June shrugged. "I don't there's anything we can do to stop them." She answered, a bit defeated. "But I want the pictures of Katty everyone sees to not be the ones pirated from us in an unexpected moment." June had been thinking about this for awhile, going back and forth with what she wanted to do. "Do you think they'd be discouraged if I put out some of my own pictures of Katty?" She had tons, and tons, and tons of pictures. While her favorites were kept in the shoebox she'd given to Kaden, there was a lot more where that came from. Even the weird baby pictures where they're in a mixing bowl and stuff. Other than landscapes, Katty was pretty much the only thing June photographed, and she hadn't done the former in a while.

Kaden raised an eyebrow. "You want to put your own pictures of her out there? Like, over Twitter or something?"

"Is that stupid?" She questioned. "I just thought, maybe if there's already some out there, people would stop caring about the ones in the tabloids." June answered. "It was just an idea... I wouldn't know about it either way."

"No no, it's not stupid," Kaden assured her, shaking his head. "I just wanted to make sure I was tracking with you." He glanced at Katty in the rearview mirror to make sure that she was doing all right. "I think that might actually be a good idea. We could get you an official account on some social media site, and a few pictures every week should keep people sated. Why pay for blurry tabloid photos if you get real and cute first-hand ones."

"Yeah." June agreed. "It's better than being bombarded, even if I do want to keep Katty's life private." It was really a 'lesser of two evils' kind of situation. Not pleasant, but it could be worse. Katty looked like she was about to fall asleep, and June felt a pang in her stomach that her five year still couldn't stay up a whole day. How was Kindergarten going to go, with no naps at all?

(What kind of kindergarten did you go to? I definitely remember having nap time every day!)
Kaden raised June's hand to his mouth and kissed it. "Don't look so petulant. It'll be okay. We'll make it a family thing. I have a Twitter account; agents very firmly suggest one for any celebrity. We'll just add a few more things about you and Katty every once in awhile. She's gonna be just fine, June."

Well, I've been homeschooled my whole life, but my cousin didn't get naps, at it was an all-day public school Kindergarten. Since my mom teaches PreK currently, it's been discussed whether or not they would have naps there too.)
"Fine..." June echoed quietly. They really would be, and it was easy to imagine living here with Kaden every day. It was sunny and warm, they're was a beach less than an hour away and Katty didn't seem to have many roots back home. The little girl enjoyed learning, and a good school would be immensely important to keep that interest alive. Katty was out now, dead to the world. June had become an expert at picking her up without waking her, so she wasn't going to discourage the sleep.

(Whoa, weird! Ha ha. Poor little kiddies. Of course, it was about a decade and a half ago when I had kindergarten nap time, so I wouldn't be too surprised that things are different now.)
Kaden glanced at her quickly. "Don't you believe me?" He turned her hand and pressed another kiss to her wrist, enjoying the feel of her warm skin against his lips--but not too much to be too distracted from the road. "This is our next chapter. We're all three of us going to be fine. You'll see." Under his breath, he added, "We might just get that happily ever after."

She smiled a bit. "Hmm... I think we're working a Cinderella story at the moment." June commented. The rags to riches scenario that was captured in fairy tales and Mark Twain's spinoffs was actually happening her life, except that wasn't why she was happy. She had her daughter, and Kaden, and was finally starting to build a wonderful life with him, it looked like.

Kaden just started laughing. "That would make me Prince Charming. Are you sure that's the story you wanna go with?!" he asked. He couldn't quite picture himself with the crown and the gloves and the ball for all the eligible ladies in the kingdom. He chuckled again and shook his head. "On second thought, it's not so bad, as long as you're my Cinderella, I'm happy." Before the moment could get too mushy, he said, "So, Cinderelly. Where to now? Home? Out to lunch? The toy store? Take your pick, the kingdom is yours!" he joked.

June laughed. "Unless you want to go ride the tricycles while your daughter sleeps in the cart, I think we'll have to skip the toy store." June answered. The little girl was officially dead to the world, each breath sighing a bit. Though buying way too many toys at the toy store definitely seemed like something Kaden wanted to do, it would probably be more fun if the charge was conscious and got to pick some of her toys.

