I'm a high school senior now but I kinda skipped over that grade so I guess you could call me a college freshman too)) I love the quotes around "adult" Hime adulting is a challenging thing)) I'll probably plant Minsy somewhere in Middle Earth XD I guess Eryn Lasgalen would be most logical for her though)) xD]] Yes, adulting is very challenging... what even is an adult? I haven't figured that out yet... my friends and brother keep saying I'm actually still just a 12 year old inside, so... ]] Ok, sounds good! Maybe she and Earwen can meet up? Also, I'm definitely gonna forget to call Mirkwood Eryn Lasgalen in the future, so here's an early warning xD]]

xD]] Sweet! Shall we start then? *drum roll*]]
Earwen was sitting atop a large rock overlooking the river that flows through Eryn Lasgalen. It was midday with a slight breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Though the rock the elf was sitting on was in the shade, the river left enough of a break in the trees to let in a flood of sunlight that was rare amongst the trees. She let out a sigh, fingers curling around the bow resting on the rock beside her. It had been weeks, months even since she'd seen a spider in the forest, but one could never be too certain.

I'm so excited for this ^.^))
Minsy was standing high up in a tree, overlooking the river. Her eyes scanned the ground for any sort of movement, be it friend or foe. The woods of Eryn Lasegalen seemed so barren lately. She rarely saw any Elves anymore, nor any travelers. It tended to be just her and the wildlife in the old cabin she had grown up in. Minsy earned to be back out in the world again, travelling, fighting, befriending all sorts of people and creatures. But she had a duty to the forest that she insisted she carry out.

Me too! ]] Sorry for the slow replies >_<]] tfw you click post reply but then an error happens and you have to retype EVERYTHING]]After a few more deeps breaths, Earwen decided it was time to move on once more. She got to her feet and reached her arms up in a long stretch before reaching down again to retrieve her bow and quiver. She slung the two over one shoulder before fixing a couple strands of hair, and with one last glance up at the blue-grey sky and turned to head back into the forest. A soft rustling caught her attention and she spun around only to smile and breathe a sigh of relief, as the sound had only been coming from a young deer.

You're all good ^.^))
You've been hacked
Minsy noticed movement below, her eyes squinting against the glare of the river to see what was going on on the ground level. What she noticed made her smile with joy. She tipped backwards, falling from her perch. The leaves smacked against her, slowing her descent as she fell to avoid a smushed Elf when she landed. Minsy brushed the twigs out of her wild hair and set off towards her desired location...she had spotted an old friend Wonder who that could be *cough*Earwen*cough*

Earwen had taken a few steps closer to the deer, scanning the ground for stray twigs so she wouldn't scare it off, and took a moment to watch it. Suddenly, however, the deer's ears perked up and it stared at something behind Earwen before trotting off into the forest. Earwen raised an eyebrow and turned. One hand reached for her bow, thinking a spider had come up behind her, but then it dropped once she saw the true culprit. "Minsy!" she exclaimed in surprise. "You know, I was enjoying watching that deer," she added, crossing her arms. whaaat I coulda sworn you were referring to Melia xD

Alrighty, I think I'll send the siblings up!]]
"Nerade, glaring at the sky will do nothing to change the weather," Daerion said with a tired voice, glancing over at his sister. He let out a sigh before facing forward on his horse once more. "You should keep your eyes on the ground before you." "I am full aware of that, brother," Nerade replied with crossed arms. "I was just amazed at how the weather could change so drastically between the Shire and here." She brushed some hair from her face before giving her horse a pat on the neck as they rode at a leisurely pace. "About how much longer before we arrive at Annúminas?" Now it was Daerion's turn to gaze skyward. He narrowed his eyes and looked at the landmarks surrounding them as well as the river to one side. "We shall be there before nightfall."

Eldacar stood inside the Palace of Kings, the palace that Annuminas was known for, "The High King will be here by nightfall, let's make sure everything is in order." He said to those in the throne room. Dunedain Knights stood guarding the palace, in their almost blinding armor.

Sorry for the late reply! >_<]]
After the two siblings and their entourage had ridden for a while longer, Daerion peered into the distance. The group was now making their way around the hills bordering the capitol city with Lake Evendim to their right. He sent two riders ahead of the rest of the group to announce their arrival. "We are here, Nerade," Daerion spoke. "Yes, I can see that very clearly now," Nerade responded. "Is that the palace up ahead? It's been so long since I've seen it! Well, it's been long since I've been up here at all..." she went on, her voice trailing off at the end.

Eldacar stood in front of the palace, flanked by Dunedain Knights, bearing the colors of Arnor. Lines of troops stood along the street, making it a royal welcoming, showing off the Arnorian military. Eldacar stepped forward, kneeling to the King as he approached, the Dunedain knights followed his example, "High King, it is an honor." He said.

