This is all interesting so far. And I've got two questions. 1. Does Ivypool have her kits in this book, and what are their names? (I know that's two questions already, but...) 2. We now know that Spikefur's already died. Anyone else bit the dust? 1. According to the last chapter I just randomly went to, she had three kits. Bristlekit, Thritkit and Flipkit. They're only a few days old.
2. Well, we all already know Rowanclaw's dying. Also, according to the last chapter, I was right about a TC cat dying. Briarlight's dead, not sure how yet though. I have to read the rest of the book. So right now, don't know if anyone else dies.
don't you mean Thriftkit

Yarrowleaf named her kits Hopkit and Flaxkit.
Bristlekit is a pale gray she-kit, Thriftkit is a dark gray she-kit, Flipkit is a tabby tom-kit.

Few Questions. What genders are Ivypool and Ferncloud's kits? I actually really like the names of all 3 of them! Do any kits become apprentices in the book? If so, who are the mentors? And lastly, do I have any Berrynose content to look forward to? Nothing on Berrynose. Rosepetal got her fourth apprentice. Boy, was that quick. She's mentoring Stempaw, Bumblestripe is mentoring Shellpaw and Mousewhisker is mentoring Plumpaw. Eaglepaw's mentor is Ambermoon. At least one of them is a first time mentor.

I teared up a little when Briarlight died. She knew she was dying, so she asked for her kin so she could say goodbye. Jayfeather blamed himself a little since he had the sickness before Briarlight and thinks he might have given it to her.

I think the Erin's forgot that Rippletail was part of Tigerheart's patrol. Because he's all of a sudden a kittypet named Buster. And he has been for a while. In his place on the patrol is now Slatefur.

no no i mean thats ok
not like mousewhisker trained in the dark forest or anything.
and i mean, even if he did, its not like birchfall is qualified for an apprentice at this age. nah. he's rather useless, actually
and i mean thats fine, its not like bumblestripe and rosepetal already had apprentices or that he's probably going through alot of heartache that might distract him as he's mentoring but whatever.
oh no, not like ambermoon isn't a cardboard cutout with .5 voice lines. nah. its cool.

Or thinks he just isn't suited to being a mentor or isn't mature enough. We've seen both of those scenarios before.

There, there Moonblazer. At least we still have fanfics. And who knows? Perhaps Bramblestar will give Berrynose one of Ivypool's kits. Hopefully.

I'm starting to think Bramblestar hates berrynose. Or thinks he just isn't suited to being a mentor or isn't mature enough. We've seen both of those scenarios before. *As mousewhisker trains in the dark forest, acts just as huffy and arrogant at times *As bumblestripe chatters and chases after Dovewing even when she was clearly not interested like an immature child *as every single character who recieved those apprentices has never had a litter of kits or raised kits in their lifetimes *as Berrynose's mate, who is achingly similar to him, has recieved one, and as his kits, who orchestrated a plan to literally get df trainees to run into foxes each get an apprentice or two *as Berrynose has done none of what was mentioned above and has so far only spoken his mind as a form of immaturity from what i can remember. I can't see it being the case at this point that he's apparently so immature compared to each cat mentioned.

He also seems to have a rather short temper, which could be a huge problem if he had an apprentice. Birchfall seems to be somewhat similar, though definitely more mature. I suspect that's why neither has had an apprentice yet.

i just
it boggles me, man.
I know he's only some annoying side character to some but this character speaks to me on a level. And it's like watching someone get pushed aside and deemed lesser for other people's images.
i dunno. ignore my whining XD

I suspect that's why neither has had an apprentice yet. But Cloudtail, Dustpelt, Spiderleg, Thornclaw, Bramblestar, Squirrelflight, Ivypool and many other mentors had short tempers too. Heck, Sparkpelt is now having flashes of immature tempers. There was literally a scene in BrS dedicated to Brambleclaw believing Berrynose had literally matured! This inconsistancy is killing me!

Yeah, they manage to rescue the kits. Rowanclaw and Nettle were both killed in the process. Nettle wanted to keep the kits because they're his kits.

Yeah, they manage to rescue the kits. Rowanclaw and Nettle were both killed in the process. Nettle wanted to keep the kits because they're his kits. Good. I hated it when they left us with the cliffhanger of Star Flower being kidnapped in AFD.
