Rules 1. Forum rules are my rules 2. Feel free to add in extra plot things to make the rp more interesting, but I just ask that you don't start anything big without running it by me first 3. Be as active as you can! If you have life stuff just give me a little heads up, I understand! 4. This is a literate rp! I don't have a specific sentence quota, but I at least want complete sentences 5. No Godmodding, Powerplaying, spotlighting, perfect characters, you get it 6. Since this is LOTR, there will be violence. Try to keep it PG-13 7. Have as many characters as you can handle! Feel free to edit, add, delete if you ever feel like it~ Joining Form (anything with ** is optional)Character Name | Age | Gender | Race | Alignment (good/evil/etc) Looks | Personality | Skills/Abilities | History** | Other ** | SN General Plot Over a century after the events of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Middle Earth is enjoying the height of the Fourth Age. A silver ring similar to the One Ring was forged just a few years ago which caused a whole new round of chaos, but it was destroyed and the effects of that dark force have nearly been erased once more. Peace has come to the Western lands and kingdoms of Men, with the exception of wild beasts here and there. Mirkwood has been restored to its former brilliant green glory, and though most elves have left for the West there are some that have stayed behind. Overall, the kingdoms have been prospering. The East, however, is still a lawless dog-eats-dog world. Though formerly allied with Sauron have been driven back and left to survive in the desert. Even Mordor is mostly abandoned. In this barren land there are those harboring feelings of growing hate toward the kingdoms that drove them to this state. One man in particular, an Easterling by the name of Acharnor, feels a particularly passionate hatred toward Gondor and all those associated. He may be one man for now, but it seems the scattered serpents and drakes trust in this very man, and the blood that runs through his veins is that of a very ancient evil. The Valar, god-like beings of old, have recognized the threat... but with their separation from Middle Earth so many ages ago they have selected a few individuals to represent them with unique abilities in this coming fight.

Map of Middle Earth(photo credit to JRR Tolkien)Current Kingdoms and Rulers *Blanks mean the position is open to claim*
Mirkwood (Now called Eryn Lasgalen)~ ______ Mirkwood is a dense forest to the northeast, and is home to wood elves that have not yet crossed into the East and wish to still live in Middle Earth. While Sauron was still about, it was a dark and diseased forest. However, in current times it has been restored to its former beauty, hence its renaming. It's notable landmarks include the Mountains of Mirkwood and Forest River which flows from the Grey Mountains. The elves are pretty much the only ones that can successfully navigate through the forest, and travelers of other races should beware their traps of elven magic. Shire ~ _____The Shire is the homeland for the Hobbits of Middle Earth, located in the northwestern portion in Ariador. It has a very similar climate to England, with mild winters and warm summers. It has many villages, and plenty of land for fields and farms, as well as forests and marshes. The Brandywine River borders it from the east, and it has no natural barriers to the north or west. It was once under the rule of King Elessar, but now is an independent realm ruled by the halflings. Rohan ~ ______ Rohan is a kingdom of men located in the vale between the Misty Mountains to the north and the White Mountains to the south. It extends to the river Isen in the west and to the river Anduin in the east. Fangorn Forest and the former elven settlement Lorien also lay within its borders. The men living there are known as the Rohirrim or "horse-lords", the name being a reference to their great cavalry and horse-training. The capital is Edoras, and the fortress Helm's Deep is also located in this kingdom. Gondor ~ Lord Daerion, resides in Minas Tirith (rp-ed by Kuragehime) Gondor is the most prominent kingdom of men in Middle Earth. It is bordered by Rohan in the north, Harad in the south, Andrast and the sea to the west, and Mordor to the east. Minas Tirith is the capital city, but other large fortresses include Dol Amroth and Osgiliath on the Anduin. Minas Morgul (then Minas Ithil) was part of this kingdom before it was taken by the Witch King, but now it is abandoned and contested. As mentioned earlier, men inhabit this kingdom, but some elves also live in the land of Ithilien in the southern regions. The border with Mordor is heavily patrolled by the rangers and Gondor soldiers. Also, in this age, Umbar and the lands of South Gondor have been returned from the control of the Haradrim.Arnor ~ Eldacar Valandil (steward, rp-ed by telirius)Arnor is a northern