"Yeah, don't mess with either of us. If you mess with one of us, you mess with both of us," she said, serious for a moment. It was true. That's why Kris dislikes Kyle so much. Not just because he was a bad person but because he had messed with Jordan. "I will say our scale has nothing to do with looks," Jordan said. Despite Kyle's obvious flaws, he was good looking. Even she and Kris could t argue with that. He was tall and athletic with blonde hair, light blue eyes, and an almost angelic looking face. He appeared to be the perfect all American boy. If only his personality was as beautiful as his face. "I'm not sure what your scale is based off of, but a lot of deliberation goes into a guy before we place him on the scale," she explained. "I have normal sunglasses if you don't want to deal with Kris' girly stuff," Hordan teased her cousin even though she had no idea what the other girl's sunglasses looked like. She stood up, smiling at Drake. "You get me," she said, glad somebody had been just as excited as her to go and do something. Jordan could only sit and talk for so long. "Okay, that works. We could hide it in backpacks or in the cameras like super secret ninjas." Ash laughed. It sounded ludicrous, and she was sure it would never happen, but it was fun to talk about this kind of crazy idea with Chase. Now, Ash would have continued her conversation with Chase when all of a sudden, another girl came out of nowhere and tripped over Chase, almost landing on her as well. She sat up, looking at the girl. "Are you okay?" She asked. Well, this was one way to meet someone. "There was a really intense game of volleyball." Victoria grumbled as she stood up, smiling at Ash. "I'm okay. Thanks." Well, this was uncomfortable. She shyly smiled at Chase. "Oh, uh, sorry... I really didn't mean to..." "Well, Vince, we are laying in the grass because why the heck not? It was this or a car and Chase picked the grass." She shrugged and smiled at him. "What are you out here?" She asked and stood up, feeling a little bit uncomfortable about sitting when talking to people that were standing. Soon Chase was the only one left in the ground. He didn't mind. He enjoyed sitting on the ground, though he was annoyed that he had to hold a hand up to shade his eyes when he looked at the pair of siblings and Ash. "Ah, no problem. I tend to go under the radar anyway. Sink into the background. All that stuff," Chase said with a laugh. That wasn't exactly true. It was more Arlo that did that kind of stuff, but Chase couldn't help but make the girl feel less uncomfortable about tripping over him. "Also, I'm pretty sure you prefdered the grass as well," Chase said, throwing a handful of grass at Ash. It didn't do much but cover her feet with grass and he shrugged. "Anyway, we were just chilling. Enjoying the weekend while we can." "Ah," Vince said with nod. "Are you guys siblings as well?" he asked, looking at his sister, then the other two. "Nah, just friends. I've got a brother and a sister, but neither of them are here. Ash has a brother..." Chase paused and looked at her. "It's just Jace, right? You don't have any more siblings I don't know about?" He asked. |

Keilana mouthed 'honey' behind her menu, trying not to roll her eyes. It was official, she decided. If she ever got a boyfriend, she was making a list of things not to call her. It was too cheesy, and personally she thought he was laying it on a bit thick, but that might have just been her and her aversion to anything too cheesy. "Aw, that's so sweet," she cooed. "I love you too." The words felt odd on her tongue. She wasn't used to telling anybody she loved them, not even her parents. She said it every once in a while, but not often. They were gone too much, and family nights weren't much of a thing anymore. She didn't let the discomfort show. "I didn't even know what to get, so I don't mind," she told him with a wave of her hand. She didn't know how to pronounce about half of the things on the menu. This wasn't much her scene. Although, she had been to a few fancy restaurants before. "Yeah, I'll get something cheap-ish." {I had to rush this because I'm being ushered out the door gahhh} Arlo felt weird with those whole acting lovey dovey and showering a girl with compliments thing. With the few girlfriends he'd had, they'd all been pretty casual relationships that didn't last more than a few months. He was just trying to play the part of Ryan Miller, a man about to propose to the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. "I know this place is a little, ah, unusual for us, but I know you've been having a tough time at work lately and thought you deserved something special," he said, finally decided on a meal that appeared to be some kind of pasta. Pasta was always a safe choice. "Have you decided yet?" he asked, setting his menu down and glancing at hers. He pointed to the meal he'd planned on ordering. "That's what I want to get. I believe it's similar to a recipe of my uncle's," he said. He sat back down in his seat and sipped his glass of water. None of the other patrons seemed to pay any attention to them. Arlo smiled and thanked the waiter when he arrived with their appetizer. Arlo took a bit of the food, surprised at the large crunch emitted from his mouth. It didn't taste bad. He sent the waiter away one last time so he'd have time to answer any questions Keilana might have and let her decide what she wanted. While that was happening, Arlo grabbed another bite of the appetizer he'd ordered. This place wasn't actually bad, though the stuffy, fancy pants environment was a little much for him. Maybe he could take himself, Chase, and Ellie here for the boys' 18th birthday. |

Victoria managed to laugh at Chase's comment, although she did still feel bad about tripping over him. "Yes, that must have been it. Not me staring off into this distance." She laughed a little more at that, "I guess at least I tripped over you and not someone that will be mean about it?"
Ash stuck her tongue out at Chase. "Yeah, alright. I did enjoy the grass because laying on a car is hot, and makes us look like stereotypical teens from movies. Although I would be down for looking at some stars on the hood of a car." Although that was even more stereotypical than laying on one in the sun.
"Just Jace, although I consider Jeffrey an honorary sibling. We've been through some tough stuff together." She was joking, of course. Jeffrey was actually 100% her best friend.
Victoria frowned. "Jeffrey?"
"My ferret. He's a cool dude." Ash explained, then looked back to Chase. "Are you going to get off the ground, or just sit there?"

