Most people have no idea what it is like being hunted. The constant fear. The sleepless nights. The realization that no matter where you end up, you'll never feel safe again. They'll live the entirety of their lives never worrying about that shadow in the corner. Never worrying about the drop in temperature. Never knowing exactly what true fear is like.
But you do. You know it so well.
You are a demigod. A halfblood. A mix of power that toes the line between a blessing and a curse. A gift that attracts danger like a light attracts moths.
Maybe you remember the first time you faced a monster, maybe you're lucky enough to not have been attacked yet. Maybe you remember the fear of looking a beast straight in the eyes. Maybe that fear never faded.
You've stumbled upon our little camp. A haven, I suppose. We can't promise that you'll be safe. None us are. But we can promise to train you. Make you more able to fight back. And perhaps that'll be enough. Perhaps you'll be safe. Live on the rest of your life like everyone else.
You have your doubts.

Hiya, welcome to Camp Half-Blood! I’m your tour guide for the day, Noel. It’s absolutely wonderful to see all your smiling, bruised, confused, and deeply haunted faces today! We’re going to try and fix at least one of those expressions today via this helpful guided tour of camp grounds! Now, I assume you’ve all seen the orientation video already, so you should be up to speed on what exactly we do here at camp. We protect and train half-bloods like yourself, so that when the time comes you can take care of yourself out there in monster-infested reality!
First up on the tour is the Big House! That’s where we are right now. It’s- well, a big house. The camp infirmary is in here, so if you ever hurt yourselves doing something stupid, you know where to go. This is also where you kiddos can find Chiron or my dad if you need them. They’re almost always in here, so don’t be afraid to knock if you have any questions for them. Or just yell. HI DAD! That’s what I tend to do most of the time, and it works fine. Dad’s just ignoring me because he’s a spoil-sport. Let’s keep moving, though. Don’t want him to inflict his deadly godly powers and turn us all into grapes.
This neat little pavilion over here is the Dining Pavilion, and- you guessed it- we eat here! Woah! It’s pretty simple in its design- a table for each god, with a huge brasier in the center for burning offerings. There are conveniently placed torches on the pillars too, just so that late night dinners don’t leave us in the dark. Don’t be late to meals, though! We’ll all eat without you, and then you’ll just starve until you waste away into nothing. Fun times. Anyway, we serve about any food you can imagine here- well, when I say ‘we’ I mean the nymphs. They’re pretty good sports about it though, as long as you don’t go tripping them or throwing food in their faces you won’t have a problem. We have these nifty little goblets that fill up with any drink you can imagine if you just say its name, and they never run out either, which is pretty cool. You can’t do alcoholic beverages, though. Not that I’ve tried that, of course. Haha, er- let’s, uh, let’s move on, shall we?
Over here’s the Amphitheater, which is where we watch performances, sports competitions, and have important meetings and stuff. It’s all situated around this big old magic campfire. The flames change color and strength based on everyone’s moods, which I guess is cool? I don’t see it as being very useful, but hey, maybe those Iris kids enjoy it. Every night we all gather around on these benches- they’re surprisingly comfy, don’t look at them like that- and we do campfire sing-alongs. Yes, you have to sing. No, you don’t have to sing well. Nobody’s going to judge your singing abilities- well, except maybe those Apollo kids, but they judge everyone, so don’t feel too bad.
Over here is the Camp Store. You can find almost anything you could ever need here- toiletries, camp shirts, tote bags, wind chimes, Mythomagic cards, you name it. It’s not free, obviously, and we have a very strict policy against stealing, but if you want to strike a deal I’m sure the camper in charge will help work it out for you. You can also borrow money from here if you need it when going on quests. This includes both dollars and drachma, for all your mortal and immortal needs. It’s like a demigod Walmart with an atm. Very handy.
Do you see that big marble building off there in the distance? The one with all the chimneys? That’s the Forge, where weapons and armors are made. We’re not going to get too close, because it is very loud and very hot and the Hephaestus kids will definitely yell at us if we get in the way of their work. Anyone is allowed in there to forge their own weapons with the huge amount of machinery there, but you’ll probably want to talk to a Hephaestus kid before you go waltzing in there. They’re the unofficial owners of the place, keeping it clean and whatnot- well, as clean as it could be with smoke coming out of it 24/7.
Over here is the quiet forge- or the Arts and Crafts Center, whichever you prefer. It’s where more artsy campers can practice their crafts without the constant drumming of machinery. We have clay, easels, yarn, blocks of marble- basically whatever you could want in a craft center. The kids of Athena run this place, keeping everything organized like the neat freaks they are, but again, feel free to stop by anytime you like. I’m sure they’d enjoy some company doing… whatever it is they do.
Now here, we have the training grounds. This is where all of you will learn how to fight- or, if you’re not into that, at least how to survive and control your powers. There’s an armory over there, where you can pick up some Celestial Bronze weaponry if you need some. Again, you can craft your own weapons, but as new campers I think it’s best if you stick to the premade stuff. It’s pretty disorganized in there, so if you need help finding things just ask a senior camper to help you out. Not me, though. I’ve been here 6 years and still don’t know where half of the stuff in there is. So, you go to the armory, get your weapons, and then you can head out to one of our training areas for practice! We have an archery field, a sword-fighting arena, a volleyball court, a big combat arena for competitions, and- my personal favorite- a lava-spewing climbing wall. Whenever you guys feel like it you can practice out here with other campers, honing and refining your skills until you’re among the best of the best.
Or, if you feel up to a challenge, try going out to the Forest. Oh, wait, sorry. I’m not supposed to encourage that. There’s a bunch of dangerous monsters out there, young campers can get hurt easily, blah, blah, blah. Basically you should never go in the forest without a weapon and a companion. Every Friday in summer, we have capture-the-flag out there. It’s pretty cool. But yeah, lots of monster dens and stuff out there. If you end up going out there alone(which, let’s be honest, is probably the best way to do it), you should always keep your eyes peeled. You never know what you’re going to run into out there.
Out here by the edge of the forest is the Cave of the Oracle, where local soothsayer‘ Lizzie O’Conner lives. She doesn’t mind visitors, but I think it’d be best if we left her to her work. Behind those curtains are all sorts of prophetic pots and sculptures. Yeah, prophecies come in more than just words. Our little Lizzie is quite the potter, and a lot of her visions come out through that, not just by speaking. It’s weird how that works, but I mean, probably not the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.
A little closer to the lake we have the Pegasus Stables, upkept by the children of Cybele. A lot of campers want to ride a pegasus their first day, but you’ve got to be careful. These guys aren’t your standard dim-witted horse. They actually are intelligent and stuff. Some Cybele and Poseidon kids have even been known to be able to speak with their pegasi, which is pretty cool. Either way, these guys are more like companions than cars, and I’m sure they’d appreciate you treating them as much. They also love carrots. Do with that information what you will.
At the top of this hill is the big tree which holds the Golden Fleece. Can you see it up there, glinting through the leaves? I’d take you closer, but our guard dragon probably wouldn’t take it too well if a bunch of kids started swarming him. The Golden Fleece is responsible for keeping our camp’s protective borders in place. Without them, monsters could just come wandering through here. The Athena Parthenos helps with that too- that big bronze statue over there, overlooking the lake?- but she actually just freaks me out a bit so we aren’t going to go visit her. Ahem. Either way, as long as the statue and the Fleece are safely in camp, we can honestly be the safe-haven for demigods we advertise ourselves as.
And, of course, we save the best for last. These cabins are where you kiddies will be staying as long as you stay at camp. Unclaimed students stay in the Hermes cabin, but if you already know your godly parent you get to stay in their special cabin. Ooooohhhhh. Feel free to gawk and gape at your pleasure, it’s a pretty awesome sight. We’re the most populated now, during the summer months, but a decent amount of campers still stay here year-round, mostly if they have dangerous lives or something. It’s your choice whether to stay or not, but honestly if my mom wasn’t so possessive of me I’d be here all the time. The cabins are gorgeous. Honestly I could live in one my entire life and not be dissapointed. Wait. I’m getting off track again. Um, so we have… 35 cabins here, I believe, one for each major and minor god. That’s a big number. Can you believe we only used to have 12? Yeah, seeing all these cabins around here now, it’s hard to imagine we started off so small. We’re a really bustling community now, full of all sorts of campers with all sorts of abilities. It takes some getting used to, but we’re all a big family here. If you need help, just ask one of your senior cabin mates, and they’ll help you out no problem.

Aeolus xx god of the winds and air. Children of Aeolus often share many similar powers with children of Zeus, and wind-based attacks are their forte. The powers most likely found in these demigods include atmokinesis, epochikinesis, flight, and typhokinesis. The Aeolus cabin is Cabin 21, a smaller building decorated with towering white pillars and large open windows. On the inside, small cots are set up alongside four walls, each painted to represent one of the four winds. A couple tables and benches are scattered around, but most children of Aeolus prefer to work outside.
Amphitrite xx goddess of the sea. Children of Amphitrite often share powers with children of Poseidon and other sea gods. Their most common powers include aquatic respiration, psychrokinesis, cryokinesis, aquatic animal communication, and hydrokinesis. The Amphitrite cabin is Cabin 24, a smaller building with chipping blue paint and statues of sea creatures surrounding the pentagonal framework. Inside, beds are set up amidst bubbling fountains and ocean decor. The cabin always carries the heavy scent of saltwater and fish, a trait many of its neighbors despise.
Apate xx goddess of gardens, flowers, swamps, and marshes. Children of Apate have a natural knack for non-magical skills evolving the environment like gardening and fishing. The powers that are most common for these demigods are agrokinesis, calokinesis, florakinesis, and hydrokinesis. The Apate cabin is Cabin 31, a small building closer to the shore. Small flowers dot the lawn before it, and a small pool filled with water lilies cuts right before the wooden staircase that leads to the entrance of the cabin. On the inside a mysterious musty odor is ever present, and small cots shaped like boats weave in between flower pots and hanging vines.
Aphrodite xx goddess of love and beauty. Children of Aphrodite are renown for their beauty and grace. These demigods' powers include attraction, amokinesis, charmspeak (the stronger, the more rare), nemakinesis, and pathokinesis. The Aphrodite cabin is Cabin 10, a larger cabin with a blue roof. Large pillars and a checkerboard deck decorate the exterior. Passing through the large pink door, campers are met with a tidy living space, pink walls, lace curtains, and bunk beds made with feathers so soft people would die to have them.
Apollo xx god of music, poetry, art, oracles, archery, plague, medicine, sun, light and knowledge. Children of Apollo are often the most varied in skills- and while may be strong in one of the god's many skills, are often weaker in others. These demigods' powers include ergokinesis, healing, opinokinesis, perfect aim, photokinesis, symphokinesis, and vitakinesis. The Apollo cabin is Cabin 7, a larger cabin made of what looks like solid gold that glows in daylight. On the inside, one is met with a more modest living space, and white walls and cedar boards are broken up by soft bunk beds and coat racks. In the center of the cabin, a few cots are set up for injured campers who need to be watched constantly.
Ares xx god of war. Children of Ares are often assumed to be gruff and violent by the other campers, even if in reality most of them wouldn't hurt a fly if they didn't have to. Powers that the children of Ares typically have are, ergokinesis, opinokinesis, phobikinesis, perfect aim, pyromachikakinesis, enhanced speed, telumkinesis, and tharroskinesis. The Ares cabin is Cabin 5, and stands out like a sore thumb among the other cabins. It's exterior is covered in loud red paint that was poorly applied and a large boar's head sits over the doorway. On the inside, the cabin smells like sweat covered up with about as much Febreeze™ as one could muster. Bunk beds are scattered in no particular fashion and the walls seem to sink from trophy cases filled to the brim with weapons and spoils of war.
Artemis xx goddess of the hunt. Artemis doesn't have any demigod children, however, she is the leader of The Hunters of Artemis a group of immortal huntresses. The Artemis cabin is Cabin 8, a larger silver building wedged in between the Apollo and Hephaestus cabins. Simple and plain on the outside, the cabin is designed to hold the Hunters of Artemis when they visit camp for elongated periods of time. On the inside, the walls are painted like ancient caves, and animals and their hunters seem to leap out from all sides.
Athena xx goddess of wisdom, poetry, art, and war strategy. Though perhaps short-changed when it comes to power, children of Athena are known for their intelligence and cunning minds. They often learn thing quicker than other demigods and have a natural skill for weaving. Occasionally a child of Athena will posses a power such as mnemokinesis, nemakinesis, or tharroskinesis, but having multiple of these is extremely rare. The Athena cabin is Cabin 6, a larger cabin with grey walls, white curtains and a hand-carved owl above the door. The interior is crowded with bunk beds, bookshelves, and blueprints. A light seems to be constantly on in this cabin, and the Athena campers often brag that "sleep isn't important" when it comes to learning to new information.
Bia xx The goddess of force and raw energy. Children of Bia, though rare, share similar powers with children of Ares and Enyo. Their powers include, calokinesis, electrokinesis, electromagnetokinesis, ergokinesis, fire immunity, and fragokinesis. The Bia cabin is Cabin 32, a structure that resembles a slab of solid rock more than a building. The bunker appears entirely black, the original wooden structure reinforced with steel and Celestial Bronze to make it more durable. On the inside, dim lighting illuminates small beds scattered around tables of explosives and other more concerning weaponry. The cabin is a fair distance away from its neighbors, and children of Bia are known to test their new weapons just outside the cabin itself.
Cybele xx goddess of caverns, mountains, nature and wild animals. Children of Cybele have a direct relation with the earth and nature around them. These demigods' powers include, agrokinesis, animal communication, crystallokinesis, geokinesis, umbrakinesis, and thiriokinesis. The Cybele cabin is Cabin 33, a building carved out of solid stone and covered in green moss. On the inside, small beds are covered in soft animal furs and trinkets. It isn't uncommon to spot a couple of animals inside the cabin, and Cybele’s children will often leave out food for stray animals passing by.
Demeter xx goddess of agriculture, fertility, sacred law and the harvest. Children of Demeter excel at anything plant or agricultural based. Their powers range from agrokinesis, calokinesis, epochikinesis, florakinesis, geokinesis, to psychrokinesis. The Demeter cabin is Cabin 4, a cabin that looks more like a vertical farm from the outside. The exterior is decorated with natural oak boards, flowers crawling up the steps, a vegetable garden in the back, and a grass roof. Stepping inside the cabin one is greeted with a soft grass floor, bunk beds adorned with fresh linen sheets, and a real oak tree growing in the center- it's branches supporting the roof.
Dionysus xx god of the grape harvest, wine-making and wine, of ritual madness, and theater. Children of Dionysus are perhaps the rarest of the original cabins, though not without their share in talents. These demigods often have variations on the powers agrokinesis, pathokinesis, and vitakinesis. The Dionysus cabin is Cabin 12, a smaller building the color of black grapes with vines crawling up the entire exterior. On the inside, white walls are matched with dark purple curtains and smaller vines that form 'U's over the tight windows. The bunk beds are made out of dark wood, and the entire cabin smells like a vineyard after a fresh thunderstorm.
