Taking another sip of the tea, Raizel couldn't help but wish for Franky's presence. Right about now his friend would be analyzing the tea to recreate it or make it even more grander. but can such a thing be made even grander? He pondered, his attention glued to the tea rather then Pallet. He listened to the two in the background, which for a change he caught Ougi's question. "Cadis Etrama Di Raizel." He pivoted towards the two with a bow. "You may call me Raizel or Rai." He smiled, standing back upright. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Pallet." Returning his captivated attention to the tea he asked Ougi a question. "Do you make tea often?" He softly spoke. "Any specialties you prefer, I'm trying broaden my horizons."

As Raizel's attention seemed more captivated by the cup of tea, and not her, Pallet couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed, though she kept that well hidden from her features. She was even more annoyed when started asking about the drink. After all, it was incredibly unlike any creature to ignore her so blatantly. The Demon took another sip of tea, keeping her thoughts to herself. God, I hate this place. Everyone is so caught up they have no time to sin. What a useless lot. The Demon let out a content sigh through her nose, looking down into the cup of tea. Maybe I'll just kill them all. After all, the Demon had kept her powers more or less hidden, she doubted there was anyone here who could effectively fight her off, not bother ice and her fire, especially if she used her demon form, which amplified those powers as well as her strength and speed. No human, at least, would be able to survive her. The thought of the carnage ran through her mind as a gentle, happy smile tugged at the corner of her lips. Anyone would think it was merely due to the "delicious" tea.

Ougi gave a sidelong glance at Pallet when she took the cup of tea. Something about this strange blinker made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. “You’re welcome,” she said with an oddly courteous nod. She figured the person’s attitude was attached to the oddity, but didn’t notice anything past that. After all, she was an oddity too. A mere extraction of a figment in a high school boy’s personality. That is, until recently. It could be that she was becoming more human. “Oshino Ougi,” the girl answered to Raizel. She was blatantly surprised that he was caught up on the tea; her back straightened in response to his posture and she retracted her hand away from Pallet to cross her arms in front of her. “I am learning from my uncle. There are many... strange teas,” she commented thoughtfully. “But they may not be the same as in your alternate universe.”

"-something more advanced?" asked Xander hopefully as he appeared, sitting at the table with his hands raised over a bowl of water. The water rose into the air as he moved his hands, forming an orb which froze solid before landing in his hand. The sound of unfamiliar voices nearby broke through his focus and the ice melted again, slipping through his fingers and landing back in the bowl with a splash as he looked up. He was back in the Paradox House. Xander wasn't sure how long had it been since he'd blinked in, but he was glad to see it again. He waved as he looked over at the group of blinkers and got to his feet. "I haven't seen this place in awhile."

"Oh?" Raizel raised a brow in curiosity. He had forgotten that everyone came from different universes, specifically that some items existed in some, whereas others did not. He couldn't help but smile, "I'm certain that my friend will take on the challenge regardless of the barriers." He assured Ougi. "Well.." He couldn't help but take another brief sip. "You are doing a fine job." He complimented the teen. "I can see the pleasure this will bring to others." He examined. There was a new voice which caught his attention, turning his attention he spotted Xander. "Welcome." He softly replied after the new individual waved at the group. "Come join us, won't you?" He softly invited. His attention finally towards Pallet, "If you don't mind me asking, would you happen to hold any tea recommendations?" He softly asked the girl internally plotting death and destruction.

