While Neb signified who she was as The Doctor was listing their names, Ononoki just continued to stare blankly. Instead of a gesture of unfriendliness, or a standoffish attitude, it was merely her being stuck hopelessly outside social norms as usual. The 'should we' from Neb did catch her attention, and she offered by raising one hand again. "Kill it?" It was a jarring response from someone who... well, someone who looked like Ononoki. She slowed her steps then, and partially also because of 7S's blink. While she was assumed to be an android by the other blinkers, here was an actual android. She didn't answer the blinker's question merely because she was newer than her, and wasn't sure what would be considered normal or worth mentioning. Instead, she stood there with her hand raised, a child ready to attack an incapacitated wolf due to a complete misunderstanding on her part.

"No," said The Doctor carefully. The last time she'd seen Volt kill a wolf-creature and she was not about to see anyone do it again. "We aren't killin' it." Her voice was firm. It seemed the one thing she was really firm on, in fact. "It's wrong and we don't need to." She looked at Neb then, but suddenly there was another blinker there and this time The Doctor did jump. But only a little. She'd been about to say something to Neb, so the appearance of yet another blinker didn't come easy. "Hello," she said. "Ya sound like been here before." She once again turned to Neb, voicing her opinion on what to do with the wolf. "It looks like it's gonna wake up soon again-" at least she hoped it was and Volt hadn't fried its nerves or something. "I vote we just prepare for the worst. It can't hurt us. There are too many. But maybe we can see if it will show or do something to answer how to get out of here." She looked at the new blinkers as well - the one who seemed confused and new and the one more familiar with the House. "And ya names are?" She was trying to be friendly, but she kept looking out of the corner of her eye at Ononoki and Volt.

Volt nodded in greeting as her name was spoken, allowing the other two to do the explaining. This person was very passionate about jungles it seemed. She watched Neb return to the more human-like form, most likely her natural state, and lay the wolf on the ground. It still hadn't woken up. She was beginning to doubt it ever would. "Does it matter?" The Tenno asked in response to Ononoki's question. Would leaving it or ending it really make that much of a difference? The result for their group would be the same. She was a little surprised the girl was the one offering to do it though. Yet another voice appeared nearby and Volt turned to see who this person happened to be. Another human-appearing female had arrived, although Volt had learned not to trust first impressions. The lights embedded into her armor glittered as she tilted her head in interest. Human or not, this person had been here before.

The first thing 7S noticed was the rather colorful group of blinkers nearby, and it didn't take her long to pick up that most of them were newbies. And it looked like she'd had just missed some action, judging from the incapacitated beast on the ground. Thankfully nobody seemed hurt.
"Yeah. I have." The S type nodded in response to the Doctor as she headed over to the group. In case it was needed, Faith materialized onto her back in a poof of yellow sparks. "You can call me 7S." She followed those words with a small wave.
Since the wolf... Thing, wasn't a threat at the moment, 7S' attention was caught by the tall, robotic creature glancing at her. Before either of them had even exchanged words, the scanner was already taking internal notes about them. They were tall, a bit like Smokescreen, but other then that, were a completely different build. There was also organics mixed in with the metal, making 7S wonder if they were some kind of cyborg.

Without any sign of dejection, Ononoki lowered her arm again when the consensus seemed to be not to kill the wolf. She was still curious what would happen to it through, and her eyes followed the creature as it was decided to bring it to water. It’s wrong and we don’t need to. She really wasn’t like Kagenui. She was more like... The doll girl looked up at The Doctor, her turquoise pigtails swaying back. She decided silently to go along with what the other blinkers planned together. Besides, at least now they were helping one another rather than bickering.

"Yeah, when the plane was going down I was barely in my world long enough to tell what was going on," Arlo replied, then in a slightly irritated tone, "At the time I was glad it was happening because it meant I had a bit more time and I had the chance to say goodbye to everyone, but now..." She'd made them all think she was dead. Again. Was something else going to happen, or could she really not die? Had expecting her death somehow caused her to avoid it? Had she been wrong the whole time? Hopefully that question would be answered soon. "Partly. I've had it for ten years and I still don't know a lot about it." She stopped and for a moment it almost seemed like that was all she was going to say on the subject, but then she continued, "But there's more to it... My parents were involved in something big, and it had something to do with that island. I'm not sure what exactly, but I found some strange things in their notes... Like magic and interdimensional travel."