kingdom of Men in Middle Earth. It was once abandoned and left to ruin, however King Aragorn (Elessar) refounded the Kingdom of Arnor as part of the Reunited Kingdom, and made Annúminas his summer capital. Northern Arthedain, Rhudaur, and Forochel are the sum of its parts with the exception of the Shire. Forochel is the least populated due to climate. Arthedain is largely populated by Bree-men, Eriedain and Dúnedain and is the core of the kingdom. Rhudaur is populated by the Dúnedain and Rhudaurrim and is less populated. Though still a branch of the kingdom of Gondor, it has its own local rulers in place.Erebor ~ _____ Inhabited by the dwarves of Durin's Folk, this kingdom is the center of the dwarven population. The mining of mithril has made a resurgence as dwarves reinstated their home in Khazad-dûm. However, despite these advances this kingdom of dwarves appears to be dwindling.Mordor ~ _____ Mordor is bordered on three sides by mountain ranges in a rough rectangular pattern. The capital is Barad-dur, and the only way for large armies to enter the land is through the Black Gate in the northwest corner, or past Cirith Ungol in the west. The landscape is largely arid and ashy due to the volcanic activity in this land, though the southernmost part known as Nurn is slightly more fertile. It hosts a small inland sea, and the blown in ash from Mount Doom aids in dry-land farming. Though mostly wasteland, there are some small populations of humans living around the inland sea.Rhun ~ _____ Known as the Eastlands in the western tongue, Rhun is a large region in east Middle Earth. It is the home and kingdom of the Easterlings who had previously allied with Sauron. Very little is known of these lands, even the great wizards of the past have never explored here. There is an inland sea far in the east besides the Sea of Rhun, and beyond that a range of mountains known as the Red Mountains or Orocarni. The capital is unknown. Harad ~ _____ Also known as Haradwaith, this land is home to the Haradrim. It is located south of Gondor and Mordor, and is split into Near Harad and Far Harad. The smaller regions are often fought over by the many tribes within Harad. The tribes are typically hostile, but have been allowed to live in peace by Gondor after the War of the Ring.
"The East"A largely arid desert land, it is sparsely populated. Many orcs and trolls retreated here after the Third Age, as well as some Haradrim and Easterlings

List of CharactersElvesEarwen Culnamo | 539 | Female | Mirkwood Elf | Neutral Good
Earwen is built like your typical elf, tall and thin yet strong. Her hair is a silky white with darker streaks at the roots and it falls down to her waist. Her bangs are two long strands braided behind her head and her eyes are a very pale yellow. She wears a dusty grey woven shirt with half-length sleeves. During a fight, she wears a dull silver elven chestplate. Her pants are dark grey and she wears dark brown boots. She has leather fingerless gloves, and while fighting has dull silver arm braces. There are several pouches on her belt, and her bow and quiver are slung over her shoulder. She has a couple straps on one thigh where she keeps her daggers. Over all this she wears a deep green hooded cloak. | Earwen is usually very softspoken and tends to keep to herself, but she is very friendly once she warms up to someone. However, being a typical Mirkwood elf, it takes a very long time for her to trust someone. She will often get lost in her thoughts, and much prefers being in the company of nature rather than other individuals. Despite her softspoken nature, if pushed far enough sharp words will leave her mouth. | She is a great shot with a bow and arrow and has decent blade skills, but the most she's ever fought is the occasional giant spider lurking in the forest. | She knew very little of the world outside Mirkwood for most of her life, until she found a little silver ring and it thrust her into the adventure of a lifetime. She traveled all over Middle Earth and encountered all races and beasts. The quest to destroy the ring was not finished without conflict, as it once claimed her as its own. Her mind became forfeit to the ring's influence and she launched attack after attack on the forces of good, even on her own homeland. Once the ring was destroyed she temporarily lost her memory of the events, but upon regaining them returned to Mirkwood to make up for her actions many times over and has since not left the forest. | Her best friend is her horse Alqua. Alqua is a mostly white mare with light grey dappling on her flanks and legs. | Kuragehime Minuialwen (Minsy) | 167 | Female | Mirkwood Elf | Very Good
