Hey-o! This is where we can rp from now on. If you don't want to continue our plot, that's perfectly fine, no hard feelings. A lot of people are using the original forums shutting down as a sign to quit altogether, and cut ties. In a bit, I might open this up to the public in a little bit, to get back what I had before. Otherwise, I'm copy-and-pasting my last posts to all of you here, so we can continue. ValkoinenLeuka: (I might have to call you Val, for short. ) I think it was your turn to respond, but I'll find my post from the original forums in a second. Poppy: Did you want a new plot? You seemed unhappy with our previous dialogue. Holly: You haven't responded yet. Storm: Greysyn blushed a bit, realizing this could be the end of their conversation as she tried to form a response. She rubbed the back of her neck a bit, awkwardly. "Yeah... But the advisor wasn't having anything of it. Said I couldn't prove I needed one, which I guess is true." She answered. Most were under the impression that people only got a service animal if their disability affected their quality of life. This is mostly true, but, Greysyn was very humble, and often didn't answer that particular question accurately enough to sate picky people. She usually left her battles for her friends to fight for her. Not in an effort to hide, but mostly shying away from conflict. Her dog, Raven, however, would need to be allowed into a dorm room. When her resolve crumbled, she wasn't sure how to respond anymore.

Nothing. Just was t sure where to start)
Zane looked around. He was hoping to meet up with Violetta before they were shipped off again. He sighed and stood as his social worker came to get him. Looking around I me more he went inside. Zane wasn't looking forward to yet another home, with yet another family who didn't care about him. Yes, he knew that he should look on the bright side and stop being so negative but if it's all you know you can't help but think that way. Zane sat down as his social worker began to explain who the family was that was taking him in. He honestly wasn't listening that much.

Holly: Darn. Missed you Holly. I have to go to bed. Here's the post from the original forums, unless you want to skip.) June hopped into the passenger seat, glancing back at Katty again really quick as Kaden pulled out. They couldn't sign most of the ride, so Katty would be in almost radio silence for a bit. val: Here's the post from earlier!) The choke-hold on her heart lessened when Aarow doubled back for her. At first, she'd thought he left and immediately started wondering what she'd done wrong. Her mom never told her what she did wrong, which meant she could never do right, and then she just stayed upset all around. "Thanks." She murmured, hoping to encourage him. @poppy: I'll reply in the morning. I have to sleep! The others are getting posts I wrote and posted earlier.)

"Of course." Aarow replied quietly, heading to the frozen food aisles. He wasn't certain if he should check under the desserts section, but that seemed to make the most sense since there seemed to be no frozen imports area. He started to lead her down the aisle, looking side to side to try to find anything that said 'mochi.'

(I'm definitely not opposed to the idea of skipping. I'm just not sure what we would skip to? Do you have ideas?)
Kaden waved to Katty quickly, then spun around and put the car into reverse to back out of the driveway. "Okay, navigatoress. How exactly do we get to this school?" he asked. He was still on cloud nine from being called Daddy. Today was a fantastic day. You know, besides that little morning kerfuffle.

(Not really, but I don't know if I want to rp a meeting. Seems boring. We could have another run with the paparazzi?)
That little, tiny, minuscule detail... That was still leaving June a bit wary. It didn't stop her from laughing at 'navigatoress'. Kaden was always making up words. Off-spring, however, had to be the worst. Katty calling Kaden daddy had to have been great for him. June almost wished she'd filmed it.
Anna was still trailing after Aarow, feeling a bit out of place. At least they were almost done, though, right? It wouldn't be too much longer. She waited a beat, letting him look, before asking, "Should we ask someone where it might be?"
Violetta straightened herself, leaning on forearm crutches lazily as she waited outside her social worker's office. The receptionist had told her that Zane was being briefed now, and she'd be next. She wasn't hopeful though. The raven haired girl never ended up in good foster homes and she was plenty old enough to care for herself. If she could get out of the system, it would only be for the better.

Zane came out a few minutes later. He saw Violetta and smiled. "Hey, there you are." He smiled going and hugging her "It's been too long." He said looking at her with a huge smile. Zane brushed his blond hair from his face as he looked at her up and down "Wow. I can't believe we made it out." He said

"Only a few weeks." Violetta objected, an amused smiled on her face. Zane acted like one day was forever, let alone the almost-month they'd been apart most recently. "If only we were out of the system entirely." She replied.

Zane smiled "Still. Those few weeks... Well they weren't the best. At least not by me. What about you?" He asked "I know that we want out. I want it a lot actually. Soon we will. Soon." He said looking at Violetta.

Argh. My mom is making me get off... At least we got a few posts in!)
Violetta simply shook her head. "I spent one week the hospital, actually." She admitted with a tight voice and downcast eyes. Neither of them had phones, so unless they lived near each other, they were left out of the loop. The olive skinned girl had been beaten to a bloody pulp two weeks ago, thankfully without a lot of lasting damage. No bruises were still visible on her face, which explained why Zane hadn't noticed. "Two more years..."

Zane sighed closing his eyes "I'm sorry Violetta. I didn't know." He said. Zane hugged her for a moment. He didn't mention that he had gone to the hospital, been in for a couple days but got out before he was ready. The family didn't want to pay for his treatment anymore. He took a breath feeling a pain in his ribs. He ignored it. "It'll be better in this home. It has to be right?"

"It should be here..." Aarow mumbled, looking around a moment longer before opening the freezer door. "I overlooked it twice." He admitted with a weak smile. He pulled the box down from the shelf. "Let's head to the register."