Enyo xx goddess of war and destruction. Children of Enyo are known to harbor an attraction to violence, though in most cases are satisfied with battle training and contact sports rather than causing actual destruction. These demigods' powers include ergokinesis, fragokinesis, opinokinesis, phobikinesis, perfect aim, pyromachikakinesis, enhanced speed, and telumkinesis. The Enyo cabin is Cabin 25, a cabin that looks almost identical to the Ares cabin with a few exceptions. The red paint on the exterior is more evenly applied and no animal head guards over the black door. The interior is surprisingly well-kept and bunk beds with crimson sheets stay to the left-side of the cabin while cases with weapons and bombs are neatly labelled on the right.
Hades xx god of the dead and riches. Children of Hades are used to carrying the stereotype of being evil and traitorous. Powers that are commonly in these demigods include crystallokinesis, necrokinesis, osteokinesis, phobikinesis, psychrokinesis, shadow travel, and umbrakinesis. The Hades cabin is Cabin 13, a glum looking cabin made out of solid obsidian with no windows. Two heavy torches burn green on either side of the doorway, as if to beckon one inside. The interior looks like it was designed for vampires not demigods, with red velvet curtains, brass railings, and beds that are vaguely shaped like coffins.
Harmonia xx goddess of harmony and concord. Children of Harmonia are known to be peacemakers and pacifists among their fellow demigods. Their powers range from diffusion, animal communication, pathokinesis, to communication. The Harmonia cabin is Cabin 26, a smaller cabin that faces the woods. The outside is made out of white marble, and dreamcatchers and windchimes hang from windowsills and white pillars. The interior looks more like a cafe than a cabin, with tall two-person tables set up and a personalized coffee-bar in the back. The bunk beds are tucked into the left corner along with a large bulletin-board decorated with To-Do lists and newspaper clippings.
Hebe xx goddess of youth. Children of Hebe are known for their youthful energy and quick healing. Though their powers may be relatively benign, and having more than two is a true rarity- these demigods' powers can range from attraction and healing, to ergokinesis. The Hebe cabin is Cabin 18, a smaller cabin made out of birch wood. The exterior is kept fairly modest, a small bench and potted flowers scattered across the wooden deck. The interior is equally boring, with small bunk beds covered in white lined sheets and large windows shining light in from the back.
Hecate xx goddess of magic, crossroads, moon, ghosts, witchcraft and necromancy. Children of Hecate possess an innate connection to the Mist an anything magical. In most cases, these demigods’ powers include mystokinesis and phobikinesis. The Hecate cabin is Cabin 20, a smaller building built from tall slabs of rock with magical inscriptions written across them. The interior is decorated like a stuffy museum, with large display cases of magic-imbued and potentially dangerous artifacts. The bunk beds are kept to the right, and black linen sheets only add the the gloomy atmosphere of the cabin.
Helios xx god of the sun. Children of Helios have an innate connection to light and heat. Their powers include calokinesis, imerakinesis, photokinesis, and in rare cases epochikinesis. The Helios cabin is Cabin 22, a smaller building made out of marble with gold accents on pillars, under windows, and on the porch. On the inside, the cabin is painted a dusty golden color and the bunk beds are organized under a large skylight that barely leaves any room left for actual roof.
Hephaestus xx god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges and the art of sculpture. Children of Hephaestus are renown blacksmiths and inventors. They make weapons for fellow campers and tools to aid others on quests. These demigods' powers include fire immunity, metallokinesis, pyrokinesis, pyromachikakinesis, and technokinesis. The Hephaestus cabin is Cabin 9, a large building built like a factory. On the outside, brickwork decorates the outer walls and large gears seems to always be turning around the soot-covered door. On the inside, the cabin looks like every craftsman's dream. High-tech bunks are folded against the walls and a large staircase leads down to what can barely be described as a basement. Every nook and cranny of the cabin is filled with weapons and inventions, so much so that no one could possible know what everything did.
Hera xx goddess of goddesses, women, and marriage. Hera doesn't have demigod children, though that doesn't stop her from meddling in the lives of other heroes. The Hera cabin is Cabin 2, a large temple with slim marble pillars and pomegranate vines curling up the alabaster walls. The interior walls are painted silver and a large statue of Hera sits in the center of the building, a fire burning just in front of her feet.
Heracles xx god of heroes, sports, athletes, and health. Children of Heracles are skilled athletes, and tend to be obsessed with certain sports. Their powers include attraction, ergokinesis, healing, perfect aim, enhanced speed, and tharroskinesis. The Heracles cabin is Cabin 27, a smaller building crafted with large oak wood walls and a large checkerboard porch. A large target has been set up on the outside of the door, and something that looks like it might have been and old ashtray filled with darts is nailed next it. The interior is decorated with laurel branches and trophies, similarly to the Nike cabin. The back wall seems to have been replaced with a personal climbing wall, and a large Wii™ is set up in the left corner, a game of WiiSports™ always left on. The cots are organized in a lazy fashion in the left corner- perhaps the only quiet space in the cabin. Hermes xx god of trade, thieves, messages, travelers, and border crossings. Children of Hermes are known to be the trickers and prankster of camp. These demigod's don't usually have powers, although occasionally one will possess opinokinesis, clauditiskinesis , or enhanced speed. The Hermes cabin is Cabin 11. the largest cabin in camp. The outside is covered in peeling brown paint with over-sized windows and a door-frame that leans ever so slightly to the left. The interior is crowded with neat bunk beds and golden curtains. The symbol of Hermes is carved into the back wall, though years without upkeep have left it chipped and scratched up.
Hestia xx goddess of the hearth, home, architecture, domesticity, family, and the state. Hestia doesn't have any children, as she is a maiden goddess. Hestia doesn't have a cabin, instead her domain is the large hearth in the center of camp.
Hygea xx goddess of good health, cleanliness, and sanitation. Children of Hygea are often germaphobes and obsessed with health trends. Most of these demigods don't have powers, but some have been found to have limited healing, opinokinesis, and vitakinesis. The Hygea cabin is Cabin 29, a smaller building made out of white marble. The exterior seems to shine in morning light, and small herbs grow in front of the porch. On the inside, bunk beds are set up in neat rows, and sinks, mirrors, and other accessories line the back wall. The Hygea cabin is known for its cleanliness, and almost always scores the highest during cabin inspections.
Hypnos xx god of sleep and dreams. Children of Hypnos would much rather be off dozing in their cabins than battling monsters. Their powers include hypnokinesis, mnemokinesis, nychtakinesis, and vitakinesis. The Hypnos cabin is Cabin 15, a smaller building that resembles an old-fashioned prairie home. The exterior walls are coated in mud and red poppies hang from potted plants on either side of the door. On the inside, a small hearth crackles with fire, and a tree branch drips water from the river Lethe into bronze jars. Beds are everywhere in this cabin- as one would expect, and it seems to always smell of fresh laundry.
Iris xx Greek goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. Children of Iris have an innate connection to light and color. These demigods' powers include chromokinesis, flight, healing, photokinesis, and enhanced speed. The Iris cabin is Cabin 14, a smaller building facing the canoe lake. The outside of the cabin is made out of cedar wood, and mirrors and glass trinkets seem to plaster every corner in rainbow light. The interior is decorated in a similar fashion, though a small skylight and large windows let in significantly less light. Other campers complain that the Iris cabin is secretly trying to blind them with their bright display of color, but really the trinkets just allow them to practice with their powers at any given time.
Nemesis xx goddess of retribution and vengeance. Children of Nemesis are known to hold long grudges and complex revenge schemes. To cross a child of Nemesis is to ask for a target. These demigods' don't have many powers but can have limited ergokinesis, fimikinesis, phobikinesis, and tychokinesis. The Nemesis cabin is Cabin 16, a large building painted dark grey. The exterior seems foreboding, with two fiery red torches blazing on either side of the door and a broken wheel watching from above. However, the interior is strangely... homey? Patterned light grey walls stretch outwards, and pale light seeps in through small windows. Bunk beds line either side of the room adorned with soft pillows and white linen sheets. In the far back, an aging desk is set up with the demigods' revenge schemes- but even that is paired with a pair of white lilies resting in a pot on the desk.
Nike xx goddess of victory. Children of Nike are known to do anything to win, whether it be sabotage, extra training, or other- more dangerous methods. Their powers all stem from athletic ability and the most common include ergokinesis, navigation, opinokinesis, perfect aim, enhanced speed, and tharroskinesis. The Nike cabin is Cabin 17, a small cabin made out of white marble. Laurel branches crisscross above the door, and to the left a chalkboard is set up and the words "Wins for the Day" are written on the top- quickly proceeded by the names of all the Nike children and tally marks. On the inside, large windows let in fresh morning light to illuminate small bunk beds and rows of board games, sports equipment, you name it. On the back wall, one queen-sized bed is set up, a plaque reading "For the winner" right above. It is generally assumed that whoever has the most "wins for the day" gets to sleep in the best bed.
Persephone xx goddess of vegetation and spring. Children of Persephone often feel most at home among nature and flowers. Their powers include agrokinesis, crystallokinesis, epochikinesis, florakinesis, geokinesis, and photokinesis. The Persephone cabin is Cabin 35, a tiny building that faces the woods. The exterior is decorated with cherry wood boards and flower pots full to the brim with blooming flowers. A small crabapple tree sits just behind the cabin, and is always in constant bloom. On the inside, the cabin smells like a perfume store, and small bunk beds line either side of the entrance. In the center, a pomegranate tree grows, supporting the roof with its branches.
Pheme xx goddess of fame, gossip and renown. Children of Pheme are known collectors of gossip and drama within the camp. If you want dirt on anyone, all you have to do is give a Pheme kid a heavy enough bribe. These demigods' powers include attraction, amokinesis, fimikinesis, invidiakinesis, and pathokinesis. The Pheme cabin is Cabin 34, a small building that manages to look like a cottage for Barbie™. On the outside, the cabin is painted white with small floral designs on the bottom and around the door. A small pink checkerboard porch sticks out from the front, and tables are set up cafe style so the Pheme kids can do whatever they do outside. The interior, however, is not so cutesy. The entire back wall looks more like a CNN press room than part of a cabin. Tall TV screens are set up, each linked to cameras carefully placed around camp. Notebooks and chairs are set up in a "U' shape around the display, and if you ever want the juiciest gossip in camp all you have to do is steal a journal. Bunk beds are set up on the right side of the room, and each bed has a short shelf labeled 'Notes' right next to it.
Plutus xx god of wealth. Children of Plutus, though rare, are often surrounded by wealth and power. These demigods' powers include attraction, chrimatakinesis, crystallokinesis, and metallokinesis. The Plutus cabin is Cabin 28, a cabin that looks like a rapper was transformed into a building. The walls are made up of solid gold, and on the outside gemstones and jewelry are embedded to give the cabin a bedazzled aesthetic. The door is made out of an amethyst geode, and is extremely sharp. The interior is perhaps a little less flashy, with bunk beds made up of copper and plain white linen sheets. In the center of the cabin is a pile of gems and gold that is vaguely reminiscent of a pirate's treasure, though the Plutus kids would not take you calling it that lightly.
Poseidon xx god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses. Children of Poseidon have an innate connection to the ocean and water. Their powers range from aquatic animal (and horses) communication, aquatic respiration, cryokinesis, hydrokinesis, navigation, and seismokinesi. The Poseidon cabin is Cabin 3, a low building with windows that face the ocean. On the outside, rough sea-stone walls and embedded seashells seem to be worn down by years of water, leaving some spots coarse and rough, while others are as smooth as ice. On the inside, soft bunk beds are organized in the left corner, a small mobile of hippocampi floating overhead. Small pieces of coral and aquatic plants line the walls, and the scent of saltwater seems to be ever present.
Selene xx goddess of the moon. Children of Selene have an innate connection to darkness and cold. Their powers include psychrokinesis, nychtakinesis, umbrakinesis, and in rare cases hydrokinesis. The Selene cabin is Cabin 23, a smaller building made out of marble with silver accents on pillars, under windows, and on the porch. On the inside, the cabin is painted a pastel blue color and the bunk beds are organized under a large skylight that barely leaves any room left for actual roof.
Thanatos xx god and the god of death. Children of Thanatos share similar powers and stigma to children of Hades. Their skills include necrokinesis, osteokinesis, phobikinesis, psychrokinesis, and umbrakinesis. The Thanatos cabin is Cabin 30, a small building that could be easily overlooked as a shack or storage space. The cabin is dark grey in color, with little to no outdoor decor. Opening the black door leads you into a dimly lit room with cots shoved to the left side. A small shrine is set up in the back corner, and wreaths of poppies line each of the walls.
Tyche xx goddess of prosperity, fortune, and luck. Children of Tyche are often attracted to bad odds and are known to never resist a gamble or risk. These demigods' don't have many powers, but in most cases have on of two of the following: tharroskinesis, tychokinesis, chrimatakinesis and invidiakinesis. The Tyche cabin is Cabin 19, a small building that manages to look like a Las Vegas casino. Bright neon lighting and symbols of luck seem to transform the structure in to the chaotic location it is today. On the inside, bunk beds are set up in the back, and large tables with decks of cards and other things seem to clutter the entire front side of the cabin.
Zeus xx god of the sky, lightning, thunder, law, order, justice. Children of Zeus tend to be the "poster-children" of the demigod world. These demigods' powers range from atmokinesis, attraction, electrokinesis, and flight, to typhokinesis and navigation. The Zeus cabin is Cabin 1, a large marble building that looks more like a mausoleum or bank than a cabin. Two large bronze doors lead you inside, and the sound of thunder can constantly be heard when they are open. Inside, the large statue of Zeus has been relocated to the left corner of the room, making room for bunk beds, and bean bag chairs shaped like clouds.

Shorter than most, Lizzie looks like your average mortal girl. Standing just under 5 feet, the oracle barely looks strong enough to hold a sword. Her hair is long in length, reaching down to her middle back. The golden strands are almost always braided in some fashion, and her favorite thing to do is weave in fresh flowers and plants. Her pale skin is patchy along her arms and small scars cut upwards from her wrists. Lizzie's eyes are an even green with gold rings surrounding the pupils. When it comes to outfits, the Oracle's style has always been casual and simple. Blue jeans and bandanas are her go to choice when it comes to matching something with the camp half-blood t-shirts.
