(Thank you! How should I throw him in? Should he just kind of stumble onto the flock or should the flock somehow save him?)
≫ | Danny (Don) Sweets | 19 | male | Human | Danny is a rather short young man which thick flaming red hair he keeps slicked back, chocolate brown eye, and a dash of freckles across his pale face. He tends to wear a simple white t-shirt with a dark green button up shirt over it, jeans and a set of simple off brand shoes. His left ear is pierced. Danny is a very caring and will help anything in need, from a baby bird to homeless people. But he can be a bit to caring almost annoying. Danny has lived in the small town near the flocks cabin his whole life, he knows every inch of his town and he thought he knew the forest pretty well. He still lives with his parents (Lance and Mary Sweets) and his younger sister Anna. (Fuzzymask)

≫ | Aisling | 19 | Female | Red tailed hawk (dark morph) | Aisling stands at about 5'11, being the average height for a young lady her age. She has a Gaelic accent and will sometimes speak a few words in her native tongue. She has fairly tan skin from being out in the sun for long periods of time, but that only makes her fading scars stand out more. As far as her scars go she has a few on her arms and legs as well as a smaller one going across her right eye. The most noticeable scar she has is the one going across her chest from the left to the right side of her body from when she was attacked by an Eraser a few years back. Aisling has dark stormy blue eyes that almost seem to glow with a cold fire when she is angry, which is not very often surprisingly. She has long (stops at her knees) honey brown hair with what look like golden streaks but is just her natural highlights. She normally has her hair pulled back in a messy ponytail to shorten the length of her hair, but on occasion she will do something nice with it. For the most part it has a wind swept look about it being that messy when not brushed. As far as clothing goes she tends to stick with darker colors to help hide in the shadows of the forest, mainly sticking to her V-neck tee, black hoodie, sturdy black cargo pants, and combat boots. Aisling, despite her dark presence, is fairly sweet and kind when she isn't trying to run for her life or fight for it. Sometimes her kindness can get her in trouble, this is how she ended up with most of her scars on her legs and arms. When she was younger she was moved to many different Schools till she was about 10 where she stayed in one particular School in her home land, Ireland, for a while. She was lucky to meet one particularly nice scientist who took to her like a daughter and taught her how to survive and how to fight. Eventually the scientist and Aisling were caught and the young hybrid was punished for the actions of the adult, this is where she got the scar over her eye. A few years later she managed to escape when there was a sudden fire in the School, but being a kind little 13 year old she wanted to help as many others escape as possible. She was one of the last few to manage to get out before the School was put on lockdown. Erasers were sent to recapture the hybrids that got out, but they only managed to get a few back the rest were either killed or they got away safely. In Aisling's case she fought for her life till she took a strike to the chest and was left for dead. Someone was wandering the area near the School she fled from when they found a dying child and took her in. Aisling recovered thanks to this stranger and fled when they found out she was a hybrid and tried to take her back to the School. She has been on the run ever since and doesn't trust very easily due to her past. She is a good fighter when it comes to melee or close combat, but is still hesitant about hurting anyone. As a side note Aisling likes to spend most of her time sitting high up in trees or carve flutes out of animal bone and straight branches to play when she thinks she is alone. She also likes to sing in her down time when alone as well, and is very good too. (Shadowbringer)
(I hope this is okay)

(Okie doke, I'm gonna try to reply now, but since it's been a while since Silversea and Pepper replied I may be a bit frozen atm. Venom 𝐸𝓁𝑜𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉𝒟𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓂𝑒𝓇 are you guys still around? o: My other thought was that I might add one more bird kid and have them also be separate from the group, maybe someone who's been on their own for a while and meets up with Aisling for the first time apart from the Flock if that's okay with you?
Edit: silversea is on break rn for Christmas so I'm inclined to wait for them to reply before I unfreeze Luke and Sunny.)