(o.o Dude. I just realized that I don't know Kaden's middle name. I mean, I guess it's not really a big deal, but usually I have a middle name at least secretly picked out for my characters. But I don't have one for him! Gasp!)
Kaden glanced again in the mirror to look at Katty. "It's almost a crime not to let everybody see pictures of her. She's too stinking cute. Poor tired baby. Home it is."

I'm not the only one that gives them middle names? Sweet! June Hope Hawthorne. Katty Grace Wilde. Violetta Celestinetta Lucca (Italian character I've had for awhile. Her name is too long, but I like it.) June and Katty's middle names are both virtues because my characters almost always have matching something if they're related.)
"I'm still surprised she crashed." June mentioned. Instead of being a good, law-abiding citizen, June unbuckled and turned around in her seat to get a picture of Katty. The sun had turned her raven curls a blue-ish tint, and you could tell the mark of a long day in her falling out pig tails. It didn't look polished like all the posed pictures that celebrities usually put out, but she'd already picked the perfect caption: 'No pictures please, the paparazzi tires me out.'

"I don't have all your passwords, Kaden!" June objected. "I just sent it to your phone. You can figure out how to do all that when we're home."
Sorry for being gone ages!)

(It's okay! I forgot to like your post anyway.)
Kaden chuckled. "They should add that to the typical marriage vows. 'I promise to love you and cherish you, and to give you all my passwords.'" He turned into his own neighborhood. Finally. "Should we wake her up, or let her keep napping?" he asked as the house came into view.

The blonde rolled her eyes, snickering. "Right after that should be 'And respect their choice in T.V. shows." June glanced back at Katty again, gauging whether or not a short nap was really enough. "Let's wake her up... I'm fine if she falls back asleep though." She answered.

"But then nobody would have anything to fight about," Kaden joked. He smiled and pulled to a stop in the long driveway. He gout out and managed to get Katty out of her car seat much more easily than he got her into it. "Did you have a good nap, baby girl?" he whispered, even though she couldn't hear him. "What do we think about pizza and a movie tonight?"

Katy scrunched her nose as she woke up. First she fell asleep, then they wouldn't let her stay asleep. It was all very frustrating. And where was mommy? She liked daddy okay, but mommy was not allowed to up and her! The sour face continued while Kaden made his way to the door, right up until June was in her line of sight.
"Hmm.... Sounds good to me." June answered. "Did you have a movie in mind? Netflix or Redbox?"

Kaden couldn't see Katty's expression, but t probably would have made him laugh. He unlocked the door and pushed it open, then stepped aside to let June through first. "Whatever you want. I have a pretty good collection here, too."

Mommy wouldn't save her either. What was with these people?!
"Have you bought every movie ever made?" June asked. "Or just the cheesy ones like 'Sharknado'? Because your taste in movies has been questionable at times...." She teased.
Sorry for short post. I got called into work, and now I'm exhausted.)

(Don't worry about it. Being tired isn't really a good motivation to rp. And it's never fun to get called in on your day off!)
"I would never buy Sharknado!" Kaden argued, horrified by the thought. He followed June in and shut the door before setting Katty down. "What did you think of the school, princess?" he signed. It was entirely out of the question, of course, but he wanted her to feel like she was part of the decision-making process, at least.

Katty shrugged. "The man was mean." She answered simply. He'd been cold and clinical, and sort of rubbed Katty the wrong way with his faux kindness. "I don't want to go to school." She announced.
My work is really nice. They don't tell you to come in, they ask. But they were really short handed and called after the shift would've started, so even though I was tired I said yes.)

(Aww, how nice of you. Ha ha.)
Kaden laughed at that pronouncement. "Maybe just not that school," he signed back to her. "Why don't you help me pick out a game to play until supper time?"

Katty yawned a bit, considering. "What games do you have?" She asked curiously. It would be nice to play some new ones.
(Let me know when you're leaving so I don't wait too long to go to bed, okay? We haven't had a "live" rp session in awhile, I don't want to end it too early by going to bed right now.)
