"I know I am. Plus, I've had plenty experience with this kind of stuff, Ash. You're looking at a master of his craft. Maybe tell your dad that you joined photography club and you want to get pictures of the city from the sky? I don't think he'd allow you to use a helicopter to dump glitter on the homecoming game," he said, laughing at how ridiculous the idea sounded.
"Honestly, we could probably find plenty of people willing to do it. Maybe Jack? He likes to take care of everyone so we wouldn't die in his care," Chase pointed out. Jack had actually approached him and Arlo and offered them help in taking care of their sister, but Arlo didn't trust anyone but their babysitter when it came to her.
"Sweet. Cleaning the house is fine in exchange for an awesome sugar high," he said with a laugh.
***
Victor Ross had found himself at the beach with his sister. The two were close and spent their days together like friends would. Today it had been the beach.
"Hey, sis, maybe we should head home now. I've got some homework I need to do and I haven't even started he list of chores Mom gave me," he said with a groan.
He grabbed his towel and stuffed it in his backpack before making his way to the someone lot.
(I'm thinking they like trip over Ash and Chase and that's how they meet. Then like stuff happens and they 'fall in love' then the fun stuff)

"You do," Arlo agreed. He wasn't one to disagree with comments like that. Not only did it help others' confidence, but it was honestly. Arlo was surprised by how many people he had found good looking. Not necessarily romantic, but even a platonic 'wow, you look great' was said to many people by the high schooler. Despite that, he didn't often compliment his self, though he told Chase that he looked good which was basically complimenting himself since the twins were so similar. "That's a good idea. I have reservations at a pretty nice place downtown, so maybe we can park one or two streets over? I'll head over first and you'll follow?" he asked. He maneuvered his car down the road before finding a spot and claiming it as his. He put the car in park and then turned it off. "Thanks. I'm really nervous about losing it, but it was the only one that would work and I wasn't about to go out and buy you a ring," he said with a bit of a laugh. He rubbed the back of his neck after sticking the small box back in his pocket. "Shall we go?" he asked, trying to ignore the butterflies in his stomach. If they were caught - well, that wouldn't be good. He didn't wait for an answer and stepped out of the car, grabbing the bouquet. "See ya inside," he said. He made his way to the restaurant and checked on his reservations. "My girlfriend should be here any moment," he said, watching out the window with the flowers in one hand. "Yeah, that should be good," Keilana agreed. It was incredibly doubtful that anybody would be suspicious of them from a street or two away. It made her feel a bit better about this. She couldn't really tell if Arlo was as nervous as her, but they were already there. It was too late to back out now. "Uh, yeah, I wouldn't expect you to spend that much actual money on me," she giggled. "Actual engagement rings are expensive." She knew that from accompanying her mother to the jewelers a few too many times and getting bored. Her mother had told her to never settle for a ring less than some large number that Keilana hadn't paid attention to. She hadn't really cared then, and she still didn't care now. "We shall," she said, smiling. "I'll see you inside." She watched him leave and waited a few minutes, scrolling idly through her phone to give her something to do. After the short few minutes, she pocketed her phone and headed to the restaurant. Luckily, she didn't get lost. She found Arlo pretty quickly and waved to him as she approached, pasting on a plastic smile that she hoped looked adoring enough. She didn't know how one was supposed to act with a significant other that they wanted to spend their life with. "Hey there," she greeted warmly. (responding)

Arlo had had plenty of girlfriends, but nothing as serious as he was pretending to be with Keilana. When she entered the restaurant, he moved towards her and gave her a warm hug. "How has your day been?" he asked, handing her the flowers and keeping his arm wrapped loosely around her as they approached the counter.
He was actually a decent actor. Maybe he should try that our. After all, he'd been doing it practically all his life.
"I have a reservation for two. Ryan Miller," Arlo said to the guy. He nodded and found the name before leading Arlo and Keilana to their table. Once he handed them menus and explained the specials, he ran off to grab the next customers.
Arlo leaned forward so no one could hear their conversation. "When should we do this? Appetizer? Before? During dinner? Dessert?" he asked, unsure how these proposals went down. He wanted it to be as real as possible so they don't get in trouble.
Arlo stuck his hand in his pocket again, feeling comforted when he felt the little box. He hadn't lost the ring. And he was certain Keilana would be careful after he slipped it on her finger. Once they were out of view from the restaurant of in his car, he'd take it back and put it in the box for safety.
(I just realized Chase and Arlo have one car to share and I've been saying they both drove on their adventures today XD oops)

{Oh welll... Plot holes}
"It's been good," she answered, as though her day hadn't been her laying around and texting Arlo until he got to her house. "What about you?" She fought not to shift uncomfortably, disliking the close contact. She only ever got tactile when she was close to someone, which was really only her friends from home. Arlo was a friend, but they weren't close, so she didn't exactly like having his arm around her.
She followed him and sat down across from him, not really listening when they were told the specials. She never really paid attention to those, and her rather short attention span had her spacing out pretty quickly. She leaned closer to Arlo, enough to not seem suspicious. "I say during dinner as we're finishing up," she answered lowly.
Then she leaned back and looked at the menu, a smile playing on her lips. It was as if they weren't completely planning on cheating out this restaurant. She knew how to play her part. She had spent a long time pretending how to be surprised, how to like someone, and how to do exactly as is expected of her. She could do this, even with people analyzing her every move.

