yeah, stealth, that's about what i was thinking! Salt, I like what you have, but I think it'd be stronger if the cats started out in fire island- as intelligent as they are, i'm not sure if they'd be able to swing getting to fire island from manhattan on their own.

i'm gonna change it to be a bit more... spiritual i guess? i wrote in the names list that each of the Clans had a tie to a specific big cat, so I think I'm going to explore that a little. Also gonna cut down on the number of initial cats! :v

For years, kittypets had been abandoned, left by their twoleg owners at greenleaf’s end to die in the coming snow. Until three abandoned kittypets- Twist, small and fierce, Marsha, sleek and bluh, and Mintie, swift as the ocean breeze, received an omen from cats long dead, cats who could not stand to see another generation suffer as they had.
A glowing firefly, the last of the season, lead them deep into the Sunken Forest, along the twoleg path. It is said that the skies opened up at the Great Holly, and three glowing spirits descended- Lion, noble and descended to Mintie; Tiger, muscular and strong, to Marsha, and Leopard, lithe and spotted, to Twist.
Twist was content to stay in the stunted trees of the forest, but Marsha and Mintie felt their paws being pulled elsewhere. Mintie left to the sand dunes and the ocean, and Marsha to the long grasses and pools of the salt marsh. Together with their guides, they learned to hunt, to fight, to lead. All three survived leaf-bare. When the next greenleaf came, and the abandoned kittypets mulled about in confusion, they were there, with new names. Dunestar, for the fleetfooted and adaptable. Sunkenstar, for the cats that thrive in the trees. And Marshstar, for the experimental and courageous.
What do you guys think of this? It's not done, and i think it might be a little pretentious-sounding. I'm trying to sort of capture the 'legend' feeling, you know? i know it's pretty different from what you wrote, Salt, but do you guys think it's a good foundation?

Should we each write little blurbs for individual clan intros? Sort of just saying the things in the clan descriptions in the front page? Also should we start setting up our own individual clan pages and use the same setup as your DuneClan page?

Yeah! you don't have to use the same code- you should probably tweak the colors at the very least- but you should have everything be in the same order. I'm debating whether we should have a separate joining page.

Same honestly- I don't need any help at the moment, but I'm thinking if deputies don't ask to join soon we just launch without them and pick people who are in the rp. What do you think?

that's true! I can work on that, no worries also, if we can figure out MarshClan and SunkenClan territory/camps, that'd be great! i could potentially livestream it and you guys could give me input. |
