(Blegh. This is kinda short but it's just what came out. Anyway, he's free if anyone wants)
Levi Rue was in the forge, as he almost always was. The counselor of the Hephaestus cabin was a predictable creature. He was found, almost always, in the forge, his cabin, or his favorite tree. Today it was the forge, and he'd easily been there since two or three in the morning. By now, his hair was wet with sweat and his skin was covered in oil... His clothes were covered in both. He grunted as he put the finishing touches on the sword he was working on.
Twenty campers.
He glared at his workstation, the abandoned projects on it. Twenty campers his work couldn't save. Most likely dead, he knew, but he didn't say that. No, whenever anyway asked, he assured them that they would be found safe and alive and brought back to camp soon.
Twenty failures.
He may not have contributed directly to them disappearing, but all he could think of was Arlo. Arlo Anderson. The sweetest son of Apollo that Levi had ever met. The two had been as close as two friends could be, even going out on their first quest together. It was only a year ago that they'd went on another quest together. Arlo had volunteered to test one of Levi's knew works - a ring that turned into a shield. When they'd come across an enemy archer, Arlo had pulled out the ring, but it got stuck when it was unfolding and he'd been impaled by an archer. He could still barely look the Apollo kids in the eye.
Levi glared at the ring and continued with his work, letting out a string of swears when he cut himself. The son of Hephaestus frowned as he dropped what he was working on and grabbed a towel from nearby. He balled it up in one hand and pressed it against the wound on his other hand, biting his lip as he exited the forge and blinked in the bright sunlight.

- Archie Jacos had been up for awhile. She enjoyed seeing the sunrise, all the beautiful colors suddenly flood the sky and bask in the silence of the morning, before the camp began to bustle with activity. But the sunrise was long ago and now the camp was busy. Campers moved through the camp like little worker ants, and even though it was pretty full, Archie was aware of the gap. The gap of twenty campers missing. Her heart ached for them and she empathized with them. Her mind flashed back to her freshman year of high school, when she was kidnapped from her class. A shiver went down her spine. Archie was eager to find out what happened to those twenty campers, especially her younger half-sister. Once more her heart hurt. Nova was only three years younger than Archie, but she still felt like a baby sister who needed to be cared for. Her throat tightened and she swallowed the lump forming. I'm fine, she's fine. We will find Nova and everything will be fine, Archie thought to herself. Looking for any distraction, Archie headed outside, letting the door swing shut behind her. She had every intention of going to the training grounds to disperse some of her stress. It was likely she would get distracted along the way, possibly bump into a friend or see someone in need of some help, but her intent was to train. The summer sun beat down from above, and Archie brushed a hair off her neck, which had begun to sweat. Archie then stopped and seemed at a cross roads. She pulled her red locks up into a ponytail while she pondered. The forest was very close and the dark canopy of the trees promised an escape from the beating rays of the sun. Then there was the training grounds where she probably should actually be going. The forge puffed out smoke ahead of her, the talent of Hephaestus' children intrigued Archie, but she decided not to go and bother them, sometimes they could be irritable when unwanted guests entered their forge. Her gaze roamed back toward the training grounds, but her feet carried her toward the gap between the forest and forge. Her adventure bone tugged her toward the dark trees. Paying no attention, the daughter of Zeus shoulder checked someone, and immediately whipped around to apologize. "I'm so sorry," Archie gushed. She recognized the son of Hephaestus almost right away. "It's Levi right? I'm sorry, I wasn't paying any attention. My bad." Archie said, offering a timid smile. Then she noticed the towel over his hand and frowned. Nosey Archie took over and she took a small step toward him, "Accident in the forge? Are you alright? She inquired, looking up at him after she examined the towel with her eyes. [ that was a cringy meeting. i'm sorry ^^' ]

Wren had trouble sleeping last night. Not because she was worried for the missing camper- she was, but not enough to keep her awake, no instead she stayed up because of her cabin mate: Nivea. Wren had nothing but respect for the councilor- or at least as much respect you could have for someone so fundamentally different than you, but the other girl needed to keep it together. Nothing in the world was going to fix itself because she was worried. Nothing in the world was going to fix itself if everyone wasted energy by staying up all night.
At dawn, the daughter of Poseidon crawled out of bed, still grumbling about sleep loss. Throwing on a light jacket, she stepped outside, preparing to go to the pegasi stables. Maybe they would have an idea about what happened to the missing campers. More importantly: maybe their chatter could chase of her own worry.
Before she could think better of it, she called out over her shoulder, "Nivea? You still up?" She was extra cautious to keep her tone flat and uninterested. The last thing the older girl need to know was that Wren was concerned for her. "I was planning on going out to the stables, did you want to join me?"
She almost cursed her quick tongue. Sure maybe she wanted to keep an eye on her frien- er cabin councilor, but she wasn't sure if the stables would have the same relaxing effect with another person. Well she was pretty sure they wouldn't, but perhaps some small part of her clung onto hope that her decision wouldn't have consequences. Sometimes she really liked that naive part of her.
Shuffling her feet anxiously, the demigod's mind began to wander back to the missing campers, it was hard not to be thinking about them. After all so many gone at one time... it couldn't be a coincidence. They were probably in danger- Nova was probably in danger.
Though the two children of the big three were known for butting heads, Wren had liked Nova, hell, even considered her a friend. Perhaps she was feeling a little guilty too. Like if she had bothered to check up on her friend, maybe she wouldn't be missing.
Thoughts like that are irrational, her brain argued, there's no way you know what could've helped her. She knew her head was right, but still.....
She called out one last time, "Nivea?"

