((Idk, I don’t really care. I could do either or both, whichever works best to be honest. We could do two dragons and their riders or something. ))

Alright cool! Would you like me to start or would you like to? And do you have an idea for a plot that we can follow so we know what direction to go in?))

((That idea sounds pretty good! Maybe the character is chased out after they’re found to be with a dragon? The current opinion in much of the continent is that dragons are evil and mercilessly crewel, so a human being found with or even training a dragon could be very bad.))

The human blinked, wondering why a tinny, barking noise was coming from such a large... thing. He slowly turned around, peeking out from behind the tree he was covering behind. “W-w-What are you?” He asked timidly. He recoiled a step in surprise. Then, he once again leaned in to stare intently at him. He chirped again with a smile. A very scary, animatronic smile

The human yelped as the thing smiled a toothy, honestly trrrifying smiled and he ducked behind the tree again. It’s gonna eat me. It’s gonna eat me. It’s gonna eat me. He kept repeating that phrase in his head, cowering behind the tree.

(I can do the runaway)
One would find themselves wanting to look around at the world below of up in the skies, but Mysha was a little preoccupied at the moment. Barely conscious, actually. And carrying her in his palm was her companion. And as he held her, silvery "hand" concealing her from view, crimson was slowly seeping from between one of the cracks of two toes. Hm. She was bleeding again. Angling large wings downward, the massive shape descended, landing on three legs neatly, the fourth setting the cargo down, staring down at her form, which was wrapped up in a blanket due to dropping body temperature. Mmm... there was bound to be some yarrow around. Mysha said that wound slow down the bleeding. Leaving her friend hidden in some bushes, the large being left the area, looking around for that pesky herb.

Another human was nearby, walking along casually as a large black beast strolled beside the human. The pair seemed to be happy, not overly cautious, and generally not nervous at all. The dragon suddenly stopped as it smelled something, head raising into the air in and sniffing bigger inhales. It started growling loudly, to which the human instantly stepped back and got up onto the dragon's back. "What is it?" The human whispered to the dragon, to which the dragon instantly ran forward towards the source of the smells. Another human, and a new dragon it had never scented before.
"Who is there?" The dragon called out in a roar.

AshLightningAh, finally! Yarrow. She was too big to pick individual pieces though, so she'd have to take the entire bushes. Before she could grab them though, she heard a road back where her ward was. Her paw, which rapidly was turning silvery, wrapped around the bush and yanked. Transferring the bushes to her mouth, she turned and ran back toward where she left, the silver seeping into view in a runny substance before hardening up. Getting back to the clearing, she noticed the other human and dragon. Snorting, more liquidy substance ran from her nostrils before hardening too. She looked like a hardened, goopy mess, though the metal looked softer where her limbs needed to bend. Spitting the yarrow bushes out, she didn't say anything, just watching them as she stood between them and her human, who wasn't even strong enough to peer through the bushes. They didn't seem to be looking for trouble, but one could never be too sure. She waited for them to do something so she could either attack them or watch them leave.

The human watched as the dragon ran up and take a defensive stance. It was clearly protecting something. The human leapednoff the dragon and held up his hands. “Wait!” He said, not even thinking the dragon might not understand him. “We’re only Walking here when Shard here smelled you.” He said, knowing what growls meant what in his dragon’s tones. “We don’t mean any harm to you. Are you protecting something?” He asked, noticing the other dragon’s stances. He looked down and noticed some red spots and such. “Are you hurt?” He asked.

Hm. She was never one to like english. She found it to be quite a primitive dialect, unlike Draconian, the language of dragons. Studying him, her eyes, which had also been glossed over by the metal (humans apparently called it graphene), seemed to narrow slightly. Deciding that they weren't looking for trouble, she turned away and walked back to the bushes, where her ward was waiting. Grabbing her, she brought her out to the other two. Looked to be in her twenties, with darker brown skin and black hair braided. However, she was sweating looked thin and wasn't moving much besides weak breathing. The blanket she was wrapped up in with soggy and crimson in two separate areas, one closer to her shoulder and one a little ways lower. Having been moved, she stirred, opening soft brown eyes, squinting as she regained consciousness. She noticed two new faces though, and her brow bent. Her hand twitched beneath the blanket, probably to try and gra something, but alas, her weapon had been taken away before they'd escaped.

The human grunted at seeing the human girl and he quickly walked back to Shard and tried to grab something out of a type of saddle bag strapped to Shard’s side. The human got something out and walked towards the dragon. “May I help her, please? I only want to help, nothing else.” He said. It was clear the two were wary of others, probably for good reason.