Minuialwen (Minsy) is a rather short Elf, standing at a mere 5'3. She has chin-length blonde hair that she actually cut herself, so it is choppy and wild, tending to fly about when the wind blows. Her eyes are a deep blue, like staring into the deepest part of the sea. She wears whatever is available to her, but typically it's tan pants that hang tightly to her small waist. A forest green sleeveless shirt is what she usually sports for a top, with some sort of cover-sometimes a long black coat or sometimes even a cape. Her boot are black in color and rise just above her ankles. Don't mistake her petite size for weakness, in hand to hand combat Minsy is as accomplished as any other Elf, and she prides herself on her archery skills. | She's kind to a fault, and more loyal than a canine. Somewhat naïve, Minsy likes to look to those she deems above her for guidance. She ferociously protective and hates being taken advantage of more than anything else. Betraying her will be one of the last things you do. She loves her friends more than anything else and takes comfort in their presence. She doesn't like being by herself, ironic for someone who used to spend so much time out in the woods alone. | She was raised in the forests of Mirkwood by none other than Radagast the Brown. Her mother Calithil recently traveled to Valinor (She was a Rivendale elf), leaving Minsy totally devoid of any family relatives in Middle Earth. | twilightfire HobbitsPoppy Proudfoot | 30 | Female | Shire Hobbit | Lawful Good
She has light brown almost golden hair that goes to her shoulders and is a little curly and has light skin and brown eyes. She wears a light lavender dress with a darker cape/shawl. She has a hobbit-sized chestplate and chainmail shirt that she keeps on display in her room from her travels with Earwen, and has vowed never to need to wear them again. | She is very sweet and helpful, but also naive, aloof, and a little happy-go-lucky. She loves to eat, and she finds fun in everything. She is very trustworthy, and would do anything for family or friends (within reason). | Poppy is mediocre with the sword and combat in general. She is a brilliant baker and now devotes all her time to the hobby. | She lives in the Shire on her own and after returning from Gondor has no desire to leave ever again, as she is very much a scaredy-cat. She was born and raised in Hobbitton. | Kuragehime DwarvesHumansTeonvan | 50 | Male | Human from Ithilien | Lawful Good
Teonvan is of average height, and is strongly built. His hair is dark brown and fairly short. His eyes are a lighter brown than his hair. He wears a dark green long-sleeved undershirt, and over this he wears a tunic of the same color that goes down to about his knees. Over these, he wears a dark grey jerkin, and thick dark leather gloves on his hands. His pants are greyish brown, and he wears dark brown knee-high boots and a black cape with the white tree of Gondor on the back. When in combat, he wears silver Gondor armor (chestplate, arm braces, shoulder armor), and the chest plate has the patter of the White Tree on it. | If you were to observe Teonvan, the first thing you would notice is that he is a work-a-holic. He is always doing something, whether it is training or sending his rangers out on patrols or even helping Nerade with something…and he doesn’t know how to take a break. He is also very chivalrous and protective of the ones he is close to. Well, to be more precise, he tends to be a bit of a worrywart when it comes to the people he is closest to. When he is in front of people he always puts on a serious front and tries to show no weakness, with a few exceptions. | Teonvan is skilled with the longsword and shield, and is learning archery. | Teonvan was born in Southern Gondor in Ithilien where his father was a member of the Ithilien rangers. Once he was old enough, Teonvan also joined the rangers and eventually found himself in the royal guard. Along the way, he met Nerade and Daerion of the royal family and became fast friends with both siblings. There was a period of time when they were separated, and all were surprised the day Teonvan walked into the throne room as one of the new guards, and accompanied them on their many trips to the North. He has stuck close to the siblings ever since. | Kuragehime Acharnor of Rhûn | 45 | Male | Easterling | Leaning to Chaotic Evil
Acharnor is a tall man with olive complexion. His thick hair is straight and black and often worn in a low ponytail. His eyes are dark brown, though the color is only really noticeable in direct sunlight. His face and forearms are criss-crossed with scars from the "training" he has done, and he has one long scar across his chest. He wears what looks almost like a double-layered kimono. The innermost layer is a pale pastel yellow, and the layer above is a deep dark red. Both layers go down to just above his knees, and over them he wears a black robe that is a bit longer. He has crudely spiked charcoal grey armor on his shoulders and forearms, and wears thick leather gloves most of the time as well. He has a chain around his neck with a dragon's tooth dangling from it, and two small gold