Darian struggled against the chains, but they were secure. "No." He said, not knowing how any normal person could break out of freaking chains. "i'm sorry, I'm not a Dragon Child like you." He informed her, still trying to struggle against the chains. Frick, if the guards got here, they'd have knights no doubt and it would be over. The woman would no doubtably be killed and he might be along with her, and, if not, then he'd still be tortured.

The woman sighed "I expected better from the humans" she said, kneeling and grasping the chains. White light created cracks all throughout the chains, then they exploded into dust. The woman then took his wrist and ran with him, she knew the building surprisingly well, and navigated her way to the exit, where guards awaited them. The woman swallowed hard. Her eyes shone completely white as she spoke "They will find the dragons" her eyes turned back to green, well one green, the other brilliant blue, and snapped out of her trance. She was furious with this city, and wanted it dead.

One guard charged her, who she easily tripped. The woman picked up his shield just before another guard charged her. When the guard attempted to strike her she held the shield out, and the man went flying backward. This magic was similar to the magic Thalia often used to deflect attacks, but with increased vitality. Two more were charging her, and that would be no problem, but it was clear that the use of magic was waring her down. Her breathing was labored, and her skin hot to the touch. Ofcoirse it would take a lot of magic to kill her, but much less to have an extreme mental toll on her.

The woman was struggling, the two guards were on both of her sides, and at one time they hit at the exact same time. The woman held her hands out, and a sphere of magical energy surrounded her. It was volatile. when the men tried to hit her again their swords melted all the way to the hilt. Seeing the power that the woman possessed they ran in fright, one of the knights looked towards her, and was caught off guard when Darian charged. The woman looked for a way out as Darian fought "I wonder if i could still fly" She muttered to herself stretching her wings, preparing for flight.

The woman tried of fly, but gained almost no upward mobility on the torn useless things. She shouted towards the heavens and cried, hitting the cobblestone roads in a weeping mess. Now whenever anyone tried to get near her strong winds would push them far far away. She spoke, but in gasps and fragments, her brain almost not able to connect two thoughts "If they die.... The prophecy tells of a man of magic.... He's not magic... The girls are going to Hawk's Reach..." She stood up and spoke again, the winds surrounding her becoming quicker, spinning dangerously fast. Her voice was carried in a loud boom "When the Oracle is released, and the Dragon walking among men slaughters, three will fight and win, bringing forth a new kind of Dragonkin" The winds started to slow, and Axel exited the building, looking at the woman "I thought you'd get away Lydia" He spoke hatefully, and held up his hand. The winds that would send most any man flying changed their path to allow Axel through "You've been here since you were twenty Lydia, you cannot think we'd give up so easily" He laughed at the thought, and stood right in front of her.

Darian fought through the line of knights, a slice going down his arm and a cut on his cheek. When the guards from before brought him his clothes, he put them on swiftly and took a belt from one of the knight and strung it tight above his cut to stop the blood that was starting to show through his clothes he'd just put on. He noted Axel making his way toward the woman who'd helped him and he grimaced. He was tired out and his double edged sword was heavy in his hands so he sheathed it on his belt. He caught part of what Axel was saying, but only picked up on the woman's name. Lydia. He found the white steed, that Axel had rode on to get there, tied up outside of the dungeons, so he pulled himself onto it. "Lydia," He whispered, "I'll find the girls and return them to their forest." He vowed, though he doubted anyone could hear him. He tapped the horse's flank with the heel of his boots and the horse began trotting away from the scene. If she was still alive after he'd gotten the girls, he would come back for Lydia.

"Thank you!" She shouted, just before Axel struck her down with his elbow. Knnowing it was no use to fight him, she got back up and ran into the city. Lydia expended her last bit of magical energy to hide her wings. She then found a busy street and walked down it. She found a home that had laundry out to dry, and stole a blue dress with a leather corset. She had no money, so she sold off the shield for 50 gold. Now she just had to hide. Thalia sat in the tailor's shop, looking out the window after she was fitted for a dress, and they were fitting Amaria. They had dresses in the Crimson heart, but she had never taken a liking to them. She was being given a big dress to hide her tail.

