Her eyes fluttered open as she pulled herself up into a sitting position, the color of her iris flushing between a now cold brown and burnt red. While parts of her vision were blurred, she could clearly see the beast right in front of her, pulled down in some degrees but still determined to take her first. The moment Rowlin arrived, she tried her best to stand against one of the trees, moving her weight against it as she clutched her stomach with her left arm, her right still holding onto her blade but the blade seemed to increase in aggression. "Your horse... where is it?" She asked weakly to Rowlin as she kept her gaze locked with the beast. Seeing now that reinforcements had arrived, Celestia sent a final burst of raw fire into the wound Aika had made in its paw before drawing her bow to join the rest of them in the attack. "It's still focused on Princess Hakuryuu, gain its attention quickly!" Auransky

featherlegRowlin could feel blood flowing within him once again, or at least the feeling of numbness was quickly gone once a response was given. "My lady worry not.." He quickly but carefully lifted Princess Aika into his arms. "I-In the next clearing.." He added as he made his way towards his horse awaiting. He swallowed his thoughts, as now was no time for much thought. Making it towards his horse he cautiously mounted her on it. "Leave this to the others." He assured calmly. He had taken not much notice into the blades state of mind, but then again he swallowed his thoughts all together. "Like in hell you will.." Jakup lashed out his whip and this time wrapped it around the beast's leg, he pulled it tight, tight enough to pressure it and if long enough stop blood flow. "Go in Vidal!" Vidal charged in with has lance, he went head on using the lance to stab into the best while keeping his shield at bay. Drew went along the side using his bow to strike the beast along the spinal cord, neck, and arms.

Aika nodded in slow, and seemingly painful response. Once on the horse, she carefully sheathed her blade behind her and closed her eyes. Her breathing began to slow as she felt the slight embrace of the cold around her. As everyone continued the attack, the beast attempted to break free and fight back, but it was brought down once one of many arrows pierced deeply into its neck. It let out one final breath before it slumped to the ground. "Clear away from the corpse!" Celestia ordered as she unsheathed her rapier and cautiously approached its head. Getting closer brought new information: parts of its head were larger or more built than the rest, while others seemed caved in. It's teeth were gnarled and curved out of its mouth, and large amounts of blood were matted dry in various places. "You poor thing....what caused this?" She muttered as she removed her silk blue hood, revealing her pitch black hair and meadow green eyes, all framed by a deep tone of chestnut that ran across her skin. Auransky

featherleg Once securing Akia onto his horse, he himself jumped on from behind, then cautiously secured the reins of his horse. Without a second thought he made his way back for camp. I-It is not the time to define, nor argue... right now she needs to be tended too..Quickly Drew, and Vidal backed away. Jakup released hold of the leg then backed away himself; he held his whip in place as percaution, but the dead doesn't come back to life, right? The three regrouped and had questions, but now was not of the best time. Grayson, and Ungus spotted the camp up ahead, they nodded to one another before turning their attention towards the other knights. "We made it." Grayson let out a sigh of relief. "With no casulties on this end..." Ungus added. "But the others, I do worry-" He stated. Derrick approached Celestia on horseback, "My lady, your orders?" He asked.

"Burn the corpse. We can't leave it here whole. It's no longer part of this worlds ecosystem, if it was to rot I fear for what will find it." She said as she dropped her hands from its jaws as she finished examining it. "I heard there was another like the Princess in your party? One who has been brought back from the brink?" She asked in a hush tone as she looked across the small clearing. The current and better half of her life she had spent helping vampires control their senses and powers, hence why she made to join the Hakuryu ranks earlier on. To keep suspicions low, she often switched between the three main parties every two months. Auransky