Lizzie is certainly unique among her peers. She's rather cheery around other people, the type of person you'd want to hang out with every couple of days. However, she can be a tad oblivious to other people and has trouble reading expressions and body cues. Her humor is odd in its own way, and her dry delivery of things meant to be funny often leave people more baffled than amused. As the Oracle, she feels like it's her responsibility to protect her fellow campers, a tall order to ask of an eleven-year-old child. In fact, she often feels like the campers do more protecting of her than vice versa. When she's on her own, Lizzie loves to read books and relax. She's quite happy when she's alone, and isn't weighed down with guilt or stress. She is most at home, however, with clay in her hands. The young girl is a potter and sculptor, and takes great pride in her work, even selling her pieces online to help fund the camp. She's a bit nervous around adults, and despite being at camp for over a year now, feels like there's still more she should be doing.
x Lizzie never expected to be Oracle. From an early age she knew she could see through the Mist clearly, and would help her older sister Cailin avoid monsters and dangers on their travels. The Oracle was born into a family already intertwined with the gods. Her mother, a car mechanic, had fallen in love with the god Hephaestus just six years before Lizzie was born. Chased by monsters, the family soon learned how to defend themselves, and Cailin used scraps of celestial bronze and mortal metals to craft weapons and shields for the family. When Cailin first went to Camp, they had hoped that their struggles were behind them, but little did they know that trouble had just begun. When Cailin began having strange dreams and waking visions, many back at camp thought she would be the next Oracle. They began prepping her to take the torch from the old Oracle, a woman old and withering. When summer ended, Cailin promised to return after school and go through the proper ceremony in a year. She never made it. When picking up Lizzie from school, a fellow camper brought bad news, the old Oracle was acting out- speaking in multiple languages, reciting old prophecies, speaking backwards, etc. Cailin decided to drive up to Camp right then and there, believing that this meant it was time for her to become Oracle. With Lizzie strapped in the backseat, she sped off. The pair, however, were attacked on the journey. After being pushed off the road and into a thicket of trees by hellhounds, Lizzie had to drag her sister the rest if the way to Camp. She died if her wounds just an hour later. Still in shock, the mortal girl trudged all the way to the Oracle’s cave- wanting some sort of explanation for her sister’s death. What she found, however, was more disturbing. The old oracle had fallen into a more catatonic state and was barely breathing. Concerned, Lizzie let it slip that she had been having strange visions. She agreed to attempt the ceremony, perhaps a bit more concerned for the camp her sister had loved so dearly than her own safety. However, it worked. Lizzie managed to survive, leaving her the Oracle of Delphi. She tries to stay in camp as long as possible, but still has to go to school during the winter seasons. x The younger girl doesn't enjoy fighting, but she is quite handy with a celestial bronze javelin crafted for her by her half-sister. x Her mother is a car mechanic named Lucie O’Connor, and she never knew her father. Her sister, Cailin, is dead. x Lizzie never had her sister’s skill for metalworking, but is a talented potter and sculptor. Her visions for the future can often manifest themselves into her work, and thus her cave is filled to the brim with bowls and clay.

The first attribute one would notice about Leo is his dark, curly hair. He deliberately keeps it on the longer side to cover up his short horns. His skin is relatively pale, so much so that it makes his thick eyebrows and dark eyes stand out. There is also an array of lightly colored freckles over the bridge of his nose. Leo is very thin, and only stands about 5’8” but his lankiness is promise to grow more. His face is kind and friendly, which is very useful in his line of work in being a satyr and all. The satyr tends to smile with closed lips, mostly because he is insecure about his slightly crooked teeth. When Leo is in disguise as a mortal, he is very awkward physically. And when he doesn’t have to cover up his legs and hooves, he is extremely graceful. His legs are obviously goat legs, and are covered in thick dark brown hair, the same shade as the top of his head. He has his fair share of scars all over his body from various incidents. Most can be found on his chest, stomach, and legs.
Leo is very sweet and charming. He loves an adventure and loves competition. These two components lead to the fact that he has brought an impressive amount of demigods to Camp Half-Blood. He has been doing escorting half-bloods for roughly the last nine years. Leo is also very determined and extremely loyal. He remains friends with all the demigods that he comes across, and he hopes that they all consider him an ally as well. There is a bit of mystery surrounding him, mostly because no one knows all that he has experienced out in the world. Occasionally, the young satyr can be caught staring off sadly, as if mourning a memory. It should by noted that Leo has an intense fear of being underground. Most satyrs dislike it because it weakens their senses, but he truly despises it. And sometimes his job requires him to take the subway or enter a tunnel or go below ground in some fashion, and he just spends those moments in quiet terror. Beyond all this, however, most know Leo as the daring, charming individual as he stands.
x Leo started his journey of tracking down demigods at a very young age. He was six years old when he first began to shadow his older brother (age 12) on jobs. At age 8, he performed his first solo recovery. He’s been out finding half-bloods ever since. He has many success stories, but also many failures that he carries heavily in his heart. x Leo carries a reed flute that he uses for woodland magic. He also has a celestial bronze dagger. However, he absolutely hates combat, but he is well experienced at it. x Leo’s elder brother has been on a long-term mission for the past couple of years, so he hasn’t seen him in a while. The first thing most people notice about Archie is her hair, and she is pretty proud of it. Growing up she was not the cutest. With patchy red hair and big hazel eyes, she joked that she looked like E.T. Her fiery red-orange hair reaches below her shoulder blades in very loose waves. Archie's eyes are a mix of green and brown, giving her a look of gold eyes with flecks of brown throughout. Her skin is rather fair, but when in the sun it tans very lightly. Too much sun and she becomes a lobster, not enough and she looks like a walking dead. Normally she will be seen with a sunburn as she thoroughly enjoys spending time outside. Archie stands at 5'8 on a very good day, although she will argue she is taller, but the reality is she is just 5'7 and likes to think she is tall. Down Archie's right thigh she has three long scars from her freshman year of high school when she was attacked. She also has three similar scars across her left collarbone from the same attack. Archie has has three piercings in her left ear and four in her right, both filled with simple round, gold studs. Archie is a socialite. She is fond of social gatherings and being around people. Archie enjoys meeting new people and learning about them. Around shy and quiet people, Archie can be quite overwhelming and nosey because she is so friendly. Usually she can gauge if she is bothering someone and will leave them alone. She is compassionate and kind, and tries to be inviting to everyone. Another prominent attribute is her curiosity, which can often get her into trouble. Archie enjoys exploring and adventuring, and one of the best spots to do that are the woods. She frequently gets lost and in trouble for entering and exploring them. While she is very social and enjoys large crowds, Archie despises ever being alone in a closed space. After her kidnapping she has major issues with being alone in rooms, which is why she adores having her half-sisters in the same cabin as her. When she is left alone for a long time she can sometimes have panic attacks. Despite the fact she is kind, Archie doesn't like to be stepped on or pushed around, she will let you know her opinions, whether or not you really want to hear them. Overall, Archie is pretty happy-go-lucky girl, constantly smiling and laughing with a bit of a fiery tongue if someone wants to step up to her.
x Archie grew up in Miami, Florida with her mom and her mom's boyfriend, James and she lived a rather normal life there, especially for a demi-god and daughter of Zeus. During her freshman year of high school, Archie was sitting in class when the power went out and people started screaming. No one was really sure what was happening, but Archie was attacked and kidnapped for a few days, used as ransom to try and overthrow the gods. Clearly the plan went wrong and she escaped. Chiron heard about the incident and contacted Archie's mother, thus began her trips to Camp Half-Blood. x Archie has two magnetic earrings that, when put together, transform into a gold sword with red-orange streaks through the blade. x n/a x Archie is an avid pet lover and has a Labradoodle at her mom's house.. Riley is a rather short girl, standing at only 5'4. Despite this, she has a powerful build and an athlete's body. Her skin is somewhat pale and she burns instead of tans, causing her to slather on sunscreen the majority of the time when she goes outside. Riley has bright blue eyes and somewhat short golden blonde hair that doesn't fall far past her shoulders. Her skin isn't marred by many marks, though she has a scar across the back of her right hand. She also has a tattoo of a lightning bolt on her ribs. What Riley lacks in size, she makes up for in personality. She's stubborn and competitive and isn't one to let others tell her what to do. She's always up for an adventure. Riley can be reckless and doesn't always think about consequences, but when someone is there to remind her to slow down and think about things, she can actually be very good at coming up with plausible ideas. She's good at lying, but can be blunt and honest when with her friends. Everyone that's close to Riley knows they can count on her to give her opinion without sugar coating it. She's deathly loyal to her friends and family, and threatening or hurting them will make you a permanent enemy of hers. She's very caring about those that she considers close.
x Riley grew up in the Midwest as the only daughter of a single mother. She had an older brother named Finn and two younger brothers named Nick and Vince. Their father died years ago and only Finn has vague memories of him, so it was assumed that Riley was the daughter of that man as well. It wasn't until she was 12 and walking home from school with Finn that they were attacked by a monster. With Finn being mortal, he was left at a hospital and had no memories of the incident. Riley was brought back to camp by her rescuers and everyone at home began to think she was dead. It wasn't until two or so years after coming to camp that she finally wrote a letter to Finn and explained where she was, but made him promise to keep it a secret. x She has a small yet strong sword with lightning bolts carved into it. Nivea, or just Vea, has a lean, athletic build, with toned muscles and long legs. She stands 5'5", with deep, rich caramel skin. She also has vitiligo, which mean some parts of her skin are patchy and pale due to a lack of melanin. Vea, being the fiery soul she is, flaunts her pale skin like artwork, and is proud of what she says "makes her special." Her hair, often pulled back out of her face in two Dutch braids, is a soft waterfall of midnight black and frosty gray ombré, and when left unbound falls in soft waves to the small of her back. She has a sharp jawline and prominent cheekbones. Nivea has dark, arched eyebrows, one of which has two small splits just below the arch, similar to a cat scratch. Her almond shaped eyes are an icy blue, almost gray in some lights, and become stormy and dark when intense emotions overwhelm her. Scars litter her arms and back due to the constant sparring with her adopted brother Jaime. She also has a Samoan tattoo on her left upper arm and shoulder, the meaning of which she doesn't often explain.
Nivea is a fiery young woman, always ready to fire back with sarcasm when she feels attacked. Often, her first reaction to rudeness is physical violence, which usually leads her to trouble. Nivea ability to hold a grudge is almost as legendary as the surprisingly intimidating glare she throws the way of anyone who wrongs her. When she isn't being fiery, though, Nivea is as sweet as a cherry and always ready to help. She is always a ball of energy, laughing and cracking jokes to fill silences. Nivea is known for her kind nature and healing spirit among friends. She loves to ask questions and learn the ways of the world, and she loves with a passion that causes her to act impulsively when her friends and loved ones are in danger.
x Nivea Jordan had a relatively normal childhood. Her mother was an artist, her step-father was an accountant, and she had two younger step-brothers that she loved. As she got older, however, she began to exhibit her abilities, and her mom decided it was time to come clean about her biological father. Nivea, unable to believe that her mother had lied to her for so long, ran to her long time friend Jaime Stark. He revealed that his father had also told him the same secret - his mother was a Greek goddess. The two of them bonded over their mutual betrayal, and soon became like a small family of their own. They found their way to camp, where they have been near-inseparable ever since. x Nivea fights with two knives - Aries and Aquarius. They are magical, as Aries can heat up to boiling point and Aquarius can reach below subzero temperatures. She uses them very rarely, however, as their magic is hard to control. Wren is surprisingly attractive for someone so wary of emotions. Standing at 6'1" the tall girl takes special care to keep her physique well-muscled and balanced. Her posture is always straight and direct, and she takes pride in how her movements are as graceful as that of a professional dancer. Her hair is naturally a dark coffee brown color, however she has it dyed a pastel pink color. Though she'll often just leave it wild and loose, the daughter of Poseidon loves being able to tuck her hair up into a messy bun or high ponytail. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black in color. When it comes to outfits, Wren's greatest accessories are her jackets. She's almost never seen anywhere without something tossed over her shoulders, even in the worst summer heat. She has an addiction to combat boots, and black shorts and usually matches them with her bright orange camp t-shirt.
Wren isn't the most empathetic demigod there is. She struggles to connect with people, and more often than not, her icy demeanor chases away possible friends. The daughter of the sea god, is an expert at disguising her feelings. In fact, she views showing emotions as a weakness that is too easily exploited by enemies in battle. The demigod feels most at home with a weapon in her hand and a monster in front of her. She'll often say that she doesn't understand much, but fighting has always come easy to her. The demigod is extremely protective of those she has a close connection to, and her biggest fear is not being able to fight when it matters most. She is cold and calculating when it comes to decisions, and relies on her cunning instinct rather than any sentiment or empathy with others. Because of this she often comes off as aloof and unsympathetic to her other campers. However, she is terrified that showing that she cares for someone will only lead to them getting injured or killed because of her. She has big ambitions, and looks forward to the day when she can prove herself with a quest of her own.
x Wren spent most of her life on Hawaii, while her mother work on the military base. Her mother at the time was a marine, and it was there where she met Poseidon. When Wren was ten years old, her mother got a new job in Chicago, IL. It was here that she met Jeorge Saffron. After three years of dating the two decided to get married and Wren finally spent time with her new sister, Chloe. When Wren was fourteen, she attended camp for the first time and feel in love with it. When her sister Chloe also revealed she was a demigod, Wren practically beg her to go with her next year. Now Wren has attended camp two years, and is itching for a quest for herself. x Wren, never one to be outdone, fights with an extendable trident and a pearl-handled pistol that fires celestial bronze bullets. x Her mother is Gwen Barcer, her step-father is Jeorge Saffron, and her step-sister is Chloe Saffron. Landon is tall and still rather lanky, though his active demigod life has been helping him put on muscle mass. He will likely always be lean, but not without muscle definition. He stands at 5 foot 10, and will likely still add a few inches before reaching his full height. His slim build has his weight stuck at a rough 120 pounds, but he adds a couple pounds every year. Despite his lighter weight, Landon is still quite strong, but his greatest strength is his speed and reflexes; it can be very hard to land a hit on him when he's on his game. Landon has a mop of messy brown hair atop his head. It isn't long enough to reach his shoulders, but it has no problem falling forward and into his eyes. He is constantly brushing it back, but he isn't a fan of haircuts, and only does so when absolutely necessary—or when his mother makes him, whichever comes first. His hair is mostly dark brown, but hours in the bright California sun everyday has left several strands a bit sun-bleached, turning several pieces of hair a lighter brown, some even a bit blondish. His eyes are a beautiful shade of blue-green, not quite one nor the other. The colors tend to shift a bit, like the ocean, to reflect his surroundings, the weather, or his mood. Landon's preferred style is board shorts and t-shirts, but when working or practicing, he wears jeans or jogging pants, and running shoes rather than his usual brown leather sandals. One thing about his attire that is always constant is his black corded necklace. From it hangs a piece of seaglass that almost perfectly matches the color of his eyes. It hangs from his necklace by a bit of silver wire that winds around the glass in wave designs. A new addition to his necklace is his sword, Ripple, which hangs beside the seaglass whenever its not needed.
