Due to the fact that Dorian only ever showed one eye (or rather, only had one eye and only showed that part of her face) it was always quite obvious when she was staring, so the master did her damndest to keep her line of vision away from Isis' cleavage. It was a difficult task, she'd admit, but there were currently children present, and she wasn't about to just leer. Even if she wanted to. "I'd want to keep you in arm's length so I know you aren't destroying something." She corrected, gently reprimanding her with a light bop to her head with the end of her Crook. "And I find that hard to believe. You really never did anything morally ambiguous? Before you came to Yellow Moon you were a model citizen?" She turned away from the board briefly, wanting to see where this conversation went. She'd always wondered about Isis' background, but never pried, it wasn't any of her business. Had she actually been raised by a dragon? If so, what had happened to it? They were questions the other women would bring up herself, if she saw fit, so for now, Dorian gave a playful shrug, "Even I've done things I shouldn't have. Years ago, of course, before I became a pillar of society."

Isis reached up to rub her head when Dorian bopped her with her crook, pouting a bit. "If you say so." She then crossed her arms once again, smirking. "I never did anything illegal before I joined this guild. I didn't want to get thrown in jail the second I got here after all. I waited until I was with Yellow Moon before I did anything questionable. So there." She was telling the full truth for once. She felt no need to embellish or twist the truth for this. She was quite proud of her upstanding status before joining the guild. Not a single building destroyed, no laws broken. "I mean, unless you count walking around looking like this a crime." She winked once more at that. Back home, being this scantily dressed was normal. After all, living in the desert meant it was hot. All the time. And at night they stayed in nice, cozy tents. So the sudden cold of the night didn't really affect them much.

Helios spent an hour and a half strolling the smaller city, grabbing a hot drink from a local shop, and half heartedly browsing a magic shop he saw along the way. He felt bad about leaving a blind girl by herself in a foreign city, but she needed to learn a lesson. God, that sounded bad. "Shi*, I'm a bad person." Going back to where he saw Lila last, he started calling her name, looking for her blue hair in the sea of people. Lila was sitting at a bench, enjoying the breeze. It had been a while since she last had nothing but the company of her own mind and she liked it that way. But at the same time her thoughts kept wandering to how bad she felt about how she treated Helios, and at the same time how frustrated she was with him.

Emilias finger tips sparked. She pressed her palm against his chest and sent electricity into him, making sure to carefully control her magic so she didn't completely fry him. He may be a criminal but she would have felt pretty bad if she accidently stopped his heart or something. That wasn't even close to being her goal

Rowland watched as he cleaned and cleared his rifle, mesmerized at the smooth movements. It was almost relaxing, like watching a river flow. "Have you ever done jobs with others?" They wondered. Never going a job with another mage seems like a pretty big hurtle one would eventually have to cross. How do they know how they work with others?! "I think I've only taken one or two jobs by myself. It's much too dangerous to be alone!"
It took longer than Helios would have liked, but he finally found his partner. It was a strange moment. He expected to find her looking horrified, lost, and scared. Surprisingly, she appeared the exact opposite. The most peaceful he had seen her since they met early that day. He almost felt bad for walking over and disrupting her. "Okay. I'm sorry for being an a**. Are you ready to catch the bus?"

Sorry I'm about to go to bed >.<))
Lila's peaceful face vanished almost instantly when Helios came back, being replaced with her usual irritated one. But she was somewhat happy...no relieved that he came back. Otherwise she had no idea how she was going to find the bus station on her own. "I expect I should apologize too." It's not his fault he's a fire mage, she tried to reason with herself and failed. "Alright lets go." She stood up and stretched how she always did with her arms reached up to the sky

