The fact that Kirishima bought Kacchan a matching suit is amazing. Kiribaku said gay rights lol I think pretty much every part with Todoroki and Kacchan were my favorite lol. The animation was so good!!! And the fight scenes were awesome!!! I was uwuing at the animation and art style the entire time >.< What was your favorite part??? I have to admit, that was such a KiriBaku moment and it was so cute! I also really liked the interactions between Bakugou and Todoroki, and how they had to work together to fight the villains even though they don't like each other. I liked the introduction of David Shield, and that one flashback at the beginning where he and All Might were together. I'm not surprised that the movie didn't go too much into their relationship (since I heard somewhere that All Might was canonically bi and dated David Shield at one point? If that's actually true???) But I still liked their interactions nonetheless. Were you surprised when David turned out to be the one behind the whole incident? |

Kind of makes me wonder what the story would have been like if Deku wasn't given a quirk at all.
Even if it was more in the background, having that LGBT+ rep in anime would be really nice. Rather than dropping it into it's own genre like Shounen ai or Shoujo ai, I think it would be better to start taking steps in normalizing it in all genres. If only ^^; Though in the case of BNHA, I'd still like some rep but not have romance be the forefront of the show. At least, I would really appreciate it if they didn't shove Uraraka's crush on Deku in your face. |

I agree! I don't like that her only personality trait is slowly becoming her crush on Deku. She deserves better! I think that normalizing it in all genres will be better for LGBT+ people as well. You get a lot of people who fetishize the relationships and it's gross to see. I'd like to see them just become a normal thing. I can probably put this out of spoiler, but eh either way lol |