Landon is a calm yet excitable boy. He still acts very much like a child in many ways, but he is also growing up and steadily maturing. He hates staying still for more than a moment at a time, and he has an almost endless supply of energy. He's always ready for an adventure, he enjoys all forms of physical activity, and he loves making people laugh. He isn't shy, but he can be a bit awkward around strangers—especially girls. He tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, and tends to put his trust in everyone—even those who shouldn't have it. He is horrible at using a filter for his words, and is often saying things that are out of context, or that can be taken in many different ways than the one he's trying to get across. Landon is brave and often selfless, preferring to put others before himself, but not at the expense of himself or innocent bystanders. He can be very protective, and he loves animals; they often receive more of his protective side than people. Landon is more of a lover than a fighter, and likes to see swordplay as just that: play. But he isn't naïve enough to think he won't need those skills for real life and death situations. He does take his training seriously, he just likes to have a bit of fun while he's at it. Landon doesn't get mad easily, but there are some things that push his buttons more than others, like bullying, mistreated animals, and poking fun at him beyond what can be expected for light teasing. He isn't easily offended, but he isn't exactly hard to offend either. Landon is a lot like the ocean he loves so much. He's ever changing, and can often be unpredictable, so you may never know which side of him you'll see on any given day. But he is always kind, and he strives everyday to be a better person than he was the day before.

x Landon was born in Malibu, Los Angeles County, California. He practically grew up on the beach right outside his back door. Long before he knew he was a son of Poseidon, Landon felt drawn to water. He loves swimming, surfing, and free diving, and he has always been fascinated with life beneath the waves. His mother was constantly dragging him from the water as a child, and as a teenager she always knew where she would find him if he disappeared. Landon lives with his mother and her parents in a large beach house. His mother, Marina Maxfield, is a young marine biologist. She got pregnant with Landon before she'd finished school, which is why she moved back in with her parents. As happy as she was to have Landon, she wasn't willing to give up her dream job for him. So her parents helped her raise Landon while she finished her education and got started in her career. Once she'd settled into her work, she was able to truly start building a relationship with her son, one that grew strong when he started showing a keen interest in her career and everything else about the oceans. Marina has brought Landon on many expeditions, and they were some of the best moments of his life—until his demigod powers started manifesting. The first time he was attacked by a monster, he was out on a boat with his mother and her crew. The vessel was capsized, and they all barely made it out alive. Landon was almost drowned—which is how he realized he could breath underwater. After they escaped, Marina finally confessed to Landon who his father was, and by the end of the week, he was brought to Camp Half-Blood for the first time. He's been coming every summer for the last three years, but as much as he loves it, he misses being able to accompany his mother onto the open sea. x Landon has proved an adept swordsman over the last three summers. While he prefers to use his chosen sword, a medium-sized one-handed double edged blade made of shimmering bronze, Landon can use almost any sword that finds itself in his hands, either with near-perfect skill, or with simple adeptness, depending on the blade. His sword, Ripple, has an enchantment on it that allows him to miniaturize it so he can hang it from his black cord necklace whenever he doesn't need to fight. To make it normal-sized, all he has to do it pull it from his necklace, and to miniaturize it he just touches the hilt to his necklace again. x Landon is the only son of Marina Maxfield, and the grandson of Carlos and Helen Maxfield. His mother has a younger brother, Warren, who is married with two children of his own: Aaron and Feline. Landon isn't particularly close with his cousins, for he hardly ever sees them, and he absolutely loathes his uncle's wife. He does what he can to avoid her whenever they have to share a house for any period of time. x Landon is a very active boy, inside and outside of Camp. Within, he focuses more on training to fight monsters in a variety of ways, but outside he likes to play sports. Surfing, horseback riding, baseball, and beach volleyball are among his favorites, but Landon is pretty skilled in just about all sports. Alastair doesn't like standing out in a crowd. Standing at 5'6', the son of Demeter is perfectly content being just average. His hair is cut in short, choppy patches, that only give him a lazy aesthetic. His locks are a dirty blond in color, though in the winter they take on a more light brown hue. His face is more round than he'd like, and round glasses frame his face. His eyes are a light brown in color, and when the light hits them just right, they glow a amber hue. When it comes to outfits, Alastair usually stick to casual outfits. Around camp he'll usually wear plain jeans with his camp half-blood t-shirt. However, when he's out of camp he's all about over-sized sweatshirts and athletic pants.
Alastair isn't the most outgoing camper. The demigod is fairly shy and introverted, perhaps a tad intimidated by his half-blood peers and their powers. He'd much rather lock himself in the Demeter cabin and read up on his ancient greek, than go to any social situation. He is even cautious around those he considers himself close to like his cabin mates and the occasional friend. However, he is quite the observer. He's picked up many skills hanging around his father and his workplace. Alastair can read lips fairly decent, and has a good guess when it comes to interpreting body language into emotions. Likewise, he is fairly good at faking these things, and would list it as his top skill if he were ever needed for a quest. When it comes to gardening, and other "demeterish" things, Alastiar perhaps feels a tad out of his elements. Sure he knows his way around a garden, but he doesn't have the same farming background that many of his other cabin mates have. He often feels like just another stuck-up city kid among a bunch of country-folk.
x Alastair spent most of his life in Phoenix, Arizona, perhaps a surprising location for a child of Demeter. His father, Jared Blake, is a divorcee who works setting up and running rooftop gardens to provide for food pantries and other organizations that help feed the needy. Though his father was surprised when his son was left to be cared for by him, he never showed any regret or hatred towards his son. In fact, he saw his son as an opportunity. When Alastair first started developing his powers, his father help him harness them, allowing one garden to grow lush and fruitful, even in the driest seasons. When Alastair first told his father he wanted to go to camp, his father shut him down, not wanting to loose his son. But after a little time, he encouraged his son to make his own decision. Connor is a decently tall young man, standing around 5'9. He has pale skin and sandy brown hair, as well as deep, piercing blue eyes. He is physically fit and muscular, as one could expect from a camper, especially a son of Ares. He is quite wiry and has broad shoulders. Several scars cover his body from years of fighting monsters. He has a reverse crescent scar on his upper left chest, another jagged scar across his abdomen, two on his back, and one on his right hand running from the center of his hand to in between his thumb and index finger. His attire is simple, consisting of jeans and a t-shirt, with a pair of sunglasses usually perched on the front of his t-shirt. The most significant of his clothing is a flannel jacket he can often be seen wearing, a gift from his late mother, and a fang amulet that had been a gift from his deceased friend and former girlfriend, Lucy.
Far from how the usual children of Ares act, Connor can best be described as an anomaly. He's not nearly as brash and hotheaded as his half-siblings, far from it, in fact. The 19 year old is a tactician, calm and analytical. He's not one to go in headfirst, preferring to analyze a situation and create a solid plan first. He's intelligent, a trait valued in his cabin, and has a natural leadership quality because of this. As a shotcaller, he's valued among his cabin and can often be considered more dangerous than the reckless ones, as he still possesses several gifts granted to him as a son of Ares. When not planning the downfall of other cabins in Capture the Flag, Connor can often be seen reading or training. He's friendly and pretty social, with friends throughout the camp, as he has been there for several years.
x Born in a small sleepy town in Wisconsin, Connor found out the truth about his parentage early on. His mother suffered from a rare and quick-spreading disease, and could not afford to keep the truth hidden from him for long, lest she succumbed to the illness before he learned the truth. With her bedridden for much of his life, he was left to do much of taking care of both of them, as well as his little sister, Skyler. His life would be changed at the age of 13, when his mother finally passed away. Leaving Skyler to the care of a trusted relative, Connor began the arduous journey to Camp Half Blood. Traveling alone made life difficult, and there were numerous stops along the way. Soon enough a year had passed, with no luck, as monsters constantly blocked his path. Things changed when by chance, he encountered another demigod, Riley, being attacked by monsters. He saved her, and together, the two of them traveled together. Along the way, they were joined by fellow demigod Lucy, daughter of Hecate. The three became quick friends, and Connor and Lucy, even closer so. Things came to a tragic turn when, just a day away from Camp, the three of them were surrounded by monsters. Though Connor and Riley were able to escape, Lucy was killed in the battle, something that haunts Connor to this day. The two of them eventually made it to camp, where he has lived ever since. x Connor's primary choice of weapon is a celestial bronze broadaxe. Connor is able to heat up the blade to incredible temperatures, causing additional damage. x Connor was close to his mother, and was devastated when she finally passed away. He still maintains a close relationship with his sister and fellow demigod, Skyler. He is close friends with fellow camper Riley, who he traveled to camp with. Loren is average looking. They aren't muscular, in fact they have a bit of flab, mainly from their days lounging about. They stand at a simple 5'5, more slender and lithe. They aren't super active, only going to do activities when forced. Their dark hair is cut short but styled, curled over their head. They have an angled jaw line and thin cheeks. Their eyes are a hazel-green, paled and changing slightly in the light. They have a light complexion with freckles, their cheeks pink. They have some scars, the worst one on their shoulder from a spear back when they were learning to use their abilities. Their style is hard to identify, as Loren could go from goth to girly in one day. They do seem to have a habit of wearing big shirts as nightgowns or dresses, probably from when they were little, as the camp didn't have clothes for toddlers, though sometimes it's because they were too lazy to change into actual clothes. But usually they could be found in jeans and a camp shirt. Surprisingly, Loren doesn't seem like a child of Ares. Everyone knows that the Ares kids are the fighters, the children of war. Yet Loren refuses to fight. A pacifist, Loren hasn't killed a single thing in all of their 16 years, which includes monsters. They are not aggressive, hot-headed, or violent. In fact, Loren doesn't really care about anything. They sleep in, they laze about, they do whatever they feel like doing. Yet, if someone finds themselves in need of support, Loren's the one to go to. They give strangely good advice, and always listen when others are talking (not that anyone could tell). They simply have bad luck, and find themselves in the middle of drama without being even remotely involved with it. In a fight, there is no one that is a better distraction. Loren uses their abilities to dodge every attack, without attacking back in the slightest. Loren likes to sleep and takes naps pretty often. They love junk food, and have a stash of it hidden somewhere. Their typical day is just sitting around eating and judging others. Loren is just a chill person, though they do have their opinions about others. They are easy to approach and talk to, and practically everyone in camp knows them. They can be a bit of a trickster though, in the past getting their siblings into trouble. They like to read and write, and plays any game they can.
x Loren and their siblings were two when they first went to camp. Their mother had died, leaving the triplets at a young age. They were raised in the camp by their half-siblings, which was about as one would expect. The Athena cabin helped to teach them, and the Hermes cabin became like a second home since the Ares cabin got annoyed at the three toddlers pretty often. If you ever want to know the chaos that was three toddlers, just ask anyone for the crazy stories. x If Loren needs a weapon, they'll pick one up or use their power to take one from their enemy. Lace Foster is the epitome of “tough girl”. She has chronic RBF, and looks like she lives in the gym. Despite this tough girl appearance, she does enjoy makeup and accessories, as well as dressing up her camp shirts on occasion. Her long, beach-wave hair is a deep chocolate brown, so dark it looks black in low lighting. She has well-kept eyebrows and full, pink lips. Her eyes are a soft green, with darker flecks around the pupil. Lace is a bit on the shorter side, but she has legs for days and the curves to go with, so more often than not her short stature goes unnoticed among the male crowd. She usually wears some kind of ripped skinny jean, with a flannel and Adidas or Vans, but when she feels like dressing up she'll throw on a skirt, a blouse, and some kind of kitten heel.
Lace Foster is sassy, classy, and badass-y. She'll rip you a new one just as soon as she'll hip toss you to the ground. She is rough, tough, and loves to wrestle or box. With a silver tongue and wit for days, Lace can sweet talk just as well as she can throw sarcasm around. She loves to joke around and pull pranks, and if she isn't doing so she's planning her next one. She's a momma-bear and a secret softie, with a heart of gold and a knack for destroying anyone who messes with her friends and family. Once she's comfortable and trusts someone, she is hard to get rid of.
x Imagine this: A satyr comes into camp, three two years olds in tow. They’re claimed, of course, and the Ares cabin suddenly has three toddlers running amock in their cabin, grabbing at weapons and just generally wrecking the place. That’s how Lace, Loren, and Liam came to camp. x Lace uses a number of weapons, from bow and arrow to a sword coated in poison. Atalanta, who prefers to go by her nickname, Tali, works hard to appear as average as possible. And, for the most part, succeeds. She stands at a height of 5’6” and has an athletic body. She is certain that she isn’t “naturally athletic” like many of her peers or even siblings. Instead, her athleticism reflects the intense training she has had throughout the years. Tali has long, wavy hair that is chocolate brown in color. It is typically left down, reaching to her lower back, and parted on her left side so that it covers some of the right part of her face. Underneath where her hair covers is small, but jagged silver scar, vertical next to her right ear. Tali does have a naturally kind, and rather cute face with soft features. The one feature she cannot tone down though are her stormy gray eyes, that especially pop against her olive tone skin. These eyes observe and consume everything in their path. She doesn’t mind them though, she quite likes her eyes. The only accessory that this daughter of Athena adorns is her classic CHB bead necklace, which currently has 12 beads on it. Lastly, Tali has 3 tattoos, roman numerals "XXI" on her left forearm, an arrow on her right ankle, and an owl, same as the emblem on her sword, on the back of her right arm.
Tali’s level of intellect is very high, but that is pretty typical of any of Athena’s children. What’s more is that she is incredibly hard-working. She is passionate and determined to make a name for herself. She does struggle at times however, because in addition to ADHD, Tali has OCD and anxiety. It isn’t super obvious, but those close to her are able pick up on some of her patterns or episodes. In spite of her insecurities, she keeps in mind she isn’t her disorders. She is loyal and trustworthy beyond belief. Her friends and family mean everything to her, despite having difficulties expressing so. Tali’s number one goal in everyday life is to just continuously better herself.
x The reason as to why Tali works so hard to look so unassuming largely stems from her past. Her father, James C. Brookes, is a notable anthropologist specializing in the field of archaeology. It is assumed that it is James’ career choice is what attracted Athena. James’ isn’t totally mortal however. He is the son of two demigods, Maria J. DeLuca, daughter of Poseidon, and Christopher N. Brookes, son of Nike. James himself doesn’t have very strong powers, just able to shake a few rocks and love water. When Atalanta was born, he knew that she would his daughter would have a hard life. He named her after a strong Grecian heroine hoping it would lend her strength. From a distance, Griffin appears to be your normal teenage boy. He's on the taller end, standing at 5'7", and lean muscles give him the stature of a spearman. His dark complexion is mixed with a ruffle of black curls on the top of his head. His hair is almost always messy, and he prefers it that way. It's low maintenance and surprisingly enough, he can pull it off. His eyes are a dark brown, the color of black coffee, and when he smiles small dimples are visible on the sides of his mouth. He has two identical scars on each arm, tracing upwards from his forearms to his elbows. When it comes to outfits, Griffin keeps it simple. Neutral colored hoodies, and dark jeans are his go to. When it's simply too hot to wear anything over his camp t-shirt, he'll pair it with black pants and combat boots. He'll almost always wear a black belt with sheaths and pockets for multiple daggers, darts, and poisons.
