for?" His eyes switched between it and the stables. His eyebrows rose at the mention of pegasi. "Oh really? That is quite interesting. Do they like you at all?" He looked at Nico for that one. There didn't seem to be any pressure to say that they did or they didn't, just honest curiosity on whether or not pegasi were as skittish as so many other creatures that sometimes came into Nico'a life. "Have you been on the roof of the Big House?" he added. This time there was an implication in his voice. Playful even. Mischief alight in his eyes.

Nico moved forward, giving a small nod and awkwardly leaning his weight against Myrnin. It was as close to an invitation for a hug as he was comfortable getting. If Myrnin wanted an actual hug, he would have to initiate. Initiating this much contact was a huge sign that he trusted Myrnin. He took a breath in, noting how different it felt to be close to Myrnin. Myrnin didn’t radiate heat like others did. Of course he didn’t, he was dead. Still… the contact was comforting, if only because Nico knew him and trusted him, and being close to a friend, though frightening at times… felt good. “The Big House is where Dionysus and Chiron spend most of their time,” he explained, not even bothering to move away from Myrnin. “It’s for important meetings and greeting new campers, and also so Seymour doesn’t annoy people by being put somewhere else.” Nico’s expression soured a bit at the question. “They… tolerate me, for the most part. They know what I’ve done for Camp, but most of them don’t like me. It’s a smelling like death thing.” He wondered if they would be repulsed by Myrnin for the same reason… he didn’t want to set his friend up for disappointment, but the truth was he didn’t actually know. “What?” the question came sharply, and it was quickly followed by a soft, surprised smile. “No, I haven’t. Do you think we should try it?”

Personally, Myrnin wasn't that interested in Pegusi. Maybe in the future. But he did perk up at the mention of the name of a god and a character from mythology. Though that meant he just chuckled a bit. He cared about spending time with Nico, so in general he was far more interested in seeing what he could do with his friend. A hug as well. Or Nico's equivalent of one. It was nice. "Yesssssssss," he said. "I think we should. I think that it would be ... hum ... highly adaptive training for someone such as yourself. After all, it is a high point in camp. And those are good. I think." He sounded a bit in doubt near the end. But he still nodded several times, trying to look confident, even if he didn't sound like it. He nodded toward the Big House again. "So ..." Then he grinned, his lips twitching like he was made for mischief. "How do you want to get on that roooof?"

Nico nodded at that, not pulling away from Myrnin quite yet. He gave a small smile, relieved that Myrnin wasn’t pushing too hard, wasn’t trying to talk to him about the things he didn’t want to talk about. He was fine just… sharing Camp with his friend, even if there were parts of it that weren’t exactly vampire friendly. “They’re good,” he confirmed softly, looking out over it for a long moment. He turned his attention quickly towards the Big House, trying to consider how they might be able to go there. It did sound fun, especially since there was no longer a rotting Oracle in the attic. “Maybe… not shadow travel,” he said after a moment, pondering it without quite moving away from Myrnin. “Or… can you jump high cause you’re strong, or is that not a thing?” Nico tilted his head, realizing he didn’t actually know all the details of Myrnin’s powers. “Maybe we should wait until dark though… it’ll be easier to get up there without Dionysus catching us and cursing us. I’ve been a plant too many times… I don’t want to become grapes.”

"Dionysus?" Myrnin murmured, sounding far too curious for safety. He let his head tilt and seemed deeply amused by the prospect of annoying a god. As mentioned, not the most sane option. "I can just high because I'm strong," Myrnin said, tilting his head from left to right and not completely sure what Nico was getting at with that particular question. "Dark would work," he added. "But did you have something in mind? In general, I mean?" It seemed likely that Nico at least had something on his mind. Myrnin wasn't sure. Could a god sense shadow travel? It would be bad for Nico and he was frankly very concerned that he had even mentioned it, but he tried not to draw attention to it. Bad memories, he was sure, would have attention drawn to it as well.

“Yep, Dionysus,” Nico replied, giving a small shake of his head. Of course Myrnin was intrigued by the prospect of ticking him off. “He’s… actually, if you want to mess with a god, he’s probably the best one to mess with. I know he’s not permitted to hurt any campers, but I would be careful. I don’t think there are any rules against hurting vampires that make a point of being annoying." A smile touched his lips again. “If you could jump high enough to get us to the roof… that would work. I mean, normally I would suggest shadow travel, but I’ve done a lot of that today, and I’m not… technically supposed to do it more than once a week. It may not be best used for getting on top of buildings and stuff. But… if you can’t jump that high, then we can probably find a ladder or something.”

