"Celesta, I will never reach the endless flattering of which you truly deserve!" He quickly defended, similar to how a child would when suddenly out bursting. "With everything you have done in such a short time, and everything you have put towards this united front; I will never ever be able to show you how much I appreciate you and the respect you deserve for all you have committed." His gaze softened; just having this conversation with Celesta eased him very well. "If you need assistance with the tending to the bodies-please do ask. Do not hesitate, for I do not wish to see you overworking yourself while you heal." His softened gazed, "I respect the cultures of your home, but still-you are hurt and I do not wish-no" He corrected himself. "I cannot bare to see you overworking yourself in your still healing state." He fell silent for a brief moment, "W-Well I wouldn't say they were the same person..." his voice shifted towards hesitation. "Siblings carry similarities, perhaps I am just seeing Vincent through certain actions in his brother. The only difference between the two has to do with their interactions." He crossed his arms, yet grabbed his edlbows lightly. "Rowlin is willing to interact on a day to day basis, he's willing too. Vincent was very distant from the others, he would interact when needed. Spending hours writing in his quarters, from time after time forgetting to sleep and eat; had I not been assigned to his aid, he perhaps might have killed himself through his lack of senses." He released a heavy sigh. "I met Rowlin only after Vincent's death; it was almost a baffle to have at a distance glance assume that the dead has come to life, but as it appears it was just his younger brother. Despite only meeting Rowlin after his brother's death; I just see bits on Vincent in him. It is natural in family to carry characterisitcs , but still-just that tone in handle before hand. It brought shivers and nearly reminded me of Vincent." He shifted his head up for another deep breath, "Blood is blood at the end of the day. Similarities are to be expected, I am certain that you are right. Grayson and Rowluin must be getting along; I should be thinking positively, especially now." He leaned towards Celesta, "Now Now, Celesta. I assure you that everything will turn out for the best. I-I understand your frustrations, and wishes, as does so many whom haver been stripped of their happiness. The Hakuryu family as a whole were truly inspiriations to many of us across their rule. And in due time against the saddest, and most reched of times; the sun will rise and rise in our favor. We will stand, and watch those whom we fight for run out for joy rather then fear. It will happen, but it just takes time." featherleg

A dark crimson spread across her cheeks as her hand rubbed the back of her neck. "I just...don't want to be put on a pedestal. My people never did but...I just don't want anyone, especially you, to think I'm some immortal goddess. I worked hard and continue to do so, but I'm just as mortal as everyone in our units. I do appreciate your understanding though of what I am. Most--and forgive the term--foreigners don't think to kindly to Magic Borne. They think of us as abnormal and try to use us as pawns. Luckily my people have avoided capture for years, but we fought endlessly to do so." She nodded her head as her hand reached out and entwined itself with his. "I won't push myself too far Derrick. You can be there the whole time if you'd like, I just need to make sure it's done properly. Urian and Leila already promised they'd help once the bodies were buried. They're...quite eager to help for some reason." Her siblings could be rather tricky at points as they knew how to by pass things Celestia would often keep aware of. "I understand that, but it's not just you who speaks about Rowlin and Vincent in this way. Grayson and others have brought up as well. I've never dealt with something like this before, but this seems like whatever happened was magic based and isn't normal by any means. I went through as many scrolls and books that I have to find any comparisons, but there was nothing of the sort." "I know, it's just," She leaned against him, letting her head rest on his shoulder,"I don't want my siblings to become what I have." Auransky