hey everyone ~ I'm going to be going away on holiday for a week this saturday and I might get on every now and again, but it's a road trip so that's unlikely. While I'm gone, I just wanted to say that Scorch, if you wouldn't mind being in charge, that'd be a huge help. I know you're reliable and all ~ if anyone new joins, just make sure they follow the rules with their form. Also, if you get really bored waiting for me to come back and can't rp bc you're out of characters, it's fine if you want to just let what we were doing go, I don't mind)
As the criminal jolted awake, Manus gently tapped his cheek with one hand, "Hey. Heeeeey, wake up buddy." He wasn't exactly the most sympathetic person to be around, but he was trying his best right now to not knock the guy out again, "Don't worry you're not dead, just in a lot of pain, I suppose." Thankfully this alleyway was deserted, and all the people on the street were too busy looking at the damage to think of searching for the person who'd done it.
"A crime against fashion, perhaps." She knew she was on thin ice, as fashion wasn't exactly her strong suit, but the word play was too clever to miss out on. "What about this job?" She asked, pointing to a lavender sheet, "The next town over has a Vulcan problem in the mountains, that's right up your street. Just show up, rough them up a little, take your pay and go. And you could do it alone, if you so please. I doubt you could destroy a mountain." Could she? It was a small mountain after all. Still she was the Sand Dragon Slayer, not the Cavern, it wasn't like she could control the earth. Though if she put her mind to it, maybe. The girl had a penchant for destruction, something Dorian could relate to. "And it's not so far; you could be there and back again in two days, if you're fast." It'd be slower if she went by the river passes, but the only people who took those were the ones afraid of being mugged, and Dorian had a sneaky feeling that Isis was not.
Khione was out the door and into the sunlight as quickly as she could. Maybe it was odd for the snow mage to covet the warmth of the summer, but she didn't care, even doing a little cartwheel on the soft grass. It was one of the first tricks she'd learnt in in the circus, and it went in tandem with walking on her hands, which she proceeded to do as well. "We're better taking some of the forest paths," She called, watching the whole world hang upside down like a bat, "It's not in town, it's one of the farms further out west." The great thing about living so far up a mountain was that you could see everything below you really easily. Sometimes the latitude made her ears pop, or her stomach feel sick in the morning, but she was getting more used to it every day. Her long braid bent under the influence of gravity and flopped over the back of her skull, trailing onto the grass before her face, "Have you ever been to any of those farms before?" She'd been to one, once, a few years ago, just on a message (to repay the farmer on behalf of the guild for the damage to his property that had occurred during some mages returning home from a job), "It's nice out there."

"Sorry," Emilia said sheepishly, before pausing. "Wait, no I'm actually not sorry. Anyone who steals from a poor old man is a lot worse than scum. You're lucky you got away with only being unconscious." The best way to gain Emilia's caring was to offer her food, something the old man had done, and in return she would fight an entire army to defend him
Alright, have fun!! ^.^))

Alrighty Sappho. I'll be at work all day for the next four days, so I won't be around much. I work from Thursday to Sunday. But once I get home I'll do my best to keep everything in order. Same goes for next week. Enjoy your vacation though!))
Isis would have said something about the crack at her, but she let it slide when she saw the job Dorian was holding. A bunch of stupid Vulcans didn't stand a chance against her. Still, it was better than nothing. Beating them up would be a simple task. "Beating up on a couple of Vulcans works for me. You sure you don't want to send someone with me? I could use the company." She wouldn't mind having someone to talk to. Though she had come to a decision. She was going to put all her focus on flirting with the master until she got a hard stop from her. After all, the master hadn't said a word about flirting with her. She was just rolling with it. She wanted to see how far she could get before the master stopped her. After all, she knew it wouldn't get anywhere. The master was far too professional to actually let anything happen between them. So she would have some fun until it got to far.
Nova wasn't as excited as Khione, so she just walked out of the guild normally. She was smiling though, thinking it was kind of funny how hyper and excited the other girl was. She wasn't exactly the kind of person who got to Khione's level of excited. She held her hands behind her back, listening to the snow mage go from one sentence to the next. She knew her way around the area quite well now. She'd been around a bit longer than Khione, by a year, maybe two. Plus she'd had Columba go around the area and map it out. The spirit then explained it to her, which gave her an advantage. So she agreed with Khione's decision to take forest paths. Plus they were a bit safer. Even if they weren't, a call to Draco would be good enough to handle normal bandits. At least she hoped so. She shook her head when she was asked about being at one of the farms before. She couldn't remember being to one specifically at least.