hoop earrings on one ear. His pants are a pale beige and his boots are dark grey with pointed steel toes. During battle, he wears a steel scaled chestplate akin to the normal Easterling army, and wields a halberd with skill. | Acharnor is a cold and calculating man, with virtually no moral compass. He does not hesitate in combat and will not so much as bat an eyelash as he burns down a town. | His family has been in the Easterling army for generations, and he heard much about Sauron and his goals as well as how the Easterlings were destroyed by the Men of the West in the War of the Ring. In result, he has vowed to exact revenge not only on Gondor but on all of the western kingdoms. | Despite his skills with the halberd, he alone is not much of a threat. However, he has a knack for taming dragons and other vile creatures and getting them to do his bidding. As was mentioned before, he is an Easterling from the land of Rhun, hailing from a small village near the inland sea. His steed is a fell beast, one he found hiding in the shadows of the nearby mountain range. | Kuragehime Eldacar Valandil Steward of Arnor | 82 | Male | Dunedain | Lawful Evil |
Eldacar has medium length brown hair, with blue eyes. He wears the traditional Arnorian armor, kept freshly polished, and clean. He also has his ornate sword, with has been passed down through his side of the family for generations now. | Eldacar is a loyal vassal to the King of Gondor, but sometimes believes that the methods the Kings of Gondor use are to weak to ever bring true peace to Middle Earth. He is a calm and calculated man, but brave as well. He cares for his soldiers that serve with him, and is often on the frontlines as well. | Eldacar is an expert swordsmen, spending most of his time training with the sword, and learning how to govern. He is also a capable General, having lead many expeditions against remaining Orc Strongholds in Gundabad, and Misty Mountains. | Eldacar grew up in the restored capital of Arnor, Annuminas. His father, Amlaith was the Steward of Arnor before him, but was ambushed in an Orc raid, a few years ago. Putting Eldacar in the Steward position. ((Will update more later.)) | Steward of Arnor | telirius Iszak Orgilion | 25 | Male | Neutral Good
Iszak stands a little taller than most men at 6'1", with a large stature, broad shoulders and pale skin with a hint of dusty olive tone to it. His hair is a dirty blonde/gingerish colour, and is kept short although can get into his eyes, and he does keep some facial hair grown out but overall stays well-groomed (at least when he has the luxury to do so). A tall oblong-shaped face with rounded cheekbones, a wide jaw, narrow monolided eyes almost give him an always-content and kind look that if it weren't for the facial hair and tall stature he might be mistaken for much younger than he is. Normally he wears very simple and functional clothing, but he really likes wear a brown furred coat that possibly the nicest piece of clothing he owns. | Iszak is a loyal friend and has a reputation for being a good person but he's distant, duplicitous, and doesn't seem to have any strict moral code. He comes across as friendly, kind, and selfless, but he's also secretive and easily capable of lies, deception, or any manner of shady things if it serves either his whims or to help anyone he considers a friend, he just makes sure not to be caught doing it. He picks his battles very carefully so these cases tend to be few and far between. Social and rarely on his own but again not very open with other people, though extremely reliable and resourceful he's often the quiet tag-along friend to a group. He's keenly observant, makes decisions carefully, and persuasive. | Archery, skilled with bows but often carries a crossbow instead, also skilled in hunting and navigation. | Born and raised in Gondor but has some Easterling ancestry. | Morior Maiar (Wizards)Melia the Blue | ??? | Female | Maia | Chaotic Neutral
Melia is tall, and just about as pale as a full moon. Her eyes are a dark brown, and her hair is black and ends just past her shoulder blades. She usually wears it down, with a strand falling on either side of her face. She wears a long flowing dress with long sleeves and a V-neck. The dress is a pale sky blue and fades to white at her feet. On top of this, she has a dark blue belt high on her waist, and her staff is silver with a purple jewel at the end. She wears a silver band on each wrist, and a deep blue sleeved cloak over everything. | Melia is a complicated individual. She has a very high opinion of herself and has a tendency to flaunt her skills when taking care of business. Nothing pleases her more than seeing the tormented faces of those she is sent to 'take care of'. She is sly and deceiving, doing her best to pry details from those around her while keeping them at arms' length from herself at the same time. | Melia has learned