Earwen smiled and chuckled to herself as she watched Minsy rush off. She then hurried off to her own home, making a mental list of things to bring along on the way. After not too long she had a small bag slung over one shoulder along with her bow and quiver. She strapped on a pair of knives as well, but hoped she wouldn't need them. Once she had triple-checked everything, Earwen set off for Minsy's hut.

Minsy had a little pouch in hand in which she was showing a myriad of dried herbs-something she left with before and found it useful and decided it may be useful again. She slipped off her smaller dagger sheath and tied it around her right thigh instead, putting on her sword sheath instead, the blade falling along her left hip. She hummed an old tune happily to herself as her eyes scanned the hut. She looks down at the little hedgehog who rolled up to her the grandson of Sebastian. "Yes, I am leaving again. But you will be just fine." She looked up. "Keep an eye on the forest for me while I'm gone. Sparrows, feel free to come find me if something does happen...not like I expect anything to." She added to the rest of the wildlife that liked to hang out around her little home.

Earwen approached the hut, and a smile came to her face as she saw all the wildlife that had gathered. She had visited the hut before, but the sight never ceased to amaze her. She gave a light knock on the doorpost before poking her head in the doorway. "I can see the forest will be in good hands while we are away," she said. She adjusted the strap of her bag on her shoulder. "I believe I've brought everything I will need, how are you doing?"

Eldacar nodded at the High King, "Let us head inside then." He said as he turned around. His royal guard accompanied him inside. He lead them to the main hall of the Palace, "What brings you up North?" He asked turning to face the King, "I have heard reports of East, though they are conflicting."

"Good, shall we set off then?" Earwen asked. She stepped back from the doorway and took a few more steps before waiting for Minsy. "Which direction did you want to go first? West, to the Shire? Ah, but we would need to cross through the mountains... perhaps pass by old Rivendell?"

"I am here mostly to observe the state of things in the North," Daerion explained as he followed Eldacar. "I have heard plenty from messengers describing your progress, but I wished to see it for my own eyes." A slight hint of a smile touched his lips and he took a moment to look around the hall. He sighed after a moment and gave a slight nod. "Yes, the East is a looming concern. The heart of Mordor has remained quiet, but we have received reports from the elves that the Easterlings are stirring northeast around the sea of Rhun."

twilightfire , telirius , Cloverleaf Ok, so I was brainstorming ideas with my brother (who is also a Tolkien nerd), and we came up with something to add to the plot of this rp: It may not be the most canon thing but that's ok]]Ok, so I've been getting back into reading The Silmarillion and I was thinking my dragon boi Acharnor could be a distant descendant of the original Big Bad Melkor who has awakened to this lineage, which would then give a reason for his dragon affinity and potentially balrogs. Then, to combat this, some of our 'good' characters could be chosen to be representatives/heroes of the Valar (example: like how Link in Legend of Zelda is the Chosen Hero of the goddess Hylia, she indirectly provides him with the power/tools he needs to fight Ganondorf). Each character chosen would then receive some sort of skill - idk if power would be a good word - from the Valar that chose them that would aid in the quest. For example: Let's say an elf is chosen by Manwë. Since Manwë is the king of the winds, this elf might always be favored by the winds - such as when they shoot an arrow the wind always carries it to the target, etc. They may not necessarily have full control over the element/power, and would not know until told (this gives me an excuse to write a prophecy hehe). Or if Estë chooses someone, since she is the Lady of Healing and Rest then whoever she chooses would have exceptional healing abilities or something. I'll put up a list of the Valar on the front page, but we don't have to have every single one of them choose someone. That'd be like 14 people in total xD So yeah, let me know what you think! ^_^

Minsy instantly relaxed at the thought of Minas Tirith. Nerade was one of a few faces she yearned to see, and she hoped the ruler of Gonder would be in the white city. "Yes. That path would be just as nice to take, if not nicer." She admitted, a small smile lighting up her face

"Rivers are quite nice," Earwen said. She walked alongside Minsy as they set out through the trees, the feeling of butterflies in her stomach getting stronger with every step. "It's strange, I'm actually starting to feel a bit nervous," she admitted with a laugh. "I haven't taken a step outside the forest since... well, since everything happened," she murmured.

"Ah. The good old days, really. Made me realize how much I dislike being trapped by wood and obligations. It's so much freer out in the world, Earwen. There's danger and there's mischief but there's also companionship and comradery that we seem to lack now days in the forest." Minsy let out a small laugh, allowing herself to be swept up in her own personal, internal river called nostalgia. "What was the craziest thing you did out there?"

"I don't disagree with that," Earwen chuckled and clasped her hands behind her back again as she walked. "Hmm..." she hummed. "Well, I can think of many. Many. Crazy things," she said. "First and foremost I would say carrying a ring of power into Mordor is a pretty crazy thing to do, and everything I did after that as well," she said in answer to her friend.

I was talking with my dad today and he goes, "you should just bring back Melkor himself and make it all apocalyptic" and I'm just like dad pls I already considered that but still]]
"Mordor? Yes, it was dreadfully hot," Earwen said rather bluntly. "I don't know how or why anyone in their right mind would wish to stay there... but then, it could be that I was just too used to the coolness of the forest. The orcs and creatures there looked like they didn't notice at all - even as I got closer to Mount Doom," she went on, shaking her head.

)) "Oh I don't know it kind of grew on me after a little while." Minsy chuckled. The only thing she couldn't stand was the numerous orcs that prowled like fleas on a deer. The heat was uncomfortable but she found herself missing it at times. "I just couldn't stand the orcs." She mused outloud my cat is laying on the back of my couch behind me snoring so loud))

the average cat is 7-9 pounds...my cat is 16 pounds XD so when he lays on his back he snores louder because of his fat. But he's also a super long cat I measured him from tail tip to nose once and I'm pretty sure it was close to 3 feet)) Minsy thought for a moment. She always found herself to be the wild type but the more she thought about it, the more she realized there was only one thing that came to mind. "Probably when I became a personal servant for the return of Minas Morgul." She sighed. The sparrows will never let me live that one down... she snickered to herself, the bird's constant chirping laughter ever echoing in her ears

One of my kitties is around that weight, but she's not long, she's just round. The poor thing just rolls around when she tries to groom herself xD]]
"Minas Morgul... Ah yes, I think I remember that," Earwen murmured softly. "That is indeed a crazy feat." She nodded and watched the clouds float by overhead. "Speaking of that, I wonder how Melia is doing... I remember she was at Minas Tirith for a while but then disappeared without notice. I always wondered how you managed to mixed up with her and that other wizard," she said, quickly glancing around them to make sure the Maiar hadn't decided to sneak up on them.

round cats are the funniest little creatures on the planet)) Minsy sighed. "I was rather fond of them to be honest. They really are decent people once you get to know them." A slight smile touched her lips at the thought. "But yes now that you mention it I haven't heard some either one of them in quite some time. I wonder if you could come across them someday in our travels." Minsy reached her arms above her head and stretched.
