Mira carried the girl into the cabin, laying her down on the now-clean couch and taking the first aid kit from Ducky. "Thanks," she said brusquely, quickly opening it up and beginning to sift through it. She pulled out a roll of bandages and a bottle of disinfectant, then set to work cleaning the wound on the girl's arm. "You still with us?" she asked, pouring a bit of the disinfectant onto a disposable towelette. "This is going to sting a lot, but it'll clean everything right up." That said, she pressed the amp towelette to the wound and held it.
"Is she going to die?" Sunny asked Ducky, reaching up to cling to the edge of his shirt. She didn't sound afraid anymore, just sad, and maybe a little worried. Her mind flashed back to the School, where human experiments would die during the tests and games that the scientists put them through.

Jib swam in and out of consciousness. She had no idea where she was, the ceiling above was made of dark wood. Mira's words jumbled and loud. Jib really wanted just to fall asleep for a while but the jabbing pain up her arm really didnt help. She gritted her teeth.
Ducky knelt down and picked Sunny up trying to comfort the young child. "I think she will survive, Mira is really good at this type of stuff." But the wound was deep, that would leave a scar for sure if this girl survived.

Autumn winced in pain. "I'm okay, I'm okay. I just really hurt." She sat up, the zebra toy in one hand, and the other on the back of her head. "I hit the back of my head pretty hard. I'll be fine though. I think." She handed the toy to Luke. "I dunno about you, but I can barely write my name, let alone stitch this back together."

"I think she'll be alright, but she's pretty badly hurt and she's exhausted. I don't think she can understand what I'm saying," Mira replied, looking concerned. She tightly bandaged the girl's arm, recognizing that this was her worst injury. She then began to move the old pillows on the couch around, propping her head and arm up so they wouldn't be hurt any further. "I think... we should let her rest for now. See if she comes around."
Luke let out a breath, glad to see that Autumn didn't seem injured. "Don't scare me like that, stupid," he sighed, socking her lightly on the shoulder before he offered his hand to her to pull her to her feet. "And don't worry about how bad the zebra looks, I'm sure I can figure something out," he added with a small grin.

Ducky nodded placing Sunny back on the ground. "I can take sunny out to play while she rests." They really didnt have any toys to play with but a good game of hide and seek would take both of their minds off the injured girl.
Jib finally fell victim to the inky blackness of unconscious.

Ducky sighed softly, his blurry gaze followed a dot across the sky, it was a bird for sure but all details lost to Ducky. "Yeah, but at least she found us now she doesnt have to be afraid anymore." Ducky ruffled Sunnys hair. "Now do you want to be the hider or the seeker?" Ducky tried to change the subject. But in all honesty Ducky was worried for the girl. He remembered when he first stumbled upon Mari and Luke and the others. He basically crashed into Luke and Mira pulled a knife on him. Fun times.

Autumn smiled. "Aww, how cute. You care so much, don't you? You're such a goofball. I promise you, if I was really hurt like that, I'd be knocked out, or close to it." She gently grabbed his hand, and heaved herself up to her feet. "Anyway, we could try and glue it back together. To clean it, we could either pick up a bar of soap, or some dish soap, and scrub it in the river on our way back."

Sunny was thankful for the change in subject. "I'll hide first," she replied, taking a few steps away from Ducky. "I'll warn you, though, I'm pretty good at hiding."
Luke turned away so his back was to Autumn, embarrassed. "C'mon, don't tease me about something I can't help," he grumbled, picking up the boxes that had tipped over in the fall. "Yeah, alright. Let's go pay for these clothes, and then maybe we can grab some food in between shopping trips," he offered.

Autumn giggled. "Alright, whatever you say." She then began to help picking up boxes as well, putting them back as best as she could, as she was too short. She smiled at him when she was done. "I'm gonna get some little cakes." She seemed somewhat determined to get them. "And while we get food, we can get some glue and soap, and put the doll together after we wash it."

Ducky chuckled. "Im a really good seeker I bet i can find you in under a minute." Ducky lied. "Alright i will count to 20." Ducky turned so he was facing the cabin. "1! 2!" Ducky started the count down.

Autumn grinned. "Yaaaayy!" She took the bags Luke handed to her, and held open the door for him so he could leave. "Next stop, the store!" As she looked out towards the city, she couldn't help but smile. She had the sudden urge to spread her wings out, and take off into the sky. Her wings began to twitch, making a faint rustling sound in the coat. She placed a hand over her back, trying to stop them from giving them away.

Duck did have horrible eye sight but his hearing made up for that he listened intently as he counted the tell tale sound of flapping wings and rustling tree branches told Ducky Sunny had flew up into a tree. "20!" Ducky turned on his heels his eyes up to the tree tops. He couldn't see her but his ears brought him to Where he thought Sunny was. "Your up in the tree." He called up to Sunny.

Luke laid a hand on Autumn's shoulder, a silent warning. "Don't get too excited, now. We'll go for a flight once we get back to the cabin, but for now we have to keep those wings still," he reminded her. He headed toward a local supermarket that was certain to have plenty of canned and boxed foods. They were the easiest to keep and store, and also the cheapest to buy, but some fresh fruit would go a long way toward keeping the Flock's spirits up as well.
Sunny giggled as she was discovered, fluttering down from the tree with a strong flap of her bluebird wings. "Aw, you found me so fast! Were you listening?" she asked.