"Yeah, I'm not a camper," said Myrnin, stating the obvious with an amused flick of his ponytail. He seemed a bit playful, at least for a couple seconds. Then he glanced in the direction of the Big House again. "Perhaps I will avoid getting turned into grape vines for the time being." He was eyeing the distance up there with a quiet interest and then nodded pointedly several times. "I can get us up there," he said brightly, tilting his head back with a bright smile. Then he indicated the way they had come and, presumably, the way out of the tree, "After you? I can reach that in a jump, I am sure." It made him feel very excited. Just because it just seemed like something maybe they shouldn't be doing. Or maybe also because it just seemed like something fun to do with Nico. "No shadow travel needed," he quickly added, before nodding several times again.

A small smile slipped across Nico’s face at the confirmation that Myrnin could, in fact, get them up safely. He didn’t want to have to shadow travel, especially given how much of it he had already done. He knew he was supposed to be careful, but it was a useful tool. And he hadn’t exactly expected to see the Sam that wasn’t Sam, though he probably should’ve been prepared for it. A blush spread across his cheeks at the thought, though he quickly pushed it away. “Here we go, then,” he murmured, deftly making his way down the tree. He wasn’t as graceful as Myrnin was bound to be, but he was pretty good for someone who didn’t have vampire reflexes. Perhaps because he was rather practiced at getting up and down. “I look forward to seeing how you get us up there,” he added lightly. He believed a jump would work, but… well, best to be a bit skeptical until it actually happened.

Myrnin looked back and wiggled his eyebrows, still looking playful. He did have to wonder to himself if that was just how he felt or if he was trying to be happy and cheerful for Nico. Things were hard. The vampire could at least recognize that. "It would rather depend how you wanted up," he admitted. "I could jump us both up there at the same time. Or I could drop something, like a rope, down for you to climb up. I'm sure there are a lot of options." He was glancing around again, still a bit impressed that he'd been walking around a secret camp and no one had questioned him. It made him feel a touch amused and highly convinced to visit again. Only this time he'd attempt to work his way through the barrier again (saying it would return upon his departure). "And what about this camp director of yours?" he wondered brightly. "What is he likely to do? I wonder if he was the one I threw a rock at. I threw a rock at someone ... hum ... I wonder if I should say that I'm sorry ..." He looked at Nico for clarity. "Would that be advised?"

“Either works,” Nico replied, giving a small smile. “It might be a bit easier to just jump us up at the same time, but maybe a little bit more exciting for me to climb up. Depends how close we want to cut it when it comes to getting caught and stopped,” he added, breathy amusement lightening his tone. “We’re a lot more likely to be stopped if I have to take the extra time to climb up, but we could probably still make it. And it would piss them off a bit more.” He glanced at Myrnin, mischief blazing in his eyes. “Unfortunately, I’m not surprised you threw a rock at someone,” Nico added, brows raising. “If it was Dionysus, I would have loved to see his expression, but he might turn you into a plant if he finds out. If it was Chiron… good luck.” He was mostly joking. Mostly. “I mean… Chiron will probably forgive you. He’s the more forgiving of the two, I’ve never seen him angry, but honestly that would be quite a sight. He’s pretty impressive in battle.” He considered Myrnin for a few moments, then gave a small nod. “I’d say sorry if it was Chiron. If it was Dionysus… you could apologize, but you could also run. An apology might get you turned into a plant. Or, if he’s being lenient, he’ll just insult you for a while.”

"Huum," Myrnin said, tilting his head back to look up at the sky more than he looked up at Nico. It was almost like he was expecting another rock to fall out of the sky on him this time. "Not sure," he admitted. "I can't be sure at all. But I'm assuming that I'll find out." Nico's tone had been partly serious and partly joking. Myrnin's was more musing. "I am pretty good at running," he added one. "I am not sure I would want to outrun someone who has for legs, so I will forgo running from Chiron if it was him who got a new pet rock." His attention moved back to the house at large, then grinned. "Scaling a house it is!" he said brightly. "I will be quite happy to see how it turns out." He clapped his hands excitedly together and headed for the building, skipping a bit as he did. He looked along the line of windows, then jumped toward the nearest ledge of sorts.

“That sounds like a good idea,” Nico replied, a bit of humor passing into his voice. “Chiron might be ablet outrun you, even with vampire speed, just by virtue of being a horse. Actually… I sort of want to see who would win that race.” A tiny smile spread across his face, but he wasn’t serious. Well… he wasn’t that serious. It would be an interesting race to watch, but not if it meant that Myrnin had gotten in trouble with Chiron. The first step for Nico was just a lot of watching. He couldn’t leap as high as Myrnin had just managed, so he needed to wait until there was something he could hold onto. He could try to climb without anything, but… he frowned up at Myrnin, then took a running start at the wall and caught hold of it as best he could. It didn’t take more than a few seconds for him to start sliding back down. “Maybe… I’ll need a little more help,” he admitted, face reddening just a bit. “Do you have anything to throw down once you make it to the top?” He was trying to be quiet while still being heard by Myrnin. It wasn’t working as well as he had hoped.