Derrick's face lit up at the thought, "N-No No I don't want to idolize you either!" He blurted out like a child whom had made a crucial mistake. "I wish to treat you as my friend, an ally and a well deserving representative of your people." His eyes shifted from side to side without much thought, "I-I just see you as soeone special is all, not as a goddess but to me-" He paused momentary. "To me as that one whom completes me." He softly stated. Regaining a thought he glanced back at Celesta. "Perhaps if I hadn't involved myself with so many secrets I too may have been more at a loss." He admitted. "If it had not been for this blessing or a curse or whichever it may appear; then I perhaps would not be here speaking so openly with you. As you would with myself-you may have been in here resting alone in silence-and silence just wont do." He couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, "Aye-I can see mischief approaching. But good mischief in even the darkest of time is most appreciated." He lightly spoke. He rested his hands on his lap now, lightly tapping with his fingers from time to time. "Grayson idolized Vincent-yet he despises Rowlin. Huh-I wonder if Rowlin told him if they were related. That would be an interesting turn of events. It may explain this mornings connection-or Grayson sees too much Vincent in him and assumes he wants to be a lookalike of sorts?" He raised a questionable brow only to shake his head. "A lot of possibilities-but maybe talking to Rowlin direcrtly with all our questions may help." He paused again, "You mentioned auras....do you think it is possible for siblings to natrually have the same aura, or similar auras because they are family? Just if you think-it is possible. I am not too familiar with aura's but if it is similar to a soul of a person it may give us an image for some answers. And-the journals vincent wrote in-Rowlin has some of them, and we still need to collect the others." He considered then stopped himself. "This has suddenly turned into an unhealthy discussion." He let out a hefty sigh, :"But then again this is war right? Knowledge is power and in this case we are dealing with a potential heart seeker whom lacks memories and has to strangest relation to a sibling whom distanced himself from reality itself." featherleg

mintedstar/fur🦇 "Oh dear- that can be quite dangerous. Especially in a compact city; where everything is clumped together. I've seen a few resturants, and houses burn down due to minor issues; some in big cities others in smaller villages. The stakes are both high, but-unlike compact cities; you have somewhat space to contain the issue. Before is spreads of course." He freely waved a hand. "Newgrange is rather exciting, isn't it not? Took pictures, and video the last time I went; and I do hope to take more photos during different times of the day the next time I get the chance to visit." He nodded calmly at the thought. "W-Well..." He glimpsed slightly away for a brief moment, "I must take the time to thank you for your time." His tone softened, "It isn't everyday that people enthusiastic for geography or landmarks-to say in the least come up. Most people are into games, or while they do wish to see something in the world; it appears very limited when compared to an overall experience." He soon relaxed back into the chair, "So I thank you for your most precious time; it is something most calming and well. Something different then the usual, of encounters. Truly I hope to have a peaceful conversation like this soon; perhaps after grading, or evaluating of the sorts." He lightly laughed. (Wow, interesting avatar. Whose it of?) "Agreed. It is very dangerous. I ended up pulling a girl out of the flames." He frowned down a little at his tattered sleeve. He only grinned again once Rowlin mentioned taking photos of Newgrange. The last time he had ever been there the camera hadn't even been invented yet. He had no pictures to commemorate the visit. He leaned his head against his arm. "You need not thank me for my time. I've gained a lot of entertainment and enjoyment from it." He had been waiting for an opening of this sort for a while. "Are you a teacher?" he asked.

mintedstar/fur🦇 ((It's Victor from Yuri on Ice. )) Rowlin grinned back, this was music to his ears. For someone not in the classroom, or his area of profession to actually want to listen. It was a fantastic feeling; a glorious one too. "I'm glad to have the opportunity to provide such entertainment." His green eyes lit up at the thought. With the question at hand he couldn't help but nod right away, perhaps a little too quickly from a few strands of his red hair, to fall out of place. "Aye-I been teaching for a few years, in Europe mainly. Got my degree at 21 which sounds insane, but it is possible when you drive yourself to insanity. Started off at the high school level, then bounced down to a middle school level for a year to fill in. Over the summers and some winter courses, was asked to teach at some of the local universities. Those in particular are shorter then the usual courses, so I gladly agreed!" He paused to search through his messenger bag, for his tablet. Upon taking it out, he held it out unlocking the screen to reveal a spread sheet. "I came out here as a part of a transfer program. One teacher will go out there, and I myself will be out here." He softly admitted before his voice picked up momentum once more. "but as this spread sheet demonstrates, I am currently wrapping up a semester of an online course back home. Auransky(Gotcha! I was just thinking it would be an interesting arc to have an actual stable family within everything plus the whole running gag of Derrick saying he sounds like a father just cracks me up. Does two sons--high school and middle school age--and a daughter--elementary age--sound okay to you? If so I'll leave the names to you if that's alright.) Since the school she worked at had been released early for the day due to some strange events, Celestia found herself back at her home that was in the suburb outskirts towards the south of the city. While most of the other teachers seemed stressed about the sudden schedule change, she was rather relieved it had happened. Three to four hours of free time on a week day was rare with how her life had turned out. Between the on going calls she received from her siblings about how their college life was and the stack of tests and assignments she had to grade--plus the late night study sessions she had found herself in with Urian and Leila--she couldn't be happier to be home. Dropping her traveler bag on one of the love seats in the living room, she fell back into the couch and let out a sigh of relief. (Figured I add some present backstory there ^^ )