featherleg (Had a moment- xD I was like... *tick...Tick...Tick Oh we're referring to him. )) Derrick nodded then turned his attentions to the others. "Burn it, and assure nothing remains. From ground up." He stated then jumped down his horse to meet her directly. He listened to her, and took caution notice when her voice hushed. "A-Aye... we do." He nodded back. "Y-You can go meet him if you'd like. He's had quite a day, but I know he's more then capable." He glimpsed behind him to see the hesitation in the air. "Well what are you waiting for, burn it!" He snapped his fingers. Seeing movement he returned his attention back to Celestia, "Might I escort you to the camp?" He offered. In the background Drew, Vidal, Jakup and the other knights gathered wood, and began to cut nearby branches to assist in burning the beast. Much movement was going on it almost felt like camp. "Alright safe and sound." Ungus let out a sigh of relief. "Indeed... and the transport is safe too." Grayson added. Their attention turned to see an incoming individual, they greeted them but froze to see Aika with Rowlin. "R-Rowlin what happened?" Grayson rushed over. "-Not now.." Rowlin shook his head and led his horse for Aika's quarters. "Fetch assistance." He called out lastly. Ungus turned, "I'll go find one of the nurses..." Grayson was stunned but he quickly turned and rushed off through the camp. Arriving outside of Aika's quarters, Rowlin swiftly got off then carefully removed Aika. After securing her on his arms, he walked for her quarters and took her inside. Once inside he glimpsed around spotting out her bed. He walked over then gently put her down. "M-My lady while help arrives, p-permission to remove your armer in the least. I-I can tend to the wounds partly." He assured, but was uncertain of taking action. He was somewhat afraid of the consequences that could arise from this issue. It would be his fault for what may appear, happen, or perceive.

"Better I meet him today to know his state than tomorrow." She said with a firm nod. "I better stay here to make sure they do it right. I'll join you all there soon. Go tend to the Princess, better you than your men." The harsh and sharpness that was in her tone seemed like it had fade as she donned on a causal smile and leaned against one of the trees. Relief washed over her as she saw brief glimpses of her cabin and felt the small warmth that it harbored. She nodded weakly in response Rowlin as she raised her hand to see it soaked in red and an odd, metallic gold before she dropped it to her side. "Funny how I can heal others....yet I still can't heal myself. It's rather...troublesome." The last word she forced out as she closed her eyes in pain, her free hand curling into a fist. featherlegDerrick nodded in understanding. "Aye my lady, I will do as you ask. Do not worry." He nodded then quickly jumped back on his horse. "Follow lady Celestia's orders as asked." With that he waved before zooming back into the woods heading back for camp. The flame went off and the knights began to place rocks along the perimiter to assure the flame does not stray off. "Alright more wood!" jakup added. "Here, we can use my lance to turn the body while it burns." Vidal suggested. "Alright, you tend to it." Jakup nodded. Drew walked into the clearing with more firewood, "This is all too bizzare..." Rowlin carefully removed Lady Aika's armor, he took the time to listen for any signs of pain. This would assist in him getting a better idea of where the wounds were. He herd her comment but hesitated a response. I-I don't know much on the matter... He turned "My lady please rest-I shall return shortly.." He was about to walk out when he herd footsteps outside. "G-Grayson?" He raised a brow. "I am not that young to say the least." Derrick walked in with a box of medical supplies. "T-The nurse?" Rowlin blinked. Derrick approached Aika then placed the supplies on the side. "Ordered back to their routine." "B-But why?" Rowlin flinched. "We can duo this ourselves, now come help me Willow. This should be simple for you. Come now keep calm." Derrick waved. "A-Alright.." Rowlin turned. "I assume you spotted the wound?" Derrick asked. "I-I found the source yes.." Rowlin nodded. "Deep?" Derrick wondered. "Yes, but not fatal to say in the least." Rowlin began holding out the supplies and tampering with everything at hand. He began to tend her wounds unsure as to what was going on.

Celestia watched carefully, not caring much for the visible bruising that she knew was starting to build around her arms and neck. She could always treat it later with some ice, which thankfully they had loads of. "This is going to smell awful." She muttered under her breath as she started to lazily braid her hair. Three deep scars ran across her lower stomach, the top one slightly curved into her waist and was only visible once the cloth around it was lifted. Still struggling to stay conscious, Aika opened her eyes for a moment before closing them once more. "D-Derrick, is everyone safe?" Auransky

