I just got a really terrible thought. I really doubt this, but it was so terrible I had to share. "What remains when a fire has burned out." Ashes. I would scream if this was about Ashfur. Like I would be so done if Ashfur was in some kind of redemption prophecy. I seriously doubt this, but just imagine if that's what this meant. Heck no. If it ends up being Ashfur, I will burn the book. Personally, I think it's Skystar. |

I wonder who that tom in the prologue was. The one talking to Echosong. Also, that prophecy is confusing. Lol! XD I'm talking about this one: What remains when the fire has burned out?It was a prophecy he gave her once before. Now...who is this cat? It was mentioned that he has a thick gray pelt and blue eyes. I'm guessing he's a SkyClan cat. So...is it by any chance Skystar? That does kinda fit him. Fire = Firestar So what remains after Firestar dies? Is that what it's suppose to be? Um...his family? |

Faith, to answer your question, that's Skystar. Without a doubt. Just wondering how he isn't faded away yet... I'm certain that all the founding leaders are still in StarClan. Which is probably why he was there. Though it didn't sound like he was fading...hmm... |

It took him forever to forgive Squirrelflight and Leafpool and he broke his stick when he discovered Rock had lied to him as well. So...what is he going to do when he discovers the secret of SkyClan? Both his foster parents, his apprentice and even his own brother isn't telling him anything. Not yet, anyways.

It took him forever to forgive Squirrelflight and Leafpool and he broke his stick when he discovered Rock had lied to him as well. So...what is he going to do when he discovers the secret of SkyClan? Yuck, ShadowClan is being really cruel to Violetkit. It's so sad the little kit didn't know any games. And Pinenose seems to be trying to be nice, but at the end she's not that caring.
I hope Violetkit runs away. She's my favorite. I love her furry little behind so much.
Twigkit is so cute.
Ugh. What does Alderpaw even see in Needlepaw? She was kind of annoying me at first, but after she agreed to be Violetkit's friend I liked her. (Although she should've agreed sooner.)
Jayfeather just keeps falling down, down, down my like list. His grumpiness isn't cool salt TM no more. It's just straight out-and-out crabbiness.

Beware, spoilers below! Pros: Violet kit's Pov. I really wanted it to be Needlepaw, but she's getting the spotlight in another way. Violetkit is the odd one out. Poor kid. One star loses a life and a cat dies! Finally! Echosong's Pov in the prologue was interesting. I am certain that the gray Tom she sees is Clear Sky/Skystar. Cons: Needlepaw became a jerk, but not as much as Clear Sky in the DOTC series. Seriously? Why can't Twigkit become a warrior instead of a Medicine cat? We don't need FOUR of them! No loss of ThunderClan life in the battle of WindClan and Darktail's faux SkyClan. Come on, Erins! ThunderClan is not immortal! ThunderClan barely fought, though. They yanked some cats off each other and then were like "Peace out homies" WindClan had been fighting before and had sustained a lot of injuries |

More cats die! Honestly I love how this series is so deliciously dark compared to, say, TPOT or OOTS. It and Dawn Of The Clans seem to be returning to the magic that was the original series slowly but surely. It feels like seeing an old friend again.

I'm actually pretty happy with what I see so far. I feel like this arc is a huge improvement on Bramblestar's Storm and OotS.
-I am very happy to see that Needlepaw and Violetkit are bonding; I really want a sisterly bond between the two <3
-Fernsong seems like a sweetheart. I like how they slipped in a mention of him going hunting with Ivypool, too...