featherleg((How about Damian , Kai and Viola or Violet? )) Derrick was on his day off; despite it being his physical day off from working on the squad he was busy at home assuring that everything was in tip top shape. He went from room to room assuring that each power socket was in well standing order; in his experience as a fireman he had seen homes burn down from the craziest of reasons. Assuring that his family was in well health while he was on duty was his first and foremost priority. Unlike other professions, the police and fire squad always had their days shifted for work. Police officers would have three days off then three days work. Firemen had it similar with about three to four days varying on the times of year based on fire season. At one point he considered joining the police force, but after experiencing war and battles of brutality he wished to steer clear of it. At one point he considered being a chief, and while telling people what to do and organizing was fun; being in the same place bored him soon. After much thought he considered the fire squad which required a lot of moving around like police officers, but it also did not deal with much of the dark side of brutality. He made his way for the kitchen to check on the timer sitting on the island. "10 more minutes." He softly sighed before moving into the next room to assure the power sockets were in check. He couldn't help but think of a position he was offered during the last few days he was working. It was something recent in his mind, and perhaps the main thing flooding his mind. Yet not something he really needed for a promotion.

Auransky(Oh great names! We can go with Viola ^^ ) Celestia checked her hand watched, taking note that Damian and Kai would need to be picked up at 4 while Viola would be out of school in an hour. I finally get to pick her up for once. Due to their scheduling, Derrick usually picked their daughter up from school while Celestia picked the sons up. They decided it was best to send them to the other public school to avoid the potential of mockery or bullying due to her career, and for the most part it worked out. It also helped to avoid awkward glances from her co-workers as both her and Derrick still appeared to be rather youthful in comparison to other parents who had children in high school, and while they were involved in their after school actives just as much anyone else, they tended to keep their distance from other mothers and fathers. There was also the uncertainty if any one of them had magic passed down to them, and since none of them had shown signs of it yet, Derrick and Celestia agreed to keep them in public school until college. Wait...Derrick should be home.. Pushing herself off the couch, she walked around the house until she found in the kids playroom, fixing and checking the power sockets that aligned the wall. She leaned her body against the frame of the doorway before calling out to him. "Are the sockets bothering you again?"

featherleg (Preference on who you want to play out of the three?) Derrick being in his day off wore loose faded blue pants, with a basic plain grey short sleeve shot. He didn't care about matching seeing as it was his home. He was at a calm before bearing Celesta's voice. Turning his head quickly he twitched a little. "Yy-your home early!" He blinked at the thought. "O-Or did I miss the clock?" He now questioned himself, checking his own wristwatch. Seeing the time he let out a relief. "I just have to be sure. With weather the sockets tend to loosen every now and then. This is how fires start as of late. With technology at its finest, it's more common." He paused now thinking about why she was home. "Are you alright? Injured, sick, send you home?" He now rose with questions. "O-or.." He crossed his arms, "did you fight a parent on the importance of parenting?" He raised a joking tone. If course she wouldn't do that, it would be risking her career and licence to teach

Auransky(I can rp Viola and Kai if you want to take Daimian) She laughed as she shook her head at all the possible scenarios he had given her. "Everyone was released early due to event that happened yesterday that somehow carried over to today. I wasn't involved so I don't have much of an idea of what it was, but from what my boss told me it was a turf war that escalated to property damage. None of my students were a part of it so it's not too much of a concern to me." For the most part, she kept herself out of issues like these. Her attention was kept on her students mainly and keeping them on the right track. "Trust me, I don't need to lecture any of my students parents. They're good kids and they all do their best in my class." Her eyes wandered around the room before meeting his. "Well, you're the expert on this stuff. Wish Daimian could help you with your inspections though. That reminds me, Viola needs to be picked up soon. Why don't we pick her up together?"