Julius felt weaker than before, already he was beginning to hate this room. The pillars continued to glow blue as if nothing else had changed, but the humming had grown louder. Something's about to happen... The viper didn't know what exactly to anticipate, but he had the feeling it was going to be something they weren't going to like. "What is it?" He lifted his head, half-expecting to see something appear. Nothing out of the ordinary yet. His eyes then widened at Astolfo's conclusion. "Is that so?" To see it for himself, he lifted his arm, trying to summon his corrupted shadow. Nothing. So she was right. He didn't seem particularly worried, if anything, it almost excited him. His attention was brought to whatever Astolfo was talking to. It flew in the distance and seemed to be headed towards the two of them. So that's the Hippofgriff. It wasn't exactly the body of a horse, he didn't see any hooves. It reminded him of the Gryphons at home. The way it looked however...It's almost as it saw the two as prey. Julius didn't understand for a minute why Astolfo was running from him, but he quickly put two and two together when he saw the creature head straight for her. He grinned, I appreciate your concern for others, but that won't do here. He quickly ran after the servant and whistled as loud as he could, seeing if he could get the creature's attention. It was unfortunate that there weren't any rocks around, otherwise he'd be pelting the Hippogriff with them. Hippogriff's head shot to face Julius as the whistle hit it's ears, and it responded with a shrill cry. Astolfo meanwhile, took a glance behind him to see what was going on, only for his heart to drop as he saw his mount veer off it's current course and aim itself at the other blinker. "Hippogriff, stop!" The servant shouted, vainly hoping the beast would listen. Of course it didn't, but something that did happen was him realizing that he could use this change in plan for an advantage. Hippogriff just had to stay locked on to Julius... The two blinkers were about to pass by another one of those blue towers, which was perfect for the new plan. As they did so, Hippogriff suddenly dropped into a dive and the light surrounding it grew brighter. It was now or never, or else it was going to slam right into it's target. Considering the beast could smash through almost anything with ease, it wasn't going to end well if that happened. Astolfo took a deep breath, focused his mind, then sharply changed direction to the side and jumped up at the tower as they passed in front of it. As he flew he manuvered himself around so he hit it legs first, then once he touched it he pushed himself back off with enough force to send cracks spidering out from his launch point. Hippogriff ignored what it's master was doing, passing him by and still dead set on Julius. That had been a poor choice for it as it's Rider came barreling at it from the side with a concentrated grin on his face, despite knowing this was more then likely going to hurt. The servant collided with his mount, causing them both to go careening through the air. The pair crash landed a small distance away, the force causing the floor to rumble slightly. Hippogriff lay limply in the ground, and Astolfo was nowhere to be found at first. Until... "Ugh. Now I'm going to have a headache the rest of the day..." One of the large wings was tossed out of the way, revealing a scrapped up and slightly dazed pink haired figure who was rubbing the back of his head.

Pallet offered another gentle smile to Ougi, though said nothing, just content with her sipping and her thoughts, at the moment. When a new blinker appeared, however, Pallet perked up, especially seeing that it was a man who apparently and control over water and ice, or was practicing some kind of magic that controlled them. "Hello," the Demon greeted happily, looking over Xander curiously. "That was cool." She smiled both at her pun, but also to add a bit of flirtation to her compliment. That, of course, was when Raizel decided to finally pay attention to her. "Tea? Well, I don't often drink it, personally, but my favorite I think I've ever had was a mix of hemlock and nightshade." She said, thinking back on the flavor. "With a touch of chamomile."

Riley gazed toward the door that Rae pointed out, quirking an eyebrow as she explained. "Endless?" He murmured. Well, at the very least, one couldn't get bored here, with so many doors to explore. "Explore... sure, we could do that at some point, if you like." Though, he wasn't quite sure how helpful he could be, unless there was some type of magic... but even then... "What's a mermaid?" Riley asked, turning his attention back to Rae as she explained some of the rooms she'd been in. They way she had dropped the word, it sounded like it was a pretty well known thing, and he felt a bit odd asking, but she had been so kind to explain snow, he figured that this wouldn't make him look any more stupid than that had.

Come here long enough and the House eventually just felt like a routine. Popping in, chatting, exploring the rooms; like second nature. She looked back up at Riley, realization dawning on her face at the inquiry. "Oh, they're half-human, half-fish people who live in the ocean-- er, bodies of water. They're mythological creatures, not really real." Although, thinking on it, she guessed in some universe they could exist normally. "They've got finned tails, scales, and-- oh, wait, Um..." Riley hadn't known what a shark was back in that room, right? Remembering that, Rae fumbled with her fish explanation now, pretty sure that that world wouldn't have things like aquatic life how she was describing. "Sorry, is that too out there?"

