Ah, so this is where the fandom threads are. I was looking for a thread like this. I basically only watch anime lol My current favorite is JoJo, but I'm also currently enjoying watching Cowboy Bebop and Hunter x Hunter. Some of my other favorites are Yuri!!! On Ice, Carole & Tuesday, and Aggretsuko. I used to be a huge fan of Free!, but now I look back on it with... mixed feelings. Nice, I just finished watching JoJo in December and I have no idea why I hadn't watched it earlier. I'm a little sad that I've finished all the current seasons, but that's just how it goes, right? Which part did you enjoy the most? For me, it was probably part 4. Kira was a pretty good villain, I must say. I liked the way that the pace, art, and story telling changes from part to part, too. Makes you feel like you're watching a different show at the beginning of each part. I've been meaning to watch Cowboy Bebop and HxH, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I've heard they're both pretty good and the art style in Cowboy Bebop looks pretty interesting. Reminds me a bit of Samurai Champloo, but maybe that's just my imagination. Have you ever watched Sword of the Stranger? I'm not sure if you'd like it, but I'd recommend checking it out. It's a pretty good movie.

Welcome Petalshine :3 I seriously love HxH! And looking back on Free with mixed feelings is such a mood haha. Have you seen the abridged version 50% Off on Youtube?
@/snow Hey! I'm trying to keep up with the anime, cause I know I'll never get to them otherwise haha. What dramas have you been watching? Well, I've recently been into dramas revolving around time travel for some reason. On Netflix, I finished "Tunnel" in December and just finished "Live up to your Name". They're both really good and made me tear up a bit in spots. ;n; Tunnel revolves around a detective who is trying to solve a string of murders in his town, believeing them to be the work of a single person. He then finds himself transported to the future, where he recognizes the marks of this killer and has to solve this case before another murder is committed, all while trying to figure out a way back home to his family. Live up to your Name, I suppose, would be classified as a medical drama. The paths of a cardiothoracic surgeon from Seoul and a doctor from Joseon era Korea cross paths and they have to figure out what brought them together and why. Also, have any of you watched the korean drama Kingdom? That's probably one of my favorite dramas at the moment and I would highly recommend it. I hope they make a second season! Official description: "While strange rumors about their ill king grip a kingdom, the crown prince becomes their only hope against a mysterious plague overtaking the land." I'm currently watching "Crash Landing on You". It revolves around the divide between North and South Korea. Would definitely recommend at least checking it out. Edit: Just realized there are some shows with similar or even the same titles. If you're interested in watching these, they're Korean and are available on Netflix.

The parts I enjoyed watching the most were 2 and 5, even though the big bads of each were outshone by the secondary villains. Just give me wild rides with cool characters. Kira is one of the best villains, but I thought Part 4 took too long to get to the main plot and had too much filler even when it did. I also like how it's like a new series each part. It keeps things fresh and makes the long series easier to digest.

Part 2 was pretty good, I like Joseph's sense of humor and the way he used his quick thinking to get an advantage over his opponents and win the battle. I personally felt a bit confused at the beginning of part 3 and wasn't sure that I would like the addition of stands. It was very sudden and left me wondering, "whatever happened to hamon?" I really missed young Joseph when I was watching part 3. If only that one episode with the stand that made people younger had affected Joseph. Then, Jotaro could've seen how cool his grandpa was back in his heyday. Alas, a missed opportunity. ( อกยฐ อส อกยฐ) We all know who the true star of part 3 was. Also, have you ever seen the movie "Duel"? The episode with the car stand who chased them really reminded me of that movie. Part 4 did have a lot of filler and was slow to progress. However, it was a nice change of pace from part 3, where they were constantly engaged in battles and traveling the world. I loved the introductions to the episode with the radio and how they changed between Kira's perspective and that of Jojo and the gang. The change in art style from parts 1-3 and 4/5 were pretty drastic, but I felt they fit their respective stories pretty well. I'm a little sad they never really explained the connection between Josuke and his hero, who inspired his hairstyle. I had thought it was possibly him saving himself, but who knows. I really enjoyed part 5 as well, the characters were fun, the music was good, and the story had a nice pace. Although I feel a little bad for the team that they took out while protecting the boss. I mean, they essentially ended up both having the same goal and could have worked together, you know? Smh. That team had some cool stands that I would've liked to see more of, too. Ah well. I also like how throughout the story, you see the how the main characters' morals and ethics change. Jonathon and Dio were essentially good vs. evil, where it's not necessarily so black and white with characters like Joseph, Josuke, or Giorno. They each had their own circumstances, background, and motivations which drove them forward. Also interesting with Giorno being the son of you-know-who, you might be inclined to think at first that he'll take after that guy, but it becomes clear pretty quickly that he's not the same. I wonder if he's actually Dio's son or Jonathon's? I mean, those weren't exactly normal circumstances.

Rewatched Land of the Lustrous. Anyone know if a new season is coming out? I have not heard anything about that. But it's a beautiful show. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into the manga because so many characters look the same without hair color.

"Throughout history, humans have been at odds with Beastmenโa species capable of changing shape due to their genetic "Beast Factor." Because of this conflict, Beastmen have been forced into hiding. Anima City serves as a safe haven for these oppressed individuals to live free from human interference.
During a festival celebrating the town's 10th anniversary, Michiru Kagemori, a human who suddenly turned into a tanuki, finds that Anima City is a far cry from paradise. After witnessing an explosion in the square, she is confronted by Shirou Ogami, a seemingly indestructible wolf and sworn protector of all Beastmen. As they pursue the criminals behind the bombing, the two discover that Michiru is anything but an ordinary Beastman, and look to investigate her mysterious past and uncanny abilities. Could she turn out to be the missing link between Humans and Beastmen?"
It's animated by Trigger and the aesthetic is really nice. I LOVE the colors and both the OP and ED are super fun ^^ Trigger is basically known for fun twists, and I won't spoil anything but it's been living up to the hype!
