maybe, but then i'm worried it'd look too similar to DuneClan's...
I'm also thinking of more Clan-specific traditions. What do the Clans do when their cats die? I think DuneClan sends the bodies out to sea, and maybe MarshClan lets them sink into the bog... I think SunkenClan would bury them to feed the trees.

What if the cats leaving them to sink in the marsh is an old tale because there was a great flood that killed a bunch of cats. I think it would be pretty creepy if they let their cats just sink in some water which could then be drunk out of, ya know? I do like the wrapping idea, though.

I actually don't think cats would drink out of the bog, 'cause bogs are often covered with moss and grasses, and other heavy animals sink into it and die, which would contaminate the water anyway. That's part of why they're so dangerous, 'cause they're hard to spot! granted, i don't know a ton about bogs, so maybe i'm way off.
Also, cats apparently don't need to drink water? like, they just get all the water they need from their prey. cats are weird.

aaah sorry i vanished! Storm, DuneClan's already got a tradition for becoming a Warrior, but maybe one of the other Clans would use that?
Salt, that'd be awesome! Since a lot of pet cats are abandoned on Fire Island, I think it'd be cool to have the Clans originally be kittypets that banded together for survival, and eventually adapted to their environments, forming 3 distinct Clans.

you'll have to talk with Stealth, but i think MarshClan is the only one without a tradition at the moment... SunkenClan's is to hunt without touching their paws to the ground, I think?

It was any normal day. Birds chirping, dogs barking, and Twolegs working. Well, this was normal for the kittypets, loners, and rogues of New York City. Five cats held groups of power over an area, their names were: Falcon, Dune, Sunken, Marsh, and Twist. Twist and Sunken had been close siblings but an argument over a she-cat that resulted in death tore them apart. Falcon had come from Staten Island in hopes of starting a family. However, the Manhattan cats needed a leader- Falcon was chosen. Marsh and Dune had been born and raised kittypets in New York City and still were. They spent the days among these streets. Daily, cats were kidnapped, killed, or went missing. Twist had called a meeting. "Yes?" Falcon asked. "Several of the cats that regularly visit us haven't returned in weeks!" Marsh exclaimed. "Emerald, Zona, Xero, and Laura. They haven't seen us since the sky exploded." Arrow replied. "Same. Except it's my kits that are gone. They're names are Mintie, Pebble, and Teage." There was one solution. Marsh and Dune eagerly agreed with Sunken and the three set off for Fire Island with their supporters the next morning.

Yup, that's our tradition. Yeah I think it would be a cool history if the abandoned kittypets just always fought each other and were loners until they decided they'd be stronger together