"If this is a morality test, The Doctor is the only one who will get to leave," Volt commented. Her tone was most jest, but there was a hint of a darker undertone. If killing things hadn't been such a big deal before, they wouldn't even be having this conversation. Regardless, Tenno made absolutely no move to pick up the wolf, instead crossing her arms and settling into a more casual stance. Offering to carry the thing would lead to her having to get close to the water. If The Doctor wanted to keep toting this thing along, she could do it.
7S? That was interesting. A name that would be more of a designation in Volt's reality. She took another moment to look the girl over, noting with interest the sudden appearance of a sword and the fact that she seemed to have a band obscuring her eyes. Maybe she had rerouted her visual elsewhere? That wasn't unheard of, especially with cyborgs. The girl seemed to be looking her over as well, might as well make an introduction. "Call me Volt. How long have you been coming here?"

"You're not wrong there," Neb agreed in a mutter, casting a quick glance in Volt's direction. But Ononoki and Volt as well seemed to not be taking the initiative to 'take care' of the wolf at least for now, so Neb was about to let her lingering guard down about the situation until the newest blinker spoke up. "We're not killing it," she said firmly, no matter if that would solve anything or not. It wasn't the right thing at this moment.
"Oh, and I'm Nebula Star." Introductions again, but thankfully nothing longer was needed this time, and she nodded in response to 7S' name. Neb then stepped back to the wolf as chatter began, crouching down to examine it carefully and look for more life signs. With much caution, she brought a hand out and pressed two fingers against the side of the wolf's neck, pursing her lips as she felt its light pulse. She supposed she'd take charge and carry it again, just as soon as they got moving once more.

The Doctor sighed deeply, exasperated, but it seemed like Neb had already handled answering the Jungle Guy's statement. Speaking of which, he hadn't seemed to notice her inquiry about his name, so she took a breath, regained her smile (it was never far and it wasn't fake), and repeated, "Things are a bit different here. What would you like to be called?" She glanced over at 7S, before nodding her head in the direction of the river. "Nice to meet ya. We were heading towards the sound of water. For now, that's our destination." She snorted a bit at Volt's words, eyes sparkling as if she'd missed the darker undertone. "I don't believe ya'd be left behind. Nor would I leave ya." Then she turned, heading off the small trail and into the trees, looking back to see if the others would follow. The sound of water quickly grew louder until the trees thinned out and left the Time Lady with the view of the river, water moving between a few rocks but not appearing swift.

Volt? That was a rather... Simple name. 7S had been expecting something more complex. Perhaps it was a nickname? It didn't matter in the end, regardless.
"Nice to meet you, Volt." The S type hummed, raising her left hand to her chest in a quick salute and giving a small bow, the latter her own twist added to the standard YoRHa greeting. Straighting back up, she tilted her head as she ran back through her memories to find an answer to the question asked to her. "Hmm. It's been about 7 months now? I started coming here about four months after my first activation."
When one of the others returned the introduction as well, 7S cast a glance at the rest of the group, subconsciously adding 'Nebula Star' to her database. Another weird name, but interesting nonetheless. At the Doctor's statement of the group's destination, the Android raised a brow and watched her leave. "Okaaay... But why exactly are we bringing that thing with us? We planning on studying it?"

She related, though, reminded now of when she feared her own death and told everyone who was around at the time. But with Arlo it seemed like it had been more certain, so final. It had actually happened in the end.
"Everyone's going to be so relieved when they get to see you again." She even glanced around to check if anyone else had blinked it yet, but it still appeared to just be the two of them. For Arlo's sake at least, Rae hoped others would start showing up.
Rae didn't know a lot in regard to Arlo's parents, not remembering being told much. "They were...killed, right?" she asked carefully, making sure she had the story right. "Do you think this research you found could be the reason?"

"Do you have a pickaxe?" Volt asked, curiously glancing at the robed guy. She would be impressed if he had somehow managed to conceal it beneath the fabric of his clothes.
The Tenno was caught a little off guard by 7S's introduction. So far, everyone had been rather casual about greetings, but this resembled the one her own kind shared. Uncrossing her arms, Volt pressed her hands together and offered a bow in return. "The same to you." Now she was very curious. "Earth months, I assume? That must seem like a long time, relatively speaking."
The Doctor's words were kind and Volt offered her a friendly shrug in response. She wasn't about to get into another debate with the Gallifreyian. She watched the woman start off into the woods for a few moments before finally starting after her, delaying as long as she could before having to follow. "I don't know anymore," the Tenno said to 7S, her tone implying she would have rolled her eyes if she could. "I think they want to dunk it in the water." As they approached, Volt stopped walking a good twenty feet away from riverbank, not taking any chances. She highly doubted the water would do anything to improve the situation with the wolf but was secretly amused by the idea of watching them try. However, there was still an element of danger. "If this goes south, we're ending it," she told the rest of the group, unhooking her swords and holding them ready at her sides.

