I messed up on the Tiny Paws assignment because instead of Adderbite as a kit, I did her as a young apprentice. You don’t have to count this but I still wanted to post it.
“Adderpaw!” Boomed a stern voice, a pale brown tom with ragged fur was grabbing a feisty red apprentice by the whiskers. He was dragging her bitterly towards the leader den, grumbling and twitching slightly. The apprentice kept pawing at his muzzle, “Come on, Pale, it was just some algae!” The tom stopped and hit her over the head with his tail, “It’s Pale-THRUSH!” “Dude chill-“ “I don’t understand how you can possibly be the kit of such a well mannered cat like Treeshade! But no! You’re nothing but your father!” Adderpaw stuck out her tongue as she freed herself from the warrior “Is there something wrong with my dad?” Palethrush’s fur bristled with annoyance, “It’s a miracle that rowdy tom found his way into my sister’s heart. But even he can control himself and not STUFF MY MOUSE WITH ALGAE!” “Can you at least admit it was clever-“ “NO!” Adderpaw was about to comment on Palethrush’s boiling rage when a tall red tom with a large black apprentice came by. “Oh my, heheh What’s my daughter done now?” Palethrush’s fur flattened but he was still twitching in the eye, “She put algae in my mouse.” The tom wrinkled his nose as he caught the stench of it in Palethrush’s breath, “She did.” He gave a brow raised to Adderpaw who looked at him dead in the eye with a cheery smile. “Adderpaw.....why didn’t you put it in a fish, instead? Doesn’t it make more sense-“ “DONT ENCOURAGE THIS!” Adderpaw purred, “Old Palethrush hates fish, so I put it in a mouse.” “I see.” The red tom nodded. “Redfur.” Palethrush said tiredly, his exhausted state made Redfur sigh. Adderpaw looked at the large black cat beside her father, she gave a cheeky grin. The apprentice lifted his brows but still gave a small smile. “Adderpaw.” Redfur looked down at his daughter, Palethrush still glaring at her as well. “You can’t keep doing this. Some cats don’t know how to take a joke-“ Palethrush gave a low growl, Redfur sighed and continued as he lowered his head down to her. “There’s nothing wrong with having fun and messing around, but you’re an apprentice...you can’t keep this childish act up.” Adderpaw’s grin faded into a frown as she looked at her paws, saying nothing. “Treeshade wouldn’t want you to be held back from being a warrior for harmless pranks and....” Redfur grew silent at the mention of his mate. Palethrush grew aloof as well as the wounds were still fresh. Adderpaw knew her father wasn’t one to use her mother’s disappearance against her but she knew Redfur let it slip out. Seeing the glaze in her father’s eyes, she took a breath, “Fine...Sorry Palethrush....” The pale tom gave a small nod, his rage now replaced with a tired sigh, “Just...mature, please.” He walked away into the warriors den. Adderpaw looked up at her father who was still silent, “Dad-“ She was interrupted by a nuzzle from him, “Everything is different now, sweetie...you don’t have to change who you are but...for your mother’s sake, just prank your brother. Give him a back bone, ya know.” Adderpaw gave a sad chuckle as she eyed the medicine den where she saw her brother having his typical mini heart attack as he spoke to a pretty brown she-cat. “I’ll see what I can do.” Redfur chuckled and pawed his daughter’s face before he looked at the black cat who was awkwardly looking to the side. “See ya Crowpaw, it was nice talkin’ with you.” The warrior then left the two apprentices alone. Adderpaw looked at the large tom, “Crowpaw? You’re like the size of a warrior!” Her mood seemed to have lifted well. The tom shuffled his paws and straightened himself up, before he could open his mouth, Adderpaw spoke. “Your eyes are really orange too. Do cats ever tell you that?” “Well-“ “Also I didn’t know my dad had an apprentice-“ “He’s not-“ “Better him than Crowface, that dude gives me the creeps.” “...” Crowpaw stared at the she-cat with widened eyes as she finally stopped talking. After realizing she was waited for him to say something, he spoke, “I was patrolling with your dad actually. We were finishing up a conversation and then...this happened.” He looked over at the salty Palethrush who was tossing out a mouse. He looked back at the yellow eyed cat, “So...Adderpaw, is it?” “Yeah, my brother is Ratpaw. He’s the medicine cat apprentice but he faints at the sight of blood so let’s see how long that’ll last.” Crowpaw gave a small chuckle, “Right...” “Do you have any siblings?” “Mmh?” “Ya know, brothers? Sisters?” “Ah-yes. Ravenpaw is my brother-“ “Oh he does not like me.” Adderpaw shook her head. “Why-wait were you the one who put a spider in his nest?” Crowpaw’s orange eyes widened. “IN my defense! I didn’t expect it to go into his mouth-besides, it wasn’t venomous or anything. I mean when I’m leader, he’s going to have to respect me one way or another.” Adderpaw shrugged, “Did you managed to catch anything on the patrol?” She suddenly asked. “I caught a sparrow.” Crowpaw said with a shrug. “Cool! I’m starving, wanna share it?” Adderpaw didn’t let the apprentice answer as she bounded off to the pile. Crowpaw gave a small smile and tilted his head, this cat just made no sense to him. He knew of her mother’s disappearance thanks to a twoleg, he wondered how the spunky apprentice was really feeling. But he didn’t want to bring it up as he felt it was shatter her chipper mood. He remembered seeing the light in her yellow eyes dim as Treeshade was mentioned. He sat down as she returned to him, he chuckled as he saw her look at Ravenpaw who gave her a scowl. Starclan forbid she one day carries the suffix, -star. What mayhem would she create?

