I have River of Fire! *Spoilers*

I'm sorry, but if you don't want spoilers, then why are you on a spoiler thread for River of Fire? People here are very mindful of spoilers, so you have nothing to worry about anyway unless someone forgets to put a warning in the title.

..some people tried to fool me into thinking hawkwing is hawkfrost   Who would believe that's? Hawkfrost is dead. And leaf star probably won't die they said hawkwing killed leafstar

I swear, each book she has been doing something significant. She’s not worthless, she’s not just laying around, and she’s needed. She’s always thinking of others and never thinking about herself. One single selfish moment in a long life dedicated to rarely anything but service doesn’t define her.

My biggest thing is many of this stuff could've been given to Alderheart for development, except the training Puddleshine part. I wouldn't have minded if, say, Willowshine had taken that, since we know little to nothing about her, and have seen almost nothing from RiverClan. In fact, I'd have preferred Willowshine, since we've had tons of things with Mothwing before, like when she helped Jayfeather in The Last Hope. Alderheart had interactions with Leafpool in ShadowClan, but such interactions could've been given to Willowshine, and I don't see how they would've changed much. We know who Leafpool is, but what about Willowshine? She's older and more experienced, and could give him wisdom, as well as Puddleshine.

Did she go to RiverClan? I can't remember. I don't think she did. So the offer was nice, but not needed (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

Even with five medicine cats, it hardly affected the plot. Cats died, but not afterward from lack of care (again, someone correct me). They said they were overwhelmed, but I don't recall bad things happening.

Again, I'd have liked those to be given to Alderheart. He's barely doing anything right now, even though he's a main character.

I mean it's possible. Especially since they were both good friends before the Kin showed up.

I'm kinda salty that no one killed Sleekwhisker. Was hoping Violetshine did in order to avenge Needletail. Though maybe she'll come back in The Raging Storm?

I didn't like it.

Ah, Ivy proving again how much she loves her sister, that's nice. Still, Dove could have handled this entire situation better...*BIG SIGH* So much could have been avoided, especially that dumpster fire known as THS. But anyways, I just hope this means we don't have to deal with Dove's arc anymore, please bury it once and for all and move on to more interesting cats.

I promise to explain in the morning.

Firestar and Spottedleaf, Leafpool and Crowfeather, Lionblaze and Heathertail, Jayfeather and Half Moon, Dovewing and Tigerheart, and now maybe Alderheart and Velvet. Seriously, I expected better from Alderheart at least.

Thriftkit, Flipkit, and Bristlekit. I'm fine with their names now that I know thrift is a flower, but TC has way too many kits now and there haven't been any kit deaths since Juniperkit and Dandelionkit.

I was pretty sure Briarlight would die, but it still kind of shocked me that the Erins finally killed her. Too bad Reedwhisker and Immortal Mistystar are still alive.

Tawnypelt is ShadowClan's deputy at last!!!!  She totally deserves it, even if she's too old to be leader.

I like all the apprentices' new warrior names except Smokehaze and, of course, Twigbranch. Finleap and Brindlewing are my favorites.

And I now officially hate Sleekwhisker.

Does Twigbranch still romantically like Finleap? If so, how much of her narrative is focused on Finleap? *Faith*