(Sorry for the wait! ) Sherlock considered the toy in his hand for a few minutes, racking his brains to come up with a game that wasn’t competitive It was surprisingly hard to do. See who had better aim? Another fight chasing each other around? Everything he could think of involved playing against the other person. A quick glance at Myrnin’s barely masked panic told him that wasn’t going to fly, though. The kid clearly didn’t know how to play with someone else, instead of by himself or with imaginary players. “Yeah, me neither.” He said dismissively, and tossed the water gun over his shoulder as though he’d suddenly lost all interest in it. “Wanna go see what else this room has to offer?” (You're fine Hawk. <3 ) "Sure!" said Myrnin, brightening. He dropped his own water gun back in the water and trotted off in a random direction. There was just a lot of grass so far, but who knew what else was out there? "Do you live with a lotta grass?" asked Myrnin, looking back at Sherlock. "I have a bit. That's where the sheep graze." His face fell. "Or they did." But he brightened a bit later and looked back at Sherlock. "What's your home like? Is it cool? Like it? Ask me questions?" (Sorry it's short. (No worries! I...didn’t have a plan here oops. Time to wing it. ) Sherlock followed th boy, his longer legs making it easy for him to keep up without breaking stride. The grass was quite tall in some places and he could tell it was damp from the way his feet hit it. On earth he would have assumed snakes and mice roamed somewhere nearby, and the call of a bird nearby confirmed that animal life was possible in this room, so he looked down as he walked, scanning the ground for any sign of movement not caused by him or Myrnin. ”Some, yes.” The detective glanced up as the boy spoke, taking in the way his face shifted as he mentioned his sheep. That was interesting. Either they were dead or there was some reason they could no longer graze. If he simply couldn’t watch them anymore, he wouldn’t have emphasized past tense like that, possibly they’d been sold? His mouth quirked up a moment later as the smaller blinker continued, giving him the perfect opening to learn more. “Oh, I think it’s quite cool, my house has blown up several times and serial killers seem to end up there more often than one would expect, probably because I remain undefeated and a tempting challenge for them.” He answered all in one breath, somehow not stumbling over his own tongue. “I like it most of the time, although the dry spells are dreadfully boring. Less now that John’s kid is finally old enough to go places.” The last part was said almost like an afterthought, as though he hadn’t realized the daughter’s existence had made his life more interesting until just now. He moved on quickly. ”Alright, questions. Tell me a little about your world, what’s it like? What does an average day for Amico look like?”

Ononoki readily followed The Doctor, walking closer to the bank than Volt. Either she wasn’t aware of the potential danger if the wolf awoke, or she plainly didn’t care. Even though she offered to kill the creature, that wasn’t her intuition; it was only what she thought the others had wanted. She neither hoped to fight the wolf nor hoped to befriend it. But just as she stopped near the bank, Ononoki blinked out.

Knowing she wouldn't be able to carry the creature well enough as she was, Neb took in a deep breath, withholding a sigh, and once again shifted into her much bigger and stronger Alien form. She'd need a long rest after all of this was over with.
Neb followed after with the wolf still rather limply dangled from her grasp. Finally, she thought as the river came into view. "We're hoping when it wakes up we can get it to lead us to the exit," she answered 7S, almost snorting in response to Volt's wording. "Hey, whatever gets it to wake up." Though her first course of action would be gentler at least.
Reaching the bank, Neb crouched at the edge and shifted the wolf's position in her arms, tilting her head towards the Doctor. "See if you can get it to drink?" As she was, it was almost impossible to show any emotion while in this body, but Neb's back and shoulders appeared to hunch rather stiffly as she heard Volt again, though after a moment she managed to let out a sort of laugh. "Thought you said I could have the next one?" she teased. She had her own idea with what to do, though, should this plan backfire.

[[ Living Room || Arlo || dawn ]] "Yeah..." Arlo trailed off, smiling slightly at the thought of seeing everyone again. "Hopefully," she continued, half-joking, "I imagine they're getting tired of the false alarms though, I can't remember if you were there then but this is the fourth time I've died." The maze, that time Nico'd accidentally stabbed her after they'd been fighting that one blinker, the room were everyone had lost control of their powers- though she only sort of counted that one-, and now this. After the first two times coming back to life she'd started expecting something to happen in her own world. She wasn't quite sure what was going to happen now, but she was glad to be alive and back at the House. Arlo nodded to Rae's questions. "Right. At first I thought it was because I'd found this," she pointed at the arrowhead, "but I think there's more to it. They knew that island was dangerous, but they wanted to go anyway... They just didn't expect me to sneak out of the Brennan's house and get on the boat with them. Whatever they were looking for, I think they were close to finding it."