Aaaand Here is the next entry! Tiny Pawsteps:
The first thing that Foxkit knew that day was the rasp of a tongue against his back, waking him from a dream. An angry but weak mew next to him made his ears twitch and he lifted his head with a yawn, blinking open intense orange eyes only to close them abruptly. The overwhelming color and sound was a bit too much for the tiny tom and his ears flattened in response. Another weak mew and a deep chuckle alerted the tom that he wasn’t alone. Taking the plunge, the tiny tom opened his eyes slowly, allowing him to adjust and his world exploded with color and shapes. The first thing that he saw was his mother’s soft pelt in front of him and he struggled to his paws. “Easy there son, you almost ran over your sister.” Shadowfang rumbled out and the little kit blinked. He did? Glancing down to his side, he stepped back at how close he was to Greykit. Feeling the tongue rasp over his head again, he glanced up only to blink at Redrose’s warm smile. “Why don’t you go out to play little one? It seems like Greykit is tired today as well.” She told him quietly and with a nudge, Foxkit was sent out of the nest with a tumble. Foxkit let out a squeak and let out a small huff, scrambling to his paws after a moment. “I hope you feel better Greykit! I wanna teach you how to play Moss Ball!” he called out, not waiting for a response before he ran out of the den. The camp seemed so big to him and it sent a thrill of excitement through him as he paused in the entryway of the Nursery, his fluffy orange and white fur rising with excitement. This was his clan and this was his life. He couldn’t wait to be a warrior one day! Vibrating with excitement, Foxkit pounced forward on a stray leaf, not noticing the dark looks that a mottled black and ginger she cat gave him nor did he notice the way his father emerged from the den, glaring down the warrior until she left. “Daddy! Come play with me!” he called out, glancing back to see his father giving him a loving smile. “Sure son, toss it over to me!”