blackspeech, and you can sometimes hear her cursing in it under her breath. Some of her spells are in blackspeech as well. Her spells are mostly destructive, but she has taken to learning spells of healing as of late. | Melia is very secretive about her history and though she will drop hints about just how lengthy it is, she refuses to give out an actual number. However, she will let out little snippets of unimportant events, such as a person she once met or a fight she once won. She lived a lot of her early life in a northern port town and somehow made her way to Mordor. However, now that there is nothing left for her in Mordor she spends her days wandering and dropping in on acquaintances here and there. | Kuragehime Goblins/Orcs/Uruk-haiKorog| 24 | Male | East Orc/Uruk | True Neutral/Neutral GoodKorog is of the larger variety of orc, standing roughly 5’9 and heavily muscled, though still lean from the harshness of the East. He has the squashed, lumpy face common to his race, with a flat broad nose and small, yellow eyes with no discernible iris, just black pupils. His skin is an almost deathly shade of gray, always twisted in a scowl that makes him look perpetually angry, though it is a better alternative to smiling, as his twisted sharp teeth make that a disturbing sight. His body is covered in an array of scars, tokens of the east, and the index and middle fingers his left hand end at the knuckle, though he’s still able to wield most weapons without too much trouble as they were chopped off when he was very young and he’s used to fighting without them. Some say he’s actually an Uruk because of his oddly tall stature, a fact he will neither confirm nor deny because he truly doesn’t know. It’s not like he had nice orc parents to sit him down and tell him about his heritage. In fact, he doesn’t even know if he has parents to begin with, as far back as he can remember, he was alone. And he was quite the nasty orc back then too, raiding and fighting and stealing anything he could get his hands on. With his brute strength and orcish nature, that life came easy to him. That is, until one day he overstepped his boundaries and received a horrible wound to pay for it. Left for dead, he expected that would be the end. Not a big surprise, orcs weren’t exactly the most long-lived of creatures. What did come as a surprise was the human woman who saved him. In truth, she saw the big brutish orc as a potential asset, as she was growing older and with that growing in need of a body guard, but she wasn’t unkind to him. At first, she just taught him everything he needed to know to be a good guard, such as weapon techniques and about life debts so that he would remain loyal. However, after a while their bond grew and she began to teach him other things, such as language and to control his anger and even went so far as to give him a name. He became something of a son to her and the two were able to settle down almost, creating a simple mud house near a natural well. Others flocked there and they were able to create something of a small community in this wasteland, conserving and sharing resources and while it wasn’t exactly the most hospitable, it was something. Unfortunately, this also attracted raiders, one particularly large party destroying everything and killing the human woman Korog had befriended. In a fit of rage, he killed everyone in that party, reverting back to his orcish ways for revenge. When he saw what he had done, he knew he couldn’t remain in the east if he ever hoped to hold on to what the woman had taught him, so, clad in roughspun hooded robes, leather gloves, and a crude iron mask of his own making, he traveled to the west, claiming himself a human disfigured by a fire who could not show his face. And it is like this that he traveled, never staying in one place for long, though whether it is for fear that he will be discovered or fear that what happened to his village will happen again is unknown. | Dieselpunk
Mixed-RaceNerade of the House of Telcontar | 47 | Female | Human and Elven | Chaotic Good
Nerade is slightly taller than the average for humans and has fair skin due to being half-elven. Her hair is raven black and falls just to her shoulders. She leaves it down most of the time, but for formal/important occasions she will put it up. Her bangs are cut straight across her forehead, and her eyes are a greyish blue. Her favorite outfit is the standard Gondor knight armor with the White Tree on the chestplate, though hers is a bit "fancier". She also wears a black cloak with this, and a longsword on her waist. You will never see her wear a helmet, even in battle. Just as she will change her hairstyle for important occasions, her wardrobe changes as well. If the situation requires it she will wear a dress, but it will be replaced with armor as soon as the appointment is over. | Nerade is a very loud and enthusiastic person, always loving to poke