The Doctor leaned down, running her fingers through the wolf's fur before her fingers ended at its wings. She didn't look back at Volt and the clear stance she was taking. "Sure," she said to Neb. The wolf-creature had still been moving, but The Doctor knew it wasn't awake yet. Volt, however, had had a point. The water might wake it up. But she wasn't planning to drowning it or anything like that. Instead, she shifted, moving the wolf so both of its front legs and one wing was trailing in the water. It started twitching a lot more and then whimpering as if it was in bad dream. The Doctor's hand reached out, intent on steadying it in case it fell completely into the river, only for its head to jerk away at her touch and eyes to snap open. The Doctor tensed, waiting to see if it was hostile again, but the wolf seemed too dazed to really do anything. It whimpered again, wings shifting, and it tried to get to its paws only to stumble and drop to the ground again. This seemed take away all the energy it had, since it didn't attempt to stand again and instead rested on the bank. Its head turned to face everyone and its ears angled back. But it didn't growl. In fact, when it turned its head toward Volt, smelling her scent probably, its head dipped and it whimpered. The Doctor tapped her fingers against the ground, trying to get the wolf-creature's attention without actually touching it. She thought that would be a bad idea. The creature's ears angled toward her and then the head turned. When she was sure she had its attention, The Doctor tossed a small pebble into the water, indicating by noise where it was. She'd noticed something that maybe the others hadn't yet. The wolf-creature's eyes were now cloudy. It was blind. It shuffled along the ground until it reached the water, still whimpering just a little, even as it started lapping up large mouthfuls of liquid. Very slowly, The Doctor stood up, glancing at Volt, Neb, 7S, and the others. "It's female ... in case ya were wonderin' at all." Her tone sparked with discontent, but she at least seemed relieved as well that the creature was alive. "I'm not sure if we can get her to lead us outta here, but I wouldn't suggest ya get near her for now, Volt." She even sounded slightly apologetic when she addressed the Tenno. "Anyone here good with animals?" She didn't think so, or wouldn't they have come forward by now? She'd seen the blue-haired girl disappear, had tensed, and then accepted the fact she was probably back home since Neb didn't seem surprised. It also worried her. Leaving now and Volt might take the Cultist's suggestion of a pickax.

Being told to stop moving would have been funny had he been entirely imobalized. He blinked rapidly a few times, scrunching each time as he tried to adjust his vision. The sun bright, actually-the sun was the main lightsource. There was no clouds to dim the sudden harshness of the sun, even worse-the fact that he had been blinked mid day versus when he was falling in the middle of the nigh made his eyes scream for shade. He briefly looked down closing his eyes , crunching even tighter both in pain and as an attempt to adjust his sight. With his eyes still closed, he let out a soft moan. After a brief moment of internal suffering he opened his eyes, still irritated and in pain, Elliot skimmed the courtyard, his turquoise eyes acknowledging the presence of Dokku, Lovelace,Rue and Rex. Expressions varied and clearly not matching with their voices. On the other hand, he was having a difficult time matching the voices to each individual. The sound of wind currents was still bursting in his ears from the rapid fall. Then there was the rocking ground only helping him feel more disoriented from being flung thousands of miles downwards. He rested his hands against the polished wooden surface, surprise evident in his eyes when he felt the edges of where he impacted. It was clearly dented-the thought of how far or how fast wasn't on his mind thought. What was on his mind, was that he hadn't avoided his fall-even more shameful but on the other hand, concerning? He sat up against Rex's perhaps best advice to anyone who was falling from a high elevation. He blinked once again, with his sight better adjusted still scrunching his face when he felt the pain on his face from the fall. He rested his left hand over his mouth, then shifted his hand back so that his index finger could poke the tip of his canine tooth. It felt loose, but to his relief, or lack of feeling, it didn't appear loose. He let out a relieved sigh. Next his attention slowly turned to Rex before turning his head towards the tooth. "If I could control what I bring, then I would." His head turned back at Rex, "Unfortunately I cannot." He referred to the House's strange humor. The blood pool was a lot smaller by now, most of the remainer being from his fall. "Yet I take it your curiosity peeks to that?" He nudged his head in the direction of the tooth, scrunching again at the immense pain. Iceclaw ®Hawkpath® <Raintalon> Sησω