Derrick nodded slowly as he listened to her. "I see-well It's a relief to see you well as well as your students. But still, the fact that it happened at your work place is still concerning." He tilted his head a little. "But still good to see that no harm was inflicted today." His gaze softened with a light laugh, "Of course they do. You encourage them endlessly to do their best!" His gaze met with hers his expression shifting to a more shady like appearance. "Well.." He considered. "I still have a few rooms left, so I can drag Damien with me if you'd like. That would give me time to finish tonights meal in the kitchen and a few other things needing to get done." He smiled once more. "We surely can go pick her up together! You can drive-or wait wait wait!" He snapped his fingers. "I'll drive, and you hide! Hide in the back seat then pop up and surprise her! It will surely bring her pleasure to see you!" His tone was uplifted with excitement.

Auransky(Damian would probably be sixteen, Kai twelve, and Viola eight) "I know the fact that it happened is an issue, but I don't have much to contribute towards it. I'm not familiar with those who were in the turf war. Most of the sports coaches said they would handle it." She nodded in agreement as she placed her hands in her denim pockets. Her cheeks darkened with a slight pink as she smiled at him. "It's the most I can do before they all go to college. I only hope I can cover enough for them to not stay up studying for tests and labs that they'll be required to do." Every year the local colleges would send her their credentials that students entering would need to meet, and each year the difficulty increased. "I'm sure if you brought it up to him, he would gladly assist you." She giggled to herself, seeing him so excited always brought warmth to her heart. "Sounds like a plan darling. Do you want to leave now to avoid traffic or do you want to finish your inspection on the house?"

featherleg ((That works!)) Derrick nodded, "Therefore I'm very well glad to see that you weren't involved, or that your students weren't. It's always an uneasy feeling when you find out it is." He smiled back with a thumbs up, "YOu are doing the best you can to help them up!" He agreed. "From there they need to do their part to assist greatly. Now granted sometimes teachers get flakers, but you do what you can and that's what is most important." He approached Celesta, walking right up to her, then bent slightly down to kiss her on the cheek. "We can leave now, that way we assure ourselves a decent place before the line of nightmares arrives." He winked in a childish manor. "As important as our safety is, I am certain everything is fine." He assured then lightly tapped her on the shoulder. "I'll go get my keys then meet you outside."

AuranskyCelestia's eyes fluttered as he kissed her, and as he backed she felt the color of her cheeks deepen to a dark pink hue. "R-Right." She stammered back as she tried to bring herself back into focus. Sure, they had been married for years, but just being in his presence made her feel butterflies regardless. "If you say so Darling." Seeing as though he had not stepped away yet, she stood on her tip toes and quickly kissed him before stepping back with a smirk spread across her lips. "See you outside then." She said before leaving the room and making her way to driveway.

featherlegHe wanted to laugh a litle seeing the expression change on her face, but he kept a rather stable firm expression as the two continued their exchange of glances. It was when she approached him to kiss, that he blinked once more keeping silent. He unconsciously stopped breathing, yet he waved back as she walked out of the room. It was when she was out of the room that he turned around and let out a long puff of air. "Right-Keys.." He shook his head now rushing out of the room for the counter in the kitchen. He had left them there earlier for whatever reason. Stopping in the kitchen he approached the stove and shut off everything then discontinued the timer. "It was ready either way-" He softly told himself, assuring that everything was off. Now secured he made his way for the counter snatching his keys. He double paced his way towards the main door, clicking on the remote at a distance to unlock the car for Celestia. Once he reached the front door he stopped to turn and lock it before approaching the driveway himself. She will be surprised alright!

Auransky(They're such dorks I love them) Adjusting her coat, Celestia waited outside next to their car while taking a moment to just look at the house. Unlike the others that were in the neighborhood, theirs was designed and constructed by them. Originally they had moved out here during the early days of the VDA when it was much more of an accepting organization towards vampires, and while they still treated magic borne properly, living on the outskirts just worked better for them. Knowing she had a home as large and cozy as the one they built made her feel happy and secure, probably more so since they had Daimian and then Kai and Viola. While the house was modern, she had made sure to put designs in certain rooms to pay homage to her roots. When Urian and Leila first visited they were overwhelmed with excitement to see the work they had done. Too bad Daimian is the only one who knows about all the glyphs... She thought as she sighed.

featherleg"Door is open!" Derrick called out rather confused for a moment to see her standing out there gazing at the house. To him it didn't appear like she was gazing at the house, it was more like she was looking at something that had gotten on the roof. He couldn't help but turn to face the house, once he was next to the car. His eyes skimmed the top of the house, as he wondered what on earth captivated her attention. Was it a bird, a squirl, or did a ball get stuck up there? Whatever it was, it must not be too dangerous if no damage was being done. He glanced over at her then shrugged it off before getting into the car himself. Probably just a glimpse into the sky? I mean-It is a nice day. Sky watching is good and nice, when nothing else is itching your back..

