For a moment the type of her tail twitched, she was considering saying no. She had a huge amount of pride, but right now food was more important then that. Cherryfrost looked at him and dipped her head, she then bit into the mouse. Within a few heartbeats the mouse was gone and she was purring happily. "That really hit the spot. " she said happily

Ashlight watched her attempt the hunting crouch. “You’re still learning. It looks like it’s mainly just your balance that needs work.” He observed. He dropped down into a hunter crouch to demonstrate. “You need to make sure your paws have equal distribution. If you put too much on weight on your front paws you’ll tip over, if you put too much on your back you’ll fall on your side.” Ashlight stood up and nodded to Silverpaw. “Go ahead and try again.”

Ashlight looked over her form and shook his head. “You’ll fall before you’re ever able to catch prey.” He said with a soft sigh. “Take less weight off your left side.” he instructed, lightly tapping her side with his paw.

Ashlight paused for a moment and took a step back to eye her form. “Better. You’ll just have to keep practicing.” He meowed bluntly. ”Go ahead and try to move stalk forward now. It’ll give you a better sense of how your balance is coming along.”

The queen nodded as she groomed her fur a bit, she couldn't really get most of her fur since is was, "apprentices are great. They are so young and full of energy." She purred softly.

"Yep. Especially Ravenpaw." Shadedfur purred. "Ravenpaw is almost always pumped for training."



Silverpaw crept forward, scenting finch. She waited until abut three tail-lengths away and pounced, not opening her eyes until he was upon it. "Did I get it?" she asked.

"Definitely. As long as the cat has proper training, any at can be a great warrior! They just need to try!" Shadedfur insisted. "If you want to see a bad warrior, look at the lazy warriors who never train!"

"Oh." Silverpaw mewed. "Sorry. I just like surprises." She pawed at the dust.

Shadedfur purred. "I can help out too, if that's okay with you." he mewed.

“That’s fine and all but surprises won’t feed the clan.” Ashlight reminded her. “We’ll have to do some more work with your hunting skills.” He looked around the forest floor and grabbed a small twig near by. He placed it a few tail lengths away from Silverpaw and sat down. “Alright, let’s try your stalking again. And remember, just pouncing on it won’t be enough. You need to bite the throat to kill the prey."

(Of course you guys can! I think that leaves one kit and if no one claims them I'll rp them )

Cherryfrost smiled a bit, "That'd be nice, I'm going to need all the help I can get. If they are going to be anything like me I'm going to need the whole clans help!" The queen laughed, she had been a pawful, her sister on the other paw had been the best kit ever. Quiet, listened never tried to leave camp and what not. "I'll have to keep a sharp eye on them."

Ashlight watched her and twitched his tail tip as he tried to think of a way to help. “If it helps, try practicing your pounces for now. Figure out how to control how much power you need to put into them. Start with jumping at full power and then lessen it as you go.” He instructed.

Ashlight gave a nod of approval. “There you go! You’re getting it.” He encouraged. He got up to his paws and glanced around. “Let’s head back to camp for now. You’ve done good for today.” He said, partially worried she might have hurt herself on the twig.

Silveraw nodded. "I think I got stabbed in the eye." she mewed, rubbing her eye with her paw. She tried t keep up with her mentor.