fun at the people she's close to. However, she does know when she needs to act mature. She tends to get in the middle of fights, and fight she does. She is brave and daring, as well as prideful. But even though her pride sometimes gets in the way of her kindness, she is a sweet person... once you get past the sarcasm. She craves adventure, is very ambitious, and holds powerful grudges. | Nerade is skilled with the sword and many other bladed weapons but refuses to even touch a bow. She is very strong through her daily training and is good with horses. | Nerade and her brother Daerion were born to King Aragorn's son Eldarion while Eldarion was visiting Arnor in the North. They returned to Minas Tirith during their childhood, and were fairly free to pursue what they wanted. When the siblings were older they returned to the North with their father, but the trip ended in tragedy. A surprise attack on the royal family ended the trip early and only Nerade and Daerion survived mostly thanks to Teonvan. Since the event Nerade has been helping her brother rule Gondor. She got tangled up in the mess surrounding the second ring of power and commanded the troops of Minas Tirith in her brother's absence, though now she spends most of her time with the knights and Teonvan instead of the throne room. | Kuragehime Daerion of the House of Telcontar | 52 | Male | Human/Elven | Lawful Good
Daerion is a tall and lean man with chin length dark brown hair and grey eyes. His bangs are parted to either side of his face, falling lightly over his sharp features. He always wears a rather sullen look on his face, perhaps a result of the pressures of ruling such a large kingdom, or having a sister like Nerade. He wears armor fit for a king, with a large White Tree on his chest and a long cloak flowing behind him. He wears a longsword and a dagger on his waist and leather gloves on his hands. | He is much more serious than his younger sister Nerade, but just as goal-driven. He is the more intelligent of the siblings and always seems to be hiding something behind his stoic face. However, he is a fair ruler and the people are happy under his command. He has proven to be proficient in battle, cold and calculating. | Daerion specializes in swordsmanship, as mentioned before with the multiple blades he carries. He is also a good tactician, and is working on his ruling skills. | He suddenly had to take the throne after their father Eldarion was killed in a surprise raid in the north, and though the beginning of his career was rocky he has greatly improved. He was in the North during the events of the second ring and only returned shortly after reconstruction began on Minas Tirith. | Kuragehime Ragnar - (occasional alias is Dagnir/Slayer) | 1209 | Male | Dúnedain/Elven | Chaotic Good
Ragnar is relatively tall, standing at 6ft 6in, taller than quite a few others because he is part Dúnedain and part Elf. Ragnar has an oval shaped head with a defined, slightly pointed chin and a sturdy jawline. He looks like he’s 30 years old, though he’s a lot older than that. His face is usually held forward in a steady gaze, and has an air of authority that is palpable. He has messy, slightly long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and an almost faded splash of freckles on the bridge of his nose. Ragnar’s skin is marked with small scars, nothing so bad that it would damage his good looks, though. He has slightly thin eyebrows, usually raised up high in amusement, or pointed down sharply if something upsets him or makes him angry. He is usually either seen with a goofy grin on his face when he feels happy and at ease, a determined scowl when he is faced with a challenge or an opponent, or he takes up a brooding expression. Ragnar has slightly shorter than medium length, somewhat roughly trimmed facial hair. He likes to have it somewhat short, because he feels like it would look too wild if it's very much longer, and if it was trimmed nicer, it wouldn't look wild enough. He feels like it makes him look tougher, and, if it was possible, more attractive. He is a very tanned man with calloused hands, due to days and days out in the hot sun training, and fairly lean with a slightly higher than average, muscular build to himself. Ragnar’s body is really built more for speed than strength, due to him being part elf, but he isn't considered remotely weak at all, he’s won his fair share of fist fights, and his body is very durable and sturdy, meaning that he could really take on the hits before he gets worn out or beat up. Ragnar usually wears a loose fitting cotton shirt of varying colors with gauntlet like cuffs at the wrists, light chain mail armor, a dark brown leather tunic, padded black trousers, a black pair of boots, and a long, hooded green cloak. Ragnar wears a scabbard that is strapped diagonally across his back, holding his double-edged leaf bladed Hand-and-a-Half style sword. The