Surprisingly, Griffin doesn't seem like an Athena kid. He's not a big reader. He doesn't like to drone on about history or math or the power of english. No, the Son of Athena takes after the goddess's battle strategy side. He's clever, as is to be expected, an is willing to cheat and change rules simple to win. He feels more comfortable making quick decisions on the battle field than full on 'left teams going to go over there and do this then this then this, etc' planning. Not only does Griffin struggle with ADD and Dyslexia, but he also struggles with anxiety. He wants quick results, he wants to know whether or not his plans fair miserably or succeed. Waiting for these tests is simple agonizing. The child of the wisdom goddess toes the line between introverted and extroverted, and it really comes down to the current moment and the people he's surrounded by. Surprisingly enough, Griffin enjoys weaving, his mother's more artsy craft. It's were he can relieve some of his stress, and it's on of the things he can do with his best friend Gyphon.
x Griffin was born and spent most of his early life in Charlotte, North Carolina. His father, an English professor, often struggled with connecting with his son. Perhaps the only thing both son and father shared was the want to know more about Griffin's mother. Kyle Greycrest didn't know he was dealing with the goddess Athena when he fell in love with her, and he didn't understand why she left him to raise a son by himself. When Griffin was seven, his father moved up North to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was there that Griffin was approached by a Satyr and told about camp. At first he didn't believe it, but then the monster attacked. While studying for a history exam, the demigod's house was attacked by a pack of hellhounds. while he was able to escape, his father was killed in the attack. Griffin has been staying year-round at camp ever since the attack (so 5 years). It was there he met his best friend and half-sibling Gryphon and the two grew as close as real siblings. x Griffin's main weapon is a gift from his mother, Athena. He wields a spring-loaded dagger the length of his forearm. The dagger allows him to double his speed in battle, but only for short burst of time. Gryphon is a petite boy, standing at just 5’3” with no muscular structure to speak of. His skin is milky white, and it’s apparent he doesn’t get outside very often. His hair is dark auburn, and flops in loose, wavy strands to the nape of his neck. His coffee-brown eyes are wide and soft, and are always hidden behind a pair of blue-rimmed glasses due to his nearsightedness. He far prefers them to contacts, as the mere thought of putting a strange object in his eye causes him to shudder. Although his skin is relatively unblemished, his hands are scarred and calloused- an artist’s hands, as he puts it. Gryphon usually wears simple clothes, usually light sweaters with sweatshorts or soft jean shorts. He isn’t opposed to wearing the camp t-shirt, but far prefers having long sleeves. Gryphon is generally a very shy boy, always speaking quietly and keeping to himself most of the time. He never raises his voice, and often doesn’t speak in a tone above a whisper. His personality is often just a reflection of what he believes other want to see- either that, or a blank slate with nothing on it. Where his personality really shines through is in his artwork. His favorite form of craft is knitting, and although he doesn’t use all the sweaters he makes, he often gives some to year-round campers to use during the winter months. These knitted clothes are made with intricate patterns and delicate figures, each piece often taking more than a week to complete. Gryphon doesn’t really care, though- he loves the feel of wool in his fingers, the methodical click of his knitting needles. Making art is far easier than trying to predict what other people are trying to say or do. Still, he craves validation for his works, and won’t keep a piece if no one says it looks good. He has a few close friends, but these are mostly among his half-siblings.
x Gryphon’s father, Griffin, never expected to have a kid. He was a single architect who was waiting to find love until after he solidified his paycheck. That all changed when baby Gryphon showed up on his doorstep, though. His first words upon seeing the baby were, “Hey, I didn’t order a baby.” Which is true. He didn’t order a baby. But Athena gave him one anyway, despite the fact that he had no idea how to raise a child. Still, Griffin wouldn’t just abandon this little guy, even though he wasn’t sure his salary could cover both of them. He took the little boy in, naming him after himself and teaching him all the intricacies of architectural work. Gryphon always preferred more artsy activities, though. He’d rather draw and knit than meticulously plan out building designs. But Griffin found a way to encourage that too, showing his son how any problem can be solved by creativity and how even mathematicians need artsy people to help them in designs. When the first monster attack happened, Griffin encouraged his son to seek refuge at camp, as long as he promised to come back after summer. Spencer is a hispanic boy of 5'10, with little muscles and a bit of flab. His hair is dark, almost black, and is shorter but a bit spiked. His face is more round than angular, with thin lips and thick eyebrows. His complexion is darker, as he is hispanic. He has dark brown eyes, deep and watchful of what is around him. Spencer is one with nicer casual. Buttoned up shirts are his favorite, usually paired with shorts and sneakers. He doesn't put too much effort into his clothes as one would expect from someone so casual. While at camp he avoids the orange camp shirts with a passion, as he both hates the color and looks really bad in it.
Spencer has a very calm, very "go with the flow" attitude. He doesn't get stressed about something trivial, doesn't put too much effort in anything he does, and just lives in the moment. Having a stressful past, he doesn't really take things for granted, but still avoids issues that may make him anxious. He is a bit of a flirt and is confident in himself. However, Spencer has a bit of an anger issue, where he will fight anyone who tries to mess with those he cares about or insults someone he loves. This conflicts greatly with his more friendly personality, especially when stuck between loyalty to a friend and the dislike for hurting others. Another thing about Spencer is that he is bilingual, but instead of knowing Greek, he knows Spanish. Sometimes he gets confused over which language he is speaking, switching entirely to one while meaning to speak the other, or he ends up forgetting words or phrases. Some words he only says in Spanish, which mainly include family terms.
x Spencer grew up in Brooklyn. His father was Spanish and single, raising Spencer on his own. They lived in a small apartment as his father, Luis, tried to pay rent. It was a stressful time for them both, especially with Spencer's struggle to fit in and the occasional monster. When Luis joined a band to help relieve stress, Spencer thought that his life would get worse as he found himself alone most days, considering living at camp full-time. That was until one day Luis came home and told Spencer that he found someone. At first hesitant, Spencer agreed to meet him, and soon discovered that Luis' new boyfriend, Joe, was a savior. Two years later the men were married, and Spencer took his step-father's name as well. Although tall and lean, Silas always appears much younger than he actually is. This is probably due to the fact that he is boyish in looks. He is right around 6ft tall, and still can hardly grow any facial hair. He is a blond though, so any hair that does grow on his face is very light in color, but he shaves regardless. His hair is perpetually messy, like the wind is always blowing, but he could care less. Silas always has a bright smile on his face that creeps all the way up to his eyes. Although you can barely see the color when he’s smiling, Silas’ eyes are a deep, dark blue.
Silas’ looks are almost a direct reflection of his carefree personality. He is a very happy-go-lucky dude and has been that way forever. He loves to laugh and joke and flirt and just be around other people. Definitely a social butterfly type, but he is self-aware in the way that he recognizes not everybody loves attention or is outgoing. He is very empathetic and accommodating. This trait, empathy, is probably why out of all his father’s traits, medicine spoke to him. Silas likes taking care of other people and helping them reach their own goals. He is also extremely loyal. Silas’ main flaw is that he doesn’t recognize that he has to take care of himself in addition to other people. He just simply lacks that recognition and confidence.

She was a surgeon that worked in the city hospital, and although she worked a lot, she was very close with her son. Some of Silas’ favorite memories are those he spent with his mother. Like when he was 6, she took him outside to their front-yard one early morning and they watched the sun rise, Silas’ first time doing so. Another time when he was 9, Olivia brought Silas in to the hospital on Christmas and together they handed out presents to really sick kids and older people. They were able to spend a lot more time together when Silas was 11, which is when Olivia got very sick herself and could no longer perform surgery. The unthinkable happened shortly after the boy turned 12. Carson Day Decuevas is a pretty average guy. He stands just under six feet tall, and weighs close to 150 pounds. He has a runners build, and semi-broad shoulders from hours practicing with his bow. His skin is naturally a little tanned, but it gets a bit darker after a couple hours in the summer sun. The only pale parts of him are the scattering of (mostly) small scars on his chest and arms. He received most of them from training, but one particularly bad one on his lower left stomach he got from the empousa that found him on his way to Camp. Day's hair is a dark strawberry-blond. It tends to lighten a bit in the summer, becoming more golden-ish, and darkens in the winter, so it looks more reddish. He tends to let it grow long, so it brushes his shoulders in smooth waves. When it starts irritating him, or when he's working, he'll tie it back with a leather band that he wears around his wrist when not using it for his hair. Day's eyes are a dark hazel-green, and framed by dark lashes. Most days they're mostly green with hints of brown, but occasionally the brown will spread and become more prominent. Day's style leans mostly to jeans and t-shirts, though on really hot days he'll wear shorts and tanks. Day also wears several leather bands and bracelets on his wrists, which he tends to play with when he's nervous or frustrated.
Day is usually a very mellow guy. He doesn't get mad easily, and he isn't easily offended. He's calm and controlled, easy-going and quietly confident. He isn't a take-charge person, but he is comfortable in a leadership position. Day doesn't talk too much, but he is a great listener. He's kind and understanding, and always willing to help others. But Day's generosity and kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. He is strong of character, and he won't be pushed around. He is strong-willed and determined, but not prideful or arrogant. He does take pride in his skills and knowledge, but he isn't flashy about it. He can take a compliment, but he doesn't seek it. Day is smart and thoughtful, often taking the time to think through what he wants to say before he says it. His intelligence isn't extraordinary, but he works hard at it, and many might consider it a little above average; his favorite subject is history. While Day is often slow to anger, it isn't impossible. When he gets angry, however, he doesn't get loud or violent, but rather the opposite. He goes quiet—quieter than normal—and usually just avoids the thing or person causing the anger until he can cool down and deal with the situation or problem calmly and with a clear head. Day doesn't like to lose control, of his self or his emotions. He keeps a very tight leash on both, and when he feels that control slipping, he will often step back, physically and/or emotionally, until he regains it. But at the heart of him, Day is brave and extremely loyal to those who earn his trust and respect, and he believes in second chances.

x Day was born in Ontario, Canada. He grew up in a small town, with just his mother, a music teacher, and his older brother. His life was pretty normal until Day turned twelve, when his powers started manifesting. That was also about the time his mother remarried, and a year later Day's younger sister was born. Over the next several months, Day's relationship with his family deteriorated as his mother and brother conformed themselves to his step-father's strict lifestyle. Day refused to conform, and was therefore treated like an outcast. Just before his fourteenth birthday, Day decided enough was enough and he left. His journey was mostly uneventful, but for a terrifying encounter with an empousa. Luckily, he was saved by a satyr and a pair of demigods. He was then brought to Camp Half-Blood, where he's been ever since. Upon his arrival at the Camp, Day chose to stop going by his first name, and to use his middle name instead. His mother would sometimes call him Day when addressing him growing up, which he now knows was chosen as his middle name because of who his father is. x Day's first weapon of choice is a bow. He uses a simple wooden bow, with hand-carved designs all along it. His quiver was a gift from his father, and it is magically enchanted. Whenever there is need, there will always be arrows in it. Day is also very adept with throwing knives. He usually carries a pair around, but he rarely uses them. x Day is the second son of Rylee Decuevas. His older brother, Carter, is the son of Rylee's first husband, and his younger sister, Casey, is the daughter of Rylee's new husband, a man Day has never liked and who is the reason he left home. Although not the tallest girl, at 5'4, Skyler is a warrior, and not afraid to show it. The daughter of Apollo is pretty, with pale skin and bright golden hair, usually kept straight, going down just past the small of her back. She has vibrant green eyes, a fine complement to her dimpling smile, and a lithe, sinuous athletic build. While dressing casually, she prefers comfortable clothing and doesn't look towards fashion beyond the bare minimum, and can usually be found in just a t-shirt and shorts. She is an avid hunter, and when on hunting trips, usually prefers camo gear, along with a silver hunting jacket, a gift from the Hunters of Artemis.
True to her father's name, Skyler can best be described as having a sunny disposition. She's friendly and generally laid-back, and can be somewhat of a social butterfly, although she does have a few close friends. She does have a fierce warrior side, however, one that can often lead to trouble. She never backs down from a fight, or a perceived challenge, and would rather battle to the bitter end rather than retreat. Thus, her fatal flaw is recklessness, something she has a lot of trouble admitting. Nevertheless, she is a loyal friend and has a good sense of humor.
x Growing up, Skyler, for all intents and purposes, was human. It had always been her big brother who was the demigod of the family. Which was why Skyler was so surprised when she eventually discovered that their mother had been visited by not one, but two gods, three years apart. Unfortunately, this information came too late, as when she discovered her true parentage, she was 13, and had been living with her uncle and cousin Remy for the past 3 years. Soon after, she headed to Camp Half Blood, determined to find her brother, and the many half-siblings she had just discovered. She has lived at Camp for several years now. Eleanor is a tall girl, standing at a solid 5'11 with a slender and muscular build. She is extremely fit and agile, she is a hunter of Artemis after all, so she is very active, especially during her time with Artemis. Eleanor has long blonde hair with darker brown roots that have grown out, leaving her with a sort of natural ombre. Her hair is usually kept back in a dutch braid, or up in a bun. She keeps it in a style that is easy to do and keeps her hair out of her face, especially during combat or training. El has sharp blue eyes that are framed by thick dark lashes and shaped brows. Eleanor has full lips and triple pierced ears. Thanks to her father abandoning her and her family, Eleanor despises him, and distances herself from everyone else. Eleanor was quite close to her family, thus losing them took quite a toll on her. It made her bitter and angry, and now she comes off as rude and cold to many campers. Her friends are limited to the hunters of Artemis, as they are immortal, aside from battle, so Eleanor isolates herself and distances herself from many of the campers, for fear of growing attached to someone who could be taken from her. But she is human, and longs for friendship. Eleanor is usually seen on the outskirts of things, like an outsider. She keeps to herself and tries to stay out of the spotlight. Eleanor is quite opinionated, though and doesn't like to be spoken over. She knows what she wants and will make sure it is known, she missed the opportunity to tell off her father and how she felt, so she makes sure not to be pushed aside now. Eleanor rarely uses her fatherly-given gifts, sticking to her gifts from Artemis, but will use her ability in battle to summon metals to form shields.

