!FINAL ROUND!
In this round everyone can participate in all the prompts or just a few. The ones that are written needs to be detailed and not just a few sentences to make it more powerful. We want to feel raw emotion and passion in these. You have 24 hours to complete them...
Fan art: Wonder what one of your favorite scenes in the clan would look like in real life? Draw a scene with one of your favorite cats, couples, etc...
Journey of Stars: Many cats have been lost and now live in StarClan with the memories of their past swimming in their minds. Write one of those memories for one cat that is in StarClan right now.
Tiny pawsteps: Have you ever wondered what some older cats were like as kits? Choose a cat who isn't a kit or apprentice to write a scene when they were a little one.
Traditions are as Deep as Roots: There might be a new set of traditions coming up for LightningClan and I want you to come up with one. It can be something completely unique or something used that could work for them. (Might be chosen when they are established)

Journey of the stars
Cedarpaw watched as Lionfang weeped over mound of dirt that marked where she was buried. Her heart broke for the tom who now had no one. She remembered watching him and Ambershine together- when the Stormclan shecat was staying with them while she healed from her accident. The two were close and it was obvious to Cedarpaw that the two had history. She knew now, seeing all three clans from her new home in the starry forests of Starclan, they were in love. The realization sparked an idea of how to help her brother through this. The shecat visited Ambershine in a cryptic dream. She made the shecat dream about a life with Lionfang, filled with happiness and love. She hoped the dream would coax the shecat into wanting to leave her clan for Lightningclan.
Cedarpaw watched the couple now, as Lionfang told Ambershine about her death. She felt her heart swell with love and pride as the shecat comforted her brother as he weeped once more. And as she recieved a vision of her brother surrounded by kits, she knew she'd made the right choice. She knew he'd be ok.
Tiny Pawsteps
Owlswoop
Owlkit bit her tongue to avoid squealing in excitement. She loved playing hide and seek and was great at it! She peered out of the brambles that made up the warrior den, giggling as she watched Hawkkit searching for her. He'd never find her here, in the tiny hole behind the warrior den, half covered by brambles. She'd found the spot a while back and had kept it secret from every one, delighting in having a little spot all to herself. Sometimes she stayed in there for hours until her mother, Redblossom, finally called for her to come back to the den. She sighed as she heard Redblossom calling for her now, and left her hiding spot. She bounded to the nursery, seeing her mother and brother. "Yes, mama?" she asked. "It's time for you two to take a little nap," Redblossom mewed and shooed the two kits into the den. She curled around Falconkit, laying her tail on top of him while Owlkit leaned against her mothers' flank. It had always been obvious that, while Redblossom loved both of her kits, Falconkit was the favorite. The goldenchild who could do no wrong. He stayed close to their mother while Owlkit preferred to explore and have fun.
...
Owlkit crawled out of her hiding space, feeling heartbroken. It was well after dark and well after the time Redblossom normally called her back to the nursery. But the queen had forgotten her. Again. It had been three moons since Falconkit died, killed by an illness that had swept through the camp. Ever since Redblossom hadn't been the same and hadn't bothered to care for Owlkit. Owlkit trudged through the snow, tail dragging behind her leaving a small line in the cold, white powder. She entered the nursery and noticed Redblossom wasn't even there. Judging by the chill of the bracken that made their nest, the queen hadn't been here for quite some time. Hawkkit raised his sleepy head and looked at Owlkit. He smiled gently and waved his tail, inviting her to join him and his mother. Owlkit smiled and snuggled close to her best friend. As she fell asleep, she watched the snow falling gently outside.
Tradition
the First Storm
It's no secret that Newleaf brings storms and rain. It's a fact the clan knew so well, they decided to celebrate it. When the icy clutches of Leafbare begin to loosen their grip on the world, the clan makes their preparations for the First Storm. When a day comes where there are signs of a big storm to come, the clan prepares a feast. When the storm hits, they sit vigil in the shelter of their dens, waiting for it to be over. Though most storms can be dangerous, the clan believes the first one of the season will determine their fortune for the year to come. If the storm is long and filled with lightning, the clan will have good fortune but if the storm is short, the clan is in for a tough year. If the storm signals good tidings, the clan celebrates with the feast, but if not, they save the extra prey, knowing they'll need their strength.