(Hello all, I've been working all afternoon on the new RP layout if you want to check it out! I've also included a revamped joining form which includes some key character personality traits since the long descriptions will now be under spoilers so it doesn't take up as much space. If you can give me three key personality traits for each of your characters that would be great! Otherwise I can pull them from your character descriptions if you'd rather have me do it! I'll be writing out my new character's description soon, he won't be a part of the Flock yet.)» Parker «
» 20 | Male | North American Bunting « » Quiet, Distant, Street-Smart «
Parker is a thick-set man, standing at 5'11 when he strands straight up. He has thick, long blond hair that he usually keeps tied in a low ponytail, braid, or even a bun on occassion. When he does wear it down, it tends to annoy him, though he doesn't typically bother cutting it either. He has dark brown eyes set into a tall, angular face. He doesn't care much for clothes, and tends to wear whatever he can get his hands on that generally fit. Because of this, he tends to wear too-long pants and ill-fitting shoes, as there isn't much else for him to find, nor does he really know how to buy clothes that fit well. His wings are nearly twelve feet long when fully extended, and his feathers are a bright blue color with green and yellow tones underneath. Parker is quiet and generally standoffish, preferring his own company over a large crowd. His upbringing in the School has made him very distrusting and distant with others, even his fellow hybrids, and will typically deny any attempt from someone else to get close to him. However, there's a part of him that does still care and sympathize with other bird kids, and he tends to have a soft spot for those who are fresh out of the Schools. Although he'll never admit to caring for them, he's inclined to help out those he meets along the way, hybrid or not, but he has no interest in joining up with the Flock despite currently being near them. Unlike the Flock, Parker prefers to hide in plain sight, figuring that it wouldbe harder to find him if he pretended to be a regular person. As such, he hides his wings under coats or sweatshirts most of the time and makes somewhat of a living doing odd jobs around different towns he travels to. He never goes to the same place twice, and once he's been in one town for long enough, he moves on to the next. He has the ability to stick to many surfaces, such as glass, brick, and wood. He cannot stick to slippery surfaces, but his ability to stick is strong enough to support around four hundred pounds before he can no longer hold himself up. Parker, like many other hybrids, was raised in a School far away from Westwood. At eighteen, he managed to escape by climbing up a wall and into an air vent during a training exercise. Once he was out, he flew as far as he could away from the School and has been hopping city to city ever since.

Parker lounged in the high branches of a tree at the edge of the Westwood forest, hands resting idly on his stomach as his wings hung down below. It wasn't often that he had a chance to just let them out in the open, especially considering how bright and colorful they were, and he was always thankful for the chance to get them out from under his stuffy coats and sweatshirts. Luckily, it was cold outside, and very few people questioned the fact that he never went without something to cover himself with. He sighed softly, running a hand through his long blond hair, and sat up, pulling a rubber band from his wrist and pulling his hair back into a low ponytail. He'd been in Westwood for about a week now, going place to place and doing odd repair or delivery jobs so he could afford to buy food and maybe a new pair of shoes, if he could squirrel enough cash away. It wouldn't be long before he'd be moving on once more; it was never a good idea to stay in the same place for too long, lest he risk someone coming to find him and discovering his secret. it had only happened once more, right after he'd escaped the School, and he tried not to think about it too often. It was best not to risk it.

Aisling was out walking through the woods, trying to practice some of her fighting skills she had learned while in the School back in Ireland. She wanted to keep herself on her toes and always prepared for when someone might attack. She stopped and punched a tree a few times. The rough bark caught her off guard a little as her hands were scrapped up a bit now. "Well, that was not a smooth tree like it seemed." She muttered to herself as she kicked it and moved on. She looked around before she spread her dark colored wings out to stretch. It had been a while since she could properly stretch her wings out without another person being close by.