She despises him and holds a grudge thinking he could've saved her family. Levi is a pretty big guy at 6'2. While his build isn't overly big, there's plenty of muscle from working in the forges all day. His skin is somewhere between pale and tan, sometimes pink if he's been in the forge for a while. His dark brown hair has a little length to it and he's only recently began to style it in the mornings. His eyes are dark brown as well. Levi has a braided leather bracelet that he always wears on his left wrist. To start off, he's a pretty quiet guy. He doesn't talk more than necessary, but his voice has an authority to it that makes it sound as if he knows what he's doing when he talks. He isn't very social, but knows how to take charge and keep a level head in times of fear and panic. Levi is a very outdoorsy guy that sometimes slips out of his cabin late at night to sit under the stars. He also prefers manual work, so he's almost always able to be found at the forge. With his quiet personality and his large size, he seems as though he'd be intimidating and scary. Actually, the opposite is true. He's just a little awkward when it comes to people. He had no problem standing up for himself or others or even taking charge when he's needed, but he isn't the type of guy that likes small talk. He'd much rather work in silence with someone he cares about or have deep talks at 3am. He's very creative and has always had a fascination with machines. He's got numerous sketch books filled with inventions he's thought up and pretty good art skills to match, though he doesn't really draw anything but his inventions and blueprints. He's quite intelligent.
x Levi grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. His mother was the local mechanic and he practically grew up in her shop, messing around with spare parts and building stuff in his free time. When they weren't at the shop, they would be outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping. Levi did it all. He also learned to cook from his babysitter. When Levi was 12, his mother went missing. He tried to find her, but was taken in by the cops. He escaped and eventually ran into some other demigods that brought him to camp. Tall and lean, Matthias has the body of a dancer. Standing at a height ever so slightly above 6 foot, the demigod's wiry frame is lined with compact muscles that only give the slightest inclination to his true strength. Like most Aphrodite kids, Matthias prides himself in being just about perfect. His face is as close to symmetrical as it can be, his eyes glisten with cold intensity, his hair always lays perfectly atop his head. In their natural color, Matthias's locks glow a dull golden color, but he's since bleached them, giving him the 'ice prince' aesthetic he has today. When it comes to clothing, Matthias knows how to dress. He's always in the latest styles, and no matter how ridiculous they could get, he always seems to pull it off. But, when he's not trying to impress anyone, the demigod will often choose the more simple option.
Though many may assume Matthias is your average stuck up Aphrodite kid, the demigod genuinely cares about his fellow demigods. He can be a tad vain and aloof, as is to be expected by a son of the goddess of love. However, he is quick to give advice and help to those who ask for it. When his cabin mates are in pain, he feels it too. He likes to say that his empathy is his greatest weakness. He'd do anything to help someone under stress. Matthias was once the type of Aphrodite kid who went around breaking hearts. He was known for his flirtatious personality and fickle heart. However, his personality changed drastically with his sister's death. He became much more down-to-earth, and started putting effort into both his relationships and friendships. Part of this change can be attributed to his girlfriend of three years, Maggie Li. She's been helping him open up to people, and he seems to have fully embraced the mentality of helping others. He's often the first to try and comfort those in distress, and tries to always be friendly to those he meets, even if he still does think he's better than them.
x Matthias spent most of his life in Orlando, Florida with his father and twin sister Michelle. Though the two demigods were often confronted by monsters, the two siblings always had each other's backs. They were extremely close, and for the longest time viewed each other as the only other important person in their lives. When Michelle was told about Camp, her and Matthias had to sneak out of their house to attend, as their father had forbidden them from going. The twins instantly fell in love with the place, however, and neither returned to Orlando for the winter. Then one day Michelle got a quest. She was eager to go and begged her brother to go with her, he quickly agreed, and soon the pair left camp in search of the Golden Fleece. If he had known Michelle wouldn't make it, he never would have let her go. But he did. And though the quest was a success, Matthias had to return home alone. Since her death, he's gone back to visit his father, and the two have become closer. With Poppy Lovstad being one of the missing twenty, Matthias was voted the temporary councilor because of his quest experience and genuine care for his fellow cabin mates. x Matthias fights with a celestial bronze crossbow. Jaime Stark is a battering ram of a young man, with a broad, bulky build. Because of his build, and his body builder ways, Jaime is often assumed to be a child of Hephaestus or Area, but he is not. His powers of attraction allow him to appear astonishingly handsome to those around him, a fact that he finds embarrassing. Jaime wears a chain necklace with an anchor on it, and black watch that was passed down from his grandfather. Jaime has deeply tanned skin thanks to his Samoan roots, from his father's side. His hair, a deep, ashy brown with lighter, golden tones throughout, falls in soft waves to his shoulders, and is often pulled up into a man-bun. Some would call Stark's face regal - all cheekbones and jawline. He finds that stupid, though. How can he be "regal" with bushy, prominent eyebrows, a permanently chipped front tooth, a pale white and pink scar across the bridge of his nose, and an ever-present 5 o' clock shadow? His eyes are a brilliant emerald green, with darker flecks in them. His Samoan tattoo, which he got in honor of his late father, lies on his entire right arm, like a sleeve.
Jaime is quiet, almost brooding. He tends to listen rather than talk, but when he does speak he gives an aura of authority and experience. He is respectful, even-tempered, and quick to take care of those he sees are unable to take care of themselves. He knows he is attractive, and he takes full advantage of that fact. Because of this, many believe him to be arrogant and player-ish. He isn't, though he may come across as such. He is always interested in people - their stories, their passions, their ambitions. His quiet nature and near-narcissistic personality often give him bad-boy vibes, and while it may be hard to get him to open up and get close, he will always be there for those he does deem trustworthy.
x Jaime grew up with a semi-normal family. He had a single father, a younger half-brother, and a dog. His life was great. Until the day came that his dad revealed the truth of his heritage, that is. Shaken by the news, Jaime left home, and met up with his best friend Nivea. She usually dresses in the latest fashions, caring more about her appearance than she'd like to admit and the confidence boost it gives her. McKenna is very playful. She tends to not take anything seriously and is always trying to live life to the fullest. She loves to party, but does her best to not get into too deep of trouble and has managed that so far. She has the mindset of "life is too short" so she tries to enjoy herself as much as possible, even if it means turning down important opportunities. She means well and is an extremely caring and good friend, though she can be a bit airheaded at times. She's loves a good party and is more focused on having fun than truly trying to be a productive person and do what's good for her. She believes that these are her last few years to live life how she wants to before she's chained down to a boring adult life, and she's truly trying to make the most of it.
x McKenna's father is a local singer and the coach of a youth baseball team. Though he stayed home during baseball season, the rest of the year he brought McKenna with him to travel the country, and even other countries at time. Kenna loves to wear make-up, always making sure it matches with her clothes. As one would expect of a child of Aphrodite, Kenna is always wearing the current fashion and always seeming to be able to pull it off. From high heels and dresses to a simple tee and shorts, she tries to own whatever she wears.
Kenna isn't mean. She doesn't put everyone around her down or insult the fashion or style of others. Instead, Kenna is a nice girl, with an optimistic view on life. She always laughs at jokes, always helps people up, and always tries to be positive. She can be flirty, no surprise, but she gets tongue-twisted around anyone she crushes on. A social girl, friendly girl who approaches the people around her, she tries to keep everyone upbeat even during the most trying times. Being one of six children, she likes to stand out and be the best. She loves dancing and gymnastics, and is on the gymnastics team at her gym. She is also competitive because of this. She likes to crochet and knit, and sometimes makes scarves for her friends. She grew up her two elder half-siblings, and the three of them always got into trouble.
x Kenna grew up with two elder half-brothers. All of them had the same father, but different mothers. Either way, they were still close, and they shared a high disliked for their father's newest girlfriend, who already had three kids. Sure enough, the two got married, and Kenna and her brothers were forced to stop causing trouble as their step-mother made their life difficult. When Kenna was invited to camp, she almost wasn't able to go. Her elder brothers snuck her out and drover her to camp, though they couldn't see it because of the mist. She did get in trouble for it, but she was able to convince her father to let her due to the unexpected surprise of her best friend being a child of Apollo and a regular at the camp. x Kenna likes to use a dagger and has celestial bronze knitting needles. x Kenna is apart of a big family, just on her dad's side. Fallon is a smaller girl of 5'3, and yet she her physique is one you would expect of someone so active, with lean muscles and strong limbs. Her longer hair tumbles past her shoulders as a sandy blonde, usually pulled back out of her face except for a couple strands that fall loose. Her face is angular, with thin lips and a strong chin. Her eyes are a bright gray-blue, with a few tints of green, seeming to almost change in the light. And just like one would expect, Fallon's style mimics her hobby. Usually wearing shorts or capris, t-shirts or tank tops, and sneakers, she very much sports an active and adventurous look about her, a camera almost always at her side and a jacket tied around her waist. She isn't one for jewelry, though she wears two bracelets, one on either wrist, that are actually her weapons.
As active as she is, Fallon doesn't have the "popular" attitude. In fact, Fallon has quite the opposite. She would rather be out alone than bogged down by people. She doesn't do teamwork very well, and she is pretty antisocial and awkward in some situations. Mostly, she tries to do her own thing and avoid anyone she could. Pretty smart and logical, Fallon doesn't get in the way of a plan unless she knows it would fail. A bit of a show-off and one up for any challenge, she doesn't like being underestimated. She jumps at the chance of adventure, and is one of the people that someone could pay to get items from out of camp. A bit on the reckless side, Fallon doesn't hesitate. However, she does have a fear of falling. After being claimed, Fallon harbored no ill will towards her father. Instead, she was happy to know that she wasn't abandoned, especially when she received winged shoes.
x When Fallon was young, she used to travel the world with her mother. They did all sorts of activities, from rock climbing to zip-lining. To Fallon, those days were the greatest of her life, and she treasures the pictures she has of them. Unfortunately, one day they were attacked by a monster. Fallon had no idea what was going on, and she saw her mother fall to her death. After that, Fallon, still young and suffering from PTSD, was sent to live with her grandparents, both of whom didn't understand her and tried to force a "normal" life on her, forcing the young girl to run away. A year later, a satyr found Fallon and explained to her what was going on, leading her to camp, where she lived ever since. x Fallon has two celestial bronze short swords that she fights with. Both can turn into thin bracelets that she wears on either wrist. She also has winged shoes that she wears at all times. x Fallon's mother was a photographer named Eija. Rory is a tall boy at 5'8. He has a very skinny build without much muscle. His skin is rather pale with a few freckles and his eyes are green. Rory has dark golden hair. It's rather fluffy and falls over his forehead and ears. He often wears clothes larger than he should and lets them hang from his skinny frame, making him appear smaller than he usually does. Rory seems to have an endless supply of energy. He's always on the go and has a short attention span. He is definitely not the kind of boy that should be put in charge of anything important. Despite that, he puts a lot of effort into everything, especially making friends. Rory just wants to make friends with as many people as possible, occasionally not knowing when to accept that someone doesn't like him. He's a rather sensitive boy, but tries not to let things get to him.

Noel practically oozes ‘sweet girl’, from her colorful attire to her fluffy manner of speaking. Her golden blonde hair goes down to her shoulders, and is usually pulled out of her pale, freckle-splattered face with a rainbow-striped headband into twin pigtails. Her hazel eyes sparkle with a bright energy that leaks into everything she does. Noel isn’t very good at hiding her feelings, and every single shift in emotion is clearly plastered across her face. She’s a bit on the shorter side, only standing at 5’5”, but she doesn’t mind at all. She adores wearing cute clothing with lots of frills and colors, even if it isn’t necessarily the most practical type of outfit for camp. Usually she keeps the frills contained to her tops, wearing a nice pair of jeans on bottom. Always included in the outfit is, of course, her signature rainbow headband, which she made herself following instructions she found online. It’s not the highest quality, but still does the job, and she’s immensely proud of it. Despite Noel’s general cute appearance, however, she is known to party quite hard- as good as any Dionysus kid. Just like her outward appearance would suggest, Noel is sweet and bubbly, never hesitating to share her optimism with everyone around her. She can get excited rather easily, and has a very high energy level. She’s very passive despite this, though, always going along with what the majority wants regardless of her own feelings. She always tries to peace-make in tense situations, whether or not the combating parties even want to calm down. Put Noel in a party, though, and she morphs into an entirely different person. She turns into an outgoing, party-hard girl who’s probably the first one on the dancefloor. Rather than trying to calm others down, she becomes a one-woman hype train, constantly encouraging and instigating behaviors that aren’t necessarily safe. Her standard high energy personality kicks into overdrive, and she can easily party all night- regardless of whether or not everyone else can keep up.
x Noel’s mother is probably the epitome of the kind of woman Dionysus would fall for. Christine was a party-hard girl, constantly going out clubbing with her friends whenever she had free time. It was during one of these romps she met Dionysus, and their one night stand gave birth to Noel. Christine never stopped being a crazy woman, though, still going to parties and clubs while she was pregnant(although she had enough common sense to stop drinking). Even after Noel was born, Christine would still go out for long hours at a time after work, leaving the infant at home with a babysitter. When Noel had her first monster encounter at 11, she initially tried to stay at home. However, as the attacks grew more frequent, she finally agreed to go to Camp. Her mother honestly didn’t care what Noel was doing, and sending her to summer camp seemed like an easy way to get her out of her hair. The first few years at camp Noel went back home after summer. However, she’s been staying year-round since she doesn’t really think she has a reason to go home. x Noel wields a relatively simple celestial bronze sword, accompanied by a small cluster of bombs resembling grapes that she keep strapped to her side. x Her mom is named Christine, and she has no blood siblings. x Noel definitely loves pestering her dad as much as she can without getting yelled at. x

Dakota is a fit boy, though small, only standing at 5'6. While fit, he isn't super active, only going to do activities with friends. His dark hair is long and curly, bouncing around his head when he moves and sometimes falling in his face. He has a strong jaw line and sorrowful. His eyes are almost black, a deep brown that always looks deep in thought. His complexion is lighter, as if he doesn't get as much sun as he should. Usually he could be found wearing jeans and a camp t-shirt, but when not at camp, he wears long-sleeved shirts and jeans. Surprisingly, he sometimes wears nice clothing, and is known to consult the Aphrodite cabin for fashion advice, even though he doesn't actually care much about it.