Czeslaw had the 4+ in his hand, but decided not to put it down. More specifically, he was persuaded not to by Dipper's harshness. The younger boy seemed to be on the edge of tears in mere seconds. As Dipper straightened up, Czeslaw cowered slightly and winced. "I... Don't have one." It was like he was admitting he had no family all over again. Then again, that was a bit of an exaggeration. There was definitely a layer of a peeved attitude under the shyness. He put his hands on the wheel and tapped the pedal with his foot lightly, but didn't make the car advance. This room was supposed to be fun. Not that he had fun in the house in general, but he had at least had a decent time this blink with Myrnin. That was strange. Even just for a thought to himself. "Well if you don't wanna show me the book, what else do you want to do?"

Riley merely offered a small smile, watching Rae discuss the House was...cute. Though he had only spent a short time with her, he understood why King Vipatti had fallen for her. Though, why she had fallen for him, he couldn't quite understand. He pushed all thoughts of that away as she started explaining mermaids. Riley's eyebrow furrowed when Rae mentioned fish, though relaxed when she mentioned bodies of water. Oh, just more things not in his world. "They sound like water lizards." Riley murmured, feeling a bit silly that he didn't know these things that seemed so common place to her. Though, maybe there were others in this House that didn't know things as well. Plus, it was unlikely that anyone here knew about the things in his world. "I mean, not really. It just took a little bit to get around to actually understanding." The young man ran a hand through his black hair. "Worlds that have water in them...it makes sense that there would be creatures in that water. It's just, well, my world doesn't have any bodies of water. We have a single season for rain, and we have to save all water that comes from it so we don't die throughout the other three seasons. And there are royals who have water powers, that help as well, of course." Riley looked down at his feet, realizing how much he had spoken. It was rare for him to speak so much, even more rare for someone to allow him to.

"Hemlock?" Raizel was briefly caught off guard by the mention. It was brief but noted as he quickly recomposed himself to his usual elegance. "You have quite a dire taste." He couldn't help but softly smile taking another sip of his coffee. Your taste is almost like that of Frankenstein's... He held back the urge to shutter. "But the combination of Nightshade and Hemlock.." He paused to think about it. "I may have to consider that in the future." His attention slightly turned towards Xander once more , the newcomer. What was he like? Ecstatic as Myrnin, or calming as Sherlock? Perhaps somewhere in between? Pushing that thought aside he mentally noted the tea recipe, positive that if he gave a certain madman that idea, the madman would go on to further deepen the dire.

Ougi's eyebrow twitched at Raizel's further compliments. What was with these people? They were too ready to compliment, and too charismatic for her liking. Where was the awkwardness? The willingness to go toe to toe with some intellectual conversation? She had to force herself to resist making an outright rude comment. "...Hello." A little more impatience leaked into her voice than intended. The student was looking at Xander with her coal colored eyes, arms still crossed leisurely. Her gaze was more on his demonstration of supernatural abilities rather than the person himself. "I'm sorry, but I'm out of tea," she apologized. These arms uncrossed when Pallet spoke again and went into her pockets--her clothing didn't seem to have any bulges where she could store such things, but she seamlessly procured a miniature notepad and a pen. Clicking the top of this pen, she diligently wrote down the new tea recipe. What an odd bunch this was indeed.

"Dire? Not at all, just enjoy the finer things in life. Sadly, the finer things often come with a little bit of a risk." Though the mix of hemlock and nightshade was more than just a 'little bit' of a risk to any human. At his mention of trying the tea, Pallet's sweet smile grew. "Oh, you should. You won't regret it." She took another sip from her cup. Her blue eyes moved to Ougi when the girl brought forth a pen and pad. The Demon smirked into her cup, hiding it from the others. She finished her tea, setting the cup aside, she turned her attention back to Ougi. "Are you learning to make tea because you work in a tea shop, or is it just a hobby of yours and your uncles?" Pallet asked, seemingly taking interest in the girl. Honestly, she couldn't have cared less, about any of these people. Raizel had already gotten on her nerves by ignoring her, Ougi was interesting, but too young to really make the Demon care, and Xander...well, he hadn't been around long enough for Pallet to actually have an opinion, but it was likely he would annoy her as well.