featherleg "Alright-that should be just about well." Vidal called out. Drew shook his head, "We need to burn it too ash remember." "R-Right.." Vidal blinked. Jakup turned with a sigh, "The smell of death is awful isn't it?" "Oh please, humor me..." Drew sarcastically replied. "Hold these for me Derrick." Rowlin softly stated. He carefully lifted the cloth near the wounds, with a towel he began to clean the wounds. "Please do rest..." With the question at hand he smiled, "Aye my lady, no causalities thanks to your efforts." Derrick stated in relief. "We thank you strongly, and now I ask you rest. Should anything arise, or you need anything of request, I-no... we are here to aid you." Rowlin turned back and forth between the supplies at hand. Seeing as he had cleaned most of the now dry blood, and by now the blood was beginning to slow; he thought it was the best of time to patch up the wound. "My lady, I will wrap bandages along your waist, and stomach, I-I do apologize for any uncomfort that is to come." He humbly apologized. On the inside he felt numb again, was it the fear? Was it the after affect of everything that has happened? Or-was it something else? Being this close to what felt a river a blood, it was not an easy feeling. I-I feel pleasure somewhere.....somewhere deep, b-but why... He let the thought settle in the back of his other thoughts, as he reminded himself the procedure thought by thought. Yet every now and then the thought of discomfort and comfort would resurface. -Why...Derrick snickered a bit, "Oh my, such politeness even in the strongest of hours." He shook his head now. "I guess it runs in the family. Such gentlemen like, and humble like he was." Rowlin's eyes glimpsed back towards Derrick from time to time. Seeing as Lady Aika was merely unconcsious it felt safe to discuss. "Oh quit it, I'm nothing like him. He was mean, rude, and uncaring." Derrick raised a brow, "Oh, so that makes you mean, rude and uncaring?" "T-Tch... Leave the dead for dead." Rowlin tisked the thought. "If only the courts would.." Derrick side. "They can spend the rest of their lives arguing on that." Rowlin sighed. "Even if they sometimes consider you responsible?" Derrick challenged. Rowlin hesitated his response, as he continued to bandage around her waist with one hand, and assure as much blood was cleaned up with the cloth in his other hand. "They can say what they want, I-I don't remember a thing. So-they can say what they want." His eyes softened with regret. "B-But I know what you want without asking.." He paused. "You want me to remember, so-I can testify before the courts and give them, as well as many others the relief they seek." He shrugged. Derrick looked away, "I think it, but I'd never ask you to do such a thing."

Seeing as though the fire had engulfed a large portion of the corpse, Celestia pushed herself off the the tree before whistling to get everyone's attention. "Alright, we're heading back to the village for now. You've all seen enough, and I know some of you will question what's going on so just save it for later. Right now we need to check the supplies to make sure we didn't lose anything and start to rebuild. Luckily we have builders and carpenters with us so no more tents! Oh and no bothering Princess Hakuryu until further notice by either myself or Sir Derrick. Now let's go." Her tone, while straight forward like Aika's, had much more of a humorous and lightness to it. "Thank goodness..." Aika muttered before falling unconscious. (I'm not sure they would get to it, but she does have a major wound on her left shoulder that would be consider old by now. I'm sure Derrick would know about it.) Auransky