Dakota is very much a party person. In fact, Dakota has a bunch of friends in camp, and will greet anyone he knows and introduce himself to anyone he doesn't recognize. He is extremely friendly and social. For someone so friendly and social, Dakota actually has bad anxiety problems, mainly due to his forgetfulness. As someone who wants to be popular and friends with everyone around him, Dakota's memory isn't the best, particularly with names. He can know a person's face and where he met them, but can never get the name right, even forgetting the names of his closest friends. He also suffers the typical dyslexia and ADHD of most half-bloods, and paired with his problem, it causes him no small amount of stress as he tries to remember, leaving him to avoid saying any name.
x Dakota struggled in school and was expelled twice, leading him to be bullied and pushed aside. He was only saved when his elder brother got involved. They truly believed that they were full-blooded siblings. For years, they lived as a small family, and even with his issues Dakota was alright with it. For his tenth birthday his brother dropped a cat in his lap. Shortly after, Dakota made his first friend, and was happy. However, when he was 11, he discovered he had a strange affinity with plants. His friend told him about a camp, and after much convincing, his mother let him join the friend in going there. Dakota's friend turned out to be a satyr, and Dakota found himself in camp, where he met his father for the first time. It took a while before he understood everything, and he went back home to explain it to his brother, who was both angry and confused. Eliza is a petite girl of 5'3, with a lean but active figure. Her long hair tumbles past her shoulders in dark brown curly waves, left down and messy to flow in the slightest wind. Her face is soft, with a small nose and round eyes. Her eyes are a bright hazel-green, sparkling in the light. Her skin is a pale ivory. Eliza's clothing changes based on the day, though almost always she is wearing shorts and sandals. And, always, the colors are as bright as her personality. The only thing that she wears at all times is a small, jeweled skull charm on a silver chain, present at all times around her neck.
Eliza is friendly and compassionate, but her main focus isn't on socializing. Considered by many as different and strange, she has a passion for nature. She loves the fields, enjoying to lay on the grass or run around barefoot, urging plants to grow or watching bug crawl along. She has no fear of animals or of poisonous plants, always trying to get small creatures to feed out of her hand. For a child of the god of the dead, Eliza is easily the complete opposite of what everyone expects, constantly being confused with a child of Demeter of Persephone. Most normal people avoid her, seeing the girl laying on the ground or talking to trees as crazy.
x Eliza's mother was a gardener with a truly green thumb. Eliza always helped out, and her mother got her into the habit of speaking to the plants, as she believed that since the flowers were alive as well they sometimes needed encouragement. However, Eliza was the child of one of the big three, and monsters were attracted to her greatly. It was no surprise that they were constantly attacked. Her mother died, and Eliza was forced to flee. Of course, she still gave off a strong beacon for monsters, and it is no surprise that a satyr was able to find her so easily as well. Melissa is adorable yet fierce, a combination which can often be confusing. She’s rather short, standing at only 5’, but she is fairly muscled for a child her age. Her jet black hair has banges dyed in pink and blue, as well as several strands further back. Her eyes are sparkling green, and are half obscured beneath dark, heavy lashes. She has several piercings along her face, including her lip and chin as well as multiple ear piercings, decked out with metal rings and spikes. Her nails are almost always painted in bright hues, and she always has several metal rings on her fingers at any given time. As for clothing, Melissa loves wearing dark colors and distressed fabrics, as well as choker necklaces and belts. She doesn't usually wear the camp t-shirt unless she has to, and then she always wears a dark jacket over the top of it. Melissa is permanently trapped between the realms of adorable and edgy. She gets really deep a lot of the time, complains a lot about how no one in her life understands her, and hardly has any close friends, but at the same time she’s a 13 year old girl. She loves pegasi and strawberries with a burning passion, and will go out of her way to help if either of these are involved. She loves going out and picking flowers in the rain as much as she loves staring up at the stormy clouds and thinking about how they mirror her soul. She often doesn’t realize that these two sides of her personality clash as much as they do, which can make for some… interesting interactions between her and other campers. Still, she doesn’t really care what they think. She’s her own person, and she won’t let anyone else tell her how to live her life.
x Melissa’s father Alan was an organic foods salesman, a business which brought him into contact with Iris and her store. The two quickly hit it off, and Melissa followed soon after. Alan was delighted to have a young child to raise, and even more excited when it seemed like she might be following in his footsteps. However, for as much as Melissa wanted to please her dad, she just couldn’t get into organic produce like her dad. She much preferred activities such as fighting, brooding, and staring off into the distance dramatically. When she first went to Camp, Melissa was more looking for a respite from her father’s nagging than a safe haven. However, now having weathered a few monster attacks, Melissa can appreciate the camp a bit more. She still really uses it to escape from her dad, though, and while she’d never stay year-round, she’s certainly begged Chiron to let her stay “a few extra days” at the end of summer. He is more of a nice casual person, liking to look good even when not necessary. Though during summer he will wear the camp t-shirts, he rarely ever wears shorts and instead prefers long pants.
While friendly, Ryan doesn't go out of his way to make friends, unlike his younger sister. He likes to hang out with those he is close to. He is observant and understanding, picking up the smallest signs of discomfort easily. And even though he seems more distant, he doesn't seem to get uncomfortable easily. However, should one get between him and his sister or hurts someone he cares for, he shows his pure son of Nemesis side, where he would do anything to get revenge on the one who wronged him. And with his ability, he is terrifying in a fight, effecting things to cause him to have the advantage on dodging attacks.

Sawyer James is nothing more than lean muscles, dark freckles, and princely charm. He has narrow hips and broad shoulders, all angles and charming grins. He has lightly tanned skin, just enough to give him a sun-kissed glow but not so much that he appears to be darker complected than he truly is. His typically soft auburn hair, which he dyes a deep midnight black, has been pushed up and out of his face so many times that now it stands up almost on its own, with barely any product applied. Sawyer had a sharp jawline and high cheekbones, to accentuate his angular eyes and full lips. His eyes are a deep ocean blue, almost violet in extreme lighting, and often are full of mischief and laughter. Sawyer often wears a simple chain necklace, and has a snakebite piercing as well as his ears pierced. He has tattoos on both arms and his back.
Sawyer is what's known as a "princely" type. He's charming, gentlemanly, and every bit the flirt that he seems to be. He will flirt with almost anything that moves, some would say. He loves to joke and compliment others, and his favorite pastime is seeing just how flustered he can get someone. He often says a blush is the most gorgeous thing a person can wear. Underneath this flirty demeanor, though, is a side that no one has seen in years. Sawyer can be serious, and downright scary, when the time comes. He has a lifetime's worth of built up anger and anxiety that he rarely lets out, save when he's in battle or training solo. Under extreme amounts of stress, he can lash out and burn quite a few bridges while doing so - all while never knowing the damage he's doing. He tends to be impulsive and reckless, especially when it comes to danger.

When it comes to appearance, Chloe wants to stand out. Standing at 5'2" the smaller girl often stands on her tip-toes and wears high-heels to make up for her height. This might work out nicely if Chloe wasn't about as graceful as a drowning goose. Her hair is jet black and perfectly straight, though she usually ties it back in a bun or high ponytail. Her face is a tad bit too angular to give her a dainty look, and a small scar cuts upwards from her lip. The demigod's eyes are a rich brown, so dark that they almost appear black. When it comes to clothes, Chloe is all about bright colors. She's often one to claim that the camp t-shirt doesn't go with anything, and on many an occasion has packed her own set of clothes to wear instead. Her favorite color is sunflower yellow, and you better bet half her wardrobe is that color. She prefers skirts to shorts, and heels to sneakers- much to many of her fellow camper's dismay. he has both her ears pierced and multicolored earrings seem to constantly dangle from her ears.
Chloe isn't the type of person to back down from a challenge. 120 pounds of pure determination, the daughter of Tyche can be a lot to handle. She is extremely energetic, the type of girl who does cartwheels when walking to and from her cabin. She is curious in nature, which is problematic since she can seem to remember much. She has a terrible memory, and more often than not her arms are covered with pen messages of things she's not supposed to forget. Like most children of Tyche, Chloe can't resist a gamble. If you were to simple utter the words "I bet you can't..." she's there- ready to prove you wrong. While perhaps not the strongest demigod, Chloe's optimism is infectious. After all, her personal slogan for battles is: "Don't worry! Luck is on our side". While she may not be able to understand math problems or the elements of the periodic table, Chloe does understand people. She's empathetic to a fault, and is likely to reach out to people in tough situations. Deep down inside she just wants to help people but is terrified that she won't be able to.
x Chloe grew up is the suburbs of Chicago, IL, and always had trouble with schools and monsters. Her father, a high school teacher, met Tyche on a wild trip to Las Vegas with his buddies. After a short-lived fling he never expected to see her again. Or for that matter, he never expected Chloe to be dropped off at his door without even a hello. However, Chloe's father took her in with pride, and never gave up hope with her, even though she seemed destined to flunk out of every class she enrolled in. When Chloe was twelve, her father married an ex-marine and single mother named Gwen Barcer. Despite all the odds, however, Gwen's daughter Wren was also a demigod. Tall and lanky, Dahlia finds it hard not to stand out in a crowd. Standing just under six feet, the daughter of the wind god sports a physique that makes her fast, flexible, and the clumsiest person you'll ever meet. Her long hair is strawberry blond in it's natural color, though it is a few shades lighter now after she stopped dying it blond just last year. Her face is more round than angular, and soft freckles splatter her cheeks and arms. Her eyes are a light blue, and appear almost grey in full sunlight. When it comes to clothes, Dahlia's style is much more soft and girly than one would expect. She'll often pair her orange camp t-shirt with pastel blue overalls and flower crowns. She collects friendship bracelets (from friends- she's not like making a bunch in her cabin to pretend she has friends) and will probably have at least three on her wrists at any given time.
Dahlia isn't the brightest half-blood in camp, but what she lacks in brains she make up for with heart. The young demigod seems to always be open and friendly to those she meets. She doesn't enjoy holding onto grudges, she'll always offer to help out if she thinks she can, and she loves meeting new people. However, for all her show Dahlia is quick to doubt herself. She doesn't suffer from severe daddy issues, like most demigods. No, in fact, she's quite glad that she got to be raised with Markus as her father. But, the feeling of being unwanted by a parent is something even the brightest demigods have to deal with. Dahlia is much more of the 'follow orders' type of girl, than a planner. She's perfectly content having someone else do the thinking for her, even if she takes issue with their actual plan. She avoids confrontation like the plague, feeling like she'd much rather wait and see how things turn out. Her fellow campers may see her as ditsy and capricious, but really Dahlia struggles to try and be the kind of person everyone likes rather than just being herself.
x Dahlia lived most of her life with her mother, a young flight attendant and her stepfather, a kindly librarian. Though she traveled around quite a bit, the demigod spent most of her life in Boston, Massachusetts, and will often visit there on vacations. However, when she turned twelve, her powers started to manifest, attracting many the monster. Her mother, fearing for her child’s safety convinced her husband to move once again, this time to a small off the map town. When Dahlia first learned of Camp she had to beg her mother to let her go, and still has to risk using a cellphone to call her every couple of weeks. Adelaide Paige, only daughter of famous chef M'Leah Paige, looks older than she truly is, helped along by her interest in makeup. Addie is a short girl with mid-back length dusky blonde hair, though sometimes she dyes the ends of it to create an ombré effect. Her roots are a dark ash brown, which she often considers strange because her hair grows out blonder than it shows up. With perfectly tailored eyebrows and jewelry, clothes, and accessories galore, Addie looks every bit the spoiled princess. Her soft brown eyes, broken up with light golden flecks that turn her eyes the color of whiskey in the sunlight, are usually masked in eyeshadow and lined with color. She often wears ripped jeans and Adidas racers or hightop Vans with her camp shirts, and she loves to redesign and fix the shirts up to make them cute.
You would think, with a rich mom and the best high-end clothes, Addie would act every bit the spoiled princess that she seems. She doesn't, though. Addie is sweet, trusting, and almost a little too naive for her own good. She loves to help anyone and anything that needs it, and is usually found anywhere other than her cabin because she has trouble saying no. Addie trusts easily, and gives too many chances, something that has gotten her hurt many times in the past. Despite this, she refuses to give up on people, even when it's clear that she should. She loves to flirt and have fun, and despite her explicit preference for girls, Addie is willing to flirt with any guy she has to if it gets her what she wants, or needs.
x Unlike most campers, Addie has met her godly parent. Some look at Mateo and automatically think he screams nerd, son of Athena!! Which is only partially correct. He is a pretty big nerd, but no, his parentage belongs to Helios, one of the minor gods. Thankfully, he looks nothing like his deadbeat father (which Mateo would've said with enough anger to implode) and is almost the mirror image of his mother. His skin tans very nicely, thanks to his mother's Mexican roots, so in the summer he looks quite bronze-y and sun kissed. In the winter he stays at Camp Half-Blood so he still is outside a lot and maintains a glow-y skin color. He stands at a rather tall height, maintaining 6'2 since his sophomore year of high school, and has subtle muscles purely from training. Before Camp Half-Blood, Mateo was a bit chunky, but filled out with muscle when he began training. Mateo's face is all angles, with high, defined cheekbones and a sharp jawline as well as full, pink lips. His eyes are a warm chocolate brown framed by dark tortoise, round-framed glasses, sometimes he will wear contacts instead, usually when he is training or physically active. Mateo's hair is dark black and he often finger combs is back and away from his face. When it comes to his personality, Mateo is just.. there. He's not quiet, but not loud. Not an introvert, but not an extrovert. He doesn't go out of his way to make himself known, but sometimes he just fades to the background, which is something he can live with, as he has no deep desire for attention. Mateo thoroughly enjoys reading and researching, and is rather intelligent, but does not have the level of intellect as some of the children of Athena. He enjoys comics and Marvel movies, does this classify him as a nerd? Maybe. Does he care? Absolutely not. His motto in life is to do what makes you happy before it's to late, something that he learned from his mother.
x He and his mother struggled deeply after his father abandoned them. As soon as he could, Mateo was searching for jobs to help his mother provide. Jonathan Wilcox, also known as Jon and Snow, is a tall, lanky young man that, despite his tendency to adopt everyone and act like a dork, gives off a bad boy vibe. He has white-blonde hair, intense sky blue eyes, snake bite, and multiple tattoos. He has porcelain skin, pale freckles, and lean muscles that just barely give the vibe that he works out. His white-blond hair is long enough on top that he spikes it up and back to the left, but he keeps it short on the sides in a fade. He has a diamondback rattlesnake tattoo winding around his right bicep, a bible verse on his left hip, an outline of the world map on his ankle, and two arrows facing opposite directions on either side of his spine.
Jon is a dork. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. He's a dork, a dweeb, a loser. Any form of the word you can think of. He is clumsy, sweet, nervous, and soft all rolled up in a trickster blanket. He 'adopts' anyone he can, and can often be heard saying 'sh i'm ur dad now'. Jon is the kind of person to see a mobster get a papercut and immediately start comforting and 'fixing' him. Don't let this teddy bear exterior fool you though. Jon didn't get the nickname "Snow" only because of his hair. No, when Jon is really, truly angry, he doesn't explode. He goes cold - from frosty glares to a voice that could cut a diamond. He is insanely intimidating when he is truly livid, something that came from living with a gang for a period of time - he picked up a few habits. When irritated or frustrated, he has a tendency to absently play with knives: twirling them between his fingers, picking at the dirt under his fingernails, anything. It take quite a bit to get him this angry, though, so unless you plan to kill someone he loves or something like that, you should be alright.
x Jon “Snow” Wilcox has only been coming to camp for about a year and a half. Before his heritage was revealed, Jon lived a pretty normal life - at least, as normal a life as you can live when you’re part of a crime ring. Well, no, not exactly part of it - he only treated their wounds and made sure they stayed alive. Tall, dark, handsome; Nate never cared much about his looks. His jet-black hair is reminiscent of his father’s wings. It is fairly long in length, being able to run his fingers through the soft locks, but not long enough to annoy him. His face could be called regal, but it seems he perpetually has dark bags under his eyes and an unreadable expression. He doesn’t often smile, it’s more like a smug smirk. Not at all in a malicious way, he just doesn’t let his guard down often. His honey gold eyes also come from his father. Nate is fairly tall, standing right about at six feet. He hit his growth spurt at 13, and hasn’t grown an inch since. He is very lean like a varsity football player.
