Phil!! I can't wait to see him grown up later in the story. He will accomplish great things. I'm sure of it. However, I also have a prediction that Phil won't survive the entire manga - not because he's incapable, but because he'll follow in Norman's footsteps or something and actually give up his life for his loved ones. Maybe for when the Grace Field + other farms are planning their escape. That makes sense! Though I will be sad if he does. The boy deserves to survive and be happy. |

I really liked YOI because it didn't make their romantic relationship the main focus of the anime. It may be over hyped in some ways, but it took a lot of steps to normalizing LGBT+ relationships. With a lot of shounen-ai and shoujo-ai anime the main focus is the relationship, and more times than not the relationship is really not all that healthy lol So I just can't get over how well YOI was done haha It got rid of a lot of factors that fujoshi and people who fetishize gay relationships fall over themselves on. Sorry for the mini rant, but I just really appreciate the show sm

Oh, YOI is amazing. As a figure skater myself, I've been looking forwards to that show ever since the trailer. And then I watched the anime four times. And I cannot wait for the movie to come out. (And a potential second season?? I think my day has just been made.)
I just started watching Shield Hero, and I'd recommend that too. It's really cute, is all I have to say about it for now. Once I see more of it I'll share some more thoughts.
Anyone reading the Noragami manga? How do you guys feel about the newest chapter?

Much agreed. It's really cute, so far at least. I'm on the second episode now. The protagonists of isekai anime have always been a little cringey to me (my sample size is Re:Zero and Shield Hero so I guess I don't have much to go off of, but ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ whatever right?), but it's a super fun show otherwise.
There's a lot on my to-watch list. I've been meaning to finish Hunter x Hunter sometime. I stopped right at the start of the Chimera Ant arc, and I hear that's when things get really interesting. I also only made it partway through Texhnolyze. I plan to dedicate a free afternoon to watching FLCL when I can. What are others planning to watch in the future? We could do a group stream, if we want to watch the same shows and coordinate times to log on.
