This is a little survey to see what people like to read here in Fanfiction. I thought the answers might help me with my writing, and possibly some other people as well. I also thought it may help us authors to appeal a bit more to our audience. Please answer honestly, and thank you for your time.
1. What POV do you prefer to read in general?
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two.
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions?
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change?
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story?
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones?
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones?
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones?
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general?
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how?
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one?
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls?
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story)
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3)

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? I prefer reading the POVs of the most intriguing characters, the ones that are mysterious. A lot of times, I will want two characters telling the story from different places. 2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. Fiction. Fan Fiction
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? So many typos. It just get under my skin. 4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? I don't really have one of these. 5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? Really important. It's not worth reading if it doesn't have good grammar. 6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? I (Mint, Bloodysnow, don't hate me) hate the prefix hickory, bloody, Blood, Bone, Boulder 7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? Willow, Silver, Moon, Owl (DUH) 8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? Very long ones. I have lots of time in my day to waste. 9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? I think it depends on what the story is. Maybe 20? 10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? Not necessarily, it just gives me more of an urge to read it, which I don't always follow through on. 11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? Sometimes. If it's a friend, absolutely. 12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? Yes, I love doing these. 13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) Not very often. Occasionally, there will be an author where I just do it. 14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) Curse, New Blood (phantom), either What is the Sound of Peace or Where Smoke + Fire Follows

I'll answer, too, because why not?
1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? Third person, doesn't matter beyond that.
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. For fanfiction, it's drama and tragedy.
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? Typos. Mistakes happen, but if there are a lot of them then there's a problem.
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? The main character always has a prophecy about them.
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? Extremely important. I don't mind helping with correcting grammar to make a story better, but it still annoys me how grammar can sometimes be so bad.
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? Maggot, Boulder, Pale, Bird, Nose, and Otter. Also, anything more than two syllables
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? Rain, Whisker, Flame, Mist(as a suffix only), Heart.
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? Honestly, it depends completely on the story itself.
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? Maybe around 25, depending on the story.
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? Nope, but they are always really nice to see.
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? Not really. I'll try to read friends' stuff, but as long as the story and grammar are good, and I'm in the reading mood then who the author is doesn't matter.
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? Yep! They're always fun to do and a good tool for having your readers interact with the story.
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) Never really. If I read a fanfic, I almost always post something to let them know what I thought.
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) New Blood: Born of Smoke and fire, Ranen's Song, and When the Earth Shook.

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? Third and first person are tied. I have to say that when the story is told like it's happening in that second it drives me nuts. (Example: moved/moving are fine moves not so much) I've noticed this only happens when the person isn't used to writing in that POV. They will switch every now and then to past tense and then back and I lose my mind. x.x I love when it is the POV of the 'evil' or 'bad' character.2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. Fantasy and action3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? Inactivity. Trust me, anything else I can live with, but I hate to see a good fic die.4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? Um...starting the story off when the main characters are kits. It just happens a lot (I've done it a lot) and I think it would be cool to see some that start off later in their lifetime.
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? Meh. If I can read it I'm fine. But trust me, I will ask you if I can edit it later. Don't take it hard if I do or if I suggest that fixing any mistakes might be a good idea. There are a lot of forumers out there who are willing to do editing as they read. 6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? No, not really. If they work together it's all good.7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? Silvermint. From Owlmoon's story. O.O Oh my, I love that name. I'd never really seen 'mint' as a prefix before. *coughs* That aside, I like the ones that are a touch unusual, but not outside the bounds of the warriors reality. 8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? Will I get killed if I say short? It's just easier to read short ones when you are reading 3/4 of the WFF. If I wasn't crazy and doing that, I'd still say short, but it wouldn't win over long by much.9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? Between 20-30. A little above or below is fine, but 40 is borderline crazy (really impressive, but... O.O ) and 10 is a little small (if you can tell a story in just 10 chapters, with no lose ends, then this statement is false).10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? Not a bit. But you can bet you will be getting banner fan art from me regardless if you have one or not.11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? Nope. Actually, I kind of read newer ones before well-known, because I know that the well-known ones will get attention and fans because we've seen how awesome their work is before. I look at new authors because I want to see if they will be the next well known one. But we all know Mint reads everything, so the well-known ones get me reading their work too. Can't help it. xD12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? Heh, yeah, they are fun! I like them. Interacting with the story is cool, but I like expressing my opinion. For example: Sea! If Thrush falls in love with the med. cat I will scream! SilverstarxThrush! See. Ship polls result in me shipping...uh... -.- Everyone... I just end up shipping random cats together...13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) Eh, uh... *cough* I use 'stealth read' every now and again, but only if I don't have a chance to post right then and there. You will, however, get a like and I'll bookmark it for later. Then I'll usually post later that week. But this only happens if I'm swamped (or super behind in chapters...). I... actually do the opposite. -.- 'Stealth post'. I post to chat while I am major behind in reading and ask to be a fan. I try to make it as clear as possible that I've only just started or it's taking me longer than usual to catch up in the story. Uh... yeah, I really hate that I do that too. -_-14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) Sea! You are killing me! x.x If your doing that, I might... Uh...how to cheat...
Any fan fiction on the first three pages of the WFF. I'm sure that the number is also a multiple of three.
Alright. Fine.
*mumbles under breath* Knew the last question would kill me.