Rose heart was sunning herself on the sunny rocks in Starclan. She licked her paw well she was watching over her still living mate, Redfang. She was sad that her mate is still not talking to any other cats. Greypool was sincere enough to talk to him, even though he was complacent.” My love,” she whispered to herself
When roseheart was sunning a smell of cat mint drifted by her. She didn’t take it as an omen, but a reminder. The day she fell for redfang.
It was a chilly morning in the beginning of leaffall, and was like that for a quarter moon. But what was weird is what roseheart is about to experience, love. She was in the medicine cat den still slowly moving to the warriors den.” Lakesong, pick up that catmint you dropped.” She scolded. Lakesong replied.” I can’t I have to go see Foxstar.” Roseheart glared but the cat just walked out.” Fine, I’ll do it myself.” She muttered angrily. She went to pickup the mouth watering catmint. She was to focused on not eating it that when redfang appeared she fluffed up her tail, yowled in surprise and dropped the catmint.” What Do you need.” She growled licking her tail so the fur lay flat again. Redfang looked at her. He had a tiny crush on the She-cat.” I um, stepped in a thorn bush.” He finally said a bit embarrassed. Roseheart rolled her eyes.” Couldn’t keep away from them, ‘eh” She joked.” Come here, I’ll get you some...” She couldn’t finish. Redfang interrupted.” Catmint?” He joked back. Roseheart suppressed a giggle.” Hardy har har.” She replied.” No, marigold.” She finally muttered.
When she was finished she had a funny conversation with the cat. He left her happy, she liked it. The next couple sunrises she was on a break, it was finally warm. She was hanging out with Redfang because he hurt his paw and he can’t hunt. She was strolling around camp noticing a bunch Of Toms and she cats sharing tongues. She envied the love. Then, there the perfect tom was walking towards her it was Redfang. It hit her she liked him that’s why she decided to talk to him even though he hasn’t got much to say. She enjoyed his company. She felt butterflies in her stomach, there was no herb for it, she finally knew she loved him. When he arrived they talked for a while until Redfang said he liked her. She said she loved him.
She woke up.

Journey of Stars Lightningstar fluffed up his fur and grumbled irritably. Where was that lazy crow food? Probably ambling up the mountain while Lightningstar froze his butt off. He was tempted to start back down, when a figure appeared against the darkened night sky. Finally. "Where were you?" He demanded. Stormstar's broad shoulder rose and fell in a shrug. "Here, there." More shadowed figures approached behind his brother. Lightningstar's eyes gleamed. It was time. "And here, I though you'd run away with your tail between your legs." He sneered darkly. "Oh? Winning through default? It would be just like you to want to take the easy way out, brother." Stormstar spat back. The two stared at each other for a long time, their respective clans behind them. The tension in the air was palpable. The cold wind bit into each cat's pelt, but not a single one moved. They stood waiting until, finally, it happened. CRACK The first lightning strike of the first storm of the season. With a roar, Lightningstar launched himself at Stormstar. The two clans lunged and became locked in brutal fighting.
A wide ring had been left open for the two leaders to engage in battle. No cat dared interfere, instead they had to be content with sinking their claws into the other clan cat's flesh. The stench of blood flooded the battlefield and red stained the snow covered mountain side, trickling down and leaving a trail. When the leaders broke apart once more, both were panting heavily. Stormstar limped as he circled his brother. Lightningstar winced and ignored the pain in his side from a heavy gash. He would win. He was always meant to rule the whole forest. And he'd prove that tonight. Of course, both leaders kept count of their battles. Both knew that this was their last chance to show they deserved this. Neither had left anything behind. With a grunt of effort, Stormstar pushed off the ground and slammed into Lightningstar with everything they had. Vicious snarls erupted from the two as they aimed for the killing blow.
All fighting stopped and silence fell over the field. The cats stared at their fallen leaders, holding their breath, waiting for one to stand victorious. Neither did. Neither moved and their blood spilled out of them and melted the snow underneath their bodies. What did that mean? Was all the fighting for nothing? With a final crack of lightning overhead, the storm slowly subsided to reveal a starpelt brighter than any had seen before. Slowly, the spirits of the ancestors descended.
One spoke with authority. "What have we learned here?" His deep voice resonated and his gaze cut through the gathered cats. "Neither clan is correct. Neither was meant to rule alone. Stormclan. Lightningclan. One cannot be without the other. Remember the outcome of this battle and realize that, to go to war again, will lead to total destruction." Without another word, they disappeared and a cold breeze ruffled every cat's fur in the same direction, back down the mountain. Towards home. Wordlessly, each clan gathered their leader's lifeless body and headed back down. There was no jeers or snarky comments like every other battle. Instead, there was silence. Above them, the storm began once more. It washed the red off their pelts and the mountainside. bit happier with this one, but still meh in my opinion .-. all well. here it is. lol

Traditions are as Deep as Roots Lightning storms bring destruction as well as good tidings for Lightningclan. To prove that they will be together through both, cats who declare themselves mates will sit outside in the territory on the first lightning storm that occurs after their declaration, unless the storm is deemed too dangerous to be away from camp for. Once the ordeal is over, the pair will hunt together and then return to camp and share their catch.

