You know what's kind of weird is that, no matter how much Breezepelt tried to not be like his father... he kinda ended up being like him. Lost the trust of the clans. Became mates with a loyal WindClan cat right after. Still gets given a hard time whenever he makes accusations. Will always be seen as someone who can never erase his past, no matter how much he denies it or runs from it.

Leafstar mentions Yarrowleaf and Sleekwhisker at the gathering. She says that they are on probation until Yarrowleaf's kits are born and weaned. The Clans are outraged. Breezepelt states that no ShadowClan cat could ever be trusted. Many cats just turned to stare at him. Alderheart even thought about how he isn't one to talk about trustworthiness. That part with Breezepelt...I got just the thing for their reaction to him: SNAP. |

I don't think Breezepelt is heartless and I do believe he genuinely loves his kits, but I've always assumed he's just going to give his kits bad lessons and poison their minds with false words like Nightcloud did. Maybe he won't coddle them, but since he's becoming a father to get back at Crowfeather (I can't remember what Kate said exactly, to show him how it's really done I think?) I can't see him being a very good parent. Breeze wouldn't neglect his kits, but I can't imagine him being a good role model. I can see his relationship with his kits being more like Needletail/Violetshine. Love their close loved ones but set bad examples for them. |

But unlike Crowfeather, it doesn't seem to be as harsh, at least when it comes to how the other Clans see him anyway. This is actually the first time since Dovewing's Silence that his past actions have been addressed, and he seems to genuinely like Heathertail. And if Kate's words are anything to go by, he'll at least be a better father to his kits than Crowfeather was to him. |

Now I'm hoping to see a reaction from Millie. I want Blossomfall and Bumblestripe to comfort her while she's grieving, and hopefully make amends considering the Erins still dropped that out (which is very frustrating). Since we saw Millie bond with Blossomfall's kits, surely it means that something good happened between them recently if she's bonding with her other kits again.

Y'know, thinking back, I can't help but wonder if Sleekwhisker is suppose to serve as a sort of parallel to Needletail. Both cats were in love with rogue life, but whereas Needletail realized her wrongdoings after Rain died and tried to make up for them, Sleekwhisker just seemed to get worse to the point of killing one of her friends!
But then Darktail died, and it seems like this is when she finally opened her eyes to the truth, especially after Spikefur died. Now she's trying to make amends... or so she claims, anyway. Really, the only difference is that Needletail is dead while Sleekwhisker is still alive.
That said, she could still be untrustworthy. And a part of me hopes this is the case.

I doubt Leafstar would be that cruel, but this arc has alreafy ruined enough characters that I wouldn't be surprised. At this point, they deserve nothing less. Sleek should just be killed at this point seeing as she had a "paw" in at least one murder, likely more. Exile without her kits would be a better punishment for Yarrow. Death would be too kind for her. |

Alderheart managed to arrange for Hawkwing and Violetshine to be there when Twigpaw finally got her name. Finpaw was also very happy for Hawkwing to be there. It's noted that those two are still close.