If you wanna say that Myrnin blinked out you can. ^^ ) "What's a serial killer?" asked Myrnin. He knew what a killer was, of course, but the term Sherlock used ran past him completely. He looked worried, just a little, but Sherlock seemed excited. This was a very mixed bag of emotions. He did brighten a bit as he remembered Sherlock had said 'blown up'. "Did it really? That's really cool! How'd it blow up?" He wasn't sure what to say about the challenges, but he was curious. Dry spells just made him think of droughts. But then Sherlock asked him something and Myrnin brightened a little more. "It's nice enough. I live in a small village and we trade to larger ones. It's by a huuuuuuuuuuges forest and stuff. And some mountains and hills." His head tilted at Sherlock's second question, unsure of how much to say. "Uuuuh. I help out my family." He chewed at his lip. "I got two sisters, though one is just a baby. And my mom." He didn't mention his father, but he got a slightly worried look and then moved on. "We raise sheep and have a bit of a garden to feed the family but mostly just trade." They raised sheep, but none currently. "I mostly am kept away from the house a lot and do ... work ... in the forest." 'Work' being anything he could think to do, which wasn't much. And his mother always seemed very wary of him whenever he was at home anyway. Or in the village. Or anywhere with people, even. So Myrnin played where he played, working with what he found. And wondered what would happen if he never came home, though he knew he had to.

Volt did a quick double-take as Ononoki suddenly vanished, realizing she had just watched the girl reverse-blink back into her reality. There was no sound, no indication, just suddenly gone as quick as she had come. It was a little unnerving, but as no one else commented, she didn't either, instead responding to Neb. "I said "we,"" The Tenno replied, matching the girl-turned-beast's teasing tone. The she added in a less joking manner, "I just don't want to get jumped again." She watched as The Doctor worked to revive the creature. The woman was being so.... gentle. Volt had seen glimpses of this before in the interactions between some of her human companions, but it was rare in a world that was racked with bloodshed and violence. Slowly the creature finally seemed to come around and she gripped the hilts of her weapons. However, the wolf made no move to attack, instead stumbling around with whimpering sounds. "I had no plans to." Volt said to The Doctor, staying right where she was. Her lights glittered with some unspoken emotion as she sheathed her swords. This was pitiful. What was the point of keeping a creature alive if it was just going to suffer? To solve the puzzle that had no solid indication these creatures played a role in it? Volt had little desire to randomly go around killing things, but for her enemies, a swift death was mercy.

Neb watched, careful of any aggression as the wolf began to wake and move, and then her stiffened form loosened upon the realization as the creature whimpered and tripped its way around. Deciding it wasn't worth to stay as a Dwarf, the hero dropped it and sat on the bank, eyes drifting down. "Not besides basic things," Neb replied. And certainly not with a feral animal.
And then the Doctor was gone. Neb sighed and rested her chin in her hands as she watched the poor wolf. She...really didn't know what to do next about anything. It would seem more humane to end the suffering than to leave her defenseless. But at the same time Neb didn't want to go against the Doctor's word, especially if she blinked back in quick enough.
"We can still try following the river," Neb spoke, picking herself up and brushing the dirt from her costume. "The wolf might have been good as a guide, but..." Definitely not in this state anymore. She pinched the bridge of her nose and turned from the sight, finding it a bit too much to continue watching. "Alright, survival tactics." Now at having seen the river herself, Neb was remembering the proper directions. "Most often downstream normally leads to civilization. In this case, that should mean the door back to the hallway." This was only thing left she had to fall back on. So unless someone else had some big revelation on a plan, Neb was sticking to this.

hello brokennose!! Welcome to tph!)
Crack. Landing on a poorly placed mound of sticks and underbrush, and therefore creating quite a bit of noise, a person appeared, nose in a thick book that had blinked in with them. They were tall, and narrowly built, but muscular, and it was easy to see why - they were wearing rather unconventional, but still recognizable, soldier’s clothing. They had their long, unkempt brown hair tied back in a messy ponytail, and they wore thin, square glasses that they were tapping at absently as they considered what they were reading. Abruptly, they snapped the book shut, and straightened up, looking around only to find that they were alone, in a forest that looked similar, but not identical to, the forests around their home. “Ah, it has been a few days,” they remarked, a warm grin spreading over their dramatic features as they took in their new environment. “Good to see you again, House. But where have you brought me this time, I wonder?”

“Of course she vanished.” Volt’s tone was more of a defeated sigh at this point. The Tenno watched the wolf try to pick its way around, slowly realizing why. She glanced over as Neb reverted back to her human form. “Would it?” She asked. “It’s as good of a lead as any, but would this House follow your survival tactics?” She honestly didn’t know, and Neb was more experienced so perhaps it was a moot point. There was a small crash behind her and Volt turned to see a rather lanky human with long hair just sort of sitting in the underbrush. Another who was more familiar with this place it seemed. They also appeared slightly unhinged.