Cyprus was looking closely at one of the parts of his rifle when Rowland spoke. He was checking for damage, in case he needed to replace it. When he was satisfied, he lowered it. "I have done jobs with other mages before. Everyone has at least once. Never had a team though. I prefer going solo on hunts. Makes it a bit easier when I only need to think about myself and my target." He looked over at his fellow S-Class. "You should try doing S-Class jobs on your own. After all, if you don't, how are you supposed to prove to the master that you should keep your title?"

Adelaide was drawing on paper, for once. She sat alone in a corner of the mess hall, paints spread out on the table in front of her. Sometimes she just drew, even if she wasn’t coming up with a spell idea. So far, the image was still fairly sketchy- a human figure, standing on some sort of object. Adelaide was completely absorbed in her work, crouching over it as she worked. ---------- Sora lounged on a tree branch, casually picking dirt out from under her nails. Not much had been happening today, and she was already getting bored of just sitting here. Sighing, she flipped her ponytail over her shoulder, tilting her head back to look up at the forest canopy. She could only faintly see the sun through the leaves, sending pale beams of light cascading down around her. The air was still around her, even as she watched the leaves above her away slightly. I wish I could get out of here, Sora thought. It's suffocating me.---------- (Sorry for awful starters. My muse has been at an all time low lately Still working on the other two)

The guy started to come to, so Manus leaned back on his heels, but didn't go all the way to the ground. It was filthy in here, and he wasn't about to get his best trousers dirty with alley slime. That stuff never came out. "Good, you're up. What can you tell us about these robberies?" To be honest, he was getting a little excited. This had seemed pretty standard at the start, but the longer they hung around, the more puzzle pieces came into action.
She paused, and considered her options. Dorian didn't like just sending someone one anywhere - for all of her newfound confidence with the job, she was still the shy girl who hung on the fringes. Giving orders was an absolute last resort for her. The tone of Guild was mainly 'do your jobs properly and try not to break anything too expensive whilst you do it', with the Master sort of in the background, quietly keeping tabs on everything. It'd been a long time since she'd been given an order herself too, not since she'd made S-Class, if memory served her correctly. The recovery therapy she'd gone to after losing her eye didn't count, not to her. That was different. This chance to get away was growing tempting. It wasn't that she wasn't glad to be back, because she really was, but even before she'd lost her eye, or became S-Class, Dorian had done her missions alone. She hadn't exactly been very popular. "I can come with you, if you want." Normally S-Class mages didn't go on regular missions, for fear of doing all the work, but Isis was no slacker; she'd want that action for herself. "It's been a very long time since I've done something like this." She tilted her head, a little nostalgic all of a sudden, "Of course, if you don't want the Guild Master 'cramping your style' that's no problem either."
Setting off down one of the forest paths, as excited as Khione was, she was relieved to see that it was mainly flat, going along the mountain rather than up it. The journey would be a whole lot longer if it was just one long climb there. "I hope I don't get any juice on my coat." She muttered, pausing and then shrugging it off, "I got barbeque sauce on it once, and it was hell. I was scared it was going to stain forever, but then I remembered I lived in a magic guild, and, well, life found a way." She stuffed her coat into her backpack, enjoying the rare breeze around her body. She didn't take her coat off much, but not she was enjoying feeling the sunlight through the branches on her shoulders. It was warm enough to go without, and anyway, Khione didn't really feel the cold like other people did. Hanging out with Nova meant doing most of the talking herself a lot of the time, but that was OK, because Khione typically had a lot to say about everything, "I've never been blackberry picking before. I went apple picking once, but that actually weren't mean to be doing that because they weren't our trees, so I don't think it counts." She admitted, grimacing a little.

"I got nothing to do with it." He went for the instant and obvious denial. Emilia snorted out a laugh and he glared at her with cold eyes, only dropping his gaze when the air around her started to buzz with electricity. Guilty was written all over his face, clearer than the sun in the sky, but he wouldn't give in so easily