The dragoness grunted, sniffing at the human before stepping back. She pushed the yarrow bush toward him. Even though the human couldn't understand, the other dragon as she spoke "Mysha says this helps with bleeding... but I don't know what else to do. Those animals took her arm. Nearly took her leg too, but we managed to find a healer on the road." They couldn't stay for long, as they were basically being hunted like animals, willing to rip either of them apart, as already evident with her friend. "Is your human a healer?" She honestly didn't care, as she would take any help. Mysha kept her brow bent, wanting to move away though, but was too weak to do much else than breathe. The dragoness growled softly at her, basically telling her to get over it.

The human man slowly approached. He appeared to be a little bit older than her. “Look, I mean you no harm. I can tell you were injured or something and I want to help you so you don’t die.” He said, kneeling down beside her.
The black dragon nodded, watching the female push the yarrow bush over. “Somewhat. He trained to be a form of healer a while ago, just in case either of us got injured.” He replied. “He has his own medicines, but he does know how to use that plant you nudgedbtk him in case he runs out.” He said as he watched. “Are you two on the run from humans?” He asked.

The dragoness looked skeptical as the other explained his human. Hm. At least he seemed to know what he was doing. Grunting, she answered "Humans are intelligent, empathetic creatures. I don't know what those animals were." Sure, they had human looks, but her mother had always told her that humans were nice. Most of them anyway. "Mysha lived with a group apparently, and from what I could tell they did not like dragons. Apparently we are invaders, despite having been here long before man."
Mysha tried to look skeptical, but she was so tired she only managed to look confused really. Still, it seemed that Ma'ait was okay with them, so she simply allowed the man to approach. Not like she could do much else. Her friend used a claw to open up the wrapping of the blanket. They had managed to get some prior help, judging by the bandaging wrapping up along her right leg. Her right arm, or lack of one, was not as fortunate though, bandages only able to try and relieve a stub. Both bandages wounds were soggy and crimson though, needing more attention. Most people would likely be groaning and crying in pain, but she was so numb and cold at that moment that she could feel much else than a dull throb.

Shard nodded slowly. “Drake and I have been seeing this behavior for a long time. Ever since man started dominating this land, they’ve become afraid of anything that poses a threat. Only a few humans have seen that only a few of our kind are actually threats.” He replied.
Drake immediately started tending to the woman’s wounds. This was really bad. He started redressing the wounds, trying to be as kind as he could. “This is bad...” he mumbled as they walked.

Ma'ait shrugged. "There is nothing we can do, I suppose. Majority dragons refuse to rally against the humans. So, all we can do is fend for ourselves." It seemed to be dragon against human though, so it was just unsettling to know that they bad no problem attacking their own.
Mysha managed to snort at his comment. You don't say? Taking a breath, you could hear the rattle in her lungs. Then, she actually spoke. "... don't see many... kind people these... days." She blinked her eyes slowly, like it was a struggle to. "... you... running too...?"

Shard nodded slowly and listened to what the female had to say. “yes, these are dark days indeed.” He murmured. He looked up at the dragon and smiled a little. “I’m Shard by the way, this is Drake.” He said, nodding to the human.
Drake chuckled a little. “Thanks for calling me nice. And no, we’re aren’t running anymore. We had to for a while, but eventually they just gave up on trying to find us.” He said, still caring to her wounds.

Ma'ait tilted her head, which was still covered in hardened graphene just like the rest of her. "Hm. I am Ma'ait of the West Mountains. This is Mysha." Usually Mysha would be introducing herself, but she wasn't feeling up to anything really.
Mysha only hummed as Drake explained that he was no longer running. "Your people... not as intent..." Who knew how long she would have to be on the move, if she didn't bleed out soon that is. How funny that a stranger showed more concern than the people she'd lived with her entire life. "... shouldn't be... wasting." That medical supplies could be going to someone who had better chances, and even if she did live, it would take a while for her to regain strength anyway.

“Nice to meet you.” Shard said, nodding toner. He noticed all the metal on er and his head tilted a bit. “If you don’t mind explaining, may I ask why you’re so covered in metal?” He asked.
“Nonsense.” Replied Drake, still helping her with his medicine and bandages. “I can always get ore if needed.” He said as he grabbed something and moved towards her head. “Swallow this. It’ll help with the pain.” He said, holding out a pill near her mouth while stil finishing her new bandages.