(XD It's all good.
I thought it was your turn on the Jordan/Kris/Drake thing but it's not XD)
"Well, that's great, honey. I just wanted to make sure you were happy," Arlo said, a grin on his face. It looked like he was in love, right? He made conversation, called her a weird name, and was making plenty of eye contact as if he were lost in her eyes.
"Mine's been good. A bit busy, but I wanted to get everything out of the way so I could just relax and have dinner with the woman I love," he said, fiddling with his napkin. This place was way too fancy for him to be comfortable. He'd also spent his day watching many proposal videos.
"That sounds about right," he said, barely noticeable. It seemed like the best time.
"Make I take your order?" a well dressed waiter asked, approaching the table.
Arlo glanced at Keilana, answering for both of them. "We'll take this appetizer," he said, pointing at he picture. It was some long French name he couldn't pronounce, but the description sounded good. "And then we need more time to decide on the entree."
"Of course, sir," the waiter said, writing down their appetizer and walking away.
"Sorry I ordered the appetizer without asking you. I just figured it'd look like we knew what we were doing," he said with a shrug. "Anyway, we should probably pick out our meals. Go for something not super expensive in case we don't get r free," he said, his voice quiet st the end so Keilana was the only one that could hear him.

Keilana mouthed 'honey' behind her menu, trying not to roll her eyes. It was official, she decided. If she ever got a boyfriend, she was making a list of things not to call her. It was too cheesy, and personally she thought he was laying it on a bit thick, but that might have just been her and her aversion to anything too cheesy.
"Aw, that's so sweet," she cooed. "I love you too." The words felt odd on her tongue. She wasn't used to telling anybody she loved them, not even her parents. She said it every once in a while, but not often. They were gone too much, and family nights weren't much of a thing anymore. She didn't let the discomfort show.
"I didn't even know what to get, so I don't mind," she told him with a wave of her hand. She didn't know how to pronounce about half of the things on the menu. This wasn't much her scene. Although, she had been to a few fancy restaurants before. "Yeah, I'll get something cheap-ish."
{I had to rush this because I'm being ushered out the door gahhh}

Although Chase may have been on to something, Ash figured a little bit of problem solving would be good... although this idea probably wouldn't ever work. "Maybe we could get a large fan and just throw glitter into it." "I like how you think. Jack is nice, and he's Jace's friend! There's no way he would turn us down! YouTube stardom, here we come." Ash didn't actually know a lot about Jack, but if Jace liked him, then there couldn't be any way that he was a bad influence and would convince them to dive off the roof into the pool... although that would be fun. "Is it, though? Is it really? Because I don't know about you, but I personally never like cleaning the house. Even in exchange for something... unless it's money, and a lot of it." She may have grown up slightly spoiled. -- Victoria (that's what I named her, right?) nodded her head. "Although I would be fine with just skipping all of that and facing the wrath of not doing chores, or homework... you're probably right." She groaned, walking after her brother. She was focused on, well, a volleyball game going on nearby or something along those lines, and wasn't at all paying attention to where she was going when she tripped over... as she rolled over, sitting up, she realized that she had... yeah, definitely tripped over some guy. ((Really seeing them as creepy twins and starting to creep myself out. XD Yes. Let's do it. Tripping, or should I say, falling into love. =D))

"Kris broke into someone's house?!" To say that Drake was impressed was an understatement. He shook his head, not totally believing any of this. "Wow, and I thought all Kris did was good girl stuff. I didn't think she'd ever gotten into any trouble." She had always just seemed so incredibly perfect, and like such a good girl.
"Fletcher... Kyle... who are these people?" There was some scary cousin mental conversation going on that Drake didn't understand, and had accidentally subjected Mason to. Would they be able to blow up his head? Jeez, he hoped not. He needed Mason for a little bit longer. "And what do they have to do with my brother? Are they guys that he got into fights with? Or stole their girlfriends? Or both?" Maybe he should stop talking.
"I'll probably just go to the laser maze with you all and then head out on my own. I've got cool kid things to do." He would have put on sunglasses now, but he did not have any. Mason had lectured him and told him that sunglasses were an unnecessary expense.