Isis blinked in surprise, her mouth hanging open a bit as well. She definitely hadn't been expecting that. Since when did the Guild Master join their mages on a job? That didn't seem normal. Then again, this was the perfect opportunity to learn more about Dorian and flirt like crazy. Her surprised look turned into a wide, excited grin. "Are you kidding me?! I'd love for you to accompany me, master!" She clapped her hands together a couple times, excitement bubbling over inside of her. This was going to be awesome. "Let's get going! There's no time to waste!" She then realized that Dorian had just got back from a long trip, and did something that she rarely did. "Unless, you know, you need to rest some. You just got home after all." She was trying to think of Dorian a little bit, and her needs.
Nova had no idea how to react, since even if she could respond, Khione wouldn't give her a chance. She just listened, keeping an eye an ear on their surroundings. She might as well keep an eye out for bandits. They were the perfect targets after all. Two young girls without any supervision. At least they wouldn't expect her to summon Draco to kick their butts. She'd love to see the look on someone's face when a little girl suddenly summoned a dragon. They would immediately regret their decision. She smiled a bit at the thought. She didn't let this distract her though. She didn't want to get caught off guard after all. It would be hard to be that impressive if she couldn't even react.

Helios ignored the fact that she didn't actually apologize. At least she knew that she needed to say it. "The crowds dying down a bit, now that the evening rush is over. You can grab my bag strap; we don't have to rush to the bus stop." He offered an alternative to grabbing her hand, as his touch repulsed her, almost frightened her.
"I have been on a few solo jobs." Rowland pointed out, lifting up a pale finger as though to literally point out how he was wrong. Granted, the angel magic user didn't go on very many solo missions because of the drawbacks of their powers. If somehow they encountered a foe stronger than one of their angels, they would fall, horribly wounded without taking a blow. They would die for sure. That's not even mentioning the fact that each cast shortens Rowland's lifespan; a fact they have told no one other than immediate family. "I'm not as physically strong as you. I can't go alone on S-Class jobs, not really." It was a strange position to be in, having magic so powerful, but having to deal with the severe drawbacks on a weak body.

Lila reached out for his backpack, not entirely sure how far up ahead Helios was since there was other noise around. She missed the strap, accidently grabbing his shoulder. "Sorry!" She blurted, quickly snapping her hand back to her side before she even realized she said she was sorry without a moments hesitation

"Ok, you can stop lying, I live for lying, I can see it a mile away. PLus, my friend here has an excellent nose, and she says you smell an awful lot like those creepy guys hanging around the shop that gets robbed every second day. So start talking." Normally, he'd start slwoly tightening the chains, but right now, after being hit by Emilia, Manus didn't think this guy ended anymore pain. Better to just let him sit there and ache in peace.
Isis' enthused reaction made Dorian smile, and brought around a funny feeling his her stomach. Not a bad one, just odd. She wasn't used to feeling it, but it felt nice to see how excited Isis got at the prospect of spending time with her. For a second, she wasn't sure what to say, but she gave her head a little shake and cleared her throat, suddenly self conscious for some reason. Truth be told, she would've liked to have waited a bit, but the other mage's excitement buoyed her mood and she inclined her head, "I'm fine. I could run a marathon." Dorian promised, heading for the day again. If she'd sat down earlier like she'd planned, there was no way in hell she'd be getting up again now, but she hadn't, and starting to walk again would help her stiff limp be shaken off. "Though don't think I'll be doing all of the fighting," She teased lightly, knowing full well that Isis would never pass up the chance to attack, "If anything, I'll just find a nice seat and watch you in action. I could even keep score, see who gets the most punches in." Vulcans were big and quick, tougher foes than most mages would grant them, but Yellow Moon mages tended to be particularly good at taking care of them, due to their home in the mountains. In her younger years, Dorian had normally taken care of Vulcans be simply destroying the caves they lived in, or causing rockslides down mountains, driving them out. In later years, she'd learnt how to put them to sleep with the click of her fingers, but sleep magic just wasn't as satisfying as destruction.
Khione ran out of steam after a while, and they walked on in a pleasant silence for it a bit, listening to the odd bird in a tree. She wished she could whistle back, but that skill was beyond her at the moment. Out of habit, Khione rolled her hand on her wrist, feeling the flurry of snow generate around her arm, slwoly and gently. She'd been told that, to get a better grip with her magic, to practise this whenever she could in short and concentrated bursts. It was mainly an academic exercise, but now, a tiny grin spread across her face as she packed the snow tighter and tighter. It was still fluffy and light as a feather, but rolling it into a ball made it heavier. Maybe it was unfair, to hit a friend at close range with a snowball in the middle of the summer, but that was half the reason she'd learnt magic, wasn't it? "Hey Nova." She said, turning to her friend, snowball in hand, "Catch!" It wasn't very big, and it wasn't icy, so she didn't feel so bad when she threw it, unable to help a mischievous giggle.