Still, he was very impressed. "That's a set-up that I've never seen before. But it certainly would be interesting. Unfortunately, my job consists of a used car lot. I could do better in other towns, but jobs don't seen so plentiful for outsiders as they were when I used to live here." He would never have explained that he was trying to keep a low profile. Auransky"Was just waiting on you is all." She said as she came out of her daze and got into the shotgun seat of the car. It would be awhile before they got to Viola's elementary school so there was no need for her to get in the backseat yet. "I got a call from Urian earlier today. He said he'd like to stop by the house to work on some assignments he has for Biochemistry. Apparently his roommates have been taking over his side of the dorm again and he can't concentrate because of it." While her younger brother was a kind and smart kid, he wasn't one to push boundaries or assert himself in situations like these, not unless Leila was there to back him up. Unfortunately, the twins lived on opposite sides of the campus so they didn't see each other as much as they'd like to.

Some high schools are incorperating it too as a means of home school, or for students who need to make up classes they failed the first time. Alongside online classes their is blended learning where your course is mainly done online with a few lectures consisting on campus." He explained most calmly. Rowlin leaned back with a calm gaze, "Outsiders not welcome huh?" He considered. "Then I'll stick out like a sore thumb for a few weeks, wont I?" He couldn't help but laugh. "It's different in EU, then it is out here, a unique difference especially in mobility. A car salesmen back home would do better as a mechanic seeing as we rely more on public transit rather then personal transit. Sure people own cars, but 10 dollars the gallon, pft-no thanks. I'd rather take the train." featherleg Derrick tilted his head as he turned on the car, "Waiting for me? You need not wait for this slow poke." He taunted lightly. "If anything you should be speeding up, that way I am forced to keep up." He waved lightly as though scolding, but all in good faith. "As always, he is more then welcome to stop by." Derrick encouraged. "Mi Casa es Tu Casa, as to state that family is always more then welcome. Especially when it comes to studying." He couldn't help but tap the wheel as he waited for the engine to heat up, "I remember studying for my environmental science degree-" He tisked a little at the thought. "Nothing in comparison to biochem but still-sometimes people just snapped and for small periods of time would do exactly what you wish they wouldn't do. It's distracting in all honesty." He nodded once more, "Yes do let him know he is welcome. With that in mind will he come to us, or should we go pick him up?" He pulled down on the parking break, then shifted the car to reverse in order to back out of the driveway.

AuranskyCelestia rolled her eyes as she chuckled. "I can't really speed along if you're the one with the keys, right? Besides, I'll always wait for you Derrick." She nodded as she adjusted her seat belt on her. "I know, but he doesn't like to intrude now that he's finally learning how to control his powers. He gets nervous around the kids, especially Viola. Doesn't want to expose them to anything he can't understand." It was a bit saddening really when it came to her families current history with magic. Since none of her children seemed to posse enough core strength in magic by any means, that meant keeping them away from it for as long as possible. Daimian was the only one out of the three who knew anything about it, but only by accident when he found his mothers blade glowing in her office one night. Ever since Celestia was unsure if she needed to speak to Kai and Viola about their roots in magic. It was a rather...sensitive topic, more so than before. "He'll head over on his own. Said he'll come by an hour before dinner." There was a brief silence before she spoke up. "Derrick...do you think any of them have magic in their veins? I know we've discussed it before but...a part of me still hopes they do..."