featherleg ((Thanks for the heads up. o/ )) "Alright then, back it is.." Vidal let out a sigh of relief. He headed for his horse then turned towards Drew. "Let's go, we have a lot to talk about with Grayson and Ungus." "R-Right.." Drew nodded then quickly headed for his horse to return to camp. Jakup watched the two go, he looked around the clearing to assure that everything was alright. I-I need to check on Rowlin He glimpsed around once more before heading towards his own horse. "A-Aye... before you consider this the end of the treatment; check her left shoulder." Derrick blinked now. "Why? She wasn't wounded in the shoulder-" The boy paused as he carefully followed along the sleeve; he stopped when his two fingers felt something abnormal. "Alright-I'll see to this." "Please do-knowing her she perhaps did not have anyone check on that for a while." Derrick nodded. "Aye.." Rowlin carefully unstrapped the back of her wardrobe, just enough to pull her clothes to the side without actually removing everything. Carefully pulling back the woredrobe he let out a gasp to the wound at hand. "H-How did you know?" He turned towards Derrick. "After a while you carry more secrets then you can handle." Derrick gazed away. "I'm sure with the package you recieved today; you will see what I mean." Rowlin ignored the comment while focusing directly on the wound. While it was an old wound, it was a rather deep one. It would not close on its own; not without a force of assistance. "Pass me that needle, and-string." He turned the towel and ran it lightly against the shoulder. It appeared to have new blood, perhaps it reopened during her fight, or perhaps it reopens after constant force. "What do you intend to do, my boy?" Derrick blinked. "Switch it, what else?" Rowlin's tone was unenthusiastic. "I do not like this idea, but by stitching it, it will mend over time. Leaving it open as is will not assist its wound. No matter how hard we tried. A-Ah I need light, can you?" He asked. Derrick handed him the needle and string; next he looked around the room and spotted a candle. Wasting no time he lit the candle and approached; holding it up to light up the area. Rowlin leaned close in towards the shoulder. He wanted to be precise, messing up was no laughing matter; especially in this situation. Carefully he placed the needle through the skin, and began to work around sticking it. The smell of blood was tickling his nose, he had his hands full of her blood, and though at first it was not a big hassle; the scent was beginning to make its presence. The numb feeling returned, but his eyes remained focused on the task at hand; he was not about to let this go. T-There it is again... this feeling... those thoughts. W-Why do I find this appealing-is it those selfish thoughts that all men carry? O-Or is it something else, that I-No, it is not.No I'm afraid... that is why. B-Blood always gives me this numb feeling, now is not any different.

Riding in the middle of the formation, Celestia started taking notes of her surroundings in her small notebook. Once they reached camp, she hopped off her stead and gazed around. "You guys are lucky you found a place like this. Should be easy to repair. Now, where is the ladies cabin?" She asked as she placed her hands on her hips. As Rowlin patched up the wound, a small, tattoo like glyph began to circle around it and glow a soft gold, resembling small branches with petals falling from them before vanishing back into her skin. There were also small, now healed, wounds that scattered around her back that were visible that seemed a bit more recent than the one on her shoulder. Auransky

She nodded as she sat down in her seat, her eyes flickering between Dalton and James. "Calhouns secertary won't be back until then, its mandatory that she goes with us." She was somewhat relieved to know that she was going, but for reasons she wouldn't disclose to them. "James do you mind if I speak with Dalton alone? It...shouldn't take too long, I promise." Rosestar"Of course, of course. I'll... Go get some coffee of something." James didn't mean at all, but whatever was happening was probably important. He skittered out of the room, ready to leave them be, but he paused at the door. "I'll be nearby if you need anything," he said, unsure which of his friends would need it more.

featherleg"A-Ah" Drew rode up to meet in par with lady, Celestia. "Her Cabin is up ahead to the left; I-I can gladly show you." He offered. "It is on the way towards the stable." He began riding on ahead. Vidal followed behind, now full of thoughts. Some being at the fact that they are alive, others just puzzling the events that took place. Jakup followed after, he might as well head to the stable as well. Riding through the camp, Drew eventually paused to glimpse out left, T-Two hoses? He turned then pointed out, "Where those two horses are-t-that's where Lady Aika's quarters are." He added. Rowlin was astonished and even more lost by what had happened. He had completed his task, but he just stood there stunned for the briefest of moments. "D-Derrick....." "I saw nothing." Derrick calmly stated. "You are your crazy young soul magic." "I kid you not, I saw what I saw...don't start throwing accusations so carelessly." Rowlin blinked. "I kid-" Derrick chuckled, "That indicates she is well." "A-Alright.." Rowlin nodded then glimpsed briefly against the back; he shook his head quickly putting the sleeve, and adjusting her wardrobe back in place quickly; buttoning the back he let out a sigh of relief. "A-All is well.." He stated then backed away for a moment to brief. "Aye good boy, just like your brother." Derrick teased.