Ougi nodded at the pad when she was done, making sure that she had written it down properly. A mixture such as this could have been a wonderful brew for someone like Kaiki, although she would never be so direct aloud. She corralled those kinds of ideas into the realm of her thoughts. Her head only rose when Pallet spoke to her again. "Oh, it is my hobby. My uncle is already an expert at everything," she informed her. It was phrased like a boast, but not delivered like one. But these people had even less of an idea of who her 'uncle' was than her fellow high school students, so there was little point in talking about him unless she perhaps wanted to use him to intimidate someone. This is what she contemplated as she looked at Pallet, not breaking eye contact while she put the notepad away. "What about you? You seem to know a lot about tea. And murder."

After finishing the tea, Raizel gracefully returned the cup onto the tray on the table. Moving with such grace, he then reached into his coat pocket to retrieve his handkerchief. Using the handkerchief he lightly wiped it along his face in case any tea got on him, which thankfully it didn't but still better to be safe then sorry. Afterwords he nearly folded the handkerchief, before returning it to the confounds of his pocket. In between this he noticed that his clothes had unaligned a little, so he proceeded to adjust his coat, sleeves, and collar. "I will indeed try it, I'm certain two friends may enjoy it as well." He considered Muzuka and Frankenstein. On the other hand, he was contemplating that this would be a bad idea; mainly because those two got carried away at times. After his clothes were aligned he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. With that, tragedy has been avoided... He was just beaming with happiness, over his aligned attire almost forgetting about everyone in the room. Briefly, but still listening to the two women in the background, who seemed to be shifting in the direction of death and destruction. and unfortunately that is an area I am tied too... He physically paid no mind to their comments.

"A hobby? How nice." Pallet commented, just as sweet as before, though she ignored the comment about Ougi's uncle being an expert in everything. It seemed a bit embellished, and Pallet didn't feel like commenting on it. "Four hundred and six years alive, one picks up a few things." The demon responded, with the same sweet and innocent smile, though considering what it was referring to, it seemed far less innocent than before.
The Demon's blue gaze turned to Raizel for a moment as he straightened his clothes. She had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. Everything he did now seemed to annoy her. "Though," she turned back to Ougi. "Murder isn't really one of my hobbies as it is some of my friends. I prefer to just lead people astray." She had decided that, despite how much fun it would be to lead all of these people astray, it would be far more fun to just be honest about who she was. Not that she was exactly hiding it. It just wasn't something that came up often. "If that leads to your death, that's more your fault than mine, for your own ignorance."

"Sure!" said Xander, getting up from the table and moving the bowl away from the edge. Would it blink back with him? Hopefully it would, he didn't really want to carry it around the House. As he turned away from the table, one of the other blinkers spoke to him, a pretty white-haired girl who he didn't remember seeing in the House before. For a moment he hesitated to reply, thinking she had been talking to someone else, but she was definitely looking at him and there were no other blinkers by the table. "Oh, thanks," he replied with a short laugh. In his world, freezing a small amount of water wasn't too impressive, but he'd heard that there were worlds that didn't have any magic. Xander started to walk over, but before he could say anything else, the girl's attention returned to the other blinkers she'd been talking to about... tea recipes? His eyes widened slightly and he paused as she described one with hemlock and nightshade. Maybe she and the others were some of the non-human blinkers he'd been told about, and weren't affected by it the same way..? Or maybe they was planning on poisoning someone... Or already had. His gaze darted to the other girl when she spoke, apologizing for running out of tea. "Oh, uh, that's fine," he replied, a little more quickly than intended. "I could always get some later when I'm back in my world."

"Oh. Four hundred and six." The student blinked and rolled her shoulders back. She wondered if Pallet was referring to herself, an oddity that affected her, or both. She wasn't about to share with the group that she had only been alive seven months, but it was ironic that she was surrounded by seemingly immortal blinkers. A smile found its way back onto Ougi's face as she faintly narrowed her dull eyes; perhaps she was inspired by Pallet's own smile, realizing a demented sort of kinship between them. Except rather than instigating a friendship, the student was more interested in interrogation. "So according to your philosophy, as long as you don't have dealings in the final deed you are exempt." From justice. "I would think that is a logic far too easily manipulated to fit one's needs. But you are awarded points for trying." When Xander came closer, she stepped back to allow him to join them, and in the process made space between herself and Pallet as if to release tension.

