Axel put on a smirk "well you should get ready" he whipped Darian across the chest. "I do not like to repeat myself, and i'm doing it right now! How do you make the armor?" The kingdoms had been fighting over these for years. If the armor recipe was found, Luthengard could create the perfect warrior, one with strength and magic to rival omly the dragons.

"You're going to be hit until you can't feel it anymore, or you beg for mercy." He looked outside the gate and gestured to a guard and told him " get me once he begs for mercy" Axel handed the man the whip and left the dungeons. --- Evan got up and walked over to commander Westron "Commander, what's needed?"

((oh yeah XD))
Heather awoken, shakily standing up and glancing around, her hood down now, her red hair a mess. She suddenly collapsed, her leg literally torn open somehow. wh-what? she thought.

Heather pulled up her hood and started on again. She stayed on guard as she entered the forest. She stepped slowly, not knowing what could pop out.

Kjell strayed from the village, nearing the forest entrance. He had woken up earlier today, so he figured he could extend his break a little longer. As he walked closer, he saw a tall figure with long red hair. Watching her for a moment, he decided to step out of the brush. Her height was closer to his than other females, which made him much more comfortable. That wasn't to say that he was not still afraid. He stepped toward her. "Hello." Kjell said quietly.

Ray woke with a start. He couldn't remember what made him black out, but he's probably tripped over his footing in his excitement. The male's hair was even more messy than before, but his mind was already working where the girl had gone. The grass was mated in places leading to the forest. He followed the quite messy trail she had left and easily found her from broken twigs and ruffled bushes. Most Dragonkin were at least relatively good in tracking since they lived in a forest. He was especially good since he used to to find out where villages were located so he could avoid them. He found the red-haired girl talking to a young man who seemed to have a dark substance smudged on his skin, though the boy was obviously a Dragonkin by his unusual heigh. Judging by the boys mostly humankind appearance, he probably was extremely gifted in magic, he had no clue that the boy was considered a failure. Ray, himself, because of his vivid red hair and dark Crimson eyes got his curiosity about humanity from the intelligence and since those were the only signs he was Dragonkin he had a not-so-usual magic. Namely, he could make things appear and disappear (mostly a teleportation spell from his multiple resides), along with the magic he'd used earlier where he could single out a person so they could hear his voice when others couldn't. Instead of greeting them, he stood off to the side, leaning against a tree, and summoned a Quil pen and a scroll of paper and began jotting down the female's measurements (since his senses were extremely keen).

Kjell paused. He could've sworn he heard something, like footsteps. He did a quick turn, analyzing his surroundings. "Hello?" he called. He thought for a moment. "I can see you, no point in hiding." he lied, hoping that would coax whomever it was, if anyone, out. If he hadn't been so nervous, he would have been annoyed at how behind he was going to be on his work.

Heather pretended not to hear anything, but she heard everything the guy behind her was saying. I hope this isn't another Dragonkin. she told herself. If it is, I'll be toast.

Kjell sighed when no one emerged after a few seconds. Maybe it was just an animal. He turned back to the red-haired girl and cleared his throat shakily. "H-hello?" he began again. "Are you human?" he asked. He had guessed that she was dragonkin based on her height, but anything was possible. The fact that she might be human intrigued him more than anything.

(I forgot to say what Mason looked like, lol) ![](https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/bc/f1/14/bcf114e3334d891069120a6e318fe393--anime-male-male-hairstyles.jpg) Mason was just getting to bed as most members of the crimson heart were getting up. For a while he was getting to used to being up at day, as Thalia could help to keep watch, and make sure no crime would be done. His hair, at one point being a thick, and nappy afro had slowly become dreadlocks, which he reused to cut out. Mason had a dark complexion, lightened by his nocturnal lifestyle. Most wondered how a black man could be a Dragonkin, and there is an answer for that. His father was an escaped slave who entered the forest as a last resort, but luckily his mother was hunting in the outer woods at the time. Mason's mother had been mostly a dragon, so Mason's bottom half was quite draconic. His thighs were very thick and muscular colored with dark gray scales, accompanied by a huge tail made him quite the anomaly in the Dragonkin world. Mason wore a simple cloth shirt and red dyed shorts. When on duty he wore a set of armor primarily made from strips of leather stacked upon each other twice to give more protection from magic, as organic armors fought against magic vastly better than metal ones, which magic seemed to just tear through. The armor was then painted with glyphs written in dragon tongue all down the armor. Of course not all dragonkin spoke dragontongue, but just the elders and scholars.

Evan saluted the commander then he changed into a plain gray long-sleeve shirt, a heavy weight burgundy jacket, and black pants. His brown hair and brown eyes made him look quite normal, and he was not used to not having his helmet. Evan's helmet had a small plethora of powers. It glowed slightly, deflected any hit to the head, and could not break. The helmet was on the lower end of armors that Imorela smiths were able to make. He spoke to Eric "When do we head out?"