Willow, Silver, Moon, Owl (DUH) ;-; My poor Hickory child. Well, her alt name is Willowfoot.

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? generally 3rd (and past tense) but it's not a big deal 2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. uhhh I don't know 3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? -lack of interesting+consistent character development -I'm okay with a cliché plot but make it entertaining-too many main characters are just…no fun? I don't mean "grumpy" I mean "I don't want to read from this cat's POV ever again" -I'm not here for spoofs or jokes 4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? Something about the romances. I don't know what specifically. 5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? As long as I can understand it, I'm okay with mistakes, but I really would prefer people to proofread, etc. I am more likely to read a story with poor grammar than a story with lengthy purple prose, but I do have limits. 6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? As far as common ones, not really? Like…I think some people go overboard on the edge, and I've seen some names that I've disliked a lot, but if we're talking "normal" stuff it's okay. 7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? I like "frost" and "storm" as either. I guess Silver-, Pine-, and Swift- are good prefixes, and even though they're not flashy, I find myself using -step a lot. I'm sure there are others that I would put on the list, but I'm not putting too much thought into this one. 8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? Short, I guess. I have no attention span. Long chapters are sometimes better for a particular story, but I'm not really a big reader anymore. 9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? This one really depends on the story and chapter length. I know I always used to shoot for around 30, but I was just mimicking the Erins back then… 10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? Probably on some level, but I don't really pay attention to the banners. 11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? There was one popular author (can't remember who, but it might have been Tuesday? I think the first one I read was about someone named Sorrelpaw or maybe Sedgepaw) whose stories I remember actively seeking at one point, but in general I don't pay attention to the author. 12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? Yeah…back in the day I made polls for my fanfictions all the time. 13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) I lurk more than I should admit, and I almost never post. 14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3)

Can I ask why you really want Silverxthrush? How would they make a good pair? I already know what I want to do with Thrush, but I wanna also know why you ship them so hard. Because they are there...Whoops. O.O I never actually said, did I? Mostly because they're there... And no, I don't really want it. In an AU, it would be cool, but not the main story. I am just shipping Thrush seriously with No One and don't want her with anyone romantically. I can post a full and clear response why I ship SilverxThrush (in an AU) on your fic. But it probably wont be today. ^^'

*sees thread* "Let's do this!" Who am I talking to? Never mind.
1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? 3rd.
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. *when you realize people write fanfiction in genres* no clue...
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? Warriors specific: Cats with wings/powers In general: stories that are pure romance usually annoy me, using canon characters as important or frequent characters (I prefer when stories just use the universe or idea)
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? cliches... hmm... I can't think of one ahh (I remember this really common one from a different site, though. There was always a med cat with kits. XD )
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? Depends, usually I only notice if it's absolutely horrible or it's broken English.
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? anything really long (ex: Dragonflykit) or something cats wouldn't know (ex: Dragonkit or Medusakit)
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? Not really.
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? Depends.
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? Whatever it takes to get the story across without too much filler or too little development.
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? If the banners are large, I am more likely to stop reading because I can't scroll past 10 banners 1/3 the size of the screen (exaggeration). Otherwise, I usually don't care. Cover art is nice, though.
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? No. It doesn't affect anything because I literally don't care at all.
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? YES. YESYESYESYESYESYESYES
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) A lot.
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) I don't really have any, as I never really thought of it. Owlmoon's Stuck in The Middle is pretty good, though.

1. Don't care 2. Fantasy and Horror 3. Bad grammar or some random inconsistencies. Also, when they make the main character seem to have no fault and is totally perfect. 4. I wish the prophecies would be more original.... 5. Very important. I get people make mistakes, but at least get someone to proofread it! I cringe at the Prollouge or Aleggainces. 6. Hmm.. I really dislike the suffix "belly" and the prefix "mouse" for some reason. Also, I don't really like names that are ridiculously long or sound very strange. 7. I'm absolutely in love with "Breeze" and "Twig." I also like short names that flow well. 8. I prefer in the middle, but slightly to the longer side. 9. Depends on the type of story. Warriors fanfic? I'd say 19 or more. 10. The banners don't affect anything whatsoever. I won't judge a book by its cover. 11. The author sometimes affects me, but not often. I would begin to read a fanfiction by a more popular author before a newer one, but I would still read both anyways and probably enjoy them. 12. I think it's very fun with polls, but not if the question is like "Should I kill off ____?" That slightly ruins the story. 13. Oh, all the time. 14. NOOOOO. So. Hard. I have millllions. Curse, What is the Sound of Peace, and New Blood: Born of Smoke and Fire.