A bit amused, but still sympathetic, Myrnin turned his head to look down at Nico. He considered the question, then dropped back to the ground below. Then he looked up at the side of the building, plotting out the journey with his eyes. There didn't seem to be any way that a regular human could scale that type of face. He also didn't have anything to toss down. Not on him, at any rate. He glanced back at Nico, then once again preformed the same sort of leap as before, only this time he ended up slightly above Nico. From there, he indicated the edge of a window. It was the gap between windows that were going to be a problem, but he actually had an idea for that. "Perhaps grab onto my shoe when you are struggling?" suggested the vampire, already clambering upward like a very odd looking spider. He didn't seem to be having trouble with the wall at all, nor did he seem to be having particular difficulty with getting to the next window ledge up.

Nico watched, curious how Myrnin was going to solve the issue of Nico simply not being as skilled as a vampire would be at climbing something that smooth. The solution Myrnin came up with wasn’t one Nico had seen coming, but it seemed like it might work, so Nico was more than willing to give it a try. He gave a firm nod, running at the building and grasping on as best he could, one hand almost immediately moving towards Myrnin’s ankle for stability. “Thanks,” he gasped, pulling him up to the window ledge so he could have a bit of a breather. He peered in for a moment, grateful to see that nobody was in the main room – at least not for the time being. If he wasn’t careful to keep quiet, someone might hear and come to investigate, but for now they were in the clear. “I’m heading to the next ledge,” he informed Myrnin, doing his best to leverage himself up without Myrnin’s shoe. “It’s not easy,” he managed, though that was the understatement of the year. He was determined to try to make it to the next ledge without relying on Myrnin, though.

Myrnin hummed in great amusement, suddenly springing upward. He cleared the area he was at with each, gripping at the next ledge and hoisting himself up. It was easy and he was watching Nico to see if there was any need to offer more help. But sooner or later they did reach the top. Myrnin pulled himself over the side of the roof, standing, and stretched out his legs. From there, he looked across the camp, hands on his hips as a stiff breeze blew his hair about. Nice. He had to admit that the view and everything which came with it wasn't bad at all. Highly satisfying, all things considered. "What should we do up here?" he asked Nico cheerfully. "Have a little dance, perhaps?" The roof was quite slanted, so that would be hard. But he still found himself amused even at the idea. It just seemed like a fun way to celebrate reaching this far. For still existing at all. "I'd like if you came back to Morganville," he said suddenly. "But ... maybe not know. I think ... we all need to take care of things. And I should maybe head back soon. To do that." It was hard to say when Nico seemed to be struggling so much. But Myrnin wasn't sure how to protect his friend from struggles. It seemed like they would happen anyway.

Once they had gotten halfway up, Nico found it a lot easier to clamber up the rest of the way. There was the small issue of getting down eventually, but Nico scarcely gave that more than a second’s consideration before he stood up, trying to see if the view was any different from other places around camp. Technically, it wasn’t that different. He could see the cabins better, perhaps, and he could see a little bit outside the barrier that protected them, but… it wasn’t all that different from the view at the top of the rock wall. The feeling it gave, though… that was different. The feeling of knowing they weren’t supposed to be up there but they were anyway… it was a thrill of adrenaline that Nico hadn’t quite been prepared for. Not that he would ever trade it away. This was a secret. A rebellion. Something that was his and Myrnin’s alone, and they never had to share it if they didn’t want to. “A dance,” Nico echoed, doing a mock bow to Myrnin as though about to start some sort of elaborate dance. He allowed himself a tiny smile before his gaze moved back over the sweeping view of camp, the strawberry fields looking surprisingly small from where he stood. “If you’re serious, that would be fun,” he said distantly, gaze scanning their surroundings. It took him a few moments to process Myrnin’s words. He was distracted by the view, by his own thoughts… when his mind caught up, he found that wasn’t what he had expected to hear. “You’re leaving,” he murmured, and it wasn’t a question. “For how long? I mean… I’d like to go back and apologize to Lady Grey and to uh… to Samuel. For the way I acted. And I’d like to see the things you tried to show me that we didn’t really get enough time to see. But… if it has to wait until you finish… whatever you have to take care of, that’s… fine.”