"Great!" Celestia smiled brightly as he and Jakup guided her to the cabin. She recognized Derricks stead but not the other that stood there. "Thank you for seeing me here as well as helping my caravans. I deeply appreciate it." She bowed to the two before entering the cabin quietly, her footsteps light as she glanced around and approached the two. "I'm guessing you worked your magic, huh?" Her happy go lucky tone was much softer but still rather upbeat as she lightly slapped Derricks shoulder in a playful manner. "And I'm guessing you're the newest addition to the Vampiric Court huh?" She asked towards Rowlin as she study him. "Well, you don't seem like a Heart Seeker like the princess is, and you're not an underling....." Tapping her chin, she leaned her weight into her right side as she looked at him in confusion. "Derrick, he hasn't reacted to any bloodspill yet has he?" Auransky

featherleg Rowlin had quickly turned towards the sound of a newcomer. It caught him off guard, seeing as his entire focus was on Lady Aika's wounds- "I-I-I did what I could..." He stepped back a bit, feeling rather off. This was exactly what he was afraid of, but-her tone seemed more light hearted. It carried a different approach then that of Akia. Just as quickly as it scared him, he suddenly relaxed. "I'm glad to see you still in high spirits, Lady Celestia." Derrick smiled graciously. He watched Celestia's curiosity blow all over the place. He couldn't help but let out a light laugh seeing Rowlin's upmost confusion, as well as Celestia inspecting him. It was like purchasing the dream item from the merchants. "E-Eh....my lady that I was going to mention to you before hand, but-it sort of slipped my mind." He gazed elsewhere with a rather innocent look. Rowlin flinched at the mention of courts, I-Is she here to ask me about that day, or? W-Wait... "Y-You said Vampiric courts?" He spoke his thoughts in upmost confusion. "I-I do not follow..." He now tilted his head a bit, as though pressure were weighing him on one end. "F-Forgive me my lady-I-I herd you say Vampiric....I-I'm not following..." Derrick facepalmed with a now somewhat shameful expression. "This follows an issue, that even his brother warned me about. Either he has no idea, hasn't reached that critical point, or-he doesn't remember..... Safe to say he might just die like anyone else, thinking it that way he will live not knowing of that half which all fear." "W-What are you talking about?" Rowlin turned towards Derick for a moment, but then turned back towards Celestia. "S-Someone please fill me in, unless it involves my life; then I don't know what I choose." "Oh just like your brother." Derrick ruffled Rowlin's hair. "Aye if I did that to him; he would surely have stabbed me." He laughed before turning his full attention back to Celestia. "See, Sir. Vincent, the tactition I worked with; well.... he never answered me as to whether or not he has reacted to bloodspill. All I was told was to keep him as far away from any of this." He sighed at the thought. "But here we are"

"I'm in a good mood when I get to do my job Derrick, and please drop the whole 'Lady' thing. You know the princess only gave me the title to keep up with her formalities." She turned her head back towards Rowlin as she listened to the two. "So all we know is that you react differently to blood based off of what Sir Vincent has claimed? And we have yet to see single fang or change of color in your eyes? The princess doesn't totally count reaction wise with her injuries since her blood is slightly different from that of a normal persons." She kept her tone rather calm as she pulled up a seat. "You seemed rather lost though considering what's going on. Like something hasn't clicked for you. Do you get that vibe from him Derrick?" Auransky

featherleg Derrick laughed now slightly bending forward, "Sorry Celestia, it is such a habit of mine. To stand in front of individuals who actually want to execute you for not addressing them with up most importance." His stood back up and moved his head as Celestia made her way around a very confused Rowlin. It almost made him laugh to see the boy so lost. Rowlin blinked following Celestia's movements. "I-I don't follow.." He added with a blink. "You speak of blood as though it were an addiction bad to fall upon. B-But-fangs, and eyes, this sounds almost like a tale to keep children in after dark." He paused for a moment. "I-It almost sounds like something Vincent would tell me growing up..." His voice softened now. "-But of course I am confused, upmost in the most. This morning did not go in any way I expected, and now you are mentioning fangs, and eyes? This-this almost makes it appear like the world wants me to go mad or something-" He cut himself off realizing his tone had been rising a bit. "I-I'm sorry...perhaps you are mistaken with the wrong person. I-I really do not know what you mean..." Derrick nodded, "He usually does not take this long to click onto concepts, but in this instance something indeed hasn't clicked for him. That is something that concerns me at most." He walked over to Rowlin and grabbed his wrist, then pulled up his sleeves. "Unlike Vincent there are no restraints of any sorts. For this-it confuses me much more." He let go then backed away, "Is this something to worry about Celestia? I know not much of these matters, but if we consider this like any skill; it must be gained, obtained, or triggered at some point in life." He fell silent thinking quickly, then suddenly waved a finger, "In the last few months I have been revisiting all the places Vincent has stepped foot on. I have collected momento's left behind, and talked to those who were closest to him during his visits. I have collected some of his journals which he would leave scattered out for safe holding; reading through it he mentioned something about regretting his lies. As to what he was lying about, I cannot say for certain what his lies were, but-he would write them continuously through various entries. His strongest writing on lies came from when he had visited his brother for brief periods...If we perhaps connect those "lies" to Rowlin's lost connection; we can perhaps assume that Vincent never once told him anything." He considered the possibility. Rowlin blinked now remaining in silence. He was still lost, but mentioning the journal entries he couldn't help but feel guilty for some reason. S-So Derrick read through them before giving them to me? His attention grew to regret. "I do not deny what I saw today from start to finish, but this-I-I don't know how to feel..."