Ducky huffed softly. "Nooo!" He lied with a soft chuckle. Ducky stepped back a foot. "Now its my turn to hide."
Jib suddenly jolted up, her sleep was short and restless but it was a wonderful escape from the waking world. Jib felt lost. She had no idea where she was but the little sleep she did manadged helped her clear her head. Jib was use to running on very few hours of sleep. There was a flower field, a girl and maybe one other person. Jibs eyes quickly turned to Mira. Her whole body grew stiff.

Autumn sighed. "I know. It's just that I can't help it." She murmured back to him, and followed him to the supermarket. Autumn began looking excitedly at the arrangement of desserts. She scooped up two boxes of cookies and a small chocolate cake. "This'll help with morale!" She grinned childishly. "Besides, we could all use some every once and a while, natural or not. Sugar, I mean." A yawn escaped from her.

Sunny nodded, turning her face toward the tree and covering her eyes as she began to count. "1... 2... " she began, making sure to speak loudly so she could be easily heard.
Mira glanced up as Jib stirred, placing her magazine down on the coffee table. "Ah, you're awake! That's good," she said, keeping her voice quiet and unthreatening as she made her way over. "How do you feel? You were a real mess when you walked into these woods. Well, you still are, kinda."
Luke chuckled as Autumn piled on the sweets, but made no move to stop her at this point. Instead, he began to fill a cart with canned and boxed foods, as well as a few fruits and vegetables to balance out the sugar Autumn as bringing in. "Yeah, some sweets sound like they could be good," he agreed. "Just don't grab too many. We want to save as much money as we can for later, after all."

Nova has a slim yet curvy figure standing at 5"10 with more exotic features. She has black hair with with naturally wavy hair which one might call "beach waves". Her hair is naturally a really dark black but she died it with some blue, so in some lighting her hair appears dark blue and in others, black. She keeps it long and falls down near her waist. She mainly has it in some sort of braid so it doesn’t get in the way. Her features are rather soft with a small upturned nose, heart-shaped lips, and wide almond eyes with thick eyelashes and thin eyebrows that frame them. Her eyes are icy blue in color and her eyebrows match the natural black of her hair. Her wings are proportional to her height and weight with a wingspan of 14 ft. The feathers on these large wings are a dark blue but in different lightings (just like her hair) they shift to a sapphire blue, a teal blue, and an emerald green. Sometimes, when morphing with wings, she can have the tail feather of her counterpart which are the same color as her wings. They are long “sticks’ with a paddle-like feather at the end. Her tail feathers drag on the floor when she does have it but it’s 50/50 chance she could accidentally morph with them. She typically has clothing that is stretchy such as leggings and a long shirt. Nova is a fun-loving gal, sometimes risking her own life just to get out once in a while. She loves to laugh and make other laugh. It’s one of her greatest pleasures in life. When she is not having fun, Nova can be quite fidgety and never want to sit down. She always has to be doing something and on the move. Nova is one of the more creative people in her Flock with a mind that never stops working. She is rather cunning and resourceful and can always have a plan to get out of the toughest situations. Nova is fiercely loyal to her family and will do anything to save them, even risk her own life. Family is above everything for her and without family, she would be lost and wouldn’t know what to do. Her story isn’t much. She escaped when she was about 13 years old. In the outside world, she knew nothing. She was lost scared and just couldn’t think of the future without thinking of her imminent death. One say, she stumbled upon Mira and Luke. It took Nova a while to adjust but in due time, she was laughing her butt off along with her new siblings. They were her best friends and she would do anything for them. Anything at all. She considers Mira and Luke like friends and family and the three are almost inseparable. Nova has what is called a “Siren Song” meaning she uses the power of her voice to lure enemies in and the spell she casts on them is unbreakable. While not using it, her voice is echoey and angel-like but she hides it extremely well. Although she can sing for long periods of time, it does rather tire her. She has been getting better at using her power but it’s still not perfect. She uses this when her family is being attacked and in need of aid and this happens quite often. Her recovery time takes from 30 minutes to a day but she hides her fatigue very well. Nova had to use this power on her siblings when she arrived and they are unaffected by it but newcomers still have to get used to it. Even if she talks with her siren voice, the newcomers fall for her spell and it takes a long time to be set free.

Ducky quickly ducked away and found a nice cozy hiding place some shrubs. He hoped Sunny would just walk pass him like he was a log or something.
Jib didnt say anything but her sharp green eyes scanned Mira carefully, she quickly picked up the fact Mira had wings. But Jib had to be careful. This girl could turn and send her back to the school. Jibs gaze then shifted to the open cabin door. She could heard young children playing outside. "W-where am I?" Jib finally spoke.

"20!" Sunny called, uncovering her eyes and turning around. "Ready or not, here I come!" She began to walk, eyes and ears perks for any signs of where Ducky could be hiding. "Hmm, where did he go?" she asked, peering behind a rather large tree as she searched.
"In a cabin outside Westwood," Mira replied, though she doubted the mysterious girl would know what they meant. "It's far away from any people, so no one really ever comes by here. It's safe," she assured with a small smile. "My name is Mira. What's yours?" She felt the need to reintroduce herself now that the girl was more lucid, getting down on her knees beside the couch so she wasn't standing over her.

Ducky stood as still as he could his white wings quivered with the tension. Sunny was close but he had picked a pretty good hiding spot.
Jib really had no idea what Westwood was but this place did seem safe. It did take Jib almost 2 days to walk here so it was very far away to any place that would want to hurt her. "Im Jib." Jib said softly finally relaxing but yet on edge. Ready to fight if Mira would attack. Jib glanced down at her arm, it was well bandaged and felt a world better. "Umm, thank you for helping me."
