(aight i got it)
Odette gave a pitying smile, glad the girl couldn't see it; she would've frozen her solid. "There's a job in a city a day or so journey form here. A train line could take you straight to it." She offered a bi of directional advice. "The job is...vague, to say the least, but it looks like it's asking for elemental mages more than anything. Rated easy enough, though. Sound like your gig?"

Lila thought for a second. She wasn't sure on going that far on her own, to an unfamiliar place. But, her nearly empty pockets called out louder than common sense. "I guess I'll take it. Thanks." She got to her feet, raising her arms above her head in a long stretch
Why do I always make my charries broke?😂 next time I'm gonna have to make someone who's loaded))

(honestly i have a rich character i think and its lit)
"Hold up, short stop." Odette placed two hands on the young mage's shoulders. "You think I'm letting a blind teenage go to an unfamiliar town on her own? You must think I'm a monster." She retracted her hands, crossing them over her chest, bells twinkling softly. "I asked another young elemental mage to go with you. He's new to the guild, so you don't really know him, but I trust him on a job. That okay?"

Lol))
Lila sighed. "I suppose even if I say I don't need help, you're going to force me anyway?" She secretly appreciated the move, even though she would never admit it. Odette seemed nice enough Lila was glad to have someone looking out for her. Even though she would never admit that either

"I'm absolutely going to force you. I can't have the whole guild thinking I'm irresponsible, can I?" Odette threw up her hands and placed them on her back, looking down at the younger girl. "Plus, I lost a bet. I swear that punk hustled me." She grumbled the last bit. "Anyways, I told him to wait out front. He's packed and ready, waiting on you." She winked, then waited a moment before exclaiming. "Oh! I winked, by the way, you just didn't see it." And with that the dancer walked off to another friend in the guild, the faint chatter of her bells signaling her exit.

Stifling a laugh, Lila shook her head and left the guild. She had been blind long enough to be able to walk with some level of confidence and the more familiar and area was to her, the easier it was to even run through. She couldn't obviously see the boy waiting, but she could sense the magic coming off of him. A very familiar feeling of magic, not someone she knew, but a magic she knew all too well. "Fire mage." She practically spat out the words

Helios had been leaning against the wall, casually watching the people, and smoking. Extinguishing the cigarette, he righted himself with an attempted smile, though his eyebrows were creased. "I'm assuming you're talking to me?" He asked, a hand on his chest. "I suppose you're the Ice Mage I was set to go on a job with?" Helios made a note to hustle Odette for more money, as he could see this girl was NOT going to warm up to him; it was practically impossible for ice mages. "C'mon, lets not be nasty to each other. I'm Helios Dyer."

Lila stared at him with murderous intent. "I didn't ask for your name, fire mage. Lets just do this job and get home." She suddenly felt like running back inside the guild and cursing Odette. But she held her tongue and instead walked past him without a second glance. Not like it would have mattered, considering she couldn't see him

Helios was deeply offended now. Quickly picking up his bag and adjusting his cloak, he fell into step beside her. "Man, Ice Queen, can you at least give me a hint on why you hate me?" He asked, putting some charm into his voice in hopes that she would come around. He at least wanted to know what he did! "Our train leaves soon, though, so lets at least get there quickly." Knowing she was blind, even without the tip from Odette, he grabbed her hand. "C'mon, I'll lead you." He mumbled.

Lila's eyes narrowed. Heat rolled off his hand, seeping into her icy one. "You have about three seconds to let go of me before I freeze you into a solid block of ice." She hissed, her entire body rigid. The train whistle blew off in the distance. "I've lived here long enough to know my way around and even if I didn't, I have no need for your hell."

Helios groaned in frustration. "No. It'll be faster. I can take whatever 'ice' you throw at me." He retorted, picking up speed as the whistle echoed through the cobblestones. "You can be all mad at me- watch that step down- after we're on the only train that leaves for that town in three days." Helios' long hair was getting tangled from the wind, and his cloak billowed behind them.

Lila hopped down the step to avoid tripping. "Oh thanks" The words left her mouth before she had a chance to stop them. "But I knew they were there..." She mumbled, irritated. Her initial anger subsided to a genuine discontent at being in such close proximity to Helios. It was starting to make her uncomfortable

Helios cracked a wide smirk. "Some kind words! They're soothing to my ears." He joked, and then remained silent for the rest of the little jog. Finally arriving at the train station, he let go of her hand, catching his breath. "Okay. We made it." The whistle that signaled final boarding rang out; a deafening, taunting sound.