Riley offered a gentle smile when she stifled her laugh, and at hearing he hadn't been far off. Though, it offered an odd image in his head. The man shrugged as she spoke about the stresses of collecting water. "We've found ways, plus, it rains straight on for quite a while, we often have a surplus by the end." He explained, trying to keep his explanations short once again. "They can conjure small amounts of water, but often have to pull it from their surroundings. We have plants, cacti and such, that hold quite a bit of water. Life may sound hard, but as long as we have a good ruler, it's actually quite enjoyable for most." Riley froze for a moment. He didn't mean to say what he had, it had just come out. And it wasn't like King Vipatti had been the first bad ruler the world had endured. His statement held true for all of them. Again, Riley looked down at his feet. "So, um, what do you do in your world? Do you have a job or anything?" He asked, trying to change the subject, though the question sounded hesitant, as if asking personal questions was odd for him.

Raizel observed the newcomer Xander, he carried a rather ongoing mellow vibe to him. It was different then Pallet's mal intent. On the other hand it was very different from Ougi's rather absent vibe. He dared not impede in the thoughts of others, so for now he would rely on their vibes, and physical being to read them alike. "The next time we meet, might I ask for a cup of tea from you?" He politely asked Xander. It was a selfish request, one which hammered him with regret on asking. I must broaden my horizons.. He tried to reason with his regretful thoughts. On the other hand he couldn't help but release a murmur of impression towards Pallet. "Four hundred and six.." He softly repeated. "That indeed is a long time, I hope times have been treating you well." He somewhat reflected on his own troubles, resulting in long term isolation. But not anymore... On the other hand Pallet's philosophy was regretfully words which he had herd far too many times. It almost made him shudder, instead he slightly turned his head elsewhere. "Given your gift to outlive humans, has it not crossed your mind to aid someone astray towards a better future?" He asked now, which perhaps might have not been the best question to ask. On one hand it was his personal beliefs interjecting this question, on the other hand his duties were binded to his loyalty and oath. "Forgive me for my rudeness.." He added after a brief pause. "I too am curious , similarly to Ougi."

"Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy?" wailed Myrnin, blinking into the bumper car room half bent over and looking just a bit like he was being led along by the hand. The reason that fact was so easy to see was because his arm was up and the positioned he was standing in. When his head rose high enough to be able to see his face he had tears in his eyes (red, of course) and generally looked like a crying baby. His feet where positioned in the seat of a bumper car but he hadn't really noticed. Instead he crossed his arms, stuck out his lip, and generally still looked like he was on the verge of a temper-tantrum. The origins of which were still unknown.

After taking a bit to adjust his eyesight, he couldn't help but slowly look around. It was the same room as before, the living room, and yet his own curiosity had him look for anything that might be different. Nothing much has changed, aside from the lighting. Off to the side he noticed Myrnin calmly reading, in silence he couldn't help but react with a minor flinch. It was surprisingly someone he wanted to see... This place is strange... He couldn't shifted positions, then silently proceeded to approach the vampire who seemed very wrapped up in his book. "Yesssssss?" questioned Myrnin, not looking up and apparently only acknowledging Elliot existed because he wasn't going to let the vampire pretend otherwise. "What is it?" He turned a page of the book, Ben Franklin glasses slipping a bit even at that small movement. He didn't actually need the glasses to see, but he thought they looked cool.

There it was, the quirk that made this individual Myrnin. Elliot stood in silence, taking a pause between the time the other vampire addressed him and his own reply. His eyes observed the book Myrnin was reading, and the glasses. It seemed odd to him for a vampire to be using glasses. We have perfect sight... He resisted the urge to ask, instead bringing the attention to a scarf resting along his forearm. "I would like to thank you for your assistance." he spoke with a rather serious tone. "I may have mentioned you to an individual who tends to my wounds." His eyes sharpened, "In appreciation, she knitted this scarf for you. While I am uncertain if you appreciate scarfs, she assumed you did given my tendencies." He kept a serious expression through his explanation. "She knitted an M along the ends, for I had to provide your name." His head slightly turned to the sound of chattering coming from the far end of the room. It was clearly busy this time around. He reached out to give Myrnin the knitted scarf to the other vampire, "It would be in your best interest to accept a gift from an individual as loyal as her." His eyes were twitching a little. He turned away to hide the sly fluster on his face.

