I knew someone would get this early. All I'm hoping for is that Sparkpelt will give Twigpaw some tough love! And maybe Ivypool's reaction about Dovewing leaving ThunderClan. It has to be announced in this book.

So far, I'm on chapter 9.
Violetshine seems anxious about Tree leaving SkyClan. Tree also saw Spikefur's ghost. He got sick, the rogues wouldn't help him. The only cats who tried to help him were Yarrowleaf and Sleekwhisker (I still don't like you though). I have no clue what happened to Slatefur. He hasn't been mentioned as of yet.
Sleekwhisker and Yarrowleaf want to rejoin ShadowClan. Tawnypelt doesn't trust them, Rowanclaw states that he forgives them. Leafstar turned them away. Snowbird, Scorchfur and Juniperclaw aren't happy at this. They ended up keeping them in ShadowClan's old camp in secret. Whorlpaw was in on this as well and Strikestone knew about it.
Yarrowleaf is also expecting Nettle's kit. All in all, I'm not surprised that Violetshine doesn't trust them.

At the Moonpool the medicine cats, minus RC, were given a message. "The shadows are approaching, and must not be dispelled." Alderheart was visited by Needletail, who he's very happy to see is in StarClan, Puddleshine was visited by Dawnpelt and Kestrelflight was visited by Lioneye. No clue about the other medicine cats.
As they are leaving, Alderheart heard a noise. He couldn't pick up a scent though, so he thought he had imagined it. The next chapter showed that Twigpaw followed them to the Moonpool. Yellowfang came to her and said that she didn't belong here. Twigpaw doesn't know if she just meant at the Moonpool or not. While there, Twigpaw did have a dream though. That fire was roaring through the ThunderClan camp, she thinks it's the TC camp, and there were many drowned trees and piles of smoldering debris.

That's what Spikefur gets I suppose by associating with the rogues I guess. He could have been helping out his mate and kits.
I'd be suspicious of those two as well. Yarrowleaf not so much I guess as she might just want to raise her kits with cats who will support them- with the rogues she'd be on her own- but at the same time if she's only looking for help for selfish reasons- and not because she cares about the clan- that's definitely suspicious. I also wouldn't be surprised if Sleekwhisker went along with her because she knew she'd have a better chance of coming back if she was with an expecting queen.
They can't be up to much good.

There's sickness in both ThunderClan and WindClan. And they had to collect the watermint from RiverClan's border. Shimmerpelt and Havenpelt caught them and told them to leave. The ThunderClan and WindClan cats that were there were Alderheart, Sparkpelt, Twigpaw, Featherpelt, Hootwhisker and Larkwing. Alderheart managed to convince Shimmerpelt and Havenpelt to let him talk to Mistystar. Mistystar let them take the herbs, but only because of the sickness. She also told Alderheart if they come back her warriors will chase them off. Willowshine is noted to not be happy.

Twigpaw knew she shouldn't have come to the Moonpool, but when she heard Jayfeather and Alderheart talking about the prophecy, she decided to follow them to see if there was any way she could help, or at least learn something. Why does that annoy me? Actually, it seems like everything Twigpaw says or does has annoyed me. I really hope she gets character growth in this book. |

Also from the last chapter, Alderheart sees Rippletail in Twolegplace. I guess he became a kittypet.

I kinda wish she stripped her of her name and just called her Sleek. |

I read the last chapter, so I know Finpaw's warrior name. It's Finleap. I rather like it. Also from the last chapter, Alderheart sees Rippletail in Twolegplace. I guess he became a kittypet. Finleap sounds nice. And really? I hope that's not the case. Snowbird has lost enough already. |
