Ok y'all, I've watched a good handful of the currently airing anime and I gotta recommend Oshi No Ko!!! Don't look into it, go in blind, it's totally worth it. I'm so incredibly invested, and the first episode is like an hour and twenty minutes. There are a few others that caught my eye, but none more than this one haha

IT IS. It is hands down very weird. The ending felt very rushed as well. Like ... it's clear the relationship isn't going well and it's just 'OH DEAR! I SUDDENLY NOW saw why I was wrong and you were RIGHT!'
Like no lady, he was still fully wrong but it's clear he wasn't interested in you. So, like, just???
But ah well. :/

It sucks when a series is rushed, totally messes with all the effort put into it. Especially if the source material had a proper ending. Tho sometimes things are just written that way and I can't really blame the creator cause endings are hard akjfalkdjfa

I can get why you'd stop watching tho if you have certain sensibilities. While I agree that anime 100% has issues with its treatment of women, minorities, and underage characters I would never go so far as to say it ruins the whole pot. I can get why you'd stop watching tho if you have certain sensibilities. It's too bad, since a lot of anime are normal, but not much anyone can do if you've been ruined by the unfavorable bits lol I hope you can find media to interact with that's better fitted to you. I ended up making a separate post about this (which went *wonderfully* for me lol XP) so I'm deleting the post above. While I still stand by some of the more agreeable posts I've decided to be more open minded since then. Thanks for your wisdom though. (: |

Oshi no Ko is wild! I can't wait to see more of it! I need to watch the most recent episode. The first one was so strong, even if all the others suck I can say it's had the strongest first episode I've ever seen lakdjfalakdjflakjdf

For a brief episode in the anime, it looked they they were setting up the MC to be paired with someone completely different, with logical set-up but ... nah. |

omg yeah i am so into it that i had to read the manga because im sooo invested now. i love animes that kinda have that crazy death note mystery element, so if u know any shows similar to death note plsss recommend me stuff
i'm on a death note brainrot as of late because i recently rewatched the dub AND i met the dub cast of death note two weeks ago , so that doesnt help

Ooo you might like Yuukoku no Moriarty or Dead Mount Death Play :0 One has the 'two smart characters playing against each other' mystery vibe and the other has the death game vibe. You could also watch Platinum End, since it was written by the same person. Tho I've not seen it myself so I can't vouch for it akljdflakdjf I've also not seen Umineko: When They Cry, but I've heard good things about it! It has the mystery, psychological vibes.

One Piece will put out a movie with an insane soundtrack and the fans will say it's worst because half the movie is one of the characters singing alkdjfalkdjf Fools, they don't appreciate a banging song smh. Jokes aside, I rewatched Film Red and the music never gets old, Ado is sooo skilled.
Been on a bit of a OP film binge as of late. The main series is moving at a snails pace to I have to get actual closure through the movies lmao
Anyone watch something lately that you really enjoyed?

Hey, it's me again. I've still given up on keeping up with seasonal anime; the last show I actually finished was the original Trigun, which I enjoyed very much. In other news, I've started actually writing and posting that Warriors AU JJBA fanfic that I mentioned wanting to write in here forever ago. Would anyone in this thread be interested?

I started Jigokuraku/Hell's Paradise on recommendation from a friend. It's quite edgy, but the concept reminds me of one of my favorite books/movies, Annihilation.

I've been meaning to start watching a few more seasonal anime and I've had the time lately! Just started watching The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today and it's so cute! Very good slice of life/feel good anime if anyone needs one.
Dark Gathering is a horror anime, and it's surprisingly decent :0 I personally don't find a lot of horror anime actually good so I was impressed. Oh, and I had put off watching Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts because of was afraid it was gonna be one of ThoseTM stories, but it's also very good!