Gathering all the information in her head, she closed her eyes before snapping her fingers. "There's only two real possibilities. Either his mind was wiped completely when he was turned or he's actually a true blood. Meaning he comes from a bloodline of vampires. They're a bit uncommon out here but it is possible that he was raised so well in your type of society that his true nature was never triggered. If this Vincent fellow kept him away from the world he was meant to be in, it would lead us to something like this. It happens queit often with my people as well. If you aren't raised around magic you never use it, it just goes to sleep." Taking a look at Rowlin once more, she stood up and knelt before him. "Look kid, the only way to know for certain if you are what I and the Court believe you to be as of right now is to see if you have fangs. I know this all sounds like make believe, but do you honestly think we'd be talking about this so nonchalantly if it wasn't true? I mean, Derrick's a human and he gets most of what I say. We're not trying to pull a joke on you, we just want to make sure we can keep you safe." Auransky

featherleg"I-I'm sorry..." Rowlin apologized. "I-I see your point clearly. My day has been full of mockery , therefore this was the last thing I ever expected..." He admitted his inner thoughts. "I grew up in Ireland, with my family. My father was not the top elite, but he made a name for himself as a humble doctor who had learned from England. My mother on the other hand assisted with the local school house, she came from England; where she also met my father. I-I'm not sure if this helps, -growing up I was always encouraged to not leave Ireland.. should I do so, I was to leave with Vincint or some other provided escort who would usually be a close friend of theirs. When I asked my brother for permission to enlist, he denied and threatened me most terrifyingly should he find out. B-But- I only enlisted after his death, because there would be no one to stop me. W-Well at least until my best friend suddenly decided to enlist. He gives me that same barrier feel as my family before him." "W-Well.." Derricks murmured. "The night Vincint was killed-Rowlin was with him. Back home the local courts wish to seek justice for the death of their own blood, but-there is a debate on this. The debate stands that the one who killed Vincint was one of our enemies, the second possibility is that Rowlin killed his own brother. B-But that presents a problem, because-Rowlin cannot remember those events. The courts in Ireland wish to hear his testimony , but he cannot provide one for he cannot remember."

The courts in Ireland wish to hear his testimony , but he cannot provide one for he cannot remember." "So you've been raised in a rather...sheltered life previously to all this, yeah?" She carefully grabbed hold of Rowlins hand in a gentle manner. "For the most part, you didn't hold any grudges against Vincent or your family? Nothing sinister or malicious?" Her head titled to the side as her eyes flowed a faint blue that load under her eyes normal meadow green. While she had no means of reading thoughts fully or retrieving memories, she could detect dishonesty and guilt through her magic. If they were going to help Rowlin, she needed to get as much of his story as possible before someone tried to force it out of him. Auransky