Journey of Stars: Brightmouse watched as Pebblepaw was lulled to sleep by the gentle rolls of thunder in the distance, a pang in her heart as she watched the tears roll down her daughter’s small face. Oh little one, I am still with you. She did her best to make her presence known to her daughter as often as she could, letting her scent drift on the breeze, or having the wind carry her lullaby when Pebblepaw couldn’t sleep. Her heart was heavy, not understanding why StarClan had torn her away from her child so early but was thankful that she could watch her grow into a beautiful young she-cat. She longed for the day that they could reunite, but was glad to wait, she wanted Pebblepaw to live the full life she never could, experience everything she never could. She remembered every night she stayed awake just watching the small bundle of fur breathe, praying that it would never stop, that her heart would never stop breathing. Those moments when she was sure that her child had drifted to StarClan, but being continuously surprised by her daughter’s fighting spirit. She was so thankful that she was able to see her daughter open her eyes, those blue eyes being the last thing she saw before her world went black. She hoped that Pebblepaw felt her presence at her apprentice ceremony, she was there sitting by her side, shouting louder than the other cats in the clan, she was so proud of her daughter with the love of a mother that nothing could ever take from her. Sleep well my little one...Tiny pawsteps: Cederkit blinked his eyes open, letting them adjust to the light filtering through the nursery. His hair stood up straight, giving him the appearance of being constantly in shook. The world was so big, full of adventure. Yawning, the small tom looked around, taking in his surroundings. Flashes of colour, scents swirling through the air, and sounds of the clan beginning their day created a symphony for his senses. It was his first time seeing the world, and he loved it, his heart pattered in his ears, relishing in the moment, soaking it all in. He rose to his paws, falling a couple times but eventually standing on shaky legs, and waddled over to the edge of his nest, peering over the edge he came face to face with a pair of blazing green eyes. The two kits stared at one another in shock, both having the same idea of peaking into the neighbouring nest before they threw themselves backwards, both squeaking in shock. Cederkit was busy struggling to his paws when he heard a soft thud, the other cat was standing in his nest now. Grunting with effort, Cederkit managed to balance himself enough to stand up. He tilted his head at the other kit, his brows furrowed, “Who are you?” The other cat was stifling a laugh, her whiskers twitch with amusement “My name is Aspenkit, I like your fur, it’s funny.” She paused for a moment, inspecting the tom closely, “I like you, want to be friends?” Cederkit had never talked to anyone before, so this entire experience was a little overwhelming. “Um…” He stared at her closely, she was so interesting. She was a ball of energy, bright, blunt and smiling. But those eyes, they were so vivid, he found himself almost getting lost in their pools of colour. His train of thought was cut off as Aspenkit bounded closer to him, giggling as she neared, “Say something! What does a mouse have your tongue? Do you want to be my friend?” Their noses were nearly touching, her eyes now all he could see. The small tom finally found his voice and managed to squeak out some something along the lines of a ‘Yes,’ which seemed to be good enough for her. “Cederkit, we’re going to be friends forever!” “Ya! Friends forever and ever!” Traditions are as Deep as Roots: There is a very special transformation that occurs when lightning strikes sand. Something called fulgurite is created which is a crystalized like substance, much like glass that is formed beneath the sand. These pieces are very prized among the LightningClan cats, showing signs of StarClan’s blessing or the presence of a deceased loved one. They were first discovered by an apprentice in the Training Hollow, Lightpaw now Lightstar found it while sparring with his mentor and dug up a delicate, intricate work of art breathed into existence by the power of lightning. This artifact is usually buried with the finder or passed down. They are not terribly common, but they are also not entirely unheard of.

OKAY! NOVI'S FIRST WRITING! SHALL. BE. MEG! sorry for the all caps. Gotta hype myself for this XD Tiny Pawsteps Meg watched her mother as she disappeared from the den. Where was the older cat going? Carefully, she hauled herself out of the nest and trotted after, her tail tip twitching. Normally Lemon said something before leaving Meg and her littermates alone. She trailed her mother for a couple blocks, dodging dogs and people as she went. The streets sure were crowded, but it was hard to lose track of Lemon's orange coat. Finally Lemon took a turn down an alley way and Meg paused to stand just around the corner. With great effort, she strained her ears and could hear snippets of conversation. Whispered words. "When...leaving...miss." The voice was deep. A tom's. Her heart leapt in her chest. Could this be...their father? Meg had never known their father. But why would he stay away from them if Lemon kept contact? "M-mother..?" Stepping out from the corner, Meg approached the duo. Lemon whipped around and her eyes widened. "You!" She hissed. "Well, seeing as you're old enough to trail your mother," Meg flinched and stepped back. "Clearly you and your littermates can be left alone." She nudged the tom and they started for the fire escape. "You can let your littermates know that you're all on your own from here on out." "W-wait! Mother!" Meg rushed forward, but the two were already climbing the stairs and heading for the roof. A pit formed in her stomach. What would she do now? How could she tell her siblings that they were alone? That their mother had abandoned them? Meg didn't even know if the tom Lemon was leaving with was their father. Her ears flattened against her head and she headed back home.