Second to last entry! Traditions Are as Deep as Roots:
Every elder has one thing in common; they all made the journey to the Ocean. The tradition started after the fateful battle between StormClan and LightningClan when a group of warriors left to cleanse themselves of the darkness in their hearts. It was said that the ocean drowned all the darkness lurking in their souls when the sea swallowed the sun. It was a symbolic act and the cats felt the worries be swept away by the tide. When they returned, another small group left to experience the same ordeal and thus the tradition was born.

Tinypaw steps
Swifty/ (swiftfoot now)
Swifty was eating a mouse his father caught. He was very deep in thought. His new sister just died a moon ago, from a dog bite. His other sister was getting sick, but he loved his parents, he couldn’t leave them. He pushed the thought away and padded towards his mother.” Hello storm.” He greeted the kit.” Hello mother.” He looked at her and sat down beside her.” Would you like mouse?” He asked aimlessly. “Yes please.” Storm squeaked eagerly. “Not you.” He laughed.” Your too small.” “No I’m not!” She disagreed. Showing her tiny sharp teeth. Swifty was glad the kit wasn’t hurt by her siblings disappearance.” Wanna go play moss ball?” He asked. Luna wrapped her tail tightly around the kit.” I- I’m not sure.” She said tiredness in her voice. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you can see us.” He reassured his mother. When she wasn’t worried she looked so beautiful and calm. But now she had ruffled fur and tired eyes. “Come on, I’ll protect him.” Said stormk- storm cheekily. When their mother agreed they went to play mossball. A while later he noticed storm was getting tired. He persuaded her to go to bed. He then afterwards went to find his father.
Swifty was going through a bunch of undergrowth and bushes. He scented a familiar scent. His father.” Father?” He called out. “Yes?” A deep voice replied. “ I just wanted you to teach me how to do that trick to do with hunting.” He said curiosity pricking his voice. “Sure.” His father said. He got up and did a quick one then did it slowly for swifty to see. “Like this?” He did the trick and was almost an exact copy. “Yes, great job son.” He meowed happily.
Swiftfoot went on to grow for about another moon before parting his ways with his parents and taking Storm to the clans.

Traditions are as deep as roots Every deputy, leader medicine cat, and elder of choice must go to star peak to speak with Starclan. The elders go because they have one last chance of something exciting in there life before their journey into Starclan. Leaders must go because it is their duty’s to protect and serve there clan and an elder is clan, they must also go because during the elders presence, they speak to the elders of Starclan like lighting for example. Deputy’s go to get a taste of leadership, it is also a sort of test to see the willingness of your clanmates. Medicine cats go to accompany them and give herbs to the cats on the way, also to see if any needs stuff to say in Starclan. Every leader must do this when they are on their last life. When they get there it is to be sure the elder has a comfortable bed to sleep and rest on when arriving.