(Kinda jumping around because I wanted to keep the time of day somewhat similar. Hopefully that's cool with you?
Also, can I just say that having two children of Aphrodite with the names Kenna and McKenna is a blessing I didn't know I needed. Like it's almost as good as the two son of Athena with the names Griffin and Gryphon <3 )

Dakota Taleo
The silence was heavy and awkward. Dakota stared out the window of the vehicle, watching as the trees raced by. They were almost at camp, where Dakota would be safe from monsters and with his friends for the summer. But even though he was excited about it, there was no excitement in his eyes. And that was because for another year, it was Nikolai that was taking him to camp.
It had been years since Dakota found out he was the son of Dionysus, but still his relationship with his half-brother hasn't improved. Maybe it was because Dakota actually preferred his new life to his old. Maybe it was because every summer was spent in the camp his father ran, leaving the people who actually raised him behind. Maybe it was because Dakota and Nikolai weren't actually full brothers. The reason didn't matter, it just was something they needed to get used to.
Neither spoke for the rest of the trip. The real reason behind Nikolai dropping him off was well-known. It was so their mother didn't find out.
Dakota watched the hill approach as the car slid to a stop. He didn't bother moving as his brother turned off the car. However, Nikolai didn't get out yet. They stayed parked side by side for another moment, before Dakota finally heard the door open as his brother stepped out of the car. The son of Dionysus soon followed.
The boys unloaded the car of Dakota's things. He took his suitcase and other bags from his brother.
"I should see you in a few months," He said, the first words spoken the entire trip. Nikolai only nodded, and the younger boy turned to head up the hill towards camp.
"Hey, Dakota!" Turning, Dakota looked back to where his brother stood. The elder waved. "Don't die, alright?"
"No promises!" Dakota yelled back, waving good bye as his brother pulled away. Hefting his bag, he turned and trudged up the hill again. If not for the tense air that surrounded him and his brother, he would have noticed sooner, but it was only after he entered camp that he realized something was off. Being that he hadn't kept in touch with anyone, he had no idea of what was going on.

Fallon Wood The silence was heavy in the cabin. She sat alone, as always, right on her bed, gripping the picture in her hand. The image was taken in Costa Rica, back when she was young. A woman held her tightly, taking the selfie with a smile on her face. But she was gone now, there would be no more of her smile outside of pictures.
But now she wasn't the only one.
Twenty half-bloods have disappeared, two of which belonged to the very cabin that Fallon Wood sat in now. Her half-siblings were missing, and she had no idea what to do about it. Slipping the picture back in with the others, she grabbed her camera and made her way to the door, rubbing her bracelets. Fallon may not be the most friendly of people, but her siblings were her family. In fact, they were the only family she had after her mother's death. Just because she didn't care to talk to anyone didn't mean she wasn't always aware of their presence.
A presence that was now gone.
Trying to calm herself, Fallon stepped outside. She knew the camp by heart now, living there full-time for years now. Not like she had anywhere else to go. Her grandparents would lock her away to be "normal" like that was a possibility with her being a demigod. No, this was the only place she could be, and especially now with the missing demigods, missing family, it was still the safest place for her. (Reposting Fallon's starter with the profile)

(Originally drea's Gryphon was spelled Griffin too and I was like mmmmm maybe not tho, that'll be confusing. So now it's Gryphon and Griffin two best buds with the same name.
I'm trying to stick to rping with characters I've finished forms for so my option are a bit limited, but I've got all my girls except Wren open. Oh and Alastair. Him too.)

Levi didn't want to leave the forge right now, but he figured it'd be better to go get this cut checked out than to end up cutting himself again or letting it get infected or something. Plus, the ring was always haunting him. Arlo didn't blame him, but he blamed himself. As much as he loved the forge - it was his home - it was probably good for him to get out of there... as much as he hated it. Levi closed his eyes, pausing and leaning against a tree. It was probably good that he'd cut himself. He'd been close to punching something, and a cut was better than a broken hand, wasn't it? He took a moment to clear his mind. A few deep breaths. He listened to the sounds of camp - the clanging of swords and the breeze in the trees. It wasn't long before he had cleared his mind of the ring and Arlo. Of course, that didn't make him forget about the missing campers - including one of his own. It was as if he'd failed her. He couldn't fail anyone else. Levi was a protector. That's how he'd always been. He hated to see people hurt, so he did whatever he could to avoid it. Lately, it seemed as if he couldn't protect anyone. Arlo. The missing campers. At least now it was summer... He could get to work on his inventions and he had everyone close by. Maybe now he'd be able to step in if anyone was about to get hurt. He just couldn't fail anyone else. He just needed to not think about this. Luckily, he didn't need to. When someone crashed into him, Levi stepped backwards with a scowl, tightening his grip on the towel. When he came face to face with the girl, Levi's face softened a bit. He may not be extremely social, but he didn't want to make enemies either. He looked through the files in his memory. Archie. Zeus. His eyes widened when she spoke. "Uh, yeah... Levi... It's no big deal," he said, giving a one shouldered shrug since he couldn't exactly wave her apology off. At her next question, he glanced down at the towel over his hand. "Oh, uh, yeah... A little cut. No big deal," he said. He lifted the towel to show her. The cut was deep, but not huge. It wasn't something that couldn't be fixed by a child of Apollo or a few stitches. He, of course, wanted the second option. The last thing he wanted to do was go to a child of Apollo for help. Levi was still drenched in sweat and covered in oil and grease and he desperately needed a shower, but he wasn't focused on that. He was always dirty like that and he figured the cut on his hand was the much more urgent issue at the moment. kai(Sorry its bleh, I gotta do some stuff)