The conversation to follow hadn't been a pretty one. Meg's littermates were outraged that Lemon had left them. What were they going to do? They? Meg's whiskers twitched. Who said anything about they? Why should she take care of cats who blamed her for their mother abandoning them? Although she left with her head and tail high, now there was the question of where to go. The park was always a good place to start.
Normally, Meg prided herself in knowing the ins and outs of the park. Who appreciated its beauty and enjoyed it to the fullest and who simply used it as a shortcut to get from one side of the city to another. But now that she was trying to scope out a place to sleep, she noticed a cat heading into a small grove, prey in their jaws. Had she just stumbled upon someone's secret stash? Whiskers twitching, the she-cat hopped down from her tree perch and headed over.
Rather than find a stash of prey, she found herbs. The cat who's home it was looked up and raised an eyebrow. "And who might you be?" "A-ah. I'm Meg.." She stumbled a little over her words. "I-I saw some cat come in here and got curious. Do you take care of cats here?" The cat huffed. "For a price." "Could you teach me?" "What do you have to offer?" Meg frowned. She really didn't have anything. "I...uh...I can take care of you when you get older. And I'll keep the place clean and help you restock and...um..." Their eyes narrowed. "We'll see. First, you can..." and i'll have to go look at other cats to see if i want to do the other writing portions

I shall be doing mine in separate posts! I am so excited for this round XD Journey of the Stars:
Gazing into a pool, a small she cat sighed quietly. Her long feathery grey tail swished over the leaves behind her and she reached a dainty but powerful paw out to tap the pool’s surface, sending ripples across it. The water rippled until the image of the trees above her shifted to a long limbed tom with the colors of fire and snow in his pelt. The markings were similar to the markings of a fox and she gave a soft smile. Foxstar. Clan cats of different colors and sizes surrounded him yet the tom’s head was still held high with pride. Lightstar let out a quiet purr at the sight of her clan thriving and she reached out once more to paw at the image, watching it ripple once more. The image changed from the proud young tom to an older cat, one that looked like he would join the ranks soon. The brown tabby tom looked tired but pleased with himself, straightening up slowly from a pounce. As if knowing that Lightstar was watching him, the elder let out a choppy purr and smiled, glancing up. The grey StarClan cat gave a small smile back at his actions and sat up, gazing down at the pool. “I truly did think that you were going to be a good leader Oakensplash but it seemed like Foxrunner was the best choice in the end. My clan is thriving thanks to your choice to step down.” She murmured, her mind flashing back to that point.
“Lightstar? I am resigning as Deputy to the Clan.” A deep voice rumbled out behind her. She could feel her ears perk with alarm and interest as she glanced back at the tom that approached her. The large tom always made her feel smaller than she already was but she felt safe around him, around her clan mates. “Oakensplash. Are you sure you want to do this? The clan still needs you.” She stated after a moment, studying the tabby tom as he approached her. She could see the determination in his pale gaze and she knew that this was one battle that she could not win.
“I am getting old Lightstar. My bones started to ache and my speed has started to decrease. Sure I can still devote many years to the clan but I cannot do it as deputy. My Clan is my life and I have devoted everything to it. I refuse to be deputy any longer than today. They need someone younger Lightstar.” He purred out and his gaze softened as he looked at her. Was that? No it could not have been love. She shook her head and sighed, dipping her head after a moment. “I shall announce it to the clan. Will you be moving to the elders den?” she asked him, glancing up only to have dark green meet pale chartreuse. The pale gaze softened and Oakensplash dipped his head to gently press his nose against her cheek. “Yes, I will be. It was an honor working with you Lightstar. I know who you choose to replace me would be great.” He murmured softly in her ear before pulling away. She could only watch blankly as the former deputy walked away from her and she felt empty for a second. Shaking her head free of those thoughts, the small grey leader sat down where she was and started to brainstorm. “Now… Who would be the best deputy?” She murmured, her mind working as fast as lighting to decide her successor.