Earwen let out a soft chuckle. "Of course they are, the ranking has changed since I've last seen you," she replied. She clasped her hands together behind her back and took a few steps over to Minsy. "I have been doing well, to put it simply," she said with a slight nod. "And how are you Minsy?"
~~~
Daerion dismounted his horse and handed the reins to the accompanying soldiers before making his way over to Eldacar, his eyes scanning over the Dunedain Knights as he passed. He took no time to wait for his sister before speaking. "Greetings, Eldacar," he said, inclining his head. "We are honored as well, that you would prepare such a welcome for this last minute visit of ours." Nerade soon came to stand beside her brother and looked up to the steward. The light of excitement was in her eyes as she offered a smile and a slight bow in greeting. "I believe this is our first time meeting. I am Nerade, I do not know if my brother has mentioned me before."
Earwen's gaze went up to the trees around them and she smiled. "Yes, I am glad to see it growing past the traumas it has endured," she said. Looking back at Minsy she let out a short sigh. "I will admit I too have thought about the outside world here and there. Mostly the friends I left behind, I wonder how they are all faring. My desire to explore has been more than satiated," she went on.
Minsy sighed. "I want to go back someday Earwen. I want to find Nerade and Teovan and the whole gang and go adventuring again. I want to return to Morder and see how this new era has affected it." She smiled softly to herself, falling deeper and deeper into her little nostalgia
Earwen leaned back against a tree and closed her eyes for a moment. Everything came flashing back to her as she went through her memories and she smiled. "Yes, it would be nice to see them again," she said. A brief stinging pain shot through her ring finger at the mention of Mordor but it passed soon enough. She let out a chuckle. "Look at us, getting all wistful like this. Nerade would be teasing us right now," she said.
)) "Oh yea. I could almost picture it." Minsy gave a goofy grin. "We are being very unelflike Earwen. Such a disgrace to the rest of our people...Ok is it just me or are there fewer and fewer Elves every time I blink? It's like I barely run in to anyone anymore...not like many people came by the hut anyways." She added wistfully. Minsy spent most of her days checking on the forest creatures, and usually talking to them.
Eldacar stood up to look at the King, "It would've been more fancy if we had more time." He gave a shrug with a smile, "It was the best we could do. Borders to keep secure and all that." He said. He looked to Nerade, "Your brother has spoken of you, but we haven't met. Eldacar Valandil." He said with a bow, introducing himself, "Shall we head inside, your grace?"
Earwen chuckled and then nodded. "Yes, I feel the same way. There are many still living in the core of the Woodland Realm where my home is, but they are not as numerous as in the past. I believe most are making the journey to the West." She paused, her gaze fixing on a leaf floating to the ground. "I would be lying if I said I hadn't felt the temptation to make the journey as well... but then my friends would probably never forgive me," she added with a smile.
~~~
Nerade raised her eyebrows. "It would have been more fancy?" she murmured. She noticed a look from her brother and shrugged. "What? I am impressed! Am I not allowed to express that?" She turned back to Eldacar and smiled. "Well, is is a pleasure to finally meet you!" she said. Daerion let out a discreet sigh and let Nerade do her talking. Once she was finished, he finally spoke up. "Yes, let's head inside," he answered.

Minsy looked at Earwen intently. "No I must say we would never forgive you." She was moderately joking. The idea of having someone else she was close to journey off was almost unbearable. I need to become more open to change... Minsy mused to herself. "I would like to see all of Middle-Earth, every last crevice, before I even vaguely considering leaving." She nodded, mostly trying to persuade herself nothing could make her leave.

"That sounds like a fine goal to me," Earwen said to her friend. Perhaps it was because they were talking face to face now for the first time in a long time, but suddenly she was regretting her temptations to journey west. She chuckled to herself and crossed her arms. The company of a good friend was one she now realized she did not want to give up just yet, it only took her a few hundred years to discover this. "You've even gotten me a little intrigued," she added.

Minsy looked hopeful for a heartbeat. "Come with me then Earwen. Let's leave this lonely forest and strike out across the world today. Maybe head back to Gondor. Visit Poppy all the way over in The Shire. Stand on the burning edge of Mount Doom. See the lands north and south." There was that old adventurous twinkle in her gaze at this point

"T-Today? Well, that's a little sudden..." Earwen mumbled, tapping her fingertips together. She fell silent for a moment as she mulled over the idea, not wanting to admit to her sudden nervousness. She looked back at Minsy and caught the adventurous and hopeful twinkle in her friend's eyes and let out a short sigh. "Alright, let's go. I just need to gather up a few things," she said with a smile.

Minsy tried not to jump around in excitement. "Oh yes! You are truly the best." She flashed a smile. "Meet me in the hut in an hour." She let out a quick, shrill whistle. The Ruskabell Rabbits and their little sled shot out from the undergrowth and hurtled past. Minsy reached out her hand and grabbed on to it, disappearing into the trees towards her little humble home