Amaria was being fit in a red and white dress. The bodice of the dress was a deep red done in a strapless style ornate with pearls lining around the top and at the base of her bodice. Then, attached to her bodice was white lace that pulled inward to her neck where there was a dark red clover with a blue gemstone on the front with three rows of beads stemming from the oval gem and making their way around the choker. Her sleeves, which were detachable, started four inches below the crook under her shoulders and flared out in a bell sleeve done in loose ruffles. The rest of her sleeves were tight going to her wrist where the fanned out slightly, the trim being lace and between the fanned end and the tightness at her wrist was a row of pears going all the way around. She had on a thin corset underneath that fit around her waist without irritating her wings that sat furled under her bodice. She also dawned a cage crinoline which held up the petticoats in a wide circle. The first petticoat was white and overlaying that fully was a deep red petticoat. Over those were five more petticoats in a translucent red which got shorter as it went further up and were each end in loose, light ruffles. Her short, blonde hair was done in curls and the locks that went down to the base of her neck were styles in waves that would frame her face. She'd insisted they'd work off s simple red dress which they had and the tailors had been customizing it for an hour now, Amaria loving the attention and how the dress had come out. They were finishing the last bit of sowing right now to fit against her waist. "All done, Miss Amaria." One of the workers said and another one rolled over a large mirror. Her breath was taken away when she saw her reflection. The dress was beautiful and she adored it. "Thank you!" She said, slipping into the shoes they'd provided her with. They were short wedge heels since they would be easier to walk in than normal heels. "Thalia! Look, look!" She squealed excitedly. -- Darian made his way into the main part of town and found a clothing parlor. He dismounted the horse and tied it up out from before walking in. There was an array of suits, shirts, hats, ties, gloves, canes and the sorts, so he looked around. Luckily, he always carried around at least four gold pieces and three silver pieces, so that should be enough to buy him a set of clothes, a bag and food.

"Your dress is beautiful" Said Thalia encouragingly. Her dress was a simple blood red velvet dress that was adorned with the one peace of jewelry she cared to ware. The miniature sword carved from a garnet that represented a warrior of Roseheart. Her tail was kept under the dress, but when she walked it could be seen, and her spikes did show through the dress, making her look quite scary. Thalia like a modest look. As for shoes, she wore plain ballet slippers, because she assumed she'd have to run. "Thank you so much" She said, curtsying to the tailor

Lydia walked to an inn, bought a room, and paid to make them say she'd never been there, but she was out of money. She had to get a job in the morning, in the meantime, she explored the city to find out the best route for escape. (I'm probably gonna stop rp-ing Lydia)

Amaria smiled at Thalia's compliment then copied her older sister by curtsying in thanks to the tailor(s). She turned back to her sister and made her way toward the door as she spoke, "Let's explore town. We have today free before we have to do any meetings or the sort." Their guards were waiting at the trance. They were assigned two guards and a footman. The guards would stand a respectful distance away the the footman would be adjacent and behind; she'd picked that up on their way to the Tailors. It seemed they were in the royal/aristocratic part of the kingdom seeing as they were so close to the castle and ladies and gentlemen were dressed up pretty and had people accompanying them. -- A woman, maybe in her late thirties, walked down the white cobblestone path wearing an amber dress with two petticoats and a faded, pastel yellow *****ie collar (It was censored, so think of a stone collar vest, but a v shape) stopped right at the center of her chest. Her sleeves were fanned out at the end and her over amber petticoat had an upside down V cut to show the faded pastel yellow petticoat underneath it. Instead of a bonnet she dawned a parasol and lacked a pair of gloves. Her eyes caught on a woman who looked older than her and was wearing a simple, but beautiful, blue dress. Kyra (key-ra) made were way over with a simple greeting, "Hello, there."