Eric got dressed in a cloud grey, button-down collared shirt with a burgundy vest going over it. He dawned a grey scarf with the lengthy ends on his back rather than pushed forward onto his chest. He also wore leather gloves and black pants that had dark grey leather at the news along with a pair of light grey leather books. Around his waist was a tanned leather messenger bag which had the map in it along with a quill, ink, paper and a small silver whistle. He looked up just as he put in a scroll with a list of names on it in his messenger bag when the others came over. Tyler was dressed as a hunter and with his elven origins, well, it made sense and looked natural for the man to be in a vest and baggy jeans with a bow and quiver slumped over his shoulder. He decided to dress Eric's question promptly. "Now. The wagon should be waiting for us at the gates. I just need to release two birds when we get to the wagons. A falcon and an owl. Owl's can fly through ran and, on the odd chance we might find outselves needing to write to Commander Westron in the late evening, an owl's the opportune choice. Then there's the falcon which is strong enough to fend for itself and quick enough to reach the kingdom in about 12 hours where a hawk would be less." He explained, leading them toward the gate entrance which was maybe a five minute walk if they went at a brisk pace -which they were.

Andrea stumbled through the forest, not realizing she'd accidentally made her way into the forest. It'd been a while, well, it'd still been dawn when she left and now it looked like the sky was going brighter with light as though it was nearing the start of sun high. The young elven woman noticed what looked like stout buildings that nearly blended into the forest and quickened her pace. She was utterly lost by now, as she'd been in a hurry to make her way differ from the young dragon female's own and had ended up wandering into some part of the forest she didn't know. Apparently, the forest was much bigger than she thought it was. "Hello?" She called as the reached the town which was sparsely bustling. -- Nichole walked into the town from the rear entrance, a basket, which had it's handle broken, settled in the crook of her left arm with her left hand supporting it, and another one clutched by its own non-broken handle in her right hand. The basket in her left arm held a bundle of light blue, amber, white and purple flowers while the basket in her right hand was filled with blueberries, raspberries, boysenberries, wild strawberries and bundles of golden, sun kissed, wild wheat. The only thing was, she nearly dropped them when she saw an elven girl walk into town. She hurried to her little wooden house at the edge of the village and walked in, setting down her baskets before peering back out her door. Her house was stone from the floor to about her waist (she was 5'10) and the rest was wood. In the back of her house she had a semi-large furnace made of stone and the masons of the town helped make sure the area around it wouldn't catch fire by placing stone two feet around the furnace mouth and making the walls two feet around it stone as well. Basically, half her little house was a kitchen while the other half had her bed, which was neatly made with red wool sheets, and a wooden table with a quartz outlining. The floor was mainly ebony and she had six windows, one to each wall, on her sideways L shaped house. She wondered what the town guards would do to the elven girl. Nichole would have had long chestnut-brown hair had it not been for the tips getting in everything, leading to her cutting it short so it was fluffy, loose, and ended nearly at the base of her chin. Her eyes were an autumn brown, brown with a slight amber hue with flecks of green, and her lips were a full coral pink. Her skin was sun kissed and lightly tanned (mainly on her shoulders, nose and knees). Her Dragonkin features would be her pointed fangs, the little nubs of ivory which she supposed were suppose to be horns, though they barely too an inch above her hair and the way her skin seemed to 'glow' under moonlight. The only thing was, she basically had no magic powers. Okay, yeah, she had something with animals and plants, but she'd hardly call that magic. It was more like she was, nature inclined. She looked around from where she stood at her door for the town guards.

Mason was walking around the center of town, playing with his niece when a tall woman walked into town. The girl hid behind him. "Hello!" He replied happily. "I'm Mason, head of the guard here at Crimson heart, outskirts of Crestfall." He looked her up and down, noticing how tall she was. "It's nice to know we still get visitors out here." Mason loved people, despite what everyone thought, because he was on the job all the time. He hadn't been able to get any sleep because of Lily. She had a tail, which almost every member of Mason's family had, she had purple eyes, and had only one wing. Mason's family was considered mutts. Because of the dwarven ancestry at the beginning of the time of the Dragonkin they had features that were considered ugly or unuseful. (he thinks she's dragonkin because she's tall, because she's an elf. I was thinking that elves should be very distantly dragonkin, which explains their different appearance, and maybe some could have magic.)

(She's not exceedingly tall, maybe 5'9) -- Andrea stared blankly at Mason as he approached and let out a loud, tired groan. Of course. The one town she happened to stumble upon just had to be filled with Dragonkin. She wondered why he wasn't chasing her out when she realized her elongated ears must be the only reason. Some of these people did look rather human. Still, she was curious as to why they weren't slightly on guard by the fact that she was bodied in armor. Deciding to play along, she asked, "Do you know the East Jaybird Road? If you have a map or could point me in the right direction, that'd be great. I could find the kingdom from there." Dragonkin had to know about the kingdom, right? I mean, how could they not.

