Yeah! I like the art style they went for. It's different from the manga, but looks wayy better.

Looking up the manga, I have to agree. The manga's art style looks more cartoonish, so after seeing the new style it looks like a big improvement.

You can still tell it's based on an older manga by some of the design choices, which is a good throwback. But I have to agree, the improvement is huge and I much prefer it.

I haven't read the manga myself other than looking at it for comparison ^^; But I have heard that the anime is moving faster. Some people say the pace is better while others disagree, but you always get that haha

I stray away from older manga/anime to tbh. Have you seen Black Jack and/or Young Black Jack? It was done by Osamu Tezuka. He also wrote Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion. A lot of classics XD