silvermoonblaze Manus rolled his eyes skyward and hissed through gritted teeth, "I meant, do you see anything interesting?" That girl needed to get her hands on some food stat, before she simply passed out at the idea of eating. At her sudden change in mood, he snapped out of his brief annoyance, "What is it?" He knew that, theoretically, Dragon Slayers had enhanced senses, but it was bizarre to actually be standing next to someone when they were using them. ScorchR Dorian turned her head slightly, glad Cyprus hadn't come up on her blind side, "Hello Cyprus, I could ask you the same thing." Whilst she was glad to have such diligent S-Class Mages, she never knew quite where she stood with Cyprus. If she ever saw him even smile or frown, she'd have to assume he was dying. Now, no one understood more then the Guild Master the need for privacy, and how some people just didn't feel the need to express their emotions openly, but she still felt it was her duty to get to know the southern mage even a little bit. The fact that he'd started the conversation was something, she supposed, but he was apathetic, not shy. "Did your job go smoothly?" She hoped she wasn't too obviously avoiding talking about her own trip, but she'd been travelling for days and had very little to report. The council voiced some concern over rumors of a growing Dark Guild in the west, and Dorian had promised to investigate anything she heard, but she doubted it would reach so far north so quickly. All the same, she'd have to talk to some of her senior mages, ask them to keep their ears to the ground, as she herself heard very little gossip first hand. She half missed the days where, like Cyprus, she was leaving town to go hunt down a monster. Far less small talk. Farrell's mood picked up a little when he saw Nova come in. She was a cute kid. He felt a little bit bad for her, not being able to speak, but he shook that pity off. Mages didn't pity other mages; they respected them, "Good morning Star Burst." He smiled, reaching for a glass and filling it up with milk. Typical that his first drink of the day to make would be nonalcoholic. Just typical. All the same, he placed one of those little umbrellas in it, and slid it to the young girl. "Sleep well?" Seeing young kids in this guild make his heart ache a little, because what the hell had happened to them so earlier on that made them alone? He knew Khione came from the circus, Farrell defied anyone to not know where she came from, she never stopped talking, but Nova was a bit of a mystery to him. He guessed the Guild Master knew, and normally, he'd use this opportunity to go prying, but it didn't feel right snooping about a little girl's life, so he left it alone. Khione had looked up from her end of the bar, lead smudged on her face from where she'd been leaning on a dirty hand, "Hey, Nova, are you any good at math?" It was worth a shot after all (you would be surprised how few mages bothered with math). Without waiting for an answer, she gathered up her book and sheets, hopped off her stool, hurried over to beside the other girl, and settled herself down.

"That person who just came in," Emilia kept her head in the same direction, only briefly flashed her eyes in the direction of the newcomer. "He smells weird...kinda similar to the cloaked guy out front." There was a boy who looked to be in his 20s who was heading for the register. Except for Emilia, Manus, and the old man, the shop was empty
The train wasn't a mode of transportation Lila took often since she didn't leave town often. Her slowly put a foot out, feeling around until it connected with a step and she climbed up them onto the train. "Come on fire mage." She said coldly, sitting on a surprisingly comfortable seat
Dang that drawing was awesome!!))

Manus nodded ever so slightly, "You go round the left, I'll go right. Let's see what he's saying." and walked away from Emilia, trying to keep himself looking natural. It was hard to look interested in the price of free-range eggs (they were half price until Friday) when he was also trying to scope up the man who'd just walked in. Still, this was a better suit for him then obs that just involved fighting, so he tried not to be ungrateful. The guy didn't look to be armed, but it was impossible to tell if he knew magic.

Emilia lazily brushed her hair back behind her ear so she could hear better as she walked casually got a little closer. "I can't do that!" The old man said, shaking his head, clearly annoyed. He cast a sideways glance at the two wizards. The boy whispered something that Emilia just barely caught. She slipped back to her partners side. "We got trouble"

Cyprus was careful about coming up on the master's blind side. They shared it after all, neither of them having sight on their right side. He knew exactly how she felt about people being there, since he felt the same. He didn't mind putting those he trusted or respected there. He knew the master wouldn't attack his blind side. He did note that she avoided talking about her own trip, but thought nothing of it. That just meant it had been a boring business trip. He wouldn't pry. "The monster was tougher than I thought, and it refused to sit still. Took a month longer to kill it than I thought it would. Another town was destroyed because of that, but luckily they evacuated everyone thanks to my warning I sent them." He still didn't feel like he'd won though. He'd taken the job to kill the monster and stop its rampage. Since he'd attacked it, it hadn't gone after town for the most part. Near the end though, it probably felt it had nothing left to lose. It had died in the rubble of the town it had destroyed. "I'll have to kill the next one faster."
Nova smiled and nodded to Farrell when he asked about her sleeping well. She tended to nowadays. She felt safe enough here to not have nightmares about her past. She still did occasionally, but not often enough to dictate being sad or dragging other people into her problems. She caught her drink and lifted it to her lips to sip it. Nice and cold, just the way she liked it. The only thing she liked more than this was chocolate milk, but that was slightly harder to get and more expensive in the long run. She was fine with regular milk though, it tasted just as good. She blinked as Khione spoke up and looked towards her. At he question of math, she shrugged a bit. After what had happened, she hadn't stayed in school. Well, school had been private tutors, and she'd been much farther ahead than other kids her age. She technically didn't need it anymore. Still, she figured the Guild Master would have her go to school to see where she was, and if she really did need to keep going. When Khione approached her and sat next to her, she blinked in surprise. She certainly hadn't expected the skull-wearing girl to come over to her.