(I figured an intro with Danny would be good to do once the card game is over, since most of the Flock is there atm. Maybe he can run into Mira and Kellen later, if pepper comes back online!)
Parker tensed when he heard someone nearby, feeling a flash of panic for a moment. He had his sweatshirt tied around his waist, but it wouldn't matter if someone spotted his wings before he could hide them. He pushed himself into a crouched position on the thick branch, peering down through the leaves to see who it was that was approaching him. He untied the sweatshirt from around his waist and pulled it quickly over his head, then proceeded to carefully and quietly climb down from the tree, intending to keep absolutely quiet until he could see who it was that was approaching him. If it was a human, or worse, an Eraser, he'd need to remain undetected if possible.

Aisling let the cool breeze from the woods surround her wings, unaware of someone else in the forest nearby. She closed her eyes for a blissful second before she furled her wings back in, her guard back up. She did a quick scan around her and smirked to herself as she dashed nearly silently to a tree and jumped to the lowest hanging branch. She pulled herself up with ease and climbed the tree to a branch that looked like it could hold her easily. I haven't felt this free in a long time. She thought to herself as she got settled on the branch. Aisling lowered her hoodie so it wasn't on her shoulders, but loosely hanging around her arms showing off some of her scars and a bit of her wings. Her guard was still up even if she did look relaxed.

Parker crept toward where he'd heard the noise, slightly anxious to hear that it had gone silent. It wasn't until he spotted the girl climbing up into a tree that he was finally able to relax a little. She wasn't an Eraser, so that much was good to see at least, but that just brought up more questions. He frowned; who was she, and what was she doing way out here, in the middle of nowhere, by herself? As far as he knew, no one really came into the woods except for adventurous kids and the occassional bratty teenager, but they rarely strayed too far from their homes, and they were easily avoided. This girl didn't seem to fit into either category. It wasn't until he spotted the beginnings of wings sprouting from her shoulder as she slipped off her jacket that he realized exactly what was going on. He sucked in a sharp breath, shocked. He hadn't seen another hybrid like himself since before he'd escaped from the School, and that school was hundreds of miles away. Had she come from there, too? Or was she from somewhere else, somewhere nearby. If she was, then he'd need to move on. He took a step back, flinching when he heard the telltale snap of a dry tree branch under his dirty, beat-up sneaker. Well, so much for staying hidden...

Aisling pulled her jacket up around her shoulders quickly when she heard the snap and grabbed the nearest thing she could that would work as a weapon, which happened to be a tree branch. She crouched on the branch she was on and looked for the source of the noise. It took a second for her to spot the stranger among the shadows of the trees, but she narrowed her eyes when she locked sight on to him. What was a human doing this far out in the woods? Questions ran through her head as she thought he might be hunting her or something so she stayed silent.

Parker mentally cursed himself over his carelessness, his first impulse to turn and run as soon as he was spotted, but he remained rooted to the spot. He raised an eyebrow as she lifted the tree branch defensively. Did she think such a weapon would work on him? Then again, he did look like a regular human to her. This was going to be tricky. He slowly lifted his hands in surrender, preferring not to fight if he didn't have to. "You startled me," he said, voice relatively deadpan. "It's pretty uncommon to find someone else this far into the woods by themselves. Especially someone like you." His eyes flicked briefly to her now-covered shoulders where he was sure he'd spotted feathers just a few moments before, then turned his gaze back to her. "Where are you from?" If she came from nearby, then that would seal the deal, and he'd be gone by morning. He'd find another town, it was easy. Still, he was definitely curious about her. He didn't recognize her from his School, but he hadn't paid much attention to the other experiments either.

Aisling kept her gaze cold and narrowed on the stranger. She saw his eyes flick to her shoulder and she snarled a little at him. "No where you would ever want to be." She replied in a cold voice, her Gaelic accent present as she spoke. She kept her distance from him in case he was indeed out to hurt her, stick in hand. It wasn't the best weapon in the world, but it would have to work if it came down to a fight. She wasn't taking any chances, there was no way she was ever going back to the School. "I don't know what you saw just now, but say a word to anyone and you are roadkill." She growled.