Hello! Here is a special RP for LightningClan in the spirit of Halloween/October! I know it's November, but not many people were able to be on. This doesn't effect the actual RP and just for fun <3 It'll last all day and I hope people have fun
Every year on this day, a great storm arose from the sky and engulfed the whole forest in darkness by gray clouds swelled with rain. Their heavy bodies floated together almost like a gathering on the full moon, touching sides and not allowing the earth floor to be seen. No one could see the many stars twinkling in the pitch black sky that held the ancestors of the many who've fallen moons ago and even the ones some cats didn't know about. The whole forest was quiet besides the soft breathing of clan cats and the gentle chirps of crickets.
Midnight had came around as quick as a mole running to its home after seeing a large feline stalking it from a far. A flicker of life came from the top of the tree where the leader resides after a hard day of work. Orange eyes peered through the dark mouth of the den as the leader slipped out and now stood tall on the High Stone's head, gazing down upon the camp with unease. Something had felt off as he dozed to sleep earlier that night, a powerful sensation of electricity and almost dizziness so strong to make him sick. Nightmares of a large animal ripping his flesh off his bones and chasing him endlessly made the days grow longer with restlessness.
Foxstar decided it would be a good idea to at least go on a walk before going to his empty nest, the one he used to share with his mate, but now in the nursery with their kits. A hollow pit had formed in his stomach ever since she left him for the other den and couldn't feel vulnerable all by himself. He felt irrational due to the fact his own clan mates were just below him in their own nests, ready to defend each other if disaster struck. But something tonight felt wrong. So wrong that he himself didn't think could handle what might be coming.
It didn't seem to stop him from leaving camp by himself though and through the dense forest. He remembered as a kit being terrified of night time and how the dens would cast ghostly shadows along the forest floor to create monstrous images. His mother would assure him that they would not harm him if he just closed his eyes and think of something he loved. Of course he thought about his little sister and his parents. It did the trick and he would fall asleep instantly at his mother's belly. Now as a grown tom, the darkness still gave him the creeps.
It didn't take long for him to come upon the Ash Field where a great battle had caused StarClan to be so furious they scorched the field with their wrath. Now it held dead trees with crooked limbs, black ash scattering the ground, and many mounds of dirt where dead clan mates laid. Foxstar had visited this place many times to pay respect to all those before him that gave up their life to the clan and those who lost their loved ones who were too young to go. He found the place where Cedarpaw laid underneath the cold ground and curled his bushy tail around his paws, focusing on the pile where a few flowers laid.
Lionfang must have come here a day ago, he thought morbidly. The poor warrior had been torn to pieces by the sudden news of his only family being killed by a fox. It was worse that she was just an apprentice and had her whole life ahead of her. Allowing Ambershine to become a LightningClan member wasn't a bad idea. It gave Lionfang the flame he lost when his sister died. He bowed his head low and gave a small prayer of thanks to StarClan for their help to bring healing to his clan.
Before Foxstar could rise from his paws to walk back to camp, refreshed from the alone time he gained and his mind to wander a bit, he heard a shuffling noise. It had came from the mound of dirt in front of him and stopped as soon as it started. The clouds finally allowed the rain to fall from their fluffy bodies and poured steadily to the dirt, making the place soft and muddy. My imagination is getting ahead of me... He turned once more and only got a few mouse lengths away before the shuffling returned and a moan. A chill ran down his spine at the ghastly sound and slowly turned to see what could have made the strange noise.
Terror would be the first word that came into Foxstar's eyes at the sight that played out before him. The hill of soaked soil began to tremble and cave in on itself as a clump of fur struggled to break free from its prison. A familiar coat of white and pale orange broke out, its eyes glazed over like the ones you see when you killed prey. Cedarpaw emerged from the earth she laid in and staggered forward, neck caked in mud and blood. Her pelt had become ragged and torn with bald spots. It didn't even look have the same life as Cedarpaw did. Becomes she's suppose to be dead.
In that second, a scream came from his gaped mouth without expecting it and felt the rain beat down harder onto them. Flashes of lightning and claps of thunder now greeted the storm as an old friend. Foxstar whirled around and bolted as fast as his legs could. He didn't want to turn around and face whatever that thing was. He heard running and felt his belly squirm in fear with knowledge Cedarpaw was after him. He took a turn too sharply and felt his paws slipped, falling side ways into a mud puddle. His bright orange pelt now had a sickly brown tint to it as he struggled to get up, his body feeling numb.
"Please don't be afraid... You'll be able to live forever this way." That voice, oh StarClan, the voice had a gravely tone to it full of dirt. He twisted his head just in time to see Cedarpaw near his face with a wild grin. Foxstar screeched as she took a bite from his neck and felt his body start to grow cold. The world around him spun until darkness consumed him.
An hour might have passed before two figures walked closer to the LightningClan camp. They both heaved as drool dripped from their lips and stared hungrily ahead. Foxstar and Cedarpaw needed food.