June almost wished she'd filmed it. (Ha ha, I'm 100% with you on that! Okay, we could have paparazzi ambush them as they come out of the school? Start getting all excited about the life decisions they expect June to make even though she hasn't made her own decision yet and then the school gets all upset and oohthepossibilities! Ha ha ha.)
Making up words was just one of his many charms. "Many" as in, like, two or three, maybe three and a half if he was lucky and in good lighting. [Sometimes I really crack myself up! Anyway, moving on.] Kaden would have loved it if she had filmed the moment, but that was just as well. It wasn't like you was going to forget. He just hoped that he'd be able to explain to Katty someday exactly how much it had meant to him. "Also, this feels like a very adult thing to do, meeting with a principal? Does this stuff make you nervous? Like, are there questions we're supposed to ask? Am I old enough for this?"

Holly: That'd totally work. Let's finish the ride though... Kaden asked some good questions. )) Katty pretty much already knew. Otherwise, he wouldn't have tried to squeeze her to death. Why do mommies and daddies always do that? They didn't like it when her usual problems made it to where she couldn't breath, only to cause it themselves? June snickered. "No, you're not old enough. Since I'm a whole twelve day older, congratulations, I'm the one doing the talking." She replied. "Really, I just want to see their procedures and what Katty would need help with. I want to see if she'll need an interpreter herself, or if the school provides one, and basically try to see if it'll measure up to an actual Deaf school." She tried to fill him in. "I'm going to bore Katty and apparently you, too, completely out of your skulls, and be so overprotective that I'll probably ask weird questions that don't even pertain." val: "I would've overlooked it a lot more than just a few times." Anna answered, joking. "So it's obviously okay." (Sorry this one is short. Not sure what else they can do in a grocery store, and I didn't want her to go back into her head at the moment.) @poppy: "It is what it is. I'm not hopeful." Violetta replied, sighing. Zane was always a little too optimistic, but it's probably what made them a good pair. She would have skipped out a long time ago if it wasn't for his persistence.

(Okay!)
That made Kaden laugh. "Thanks for taking this one in all your elderly wisdom, grandma," he joked, grinning over at her for a second before turning his eyes back to the road. His eyebrows slowly rose higher and higher. "Yikes, that is a lot of questions! So this one isn't a deaf school?" he asked. He held up a hand. "Whoa now. Don't go embarrassing our kid by being overbearing before she even knows enough to be embarrassed by overbearing mothers."

June shook her head. "Not this one. The closest primarily Deaf school is about an hour away -I'll get to go to that one later in the week. It's a private school though, so I wanted to see if there was something comparable." At Kaden's other comment, she simply laughed. "Hey, it's better than ignoring her!" She objected. "She can be thankful later, that I cared so much for her wellbeing. After she stops being annoyed, and embarrassed."

"I guess, but I was the one who was supposed to find it. It wasn't your responsibility." Aarow replied quietly with a small shrug. At least she was understanding. "Anyway, lets go pay for these." He said, putting his hand on her arm again to guide her. Of course, this meant he had to balance everything else in his other arm.

Kaden wrinkled his nose. Who wanted to spend an hour getting to or from school every day? It was bad enough having to go to school in the first place. "Yuck. I'd sooner move than have to drive an hour to get her to school. Besides, what if all her friends live closer to the school than us? That's no fun." Maybe the non-deaf school wasn't such a bad often after all. IF she would be able to understand the lessons and not get teased by jerks. Jerks came in all ages.

June responded. "Especially if I could get a job with hours that allowed it." She felt awkward, talking to Kaden about getting a job here, but her main reasoning was her own pride and fear. She didn't want to be left stranded -unlikely as it may be. And she didn't want to laze around all day as a trophy wife. Even if no friend or family thought that, the rest of the world would.

Anna nodded, not really sure how to respond. The lights in the store were starting hurt her eyes, and she wished she brought her sunglasses with her on this walk. She'd have a headache by the time they made it home.

"It would," Kaden insisted. "Besides, that's a lot of gas, don't you think? Plus, that's two hours more every day that we don't get to play with her." He shook his head firmly. "I don't like it. If we like a school, we'll move. My house is too 'Rockstar Crib' anyway." He glanced over to aee what she thought of that. His place was cool, and it had all the fun stuff like a pool and music equipment and surround-sound, but it wasn't exactly comfortable and homey. It could be fun to get a brand new house and make it a home with her. Maybe even a little one, in a neighborhood wjere nobody would think to look for them, and they'd have a dog and lilac bushes and a kiddie pool in the back yard, one with a slide that led right into it. The idea made him smile, and he kept thinking of little details to add to the tiny dream house. June's speaking again pulled him back. Of course she wanted a job; he expected nothing less. "You haven't started looking for jobs already too, have you? This is supposed to be a vacation, remember?"

June's eyes widened at the thought. "I've been here a day, Kaden. I'm not that miraculous." She pointed out. "Katty is always first." The blonde reminded him. She hadn't even put feelers out for a job. To her, it had seemed obvious that a school would be first. That was really just 'mom intentions' though. "I don't mind driving her, even though, sure, there will be some wasted moments in there somewhere. But you shouldn't have to uproot over that." Sure, June would be bringing in a tiny minuscule amount compared to Kaden's job, but it wasn't really about that.

Kaden laughed. "Sure, Katty comes first, but donmr pretend you're not an overachiever. You very well could have been looking for jobs already," he teased. He difhed. "Ideally, we'd be able to find a place that's about an equal distance between school and the studio. But an HOUR?" He shook his head. "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it, how about that?"
(Sorry for all the spelling errors lately. I decided it was past time I finally figured out the stupid keypad on this phone, so I turned ofd autocorrect, but it's stull a struggle, and I don't always see my mistakes.)