I'm trying to organize things to do on our holidays this year and everything,,, costs money i have £0.50 and some lint time to google for free attractions)
"Alright then," At last, something to do, "Why don't we make ourselves known to the good sir?" In the same way he'd held open the door, Manus waved his arm in a wide arch, "After you." He liked to think he was a good mage, and a decent fighter, but he knew his limits, and he also knew that there were few things more impressive than a dragon slayer, so maybe Emilia should front this one.
"That's the thing about monsters," She shook her head in mock maudlin, "They are just so inconsiderate. Even the talking ones." In her heyday, most of Dorian's jobs were the ones that were easiest for her - demolition. Old schools, or churches, or ships: she used to travel all over the place crushing structures for half the price of a demo crew with a machine. It had been fun. It was half the reason she was a great mage by the time she was twenty, but a terrible fighter. In her laziness, she hadn't taken on trying jobs until after she'd lost her eye and decided to step up her game. When she'd started taking on jobs involving other creatures, it had been a shock to her how loud they were. "I'm sure you did fine, and the townspeople were just glad to see that creature gone." The path got steeper and the town died away completely, leaving only pine trees on the side of the path as the top of the golden domes of the Guild got closer, "Did I miss anything?" She put more weight on the Shepherd's Crook, "I was a bit reluctant to be gone for a week." Every day could've been the day a messenger came to her and told her Yellow Moon had been destroyed in some freak accident, though she'd always assumed that if someone were to accidentally topple the place, it'd be her.
Khione shifted closer, swirling a little on the bar stool, "Y'see, I've been doing this question for ages now and I just feel like I'm missing a number or something, because the answer is way too small. Who builds a house that's half a metre tall?" She sighed in exasperation, throwing her hands into the air. The plan had been to finish this work early, and spend the lovely day outdoors, but here she was, hours later, still inside. She'd thought about doing it outdoors, but that was just a distraction waiting to happen. Life in the Guild was good, it was brilliant actually, but beforehand, she never had to do schoolwork. She could barely read two years ago, and yes, that wasn't a good thing, and education was a blessing and all that jazz, and she'd been excited to start, but no one ever warned her how dull arithmetic could be. It was one of those math questions with a super long paragraph explaining the situation too, and she hated that because that was reading AND math, and they should be kept separate forever. "You don't happen to have a magic key that specializes in equations, do you?" It was worth a shot. Celestial magic was so fascinating, and the keys were really pretty. Khione was a little bit jealous of that cute fox Nova had, if she was being honest, did the fox know anything about sums? Foxes were meant to be clever, right? That's what the stories said anyway.

(Omg thanks :,) I'd love you to put it on the front page omg!!)
Helios followed behind her, wearily watching to make sure she didn't trip and eat the floor. It was strange being around the ice mage. He didn't care that their elements were polar opposites, but she sure did, and it was just so confusing to him. Sliding his bag off his shoulder, he put it on the rack up top, grabbing Lila's bag and doing the same. Finally settling down in a seat with a sigh, he remained silent for around five minutes before inquiring, "You haven't told me your name yet."

Cyprus's lips turned up at the corners ever so slightly. It would take someone paying close attention to notice them. And just as fast as it appeared, it was gone. Cyprus did feel a bit more relaxed around the Guild Master. He didn't know why. Maybe it was the power she gave off, the fact that she could beat him with a flick of her finger. He didn't feel he needed to be on edge around her. Oh well. When she asked about missing something, he shrugged. "Wouldn't know. I only got back today. I was heading back to the guild myself when I spotted you." He turned his head, needing to do more than a normal person so he could see her with his one good eye. "You know a lot more than I do." He was already thinking about his next job, the next hunt. He specialized in hunting down monsters, since that was basically how he'd grown up. He wasn't really the type of guy to help people in their restaurant, or find a lost item. Didn't exactly interest him.
Nova looked over at the question on the paper and tilted her head a little bit. She couldn't really give a straight answer right off the bat. She'd need to do the actual math on the paper. She could see why the other girl was having such a problem. "Vulpe, time to wake up," she said through the mind-link she had with the fox spirit. The little fox yawned, blinking her eyes open. "What are you waking me up for?" she asked tiredly through the link. Nova smiled a little as the spirit started to wake up. She hoped she wasn't grouchy. "Khione is having some trouble with a math question. I figured since you're so clever, you could figure it out in a couple of seconds," replied Nova, trying to butter up the fox in hopes of getting her to agree. It was probably cause she was still waking up, but it totally worked. "Alright," said the fox aloud, hopping off of Nova's shoulders onto the bar. "What kind of question are we talking about here?"
