Pearcloud noticed her leader approaching her out of the corner of her gaze and quickly stood up. “Ready for dawn patrol?” Oakstar asked, nodding his head to the small group that was forming with Cedarwing and his sisters. Pearcloud blinked and nodded. “Oh of course.” She meowed. The leader turned and began to pad over to the camp entrance, catching a small glimpse of Linchenpaw as he passed by. “Good catch.” He commented as he noticed the squirrel he had caught. Oakstar then flickered his gaze over to Cedarwing as he approached with the rest of the patrol. “Ready?” (Here ya go c: ) |

"Oh, hello Ashlight. How is your day going so far?" Fernwhisker stretched on the tree, and then sat back down on the rock. "For me, my day is going quite well. I have been mostly relaxing. If you want, you could go hunting with me." she meowed.

"Alright. How about we head over to the Streaming Forest? We can find some good prey over there." Fernwhisker asked. "We can also search for something for Stormkit and Owlkit to play with." she said, licking her striped fur.

The three siblings where all on their feet now, and paused in their walking towards Oakstar as the leader neared them. "As ever." Primrosewillow said brightly, a smile on her face. "I always love going on dawn patrols, as you know."
Softspeck merely listened quietly, her tail swaying back in forth as he glanced shyly between the patrol cats. Cedarwing grinned and hurried to stand beside his leader and friend. "Alright, shall we go then everyone?"

(sorry for slightly late replies, i'm multitasking lol)
"Well, there are lots of things that kits find interesting. There are moss balls, which you make by gathering lots of moss and shaping it into a ball." Fernwhisker meowed. "Sometimes the simplest things can amuse a kit, like a twig or leaves, like you said." Fernwhisker continued to walk with Ashlight to the forest.

(You can join the patrol if you’d like c: ) Oakstar smiled at the group and nodded to Primrosewillow. “Yes let’s go. “ He meowed to his deputy with a nod. “You can lead this one Cedarwing. I’ll take up the back.” Oakstar moved to stand aside so the other cats could leave camp first. He noticed Cloudwing and waved his tail to the warrior. “Cloudwing, would you like to join us for patrol?” he asked. Pearcloud fell in with the other cats on the patrol. Like Softspeck, she kept quiet and to herself. (No worries  ) Ashlight walked along out into the forest. He swayed his tail in thought. “I suppose we could keep an eye for some moss then... If we catch a bird maybe the kits will like some feathers?” He offered as a suggestion. Ashlight shrugged his shoulders with uncertainty. |

"That sounds like a good idea." Fernwhisker replied. She gazed at the stream and trees ahead of her. "Looks like we're here. Time to start hunting. Should we split up and meet back here when we are done hunting, or should we go together?" she asked.

Silverpaw flopped on her nest. She sighed, bored already. Her eyes misted, and she started silently sobbing. What if my eye never heals?

Fernwhisker nodded. "Okay. See you." She headed off in the opposite direction. Suddenly, she saw something moving in the bushes. She froze and focused on the bush, moving very slightly every second. A gray mouse slowly came out, and Fernwhisker dropped into a hunting crouch. She waited for the right moment, and then pounced on the mouse, biting its neck. "Another good catch." she said to herself, burying her prey so she could come back once she was done.

Silverpaw tensed, keeping her stabbed eye away from his sight line. She relaxed her muscles slightly..

Fernwhisker padded over to the same area where Ashlight and her started to hunt. She was very successful in hunting, as she had caught a mouse, a small bird and a squirrel. She brought all of her prey to the beginning of the forest and waited for Ashlight to appear.

"Okay, let's get back to camp. If it's too much to carry, then we can bury our prey here and come back with it." Fernwhisker meowed. Fernwhisker buried the squirrel she caught. She picked up the small bird and the mouse in her jaws and started walking towards camp.
