I've just read it, and I really liked it! The part with Twigkit and the feather pretty much made my heart break, though. XD
And Leafpool's eagerness towards ShadowClan getting a new medicine cat apprentice was pretty funny, especially if she asked if it was a she-cat this time.

Am I the only one was really annoyed by the fact that they just picked a random kit to be the next medicine cat?

If Littlecloud is so old that he should have died long ago, then how the heck are Mistystar, Onestar, Brackenfur, Cloudtail, Brightheart, Graystripe and Thornclaw still alive? I guess ThunderClan has the fountain of youth hidden somewhere in their territory. And Misty and One are leaders so I guess that excuses them... but still

I really despise Needlepaw. She's got to be one of my least favorite cats in the series. In any book for that matter Poor little Violetkit. She seems so depressed  And she didn't even know any games...and Pinenose isn't very nice to her... Twig and Violet's moments with the feather were so cute. Poor kittens... I hate how everyone besides Alderpaw are so unsympathetic towards the kits I'm still not liking Jayfeather this arc. His grumpiness used to be cool, now it's not Also, a mistake on page 45: Twigkit is called Twigpaw Hey look some FernxIvy foreshadowing I wish they just let ShadowClan die out... |

I think it was to be expected that he wouldn't be happy after being left alone again. And besides, since when has Jayfeather missed an opportunity to complain. |

Since Twigkit wants to be a medicine cat, I wonder if Leafpool will die after all. There can't be four medicine cats! Leafpool is bound to return eventually, and her story is over.

Yay...it's not working for me. From what I gathered though is that Violetkit is the POV and her foster mother isn't as kind as Lilyheart.
So...can anyone please tell me what the prologue is about?