sword is elven made and has a silver steel blade and bronze crossguard, hilt, and pommel. The blade is made of the finest steel, it stays sharp and cuts like butter. It never dulls, and it never breaks. A large, white gemstone is embedded in the pommel. Along both sides of the blade, in the elven language, the name of the sword is inscribed. It’s name is Ârcrist, or Kings Sword. On both sides of the crossguard, in a forgotten Dúnedain language, is the name of a forgotten Dúnedain King, Ragnar’s ancestor, who the elves forged the sword for thousands of years ago. The sheath is silver, and beautifully decorated. Intricate elven designs cover it. Inscribed at the top of the sheath is this: “Onlui i thand aran tur- rad- hi magol” or “Only the true King can find this Sword”, but there is an elven spell on the sheath that makes the statement unreadable. Ragnar found the sword and sheath in the rubble of an old, destroyed fortress. He doesn’t know the true heritage of the weapon. He also has a pair of curved elven short swords hanging from his left and right hip, the blades and handles of the short swords elegantly designed with elven symbols, a set of three large daggers hidden within his clothes, strapped to his chest, and a Galadhrim Longbow that hangs on his back, along with a quiver of arrows. Ragnar also has a horn that is attached to a rope, Ragnar either hangs it around his neck, or he hangs on his saddle. The elves gave him the horn to signal to them whenever he returns, so that they can throw a party and a large feast. | Ragnar is somewhat a fairly nice guy, but he has a slight anger problem, causing him to lash out at people he cares about, making him hurt people when he doesn't want to. This usually happens when he feels pressured or frustrated and when he feels like all hope is lost. He isn’t against hurting people, though. He is ruthless against anyone that he deems an enemy. He is a very loyal friend or ally, but if you betray him, it is hard to gain his trust back. He will hunt you down to the end of the earth if you betray or double cross him. To some, Ragnar acts like a hard, cruel man who would go to far lengths to get what he wants, and sometimes he will. But, once you get to know him, you realize that's not always the case. He is sometimes like a kid at heart, joking around with people and attempting to ease any tension during stressful days. Ragnar also has a slight alcohol problem, he just can't stop drinking it, and weirdly, and luckily, he hardly ever gets drunk. Ragnar also has a way with the ladies, since he's so attractive and charming, you know, that's what he tends to say, anyways, which is probably one of his jokes. He is a great singer, he is often the one who starts singing while at camp or while riding, heck he’s even sang while in a fight. He has a great range in pitch, can sing any song flawlessly. Ragnar is fairly carefree and reckless in nature, always using a little too much power or skill then the scenario needed, whether fighting against friend or foe, Ragnar doesn't know when to hold back. Ragnar is a very loyal ally, never backing down, even if victory is doubtful. Even though Ragnar is a fairly decent guy, he is willing to do fairly bad things for the greater good of his people and friends. | Swordsmanship, Tracking, and Charisma | Ragnar was born in Rivendell, his father was named Aeron, a Dúnedain who was fostered in Rivendell, and his mother was named Theriril, an Elf that lived in Mirkwood. Ragnar lived in Rivendell until Aeron and Theriril died when Ragnar was five, then Ragnar was moved to Minas Tirith, where Ragnar was fostered there for awhile before moving to Mirkwood, to live with his mothers people. When he came of age he left and became one of The Rangers of the North. Throughout his life, he has hunted down monsters, fought in wars, and helped keep the peace in Middle Earth. Ragnar fought in the Army of Gondor, helped lead the Rohirrim Cavalry in different wars, and fought alongside the elves. He spends most of his days traveling, in search of people to help and jobs to do. He tries to visit the elves as often as he can, since they are somewhat family to him. Ragnar was part of the group that set out to destroy the silver ring, but he got captured by a dark wizard. The wizard put a spell on Ragnar, which made him forget everything from the quest, and he was barely able to escape with his life. He is now trying to piece together the memories from the quest, though it is difficult. | Ragnar is one of the Rangers of the North. The blood of a forgotten Dúnedain king runs through his veins, unbeknownst to him, making him the long lost heir. A lot of times, Ragnar uses a false name, Dagnir, meaning Slayer. Ragnar has a house in Minas Tirith that he returns to here and there. He has clothes, armor, weapons, books and maps hidden away there, as well as gold that he acquired from different jobs. | Fireclaw