The storm brewing deafened everything until Oakensplash could hear nothing but the way the wind howled or how the thunder boomed. The elder let out a quiet grumble and rose from his spot under the tree, turning to head back to camp. He had been out hunting when the storm kicked in and took shelter under a large root. He could see now that the storm will not let up and he let out an aggravated sigh, glancing around as the lightning illuminated the forest.
Aspenfall was sitting at the camp entrance, glancing out worriedly for her uncle to come back. No one has seen the active elder all day and it made the tabby she cat nervous with this storm going on. Something went wrong, horribly wrong. She was sure of it! The sudden sound of thunder and lightning sent Maplestrike and Flamestep hurrying towards the dens and her ears pinned against her head. Glancing back into camp, she could see Moonclaw hovering by the apprentices den, clearly nervous about his new apprentice.

(Oo omg love this)
Hailclaw was dozing off at the edge of the camp, his eyes barely showing beneath his drooping eyelids, obviously not effected by the raging storm. He had walked out of the Warrior’s Den when the storm had just begun seeking a place to get away from other cats to be alone with his thoughts. As he thought about his current situation, being mates with Owlswoop while Featherwisp was still missing, he saw Foxstar leave camp, but was to preoccupied to really notice it.
Sagetooth and Redflight were both curled tightly in their own nests. Redflight enjoyed the sounds of the storm, the harsh wind and rain did nothing but soothe her. She had stayed away from Shadeclaw as well as any other drama and the she-cat was happy once more. Sagetooth was happy as well. While she hasn’t been chosen to be Palepaw’s mentor, she was completely satisfied with being Tigerpaw’s mentor. Sagetooth covered her face with her tail, falling into a deep sleep, and Redflight continued to listen to the sounds outside of the den, her eyes wide.

Maplestrike let out a quiet whimper as she darted into her den, nearly tripping over Redflight. Flamestep's ears were flattened though and he let out a quiet growl, grasping Maplestrike by the scruff to keep her from squishing the other warrior. "Sorry.." she whispered out, starting to calm now as her scruff was grasped. She was ashamed of how she was acting but she couldn't help it, the storm terrified her and she knew that this was unnatural.

Redflight simply blinked at the motion, not exactly understanding what had just happened. She slowly pushed up on her front paws to end in a sitting position with her eyes studying the two cats before her, Maplestrike and Flamestep. “Are you okay?” The warrior asked simply, her head slightly tilting to the side. Redflight was perfectly unbothered, but rather worried more for Maplestrike who seemed much more flustered and on edge.

"This storm... Its unnatural. Much, much worse than usual." Maplestrike whimpered out, her fur fluffing up. This storm had a static in the air and it set her fur on edge. "I-I don't know why this one is so bad this time." she whispered out, glancing out of the den fearfully to see Eclipselight brush past Aspenfall and out into the darkness beyond.
"Stupid, annoying cats." Eclipselight hissed out, her ears flattening as she stormed out into the harsh weather. Why did she allow Aspenfall to manipulate her into looking for the damned elder? She couldn't care less if he went off to join StarClan. Lightning flashed ahead of her and illuminated the outline of two figures, causing her fur to bristle. Was that red she saw?

Cederbristle Saw Aspenfall's form silhouetted against the dark sky. He moved closer to her, his pawsteps shuffling. "Hey Aspenfall." His voice was soft, his heart pained as he approached, knowing the pain that had been created between the two of them. "I wanted to apologize, for everything."
Pebblepaw huddled in the apprentice den, her eyes tightly closed as she hummed a soft tune. She usually loved thunderstorms, having grown up watching them with her mother, but this one was different. It felt dark, the air was thick with fear, everyone was on edge.
Raindapple had woken from her sleep as a loud clap of thunder shook the walls of the warrior's den, her head shooting up. Rising to her paws, the grey warrior peaked her head outside, shocked at how dark the sky was. "This is different..."

Aspenfall's ears twitched at the sound of her best friend's voice and they lowered as she turned to face him. "Cedar.. Its been a moon. Why are you apologizing now?" She asked him, her voice suddenly thick and her throat tight. She felt like she was going to cry and was suddenly grateful for this horrible storm, he wouldn't see her cry this way.

"We both needed time to think Aspen, we needed some time to ourselves. But I still felt as though I needed to apologize. You're still my friend Aspen, I need you." Cederbristle moved closer, sitting down on the other side of the camp entrance, his gaze falling to his paws.
