Hmm... have any ideas for Clan-specific traditions? Or variations on the warrior code?
I was thinking that these clans are less harsh on kittypets than the canon ones, because there's an influx of abandoned ones at the end of every summer. Or maybe that'd make them more harsh on kittypets, since they're usually not very good at hunting for themselves? Maybe kittypets often end up dying because they can't survive, so the Clans are reluctant to take them in.

I always like creating new traditions. I'll try to think of some.
I would think more harsh in some clans. In the canon warriors, some clans were harsher than others and others just let anyone from the outside in. Totally not looking at you ThunderClan. I'm thinking the SunkenClan would be the hardest to get in because they live in the most difficult territory and are fairly elusive, plus kittypets might not wander into the scary forest full of shadow cats. DuneClan might also be a bit harsh on kittypets seeing how they are proud and all, but they might accept one or two. I feel MarshClan would be the most accepting based on their personality and the fact their clan's looks are so diverse(They could have more diversity from accepting new blood in), but kittypets might have trouble getting into the territory and living long enough to join. I'm sorry. This didn't really answer your question and was long. >.<

Nah its fine! I like this kind of discussion  i'm thinking more about DuneClan, and I think out of the Clans they're the most open to change, cause their environment is so temporary. Dunes are an unstable ecosystem so I reckon that DuneClan has to get used to a new layout after every storm,, so maybe they're better about it? I agree that MarshClan is the most accepting, though. |

Yeah. They might get the most visitors too. I could see them accepting kittypets, but not exactly being soft on them. You gotten toughen up those kittypets because a changing territory is unpredictable and wild. I dunno. They could be mixed, some unfriendly and some friendly(much like how ThunderClan was with Rusty/Firepaw).
Do you already have some ideas for traditions? I'll admit, I'm not too sure which ones you would be fine with changing.

True!
For traditions, I think that the Clans should each have different traditions to exacerbate their differences- that way the ban on inter-clan relationships makes more sense, i guess? I think that DuneClan apprentices should have to spend a night on Flatrocks to earn their warrior name... Maybe MarshClan apprentices have to take down a swan, or something of similar size? No idea about SunkenClan though.

Maybe the SunkenClan apprentices have to ambush their mentors or race each other back to camp only in the trees? Maybe even both.

I like the tree thing a lot! A test maybe where they have to hunt something and bring it back without touching their paws to the ground once?

Maybe both? They could hunt without touching the ground then race back to camp. If apprentice doesn't complete it by a certain time then they failed.

Are LGBT characters allowed?
Also I always like to add in a rule about no multiple leadership positions. This means that if you're a leader in one clan, you can't be medicine cat or deputy of the same clan. The only second leadership position you can take is medicine cat of another clan if you are already leader or deputy in a different clan. If you are already a medicine cat in one clan, you can't have a second medicine cat position. All that stuff.

Hi! LGBT+ characters are allowed and encouraged- I and at least one other mod fall somewhere in that community The rule about the leadership positions has been followed, but it's unwritten, mostly 'cause I wasn't sure exactly how to phrase it! |

Stormleap - Rushfrost - Rushfrost is a silver tabby she-cat with a slight blue tint to her fur. Her face and stripes fade a little at her face, offering more contrast for her clear blue eyes. Just like she was summoned, she watched as Piperstar padded into camp. With a grin, she bounded toward the new leader, pleased that her old friend from when they were kits was doing so well. They hadn't exactly talked much during her deputyship, she'd been too busy with her new responsibilities. She hoped they could take the time to catch up a little. "Hey, Piperstar!"
Sorry that I just made them childhood friends without permission, it doesn't have to carry into rp if you don't want it to. I would like that it be known that Rushfrost is about the same age as Piperstar though, since she is a younger leader.

You can make another Tom if you want to! I don't think it's a major issue, though. When the Clans get posted and opened for joining, more people will probably join with toms.

hey, other leaders- would you want me to also draft up your Clan pages, or would you rather do it yourself? I can provide the artwork, and I think it'd be best if all the Clans had a similar format, to make them seem more unified.

Whatever you prefer, I think it would be quicker and easier on you if we set up our own pages and used your artwork. I agree with the similar format though, sounds like a plan to me!