"Yeah, I, uh, try to be a nice guy. There's enough jerks in the world," Chase said with a laugh. It was true. People already had to suffer through other jerks. Why give them one more mean person to deal with? "Plus everyone knows I don't look where I'm walking."
"Yeah we could totally do that sometime instead of destroying your house. I have a feeling Jace would appreciate it," he said, remembering the other boy's comments when he and Ash had pretended to be dating when they ran across him.
"You like Jeffery more than me? Jeffery did not make you an ice cream cake and then sit up all night drinking juice with you," Chase pointed out.
Then he laughed.
"Yeah u guess Jeffery is a pretty cool dude. I wouldn't mind replacing Arlo with him."
"Anyway, are you two new around here!" Chase asked.
Vince nodded. "We just move here. It's a nice little place."

"At least now I know how to find you. Just listen for some guy repeatedly saying 'Sorry' and walking into people." Wow, Victoria really needed to leave and work on her jokes better. Was this how you flirted? She was fairly certain it was not, but here she was trying.
"Put it on the list. We'll have to stick away from sugar if we do that, though. I don't want to wake up somewhere with a sugar hangover in town." Ash's house was bad enough. But the two of them loose in town... it wouldn't end well, that was for sure. The town would be lucky if they could wake up the next morning intact.
"See? That's why. And Jeffrey would have if I had let him. He loves juice!" Ash had never actually given the poor ferret juice, but she imagined he would like it. Who didn't like juice?
"Yeah, we start at Westbrook High School tomorrow." Victoria added.
"Oh, cool. That's where we go!" Ash piped up. "We could totally show you guys around or something. Maybe you'll even have some classes with us."
"That would be nice." Victoria smiled.
((Works for me. XD I'm just kind of trying to feel Victoria out because I am not good at side characters, apparently.))

(I've used Vincent before as a sue character so I kinda got an idea of him. He's just older and more mature in this one)
Chase laughed. "Yeah, look for something like that. Don't just look for a guy that looks like me or you might run into my twin brother and he isn't as warm and friendly," he said. He wasn't trash talking Arlo to these strangers. He was just stating a fact. It just wasn't the most positive fact. "He doesn't bite though. Usually."
"Or we'd wake up in the next town over," Chase said. It wouldn't surprise him if they managed to steal a car and escape this place. That would be a hundred times worse than destroying Ash's house and they'd probably end up arrested.
"Well Jeffrey can't make cake," Chase said, still hung up on that point.
"Anyway...." Vincent said, clearly trying to change the subject from the juice drinking ferret. "Yeah, we're excited to start tomorrow. I'm sure I'll see you around?" he asked, though his eyes were on Ash instead of Chase
Chase frowned. "Of course we'll see you around!" he said, wanting to make fun of the guy as soon as he left. Was he really trying to flirt with a girl he just met?

"Good to know." Victoria made a mental note, not wanting to get bitten by an evil twin. She also made a mental note to find Chase tomorrow and try to get to know him more... especially since it seemed Vincent liked this Ash girl, and Chase would probably be nearby.
"What if we ended up in East Grove? Do you think they'd beat us up?" Although the competition between the two high schools was strong, even Ash knew that she was overreacting. Still. She wouldn't forget that time in elementary cheerleading when one of the East Grove girls had tripped her. Maybe tripping was just a warning.
"Touche. But he can cuddle really well and likes watching The Emperor's New Groove with me when I'm sick." Ash typically didn't leave her bed when she was sick, and neither did Jeffrey. Not that the elderly ferret minded.
"Unless I get kidnapped by aliens, or this guy gets me on another sugar high, I will definitely be there." Ash said, poking Chase in the side when she mentioned the sugar high. "I can show you around a bit, too!"
"That would be nice." Victoria smiled, and then waved good bye. "See ya tomorrow!" Before she walked off with her brother to go do who knows what.

