Possibly Whitehawk. Granted he's an older warrior but he's loyal to the clan above all else and would do anything for his clanmates. He's calm, collected, driven, and friendly. All the qualities a deputy should have.

Maybe Bluelion? (I feel like I need to look more) (Wait no I'm going to stand behind this one.... kinda)
Anyways, The way he has invested himself into Nightflower's kits and protected them is exactly what is needed in a deputy and future leader. He is a level-headed tom who is very protective of the clan he loves. He seems like he would make a wonderful choice, a father of sorts to the clan. He would be a good choice to help the clan get through their time of sorrow, with all the recent deaths. A wise comforter and natural born leader.

I think that Foxstar would choose Bluelion as a deputy to the clan. Bluelion is a strong and large warrior of few words but a heart of gold. He is fiercely protective of those that he cares for and the clan means a lot to the warrior due to him being rescued and taken in by them. He is a gentle giant but he also knows how to fight for the clan when the time calls for it.

I think he would choose Shadeclaw because, by the time Crowtalon stepped down shade would be much more softer due to being mates with Softwing. Shadeclaw would absolutely butter-up to Foxstar in order to be made deputy. Foxstar blinded by his kits futures he wouldn’t see that Lizardfang is controlling him and he wishes that all cats are strong. Foxstar will then be killed by some unknown lizard. Foxstar would also choose him because he is an expert at almost everything that a cat needs for survival.