Ooo, I like surveys.
1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? - Third person.
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. - I like fantasy books in general, so cats with powers are cool. - I like humor books? Not really spoofs, but things that are kinda funny(makes jokes) I like.
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? - Unique names. Brownpelt is a fine name in my opinion, but Crystalhorizon looks very odd.
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? - I can't say.
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? - It is vital to have decent grammar.
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? - No, not really. But "special" ones kinda bother me.
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? - Oh yes. Beetle-, Snail-, Toad-, Juniper-, Rowan-, Berry-, Beech-, and probably more.
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? - In the middle. I prefer chapters that are around the size of the ones in the books(2000 to 3000 words).
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? - Depends on the length of chapters. The amount of chapters and the length of chapters should correlate directly. I try to make my fanfictions between 20 and 30 chapters, like the canon books.
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? - Ehh, I don't think so. I normally read fanfictions on Wattpad.
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? - Oh, that never matters to me.
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? - Half-and-half. I don't like being "ninjad"
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) - Very often. I don't have much to say, usually.
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) I'm a Wattpad reader. - Rara Avis on Wattpad is a good one. - Though I haven't finished it, Hollyfrost's Ash to Ash is pretty good.

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general?
I generally prefer reading unreliable narrator POVs. They definitely make the story more interesting, since it really involves the reader to guess at what's really happening, and to think on their own rather than just believing everything the speaker tells us. It's also so hard to pull off well though, and I also don't really enjoy badly done unreliable narrators. But I'm just picky that way lol.
Okay, I just read what others put here, and I really enjoy all POV styles, so long as they're done well lol.
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two.
Psychological and drama.
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions?
Usually bad grammar or overall inconsistencies. I also hate "lists" in creative writing, if you get what I mean.... Descriptions don't need to go forever. If you're writing five seconds in five paragraphs, then this better be an important five seconds, hahaha. I also really hate dramatic names, like Cherryblossom or Shatterheart or Brokenlife or Edgestorm or.... the list goes on? There's a lot of bad, overly melodramatic names that could've been replaced with any other name.
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change?
Hm.... I wish Firestar wouldn't be the sole driver of the Warrior series. Everything's centered around him, and I'd like Warriors to be more....fluid, in power dynamic. That's all there is though, about Warriors.
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story?
Pretty important. I can't forgive comma splices, specifically. Anything else—parallelism, agreement, other forms of punctuation, spelling (to an extent)—all are forgivable. Except for comma splices. Red is just a freak, though.
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones?
I don't like names that come from manmade things or compound words.
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones?
I love descriptive and action prefixes. For example, Bouncefire's name was a favorite of mine.
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones?
Either one is fine, so long as the chapter length makes sense in the story context and is given legitimacy by the speaker.
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general?
I mean....however many it takes to tell a story?
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how?
Nope!
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfiction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one?
I'll definitely be more attracted to a fanfiction written by somebody well known, but I'll give any fanfic a shot.
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls?
Of course!
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story)
Rarely. Especially if the work isn't popular, I'll show my appreciation. If the fanfic is popular and many of the comments are repeats of what I want to say, then I'll keep myself from posting.
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3)
I liked the fanfiction on the old forums: Jayfeather to Jay Frayther. I loved a lot of the one shots I see on here too, though I don't remember a lot of their names. Recently, I don't have time to read and keep up with entire fanfictions.

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? 3rd
2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. Adventure/Mystery
3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? Fast paced relationships that appear out of no where
4. What's one story cliche you wish would change?
5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? eh if that's an answer, as long as it's not terrible
6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? Stuff like Emerald/Rainbow/Ebony just ones that are a little weird for a warrior cat to know
7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? I love prefixes like Speckled/Dappled- and Moss/Fern- and with suffixes I really prefer them to define the character and be more about personality/ability of appearance since the prefix is usually appearance based
8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? I really prefer long ones, if they're very short I usually click out
9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? 20-30, depending on length of chapters
10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? Sometimes, if one has an amazing banner/layout I'll be more inclined to read it. Generally I don't mind too much if it doesn't have a banner
11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? Not really, I usually don't find many fanfic writers that I recognize immediately
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? Yeah! I always find that really cool, it makes the forums unique to other websites with fanfictions
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) Typically I do, but that's only because I don't have an account on half the websites I read from haha
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) I don't have one that jumps straight to mind from this website, but my favorite comic for warriors is Twin Shadows just because I know all the characters since it's using cannon ones but it takes an interesting twist on the story (and my opinion makes more believable characters)

11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? depends if I dislike the person I usually won't read their stories or if they have a rep for having poor grammar/plots other than that sure
12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? I don't like influencing plot with polls. It feels too. . . clickbait-y maybe naming minor characters or something because often we don't plan that far ahead but like naming main characters and/or plot points no don't do that
13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) rarely only if it's bad and I don't know how to say it's bad without being rude but then it's not really stealth reading it's more 'I read this first part and I can't read more cuz bad' deal
14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) ummm.... still trying to catch up to my booksale haul last fall so nothing since the forum switch?