Vincent nodded and walked off after his sister.
"Probably. But then we'd beat them up. We're unstoppable on a sugar high," Chase said. He laughed and waved at Victoria and Vincent. "See you guys tomorrow."
Once they were gone, Chase nodded. "They seemed nice, but I think the Vince guy was kinda staring at you. A bit creepy if you ask me," he said, though he was completely oblivious to the fact that Victoria had been flirting him with him.
"Anyway, maybe we should head to your place and get planning this prank? Like, we really need to get going if we want to have it done by Homecoming. Plus, it's just a bonus that we'all embarass the East Grove kids as well," he said.
"And also when I'm sick I don't do much but frown and sleep.@
Plus Arlo was on the football team so it'd be fun to see his brother covered in pink glitter.
(Sorry it's short I'm seriously unable to concentrate cause these people are so annoying. At least keep your voice down a bit when you're surrounded by people doing homework)
(Ooooj that's how Drake can find out Jordan is from East Grove. Like him and Kris drag her to the homecoming game and all her friends are there. So then everyone learns that Kris is from East Grove and they'd have to keep heir relationship a secret?)

Ash rolled her eyes and patted Chase on the shoulder. "You poor dear... that was called flirting. He thinks I'm attractive. It's not creepy!" It had been obvious to her and although Ash didn't really care too much, she was also interested in getting to know him better. "He was kinda cute, too. But Victoria was totally into you. And you didn't even notice." Ash was pretty good at telling when people were flirting... unlike poor Chase.
"Maybe for a little bit, but then I have some homework I need to finish." Ash had been so busy with the party and then hanging out with Chase that she hadn't had time to do any of her homework... and she kind of needed a good grade.
"I wish Mason hadn't dropped out so we could've seen him in pink glitter, too." She groaned, thinking about how angry the older boy would've been, and then something clicked in her brain and her eyes widened. "Wait! I can't help you ruin the homecoming game!"
((That's okay. XD I don't have much muse at the moment, anyway.))
((I like that idea. o.o Perfect... except Drake is on the football team, so he'd be out on the field. Dx))

"Plus I am so much cuter than him," Chase said, making a duck face. He laughed and looked back up at the sky. "Do you really think she was flirting with me? I mean, she's kinda cute."
"Well, I mean, we could save a handful of glitter and just go throw it on Mason?" Chase asked. He didn't know the other boy at all, but was slightly intimidated by him.
"Why not?" Chase asked. "It was going to make us legends. Remember?" Chase was pumped for whatever prank they pulled that would make them practically famous, but it wouldn't be any fun if Ash wasn't there.
(Well Drake could be all like 'oh you should come see me play' and her and Kris discuss it and decided it'd be fine if Jordan hangs out in the Westbrook stands but then she and Kris could go get food and be confronted by kyle or some of Jordan's friends and Drake was playing not on the bench or something and he can see Jordan talk to them and kinda connects the dots and then they can all talk and stuff after the game?)
(I totally forgot about this and was just chilling with my dog. I'm leaving for my class in about 20 minutes)

"Really?" Ash replied. "Like how I got to know you better before I kissed you?" She waved a dismissive hand at Chase and his silly worries. "I'll be fine." Although she would probably kiss him on the first date, no doubt. That's just kind of how Ash rolled.
"She was definitely flirting with you. Or, at least, trying to. And you were just oblivious." She laughed and sat down next to him, plucking a few pieces of grass and dropping them on his chest. "You should try flirting with her tomorrow and see how it goes."
"I would do that. Mason deserves to be pink." He had stolen her bed one too many times when staying the night. It was time for revenge.
"Because I'm a cheerleader, so I'll be busy cheerleading." Ash loved being a cheerleader but right now, she was just disappointed in it. "You'll have to carry on the legacy without me."
((Works for me! Although knowing Drake, it may take a Jace or a Mason to smack him upside the head and explain the dots to him. XD))

Like we've at least vaguely known each other for a couple years. He's a total stranger," he said, oddly surprised at how uncomfortable Vincent made him feel.
"You think? I can't believe I missed it," Chase said, smiling a bit. He wiped the grass of his chest and picked up a small stone, tossing it up and down. "I'm not good at flirting. What do girls like when you flirt with them?" Chase asked. Ash was a girl. She'd know.
"Great, then ill hide behind you while you throw glitter on him because Mason kind of scares me," he said.
"Tell them you're sick or you broke your ankle or something. Slide the coach $20 and tell her she might not want to be on the field," he suggested.
(Then Mason or Jace can explain it XD But I'm gonna have first she talks to like some friends but then Kyle approaches her and Kris and like cause ya know kyles a jerk)
(Also cute chemistry guy is so adorable. This girl yelled at my friend in class and he got all defensive later and said he wish he spoke up because 'nobody talks to his friends like that' and idk it was super cute ánd like he just wants his friends to be happy)

"Umm..." Ash frowned while she thought about the question. "It varies between girls, I guess. But I think most like compliments, but little compliments, like 'Oh, you look nice today.' I mean, I think." She may have been a girl, but she was not a girl that apparently did a lot of flirting. "And if you invite them to hangout or something. Hold doors open. That chivalrous stuff."
"You're scared of Mason?" She laughed. "That's exactly what he wants. People to be scared of him. Don't worry, I will throw all sorts of glitter at his face."
Ash shook her head. "I can't do that. It's homecoming! And I am definitely going to that dance, and I am definitely not going to try and pay off the coach. I could get suspended!"