"That sounds like fun" Said Thalia simply. She did not want to reveal too much of herself to her guards, as she thought they would realize her fighting background, and try to restrain her. They walked out of the Tailor's storefront, and Thalia was surprised by the sheer number of people, now that the midday heat was starting to seize, the beauty of the kingdom was really revealed. There were booths selling funny smelling foods, stores selling all kinds of amazing things, houses that were really tall, and so many things Thalia couldn't help but be amazed by the craftsmanship of the city. She looked to Amaria "Where do you want to go first?" She got very excited, and looked towards her guards for guidance.
--
Lydia jumped in surprise as a woman as beautiful as this one spoke to her. "H-hello" She replied, trying not to look mischievous. Her boots were covered in mud, and they were stolen from the shop as well. Maybe the woman needed a maid she wondered.

Amaria looked around at everything, it was amazing. The footman spoke up for the guards and, she assumed, the guards were not allowed to speak freely to them, "Might I suggest getting something to eat while you look through the stalls? Honey cornbread or Venison cubes are favored among the aristocracy." Amaria looked at Thalia for approval, already thinking of the juicy meat or what honey cornbread might taste like. In the forest (though there were other forests, the 'cursed' forest is commonly referred to namelessly) they ate dear, rabbit and sometimes fish from the river, but honey, corn, spices and other forms of meat weren't very common, at least not in their village. -- Kyra gave a smile, her full, coral lips turning up at Lydia's reply. "Would you mind if I walked with you?" She asked, her deep brown eyes were friendly and had a russet tinge to them. Her dark, chestnut brown hair fell in bunches of this, looks curls which swayed slightly as Kyra made her way over to stand beside the older woman.

Thalia nodded to Amaria, assuming she would run off, but she wanted to talk to the footman "What's honey cornbread? and do these two people not talk?" She paused "there's a person in... where i come from who's mute, are they like that?"
---
"You can walk with me, but i don't know where i'm going" Lydia noticed her dry cracking voice, in comparison to this woman's honey sweet one. She realized that she sticks out like a sore thumb in this kingdom. She had a scar that stretched from her left eye all the way down her cheek, more scars on her back and arms that were still tender to the touch, she had two different colored eyes, and she was extremely skinny. Prisoners who caused as much trouble as her only got one meal a day, dinner. Speaking of, she hadn't eaten at all that day "Would you like to find somewhere to eat?" She tried her best to act polite.

"Okay, so where do we find 'Honey Cornbread'" She laughed at the thought, Corn in bread? what will they think of next? "Will the guards talk if i ask them?" Thalia wanted to know who these people were if she was going to trust them with her life. They were entering an area with many stalls that all had a person behind them trying to sell one thing or another.
--
"That sounds wonderful" said Lydia to the Kyra simply, then following Kyra down the cobblestone street lined with little shops and cafes.

Ace walked into the tailor's shop, he had just ripped his green jacket while hunting, and needed it fixed. He had a mop of dirty blonde hair and dark brown eyes. He wore a gray shirt under his ripped jacket and wore black pants. He was obviously a hunter. He wore a bow that was un-strung on his back, as well as having a quiver of arrows which seemed to be hand made. He forked over two copper pieces to the tailor, and sat in one of the waiting chairs as his jacket was mended. He had a certain look about him that made him seem like trouble.

Lydia sat in the chair across from Kyra, and shortly after a waitress came over. She wore an apron and a wide pastel yellow bell shaped dress. "What can i get you two ladies today?" She asked kindly.
---
"Honey" Said Thalia after Amaria, she liked honey from the few times her village had it, and didn't like many types of berries. "Thank you, in advance" Thalia's voice sounded exotic and low in comparison to most people in Luhtengard. She liked most people here, and didn't realize why Imorela would go to war with this nice place.