featherleg Rowlin quickly shook his head, his tone holding surprise towards Celestia's last comment. "N-No I don't hold any grudges! I love my family dearly, and I miss my brother most of all." His eyes followed Celestia's hand gently grabbing his. He relaxed and gave in, then turned his attention to meet her gaze. "M-My father blames me for the death of my brother. He told me if I had not gone to see him, he would have been alive. A-And sometimes I find myself asking that question, if I had not gone; would he still be here?" "As per assured you being there or not would not have changed a thing." Derrick muttered. "They were the enemy, and they successfully trapped us in. That day was planned, and I still believe that one of our enemies chose to walk amongst our ranks. Otherwise it would not have gone the way it did. " Derrick looked away. "They wanted royalty-they wanted our way of life destroyed; he was just protecting his loyalties." "I-I have no military history that part is true, but-I also wanted to distance myself from Vincint. S-So ... I asked Derrick to assist in that. It is considered offense to some degree, but-I feel like if the others knew, if those who survived from my brother's unit knew; they would ..." He paused then looked away, "they may- either assume I'm responsible, or think I can carry the torch... I'm nothing like him, I do not wish to soil his name, nor do I wish to raise false hope. I have seen locally how having a knight in the family raises reputation for the sons who join later. It rwises ego, and prosperity; but what good will it do if such deeds are not met? I wish to start from the bottom floor, and walk up those steps through my own experiences... That way it falls on me, and me alone." He paused for a now calming breather. "N-Now my father considers me dead, or at least in his eyes. I defined his wishes and left Ireland to see Vincint days before his death. I was there I cannot remember exactly what has happened that night, but-father claims I did it. Based on how the corpse was found-and I still find myself on that line, as to whether it is truth or illusion.."

"You needn't say more." Celestia said in a content tone as she patted his hand. "You speak true from your heart, and that is what matters. I believe that, overtime, you'll remember what happened that night. From what I can sense I know you had no fault in your brothers death, and that you were more likely misguided to trust someone who meant ill against you and your brother." Her finger quickly ran against on of the main, visible veins that was on his wrist. Within that motion, her eyes glowed brighter before returning to their normal hue. "Hmm....well, you aren't human, that's for sure. Don't take that in the wrong way Rowlin, it just means you're something else. What that is, I'm going to help you find out, alright?" Auransky

Rowlin smiled as a child would after accomplishing a good deed. His bright green gaze softened , hearing such words of comfort, if he had not bit his lip he perhaps would have broken down right there on the spot. He shook his head slowly, "I take no offense, and I'll do my best to help figure this out. B-But- Thank you! I appreciate the kind words, and should anything come to mind I will let you know first hand. Whatever you throw my way, I will gladly endure." featherleg

"Haha, you can thank me later! Seriously though, it's good to see that you have a high spirit. A lot of my men think I'm too loose or upbeat for war, but if we didn't have people like you and me, we wouldn't get anything done." She let go of his hand and stood up. "We'll start training tomorrow. In the meantime, go rest. You're going to need it." Turning towards Derrick, she gestured towards the door before walking over to Aika. "I think your troops have questions. You should probably answer them while you can. I'll take care of the Princess for the rest of the day." Auransky

"Aye, I look forward to it!" He nodded with a light chuckle. He stepped back , "Rest sounds pleasant, such a dream come true." He bowed slightly then walked out of the room. Derrick crossed his arms at the thought, "I could tell them-or I could tell them that I will tell them tomorrow? Then tell them I will continuously plan to tell them." He considered. "But yes, I will go answer questions as seen fit. Should you need rest do call for me and I will take lead." He turned to walk but stopped as a new thought burst, "How much truth must be answered? If lies need be added I can do so." featherleg

"Tell them what the beast was, but do not give away what we are. That's what the Princess would want." Most of the decisions she made, she tried to make them in the interest or benefit of Aika or those she respected amongst the army. Sitting next to her, she examined Aika's wrist before sighing. "She hasn't been maintaining herself like she should. Do you mind if...." Her eyes rose to his briefly before looking back down at the ground with a defeated look. She never liked asking people like Derrick to give themselves up, even briefly, to vampiric desires or needs. But with three of them leading the entire army, it had to be done. Auransky

featherleg"Understood, Worry not for these sorts of things I have grown used to. We answer the questions, distinct ourselves from them, and before you know it, young souls firing into battle." Her change in gaze softened him a bit from his posture, his darkened eyes met with hers. They appeared to carry sympathy a look which cried regret. He walked over to where Aika lay then knelt down to meet Celestia directly. "I don't mind one bit. Just tell me when and 'll gladly serve." He nodded firmly.