"My cousins. That's it, I don't know anything about what they do though." As he spoke Emilia shook her head. "Brothers." She corrected. "You guys are brothers." The mans mouth dropped, wondering what kind of freak this girl was. He struggled against the chains a bit, trying to vain to loosen them even the slightest bit. "Brothers, cousins what's the difference?" He muttered

Isis put her hands on her hips, grinning at the master. "Like I would let you fight my battles anyways." She grinned confidently. "You'll find I'll win that score hands down. I'd like to see those stupid monkeys take me on." She'd taken on quite a few Vulcans before. She'd come out on top every time. There was a reason she was so confident in herself. She didn't think she was going to need the master to help her. Not unless there were a lot of Vulcans. After all, they could overwhelm an S-Class if they had enough of them. She wasn't going to let that happen to her though. She was going to show Dorian just how powerful she was first hand. She was definitely going try out for the next S-Class test or whatever it was. She wasn't really sure what to call it.
When Khione had quieted, Nova had let her full attention turn to their surroundings. Nothing seemed to even know they were there. She was fine with that. Once they got to the farm, all they had to do was pick the blackberries and then head home. She hoped Virgo didn't mind helping them. If she did, she could try Aries. No...Aries was her strongest spirit. That would be a mean thing to do. Maybe if Virgo refused, she could ask what she thought about Aries helping. She wanted to bring one of her spirits out after all, let them stretch their legs in the human world for a bit. She was caught by surprise when Khione spoke again, looking to her. She saw the snowball just in time, raising her arm to block her face and Vulpecula. She really didn't want the spirit to be awoken by a snowball. That could be bad, since she still was a spirit. She wasn't even sure of all her powers, as the fox hadn't really talked about them in full. She liked to boast about how strong she was. After all, she had a telepathic connection to Nova, her summoner, and could change into a human form. Then again, most spirits could change their appearance.

Helios looked at her weirdly. "It's okay." He said slowly. "I don't mind being touched." While his partner may despise any physical contact, the fire mage thrived on it. Long hugs, hand holding, or even a small touch on the shoulder was a gift to him. Placing one strap in Lila's hand and shouldering the other, Helios set them off towards the bus stop. "Do you need anything?"

Until she remembered she really didn't have a choice in the matter. Then she went right back to not liking him

(Sorry!! I've been so busy)
Helios led them to the bus station, leading her up the creaking wooden steps with a warning on each step. The station was old and run down, appearing to be used very rarely, if ever at all. Helios found it strange that an isolated town would desert one of their transportation systems. Leaving Lila to purchase and check their tickets, he chat with the man behind the dingy glass, and was told that the busses out of this stop only traveled north, and they had long since stopped doing that do to...something. The man grew weary and said no more, shoving the tickets in Helios' face before drawing his marrin curtains tightly in front of his teller window. Making a face, Helios returned back to Lila just as the bus arrived. Opening his mouth to speak, he stopped as he saw the bus driver. A showdy figure with a hat drawn low, his eyes hidden, a dirty, patchy mustache, muddy clothes, and an overal suspicis aura about him. The bus driver winched as he turned his head slightly to acknowledged his passengers. Taking Lila to the back of the bus, he murmured as the vechicle lurched forward, "This makes me feel uneasy." They were the only passengers.

Lila turned her head in the direction of Helios. "Scared of going to a new town?" She grinned coldly at him, meaning it as a harmless teasing. She could tell the bus was really quiet, and figured it was only them and the driver currently there. But she dismissed it, despite how busy every other part of town seemed to be

Cyprus sighed softly. "Which is exactly why a mission with me would make you realize what I'm talking about when I say you wouldn't make it. I would leave you in the dust." He started to put the pieces of his rifle back together. "Besides. I enjoy working alone. Less distractions. It's easier to hit a target when no one is talking to me, or attacking the same target I am." He glanced at Rowland now. "Not all mages work well on teams. I'm one of those. We can work on teams, but not to the best of our abilities. Trust me. It's better this way."