"I think you can speed." Derricks snorted, "You just start running as far as you can go, then when I eventually reach you, you jump in with a cool movie Montague in the background. It'll be like mission impossible, then to tap the icing you put on your sunglasses like a pro." Derricks couldn't help but quietly nod, he was not too familiar with magic in context of it being apart of one's life, but he was aware of the troubles, and burdens it may carry based on the people Celesta has hoped over the years. Just watching the individuals struggle within themselves whether they be magic born or anything of the unnatural carried burdens in themselves. "Hmm, intruding... I mean if he came in through the chimney at three in the morning then I surely would call that in an intrusion." He lightly laughed in hopes of lighting up her rather serious mood. Yet his attention soon returned to everything up ahead, "well-i respect his worries, but no matter how many times I assure him not to worry, he will most certainly worry." He released a low sigh. "Well if he's coming before dinner, then he Wil gladly gobble up some Italian nutrition before studying." He stopped at a signal, her silence made the moment a bit more eary then usual. He turned to face her directly as he waited. "W-Well..." He swallowed a little at the question. This question was not something to take lightly, he knew that on the inside she wanted it to be true. Part of him wanted it to be true as well, but the way things were turning out it wasn't appearing to turn out in favor. He hesitated for a moment, he didn't want to upset her but he also didn't want to leave her hanging on the answer. "They may , but there is also the possibility that they may not." He softly spoke. Seeing the signal turn, he lightly pressed his foot on the gear. "Perhaps with these times of tranquility, there is no need nor desire for such abilities. A lot of correlation to these situations connect to life threatening issues, or-beong exposed to it as a part of life. Maybe they have a connection, but have no need to use it. Or -they may just never had it in the first place." He glimpsed at the rear view mirror. "I'm not saying that it is exactly why! But, it can also be that they may not be exposed to it on a daily basis to even expand on that root." He shifted his gaze to the side mirror, "everything starts off as a seed, and needs guidance to grow. Without water and light a seed never takes off. " He fell silent to focus on the road. it could also be my fault.....I could be that cause stopping your hopes. he thought to himself. featherleg

Auransky"I mean, I could, but I think our neighbors would be rather startled by it." She had done something rather similar years ago when her and a few people were standing on an icy cliff that started collapsing and they all had to phase jump into a caravan across, which lead to major bruising for awhile. "He means well, I think he's just trying to keep whatever distance he can as to not hurt anyone. Same goes with Leila." She pulled her phone out of her jacket pocket and quickly texted Urian, letting him know it was alright to head over and what time to do so. "Urian loves your cooking, I'm sure he's looking forward to it." Celestia looked over towards him as he spoke, nodding from time to time as she tried to find a response. "Even in peace, there were people born with magic. Maybe you're right though. I've kept my powers hidden for so long that, perhaps, they haven't had the chance to use theirs purely based on exposure. Still.....I'd rather they come to us if they happen to be magic borne. I wouldn't want to force them into something they have no idea about."

"Not in large quantities." Derricks glimpsed away momentarily. "Just small simple stuff." He tried to support his comment, but he couldn't think of little things. He wasn't a magic user, so magic was never a big part in his daily life. "Lifting , carrying, watering, small stuff!" He tried to back his statement, yet knew he was failing miserably. "He alwyas means well that boy indeed." Derricks voice picked up momentum , at the Topix moving along. He slowed the his speed seeing the sign indicate the school ahead, "Aye, but children are children at the end of the day. They won't always tell us their troubles because they assume we wouldn't understand or haven't been through their troubles. I respect that they will come to us, but we must continue to assure them that we will always be there with open arms to listen to their troubles." He paused for a moment , "and if they never come to that point, we will continue to love them all the same. With or without magic, they are out little bundles of joy, and for that we must appreciate them to the fullest. For all we know, they may not carry a similar life span like that of hours, it may be longer or shorter. For that we just not fret on the little things and instead focus on what is in front of us." He parked along the street of the school, seeing as it was still slightly early for their release time. featherleg

Auransky"That......could be done." Why hadn't she thought that over? Truthfully, her parents use to do the same; levitating items of the floor, changing the lighting in her room from sunlight to moonlight. Simple things, at least for them. "He really does look up to you, you know." She said softly. "His work ethic has really improved in the last few years and I truly think it thanks to you." She leaned back in the car seat as she looked out towards the school. "They truly are wonderful, all three of them. About the lifespan thing...I had Aika do some research for me. Apparently, no matter if any of them turn out to be awakened in magic means, they'll all stop aging at roughly twenty-five and they'll be just like us." She quickly shook her head as she sighed. "I'm sorry I brought this all up. Here I was excited to see my daughter and now I'm just talking about whether or not she has powers."