"We add the glitter afterwards. Or I bring a couple buckets of glitter and stash them on the helicopter, then we manually dump them over everyone. It works if you think about it," Chase said. He stared up at the sky, finding shapes in the clouds like he used to do with Arlo and his grandma.
"Sweet. Do you think Jace would ask Jack for us? I don't really know him that well. Just that he considers everyone his little siblings," Chase said.
"Well i was always expected to pitch in with everything growing up. Now that we live mostly on our own, Arlo and I do everything, so I'm pretty used to cleaning."
Chase was about to say more when someone kicked him in the side. He grunted and looked over at the offender with a groan.
"Sorry, bud. My sister's not paying attention," Vincent said, glancing between Victoria and the boy he kicked. He smiled at the girl next to the boy.
"I'm Chase. This is Ash," Chase said, sitting up. He shielded his eyes against the sun.
"I'm Vincent and this is my sister, Victoria. Feel free to call me Vince," Vincent said. "Why are you two laying in the grass?"
(How'd you two meet?
Oh I was laying in the grass with this other girl and she came over and stepped on me XD)

"It was my idea," Jordan said. "Kris didn't want to but she didn't want me to go alone. Isn't she the best?" she asked. Jordan would hug Kris if they weren't separated by the table and the child in Jordan's arms.
"Well Fletcher was a guy that Kris knew. Apparently comparable to Mason. Kyle is a jerk who shouldn't be mentioned because he's a terrible person and I should've realized it sooner," Jordan explained, tensing up a bit at the mention of Kyle. She didn't want to talk about him, but Drake deserved a bit of an explanation, didn't he?
"And they don't have anything to do with you brother. Kris is just describing him to me by comparing him to other guys. You don't want to be a Kyle. Fletcher isn't too bad and James is amazing," she said. There were other guys on the list, but those were the only ones they'd mentioned in front of Drake.
"Well, let's get going to the laser maze. Kris, you know I don't like just sitting around even if food is involved," she said, glancing at her cousin. Plus, if he was distracted by lasers, Drake wouldn't ask any more questions about Kyle.

"Okay, that works. We could hide it in backpacks or in the cameras like super secret ninjas." Ash laughed. It sounded ludicrous, and she was sure it would never happen, but it was fun to talk about this kind of crazy idea with Chase.
Now, Ash would have continued her conversation with Chase when all of a sudden, another girl came out of nowhere and tripped over Chase, almost landing on her as well. She sat up, looking at the girl. "Are you okay?" She asked. Well, this was one way to meet someone.
"There was a really intense game of volleyball." Victoria grumbled as she stood up, smiling at Ash. "I'm okay. Thanks." Well, this was uncomfortable. She shyly smiled at Chase. "Oh, uh, sorry... I really didn't mean to..."
"Well, Vince, we are laying in the grass because why the heck not? It was this or a car and Chase picked the grass." She shrugged and smiled at him. "What are you out here?" She asked and stood up, feeling a little bit uncomfortable about sitting when talking to people that were standing.

"He deserved to have his house broken into," Kris said haughtily. "You don't even know, Drake." She may have been exaggerating a bit, but whatever. It wasn't that she was only into doing "good girl stuff" as Drake put it; it was mostly just that she didn't care to do anything else. It was only when she was with her family, namely Jordan, that she went out and did dangerous things.
"Oh, it's just a scale," she told him, snickering at his confusion. "It's like, on this scale, is this guy perfect or is he someone you don't want to get involved with. Your brother is a lot like this one guy we know who's like, bad news but not enough to warrant avoiding at all costs. I tried to stab that guy with a high heel once." She only added that last part to get a reaction, though it was true.
"'Cool kid,'" Kris snorted, rolling her eyes. "Sure you do, sweetie. Do you need sunglasses to go with that lie?" She did actually have sunglasses in her small purse that she had brought along. Honestly, she didn't know what Drake got up to in his free time, but it was probably not something she wanted to get involved in.

((Hello, Aurora! =3))
"Okay, do not mess with Kris or Jordan." Drake looked at both of the girls, making a mental note to always try to be on their good side. The last thing they needed was their apartment being broken into by some crazy cousins, bent on revenge because Drake had gone and done whatever it was that this other dude had done.
"Alright, I see. I get it." He nodded his head in complete understanding. "Guys have the exact same kind of scale for women, based on several very important factors." Alright, so maybe Drake was a being a little bit over dramatic. Sure, Mason had taught Drake about The Scale, but it really didn't have a lot of important factors.
"Why actually yes, I do. Sunglasses will show you just how cool I can be. Even if they are pink or have unicorns on them." Drake had pulled off both in his lifetime, because why the heck not? He stood up, laughing at Jordan's eagerness... and the fact that he was the same way. "Alright, let's go!"

"Yeah, don't mess with either of us. If you mess with one of us, you mess with both of us," she said, serious for a moment. It was true. That's why Kris dislikes Kyle so much. Not just because he was a bad person but because he had messed with Jordan.
"I will say our scale has nothing to do with looks," Jordan said. Despite Kyle's obvious flaws, he was good looking. Even she and Kris could t argue with that. He was tall and athletic with blonde hair, light blue eyes, and an almost angelic looking face. He appeared to be the perfect all American boy. If only his personality was as beautiful as his face. "I'm not sure what your scale is based off of, but a lot of deliberation goes into a guy before we place him on the scale," she explained.
"I have normal sunglasses if you don't want to deal with Kris' girly stuff," Hordan teased her cousin even though she had no idea what the other girl's sunglasses looked like.
She stood up, smiling at Drake. "You get me," she said, glad somebody had been just as excited as her to go and do something. Jordan could only sit and talk for so long.