1. What POV do you prefer to read in general? i'm fond of 3rd person stories, past or present tense, but if an author can deliver on a chilling 2nd person story, then I'm interested. the latter is extremely hard to pull off, though, so i rarely see it.2. What genres do you like reading most? You may pick two. adventure/suspense3. What annoys you most about some fanfictions? prophecies are so hard to do right, so they're usually ultra-predictable and irritating. let's stop starting stories with the characters as kits and ending them when they become great revered leaders. while we're at it, scrap the love triangles, and quit making your protagonists fall in love with the characters who treat them like dirt and never show remorse for it. all of these things drive me up the wall and make it hard to keep interest in the story because they inevitably overshadow any other characters and plot.4. What's one story cliche you wish would change? only one? in that case, stop writing amnesia stories. stop it now and forever. it's a tired trope.5. How important is grammar to you while reading a story? very. i understand some folks are writing with english as a second language, or their honing their skills with it as a first language, but there is no reason at all your story should be riddled with errors. find someone to proofread it for you. we're all into warriors fic here, so there's probably someone who might want to pair up. even if not, proofread it yourself. take your time, and if you know you've run into problems spelling a word before (or you're not sure how to spell it and you just guessed), or if you know you mix up there/their/they're (or any other set of homophones), take the time to double check. polish your work. make it something you're going to be proud of.6. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely hate? If so, which ones? all gemstones. i can't stand gemstone names. or anything manmade, or extremely long prefixes. i saw a name start with honeysuckle once. four syllables, just for your prefix? please don't.7. Are there any prefixes or suffixes that you absolutely love? If so, which ones? storm or frost (prefix or suffix), sorrel as a prefix, stone as a prefix, heart as a suffix, wing as a suffix, fang as a suffix. i'm into the traditional names, mostly.8. Do you prefer short chapters, or long ones? long ones. short ones feel choppy unless there's a single short chapter meant for suspense and a break between longer chapters. long chapters give me time to get immersed.9. What is the ideal number of chapters to a story in general? depends entirely on the story you're telling, just like word count in published works varies by genre and target audience. usually, between 15-25 chapters satisfies me, but like i said, it's entirely dependent on the story and there's no right answer.10. Do banners affect whether or not you'll read a fanfiction? If so, how? yes. a story without a banner looks like it was thrown together, and doesn't scream "commitment!" at me, while a story with a banner, even if it's not a very good one, says the author is invested in their work. they've taken the time to put together a page for their work, and true, they might abandon it (so many fics go unfinished in the end), but it shows promise. professional looking banners, of course, are always nice (don't judge a book by its cover is a load of crap anyways, because a good cover can make or break whether a book gets picked up in the end), but i understand that a banner drawn or made by someone who's not a super skilled artist is still time and effort invested toward the fic. that's important.11. Does the author affect if you'll read a fanfction? As in, would you read a fic written by a well known author over a newer one? yes. i'm likely to return to authors that i've seen deliver excellent stories before, and i'm wary of new authors because of the chance that they might not return after only getting a few chapters in. i dislike getting attached to a story and then seeing it abandoned.12. Are polls enjoyable for a story? As in, is it fun to interact with the story and author and possibly influence the story itself with polls? yes! as an author and a reader, i love polls. i love to see the fan climate and how people are reacting to a story. i don't think it should influence the story (authors, take note: write the story YOU want to write, not what other people think you should write, excluding well-meant advice and suggestions when the story needs sprucing up to remaining coherent and engaging), but there is nothing more valuable to an author than feedback. so polls are one way to give that feedback, and so is commenting. please always comment. the more thorough, the better. i promise that most people are thrilled to hear exactly why you adored a chapter instead of just "the new chapter is really good" and nothing else.13. How often do you 'stealth read?'(reading without posting to the author that you are indeed reading their story) never. if i read it, i tell the person. see above spiel on leaving comments.14. Finally, favorite fanfictions so far?(I'll be nice and let you choose 3) curse by » ѕнαdσω ⚔️, the absence of rain by eph 💕, and a lamentation of swans by ~Sapphire~. i need to catch up on some others this summer, though.tiger beetle - haha, i did write sentinel about a character named sorrelpaw, so that may be the fic you're thinking of! i think you might have even been on the fan list. i never did finish, but there's always a chance.