(Still tall, that's good enough) -- "Why would you try to leave?" He asked curiously "I can not in good conscious let anyone leave without one of my guards" He said calmly. Lily walked out from behind Mason and tapped Andrea's body armor, making a dinging sound. She giggled "Pretty" Mason laughed slightly "Lily! don't harass the guests!" She kept on giggling. -- Mason looked around and found a teenage Guard who held a quarterstaff and had a dagger in his belt and called him over. "This noblewoman needs someone to accompany her into the human world" The girl was surprised by seeing an almost human looking Dragonkin. The woman had metal armor! Something unheard of in the Crimson Heart. The boy was pretty surprised to see someone who would be so powerful in magic. He had horns and large purple scaled wings that could fly him and two more people at amazing speed. The boy's name was Ronan.

Andrea crouched down and patted the little girl on the head gently. "You'll be strong in your own way when you're older, I'm sure you'll be awesome." She said encouragingly with a thumbs up. She then straightened up and extended her hand to the boy who was supposedly going to accompany her to the kingdom, though it looked like she would probably be the one guarding the boy. How was he supposed to fight like that? "I'm sorry, but you don't have any armor, how are you going to protect yourself if we end up running into one of the war's battles?" She asked, trying not to sound rude, though she was doubtful that it carried through. -- Nichole made her way out of her house with a sigh. So the girl was Dragonkin, though she did look odd. Maybe it was some odd custom in the village where this girl came from. Surely, looking so human, she would have magic enough to shield herself? When she heard the woman would be going, she quickly piped up, "It's supposed to be hot today and you've probably come a long way from your village. You've only just gotten here, you could stay for dinner at least?" She asked, looking hopefully from Andrea to Mason. Tonight was a full moon, so they'd be having the monthly village feast. -What a perfect day for a visitor to come.

Mason looked towards Nichole "Oh that's a wonderful idea!" He sighed "Let Ronan prove himself through sparring, then you may leave in the morning" Said Mason, someone most Dragonkin knew to revere, even if they didn't know his name. The head of guard was almost as important as the village elder, or priest, or messenger. Those three created the council, with The head of Guard's input afterward. --- Ronan looked at the woman who wore such heavy armor. wouldn't that slow her down? he though to himself, preparing himself mentally in case she lacked defensive skills, making her better at offensive spells.

Andrea gave a large smile at the idea of sparring. "It'd be my first time." She said excitedly, mainly to herself. She pulled a throwing knife from her belt (she always kept two on-hand just incase her sword wasn't enough) and threw it at Mason, aiming for it to skim his cheek or ear, either would be fine since she wasn't aiming directly for his face. Then, she drew her sword and, which surprising speed, dashed forward with her sword ready for his neck. Of course, if she wasn't blocked, she would stop the sword from doing any real damage since it was only a sparring match. The armor, despite its appearance, was made lightweight and thin, so it was no wonder she could move around so easily in her armor. ------------------------------- (refresher on her looks thin plated armor mixed slightly with clad armor from her waist up. The underarm crook behind her elbows were black stained leather along with the joints of her gloves. Along her waist was overlapping scaled armor to allow for more swifter movements. Her skin was lightly tanned and her lips were cherry red. Her eyes were a dark brown with a slight cherry-amber hue. A long, double edged sword was sheathed in attached to her belt. - she was in good shape too. Her night-black hair reached just below the base of her lungs and had a slight blue tinge to it from the soap she used to wash her hair. A set of longed ears protruded through her hair giving away that she was of elven origins. She didn't wear a helmet as it would impair her vision and her boots were leather rimmed with iron and copper. She wore black leather pants with iron reinforcing the sides going town to just above her knees.)

When the throwing knife soared to his face he held up his hand and froze it in it's place, and shortly after it clattered to the ground. He had weak-ish magic, that was mostly harmless, but could be used to an advantage in combat. When she charged at him he was caught off guard and just barely dodged out of Andrea's path. He held up his hand and water came out a small stream that ran through town, and hardened into ice. While the woman was still recovering he shot them to her. Why isn't she using magic? he thought to himself. (Ronan's spells: Timelock: Freezes someone or something in place for 30 seconds) (Ice law: Can manipulate water, but shortly after it's touched by magic it freezes into ice) (Water law: Water manipulation, only can be used near water) (Healing tears: Can heal anything, and even resurrect. If this spell is used to bring someone back to life, the user dies. If any other major wound, it just makes you cry harder)

(one more spell, Ice wall: Makes a wall of ice out of nothing, once made it's almost impenetrable by all except Dragonfire, or some equivalent) Ronan's leather chest plate was ripped slightly, and his feet were kicked out from under him. Still no magic? His head hit the packed dirt from feet and he instinctively created a round shield of ice above him. as he was in a vulnerable position. "You're good!" He said, despite having seen better. Mason was stronger than her, but Mason refuses to spar unless there's a reason.