Nate, despite being a son of death, is actually quite charming. There is something about his personality that seems to draw people in. He doesn’t even understand it. Its sort of walking outside at night, the darkness is mysterious and holds things unknown, and yet you can’t help but keep moving forward. He is sort of sarcastic, and can sometimes be very blunt. His humor can definitely be on the darker side. It is clear to anyone that Nate has his damage due to the bad-boy persona that he puts on. He acts like he doesn’t care about anything, but in fact he cares a lot. When he loves, he loves fiercely. He feels that justice is one of the most important things in the world and would stick up for those he cared about without hesitation. Nate is also quite intelligent and loves to learn, which tends to surprise people when they first find this out.
x Nate grew up in a very small suburb of Paris, Ontario, Canada. He was a very quiet child, spending a lot his time reading or learning in any way he could. As soon as monster started to regularly attack him, his mother, Vivian, shipped him off to Camp Half-Blood. Here he really came out of his shell. He found the people he was able to connect to, making friends and even started his first relationship with Michelle Easton (his first love). After Michelle has died, though, he fell off the map for a few months. Once he came back, he was a shadow of himself. The Nate everyone knew was still there, but there was a new weight that he carried around. He became very close with Matthias at this time. x Nate wields a Stygian Iron scythe. Vince looks like every stereotypical jock, with a tall and muscular build standing at 5’11”. His skin is a rich dark brown, with several paler scars running along his arms and legs from accidents. His short black hair is curly and loose, and seems to have a permanent case of helmet hair despite the fact that Vince is too cool to wear a helmet at all. His eyes are dark brown, and always glitter with a kind of dormant energy that seems to be just waiting to spring up and explode. As for clothing, Vince prefers tight tank tops and jean capris on bottom, occasionally coupled with a chain necklace or loose fitting black vest. He tend to keep it more simple, though, and only adds things to his outfit when trying to impress someone. He’s ripped the sleeves off his camp t-shirt, making it more similar to the shirts he usually wears. Vince is clueless in most social situations, either simply nodding along with whatever’s being said or hiding in a corner. He’s a good guy to back you up, because once his mind is set on a belief he’ll never back down on it, even if it seems obvious he’s wrong. He’s really stubborn in that regard, and he’ll always agree with you if he’s decided you’re a good decision maker and fight anyone who disagrees with him. He’s absolutely hopeless around girls, though. Without really having a mother to go off of, he views females as a strange, foreign race to be held at a distance until they’re understood. He gets easily flustered around them(not because of attraction but because he doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing), and has trouble arguing against them because of this. Vince is fiercely protective of those he loves, though, and won’t let anyone hurt them, even if it means giving up his own life in the process.
x Vince’s father, Ethan, met his mother when he was driving in a motorcycle gang. His father loved to keep a tough guy persona, the kind of fiery nature and impulsive actions that attracted Bia to him. When Vince showed up on his doorstep, he was admittedly surprised, and initially went around asking who the baby belonged to before he realized it was probably his. Ethan raised Vince himself, along with the help of a bunch of his friends. Vince grew up in a testosterone-filled environment, without any major maternal figure. He learned to ride a motorcycle before he learned to ride a bike. When Vince had his first monster attack, he was reluctant to leave his father and his little group. However, as the attacks increased in frequency and ferocity, as well as his own powers surfacing unpredictably, he eventually decided to go just for the summers to help learn about his powers. He’s been there for 3 years now, and while he mostly views it as a waste of time, he has learned to control his abilities better. He also found a boyfriend, so he can’t view it as a complete loss. x Vince fights with a shotgun that fires celestial bronze bullets. x His father is named Ethan, and he’s dating Remy Ross. x He definitely has a motorcycle which he rides everywhere, including into cabins. Nymia Star Arland much prefers to go by Nym. She is a tall girl, topping out at almost 5'9, with mile-long legs. She isn't overly curvy, but she does have a nice figure, one she keeps fit with training and exercise, namely running—she loves to run, and she's very fast. She has pale skin that burns but never tans, and a smattering of light freckles that she hates with a passion. She tends to cover them with make-up, but otherwise doesn't bother with the stuff. Nym has hair the colour of a blazing fire. Its bright red, almost shockingly so, and shot through with darker and lighter strands that just makes its resemblance to fire even more complete. Its long and thick, reaching almost to her butt, and falls down her back in lush curls. Despite its length and thickness, it is usually kept sleek and soft, and worn in a high ponytail and/or braid. Nym's eyes are a bright and shocking shade of electric-blue, framed by thick, dark lashes. She is very fond of her eyes, and very expressive with them as well. She's very expressive in general, never bothering to try and hide her emotions (key word there being try), but her eyes especially flash with every emotion that passes through her. Despite having great legs, long and toned, Nym hates wearing anything other than jeans. She has a wide variety of them, in various colours and styles, but most of them have holes, and only some of them came that way. She accompanies her jeans with a pair of black high-tops and a wide variety of graphic tees.
Nym is probably as hot-tempered as one would expect her to be with hair like fire. In fact, her temper really does stem from her hair colour—or more accurately, from how she was treated because of it when she was young. Which is to say: not nicely. If kids weren't claiming it was dyed and she was a liar for saying it wasn't, then they were calling her names based off its colour. Nym used to do her best to ignore them rather than fight back, but then the one time she finally snapped back, they stopped bothering her. So Nym stopped holding back her anger, and instead learned to use it as a defense against anyone and everyone who would dare try to put her down. She rarely tries to subdue her temper anymore, and it is often her first reaction to anything, even stuff that doesn't really warrant it. But Nym isn't mean on purpose, and while she can be ridiculously stubborn and prideful, she won't withhold a deserved apology. If you manage to get past her fiery defenses, Nym has proven herself to be fiercely loyal to friends and family, or anyone who earns her respect. She is extremely brave, almost to the point of fearlessness. Even when she feels afraid, she doesn't let it stop her from doing what needs to be done. She's generally a very independent girl, willing and more than able to do things on her own. But she still enjoys human company, more than she ever lets on. If you can withstand the downsides to her fiery personality, you would likely enjoy being in her company. While it can take time for her to become comfortable enough with people to relax around them, once she has gotten to know you, she is quite fun to be around, with a feisty attitude and an endless well of adventurous ideas. But watch out: she uses sarcasm like it's a second language.

x Nym was born in Estes Park, Colorado, but you wouldn't guess that by her slight English accent. Her father is from London, England, and so Nym grew up hearing his accent and picked it up herself, though it isn't as strong as it would be if she'd grown up in England; mostly, its just a few words that come out sounding distinctly British, while the rest is clearly American. Nym's father is a hotshot, a specially trained firefighter who specializes in stopping wildfires nationwide. During the off season, he's always around and Nym would spend the time with him as much as possible, going on hikes, camping trips, bike rides, and other active, outdoor activities, for neither like being indoors much. During fire season, Nym used to stay with her aunt, until it was revealed that she was a demigod. Then her camp time mostly coincided with her father's fire fighting season, and during times when he had to leave early, or remain late, Nym is now old enough to look after herself at home. Nym has been coming to Camp for four years now, and she enjoys it a lot more than she tends to let on. x Nym's weapon of choice is a pair of fighting daggers. Made of bronze and double-edged, Nym often imbues her daggers with electricity when fighting, making them even more deadly than they already are. Along one side of the blade on both daggers is an inscription in ancient Greek: If you play with fire — You're bound to get burned. x Nymia is the only daughter of Jason Arland, but she has recently acquired a younger almost-step-sister through her father's girlfriend, Kylie. Nym's relationship with the four-year-old Harley is strained, as Nym has never been very good with children, but she tries to be civil with Kylie, for the woman makes her dad happy, and that's all that matters to her. Esperanza has a beauty to her that rivals even that of the Aphrodite cabin. Standing at an even 5'5" the demigod is all curves. Her delicate frame is tied together with her ever-so-slightly wavy hair. The locks are a shade of brown so dark it appears black in poor lighting. Her face isn't foreign to makeup, however, the demigod prefers to stay natural on most days. Just a little mascara and lipstick and she's good to go. Her eyes are a dark brown in color, though small golden flecks make them appear slightly amber in direct sunlight. When it comes to outfits, Esperanza prides herself in being able to make any-thing look good. However, she usually keeps it simple, short-shorts with her camp t-shirt tied to the side and maybe a bracelet or two. Each of her ears are pierced three times, and she'll often wear three pairs golden earrings: a pair of eyes, a pair of ears, and a pair of mouths, each one representing her mother's powers.
When it comes to personality, Esperanza falls pretty hard into your pretty girl cliches. She relies heavily on her looks to get her way, and sees any issue with her appearance like an issue with a weapon or power. When she around adults she all smiles and acts with a practiced politeness. However, when she's around her peers the Pheme kid can be a massive diva. She sees it as her duty as Pheme head councilor to be the prime source for all gossip and drama in the camp. In her cabin she has notebooks full of only the juiciest news: boyfriends cheating on girlfriends, campers sneaking off to the woods at night, children of Poseidon bad-mouthing the pegasi- you name it. Most campers assume that like most Pheme and Aphrodite children she wants to be a supermodel or actress. However, this is not the case. Esperanza wants to be a journalist, just like her father. This is mainly because she finds other people's stories and lives much more interesting than her own.
x Esperanza lived most of her life in New York City. Her father is a journalist, and was more often than not out doing interviews and specials all over the world. Because of this, Esperanza never really felt like she had a family. It didn't help that her father did even want her. Her mother left her on his doorstep on a stormy night after a brief fling. Though he tried to be a good father, there was a lot going against him. When the monster attacks first started up, she managed to escape by traveling with her father across the world. When she first heard about camp, she was doubtful but decided to give it a try none the less. After just a year, she chose to stay year round. She's only been on one quest in her life: a rescue mission for some campers who'd been capture by cyclopi. Reyes is rather... eye catching, but not because he has flashy coloring or a demanding presence. He isn't even perfectly handsome, though he is often considered attractive. But Reyes doesn't like attention, and therefore does nothing to try and enhance his appearance or attract attention. He wears loose, dark clothes to hide his well-muscled physique. His years of training in MMA has left him very fit, with broad shoulders, abs, and a narrow waist. He stands at a rather imposing 6 foot 3, and he weighs about 170 pounds. He accompanies his dark jeans and t-shirts with combat boots and a black leather jacket—which he can often be seen wearing even in sweltering temperatures. But as a son of Hades, Reyes tends to run at a body temperature much cooler than most others. He has dusky tanned skin, with a scattering of scars, as well as a couple of tattoos, on his arms and torso. His tattoos are mostly simple yet elaborate black designs, scrolling from his writs up to his shoulders and across his chest, and it stops just above his abdomen. His hair is raven-wing black, and he keeps it cut short. Not quite to his skull, but still with very little hair to grab. It is shorter on the sides than it is on the top and back of his head, and it looks messy and unkempt, because he is often running his hands through it. Reyes has very interesting eyes. They're a deep, dark brown, but they tend to flare with hints of amber when he is emotional. His eyes have always been his best tell when trying to figure out what he's thinking or feeling. He has his poker face mastered quite well, but oftentimes his emotions still slip through in his eyes.
Reyes is not, and never has been, a very easy person to get along with. He is often portrayed as rude, sarcastic, and cynical. He is always blunt, sometimes brutally so. He speaks his mind, and he doesn't bother to filter or sugarcoat anything. But the upside to this is you will rarely hear Reyes speak a lie; he sees no point in it, as secrets hardly ever stay that way. He is fiercely determined and quietly arrogant; he hates quitting and while he doesn't exactly strut around with an "I'm the best" attitude, he does carry himself with confidence and assertiveness. Reyes is a leader, not a follower. He hates taking orders unless he knows and respects the person giving them, but he's not exactly the best leader either; he just has a bad habit of barking orders and expecting them to be obeyed. He does, however, have good instincts and generally the orders he gives are stemmed from well-thought out plans. Reyes is incredibly smart, almost ridiculously so. He doesn't make a big deal of it, and he certainly doesn't express it, but he loves learning new things, about all things, and he has a memory like a steel trap. He's very tactical, and time and experience has made him very good at difficult split-second decisions and thinking on his feet. Reyes is slow to trust, but once you've gained it, he is fiercely loyal and he can often be a bit over-protective. He has never allowed himself to care too deeply for anyone beyond his mother, and at this point in time he has no intentions of changing that. Reyes is brave and fearless, sometimes even reckless, when facing just about everything, but he is terrified to lose those closest to him.

x Reyes was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He lived there with his mother, working and going to school, right up until about a month ago, when his mother finally lost her fight with cancer. As a son of Hades, Reyes has attracted many monsters over the years, but even after being found by a satyr and learning about what he was, he refused to leave his mother and his home. He started training more, pushing himself harder in all his martial arts classes. He managed to acquire a pair of bronze fighting daggers, and he worked hard to master his powers. As he learned, he fought off all the monsters that found him. The first years worth of fights he often barely made it out alive, but as time passed, as his skills and powers grew, Reyes became very adept at killing monsters, with his close calls becoming few and far between. It wasn't until after his mother's funeral that Reyes decided he no longer wanted to stay in Rio, so he left. He hasn't consciously made the decision to come to Camp Half-Blood, but he has been slowly heading that direction since he left home x Reyes prefers to use hand-to-hand combat and his martial arts training when he has to fight. He has been training in various fighting styles his whole life, and he has adapted some of them to be used alongside his powers. He has also trained extensively with combat daggers, and he will fight with them when necessary. x Reyes was the only son of Laura Farrow. Before she was diagnosed with cancer, she worked as a groundskeeper at a cemetery; Reyes begun helping her when he was eleven, and by the time he was thirteen, he was officially hired as her assistant. When Laura got sick, Reyes took over as the cemetery's groundskeeper, and he also got a second job to help pay for his mother's medical bills. Three years later, she passed, and Reyes left shortly after. x Reyes's first language is Spanish, as his mother was born in Mexico, but he is also fluent in Portuguese and English. When he's mad, irritated, frustrated, or just feeling extra grumpy, he can often be heard spearing in Spanish. x