"I'm not sure for how long," Myrnin admitted. He rubbed at the back of his head and looked just a bit annoyed. "Morganville needs me. I don't leave very often." He wasn't allowed to leave very often. He didn't say it, but it was as much a prison as it was a stronghold. "So once what we need to get done here is ... well ... done ... then I don't know. We'll have to go back to Morganville." He turned to face Nico with slightly more attention than he had before. "Did you want to come? Visit, I mean. We got to Morganville through the labyrinth. So maybe you can come to visit then?" He hoped so. He really wanted that for Nico. Not just to apologize, he seemed to want that for himself, but for him to actually see what it was like in Myrnin's home. "I ... I hope we can take care of what we need to do soon. Two weeks, maybe?" Maybe upwards of a couple months. Myrnin didn't know exactly. But he was looking at Nico hopefully. Clearly, he wanted to show his friend things, but it stretched further than that. He wanted Nico to be okay.

“That makes sense,” Nico replied, though there was a little bit of disappointment evident in his tone. He didn’t want Myrnin to leave. He didn’t want this to be over, because it had only just begun, and he had ruined it by fleeing the moment he saw something that hit a little bit too close to home. He wanted a re-do button. He wanted a chance to erase the mess he had made and just… let Myrnin show him around Morganville. There was still more he wanted to see, even if it meant coming face to face with the not-Samuel again. Maybe… maybe he could even be friends with this Samuel. Maybe that wouldn’t be entirely impossible. He bit his lip, trying to think of the right words to say. “Can I visit before you’re done with… whatever you have to do?” Nico asked, gaze searching Myrnin’s. He wasn’t interested in the view form the Big House anymore. He was more interested in what Myrnin was saying, in the possibility of visiting, because being with a friend somewhere he didn’t know was probably better than being completely alone somewhere that was intimately familiar to him. He forced himself to look away, not wanting to seem too intense or needy. “I mean… I can also wait two weeks. But I guess if my fatal flaw is keeping grudges, then my next most fatal flaw is not being able to step back when someone might be able to use my help. I don’t… know how much help I’d be, but if I can do anything to help you with the situation in Morganville… I’d be happy to. Whatever you need. It’s… been a while since I really had anything important to do. I sort of miss it.”

There was clear hesitation in Myrnin's posture as he seemed to consider whether or not it would be reasonable for Nico to visit before they finished what they were doing in New York. "You can," he agreed. "I think. I'd have to ask Lady Grey. But I think you can." There. That was the best answer he could give when it was all technically a team effort on whether or not things could be done. "I'm not sure what you would help with though," he said, almost murmuring to himself. "We're trying to find Sam's brother. We're not having much luck though. So there's that ..." He wasn't sure if that was even something that Nico could help with, but he through the information out there anyway. Maybe there would be something.

“Good. I’d… like that.” Nico tried to smile, but the expression felt foreign and uncertain. He didn’t know how to navigate any of this. He was… well, he was tired. And he wanted to be with his friends, and he wanted not to be alone, and he wanted Sam to know who he was, and he wanted this Sam to be his Sam, and there was so much he wanted that was impossible. He was just going to have to make do with what he had. “Sam’s brother?” Nico asked, uncertainty flashing in his eyes. He didn’t know the entirety of the situation, but he knew enough. He wasn’t sure he liked that… he knew Sam didn’t often speak about Pax, and when he did he didn’t say much. Which meant that looking for him… even if it wasn’t the same universe… somehow Nico doubted that it was going to go well. “I want to help,” he said before he could stop himself, not even taking a moment to think twice about it. “I tend to be halfway decent at finding people, usually… the Underworld is a pretty good network when it comes to things like that, I might be able to find a lead you couldn’t…”

Help? Myrnin wasn't sure how he would do that. How could Nico help locate someone who wasn't dead? Then again, underestimating his friend was not what he was going to do. "We'd appreciate any help we could get," he confirmed, nodding his head a couple of times. "But I would rather you don't join the underworld in the process due to shadow traveling. That would likely be preferred." With the fact that this was a search for Sam's brother. It was important. Yet Myrnin didn't know exactly what they might find. So long as Nico was okay with it ... well. "Thank you," he added. Then, with that, he glanced around. "Should we ... I should probably go now. At least for the time being." It had been a long day. A very long day.

“I’ll be careful,” Nico promised, knowing that he couldn’t back out of it after he said it like a vow. Being careful didn’t come easy to him, but he didn’t want Myrnin to have to feel responsible if anything happened to him. And he wanted to help. Getting used to life at Camp, facing the fact that there were no more wars for him to fight… it was stressful. It was harder than he had expected to find his place in that world. Having something to do, something where he might actually make a little bit of difference… well, it was exactly the sort of opportunity he needed. “Right,” he whispered, pulling back a little and staring back at the ground. “You should uh… go. But wait…” he fished a drachma out of his pocket before lightly pressing it into Myrnin’s hand. “If you need anything or there’s something I could help with… Iris message me. I should be able to help, at least a little bit.”