Ma'ait swishes her tail once. "West Mountain Dragons have the ability to alter their bodies to a degree of any material they have come in contact with. I exchanged skin for... um... well, Mysha says it is called "graphene."" The only thing they couldn't change when time came around was any organs involved with reproduction and pregnancy, as such changes would damage the babies. "It would be nice to manipulate elements, but it's just our bodies we can change." Her kind were essentially natural defence mechanisms, as they technically only had breath weapons as a projectile offense. "It's also a goal to find as many materials as we can, because the more you have the more authority you have." She then shrugged. "I haven't been looking lately though because I've been with Mysha."
Mysha looked skeptical, but used her own hand to take the pill anyway. after swallowing it, she asked "... how did you... meet your dragon...?" You didn't see many riders these days at all, and nowhere near her people especially. Her brows bent as she felt trickling on her right arm, only to look and remember there was no limb. Phantoms pains already, and she sighed. "Should leave... weak to die." One arm meant half of her movement was gone , and to her people that was dead weight. There was a part of her that was glad she hadn't died yet though.

Shard nodded. "I see. That's a really cool ability, honestly." Shard said, smiling a little. "And that sounds like a lofty goal, to be honest. Finding so many different materials." He said as he licked his chest a couple times. "So why did Mysha's kind attack her?" He asked, wanting to know some more details.
Drake rolled his eyes. He'd clearly heard that last statement a few times. "I met Shard during my travels. Just as a young adolescent. He was very curious, and so was I. We bonded and became fast friends. Soon after I was chased away with him and, after we weren't being chased anymore, went back to learning in various towns and cities. And now we are just traveling and having adventures wherever we find them." he said. "And I'm not leaving anyone to die. Not you, not a dragon, not anyone who I consider to be my friend or ally." He said as he finished bandaging her.

Ma'ait tilted her head. "Because she met me." She remembered peering up at her face as Mysha pulled apart her egg, which the dragoness had been too weak to finish opening. She could still see her wide eyes and fuzzy hair as a child. "Children are much easier swayed than adults, and she was able to see that not all dragons are bad before lies were engrained in her mind. We grew up together in secret, until I began my travels, and she'd meet me in secret when I dropped by to see her when I could." A frown reached her. "She was so unlike her people though. Sure, she trained with them, could kill men twice her size, but only because they were threats. Me though... she spared me. I had been looking for her when I was captured for their sick games, but she freed me in broad daylight."
Mysha snorted. Ally. "I could... rip your arm off...," she grumbled, feeling her bandages after they were set. Well, maybe she could have with both arms, but... yeah. Sitting up, she looked down at herself. Great. Just great. She would look like some deformed cripple for the rest of her life now, and likely would limp like one too. Sighing, she looked up at her friend, who looked back down sympathetically. All Mysha did was roll her eyes and look away.

"I see, that's quite interesting." Shard said, grinning a little. "More interesting than when Drake and I met." he added, turning to watch Drake work. "It's good though, that she is still alive and that there is another Human who likes dragons. Drake and I were thinking we were the last ones." he said.
"Yeah, I highly doubt you could rip my arm off." he replied, tapping his overshirt, which had clear scaly patterns on it. "Dragon scales, nearly impenetrable by human hands." he said with a smirk. He sat down next to her, sighing softly. "So how long have you two been Running?"

Ma'ait chuckled. "There will always be an opposing side. If we went looking, we might find more like them." Hopefully. "But for now we will be staying away. I don't want her anywhere near that place. We'll be going north. Much nicer humans there." Compared to what was chasing them anyway.
Mysha looked up at the sky. It would be nighttime soon. "A few hours..." Much longer and she would've been well on her way to bleeding out. She wondered how far behind her people were. They didn't take disobedience lightly. "Ma'ait and I... will need to get going soon." They needed to stay ahead. Looking up, she whistled up at her friend, who stated down at her. "Say goodbye... to your acquaintance. We need to... get going."

"You're not going anywhere fast with how you are now." Drake said, looking at Mysha. "But Shard and I know of a place nearby. No humans can get to it without dragon help. You'd be safe there." Drake offered. He wouldn't let another human and dragon be injured or caught. Not on his watch.
Shard nodded slowly. "So we've heard. We have been North a couple times. Usually during the warmer months when more human patrols and attack parties are out." he said. He looked over as Mysha spoke, and he then looked at Ma'ait. "Like my human said, we know of a safe place nearby. Any exceeding movement could injure Mysha further."