Rae gave a nod. She supposed his world's humanity had figured out a good enough system to survive as they were. It was just so different from life as she knew it. "It sounds neat, it's really interesting to hear about a world existing like that." she said. She at first didn't think much of what Riley had said in regards to rulers, only his actions afterward gave her pause as she realized what he had meant. She shrugged it off; it was done with at this point, she felt.
Rae didn't mind the questions drifting to her, and she shook her head. "No job right now, I'm in college though! Been focusing on some upcoming tests, but aside from that I haven't been able to do a whole lot recently. School gets in the way sometimes." She shifted her position, opting to sit on the armrest rather than lean, and tapped the back of her heels against the base of the couch. "What about you?" she asked. Ears ringing and - if there was anything at all to hear - not picking up any sound other than said tinny ringing Vanessa dropped her hands. And looked around. The tree she'd been in looked like it had just gone through one of the worst days of its life and was devoid of leaves. The blix ever so slowly uncurled from where she'd been sitting and instead sat up. She frowned. She did that a lot. But in this case, she was mildly more annoyed than she had been knowingly becoming. She wasn't really sure where Astolfo was other than back in the direction she'd just come from but she didn't really want to go chasing after him. The world was still completely silent and she was hoping this wouldn't be permanent hearing loss. Since she was a bit angry she decided to wait there and see if the ditz caught up ... Astolfo stood up from his bow, pink eyes searching the forest around him. Now that was over, where'd Vanessa gotten to? Figuring it was time to put that flying ability to use, he held out his arms and rose up through the bare branches above him into the air. "Mmm. It never gets tiring seeing a pretty night sky..." The servant mused, taking a second to observe the now unlimited view he had of the stars. The sky wasn't a familiar one, for it bore no constellations, but it was pretty anyway. If only the others were here to see it too... "Ah, stop getting so mopey!" Astolfo chastised himself and shook his head. He returned his attention back to the forest below, only for his mouth to fall open when he saw that everything for miles was a sea of samey looking trees. Reaching up to rub his head uncertainly, "Oh boooy... This might take awhile..." The Rider dove down closer and first began scanning the stretch of forest cleared out by his NP. Maybe Vanessa had started heading back to where they had split up and he could intercept her. Eventually after what felt like an eternity of searching, a humanoid shape came into view, sitting in the braches of one of the trees. "Yooo!" Astolfo called from above her, doing a few circles in the air as he tried finding a good spot to land. Unbeknownst to him, he wouldn't be the one to decide where he'd be going, as quite suddenly the flying enchantment wore off and he was sent plummeting down towards the ground. "Craaap!" If it had been any sane person, they would have been panicking, but this servant was neither of those. That shout had been from the suprise of the enchantment wearing off, not the fact he was now on a collision course with the earth. If anything, he was used to things like this by this point... Passing right by Vanessa, he crashed through the top lair of the forest and landed... On a large, glowing mushroom which cushioned his impact. There was that A+ Luck stat kicking in for him.

Pallet turned her attention back to Xander for a short moment to smile at him, letting him know that she hadn't forgot about his existence, though she could have easily. She noticed his reaction to her tea recipe and couldn't help the gentle smirk that tugged at her lips. Now that had been the reaction she'd been hoping for from the others.
At the mention of her age from both Ougi and Raizel, Pallet offered a small nod. "A bit young compared to all of those I'm around, but they've treated me well. Or, at least, they have to." It was a bit of a brag, but after all, she was technically the Queen of Hell.
Pallet's attention went back to Ougi as she addressed the Demon once more. "I never claimed innocence, nor will I. Many believe that the leading astray of someone, especially if it leads to death, is equal to murder, and in a human court I very well may be tried as a murderer. I know for a fact that God would try me as one. However, as I will never be tried, and even if I were to be, I would only end up back home anyway, I have nothing to fear." Another innocent smile. Her blue gaze turned to Raizel as he asked his question and the Demon couldn't help but let out a giggle. It sounded musical and pretty, though given the context, rather misplaced. "I guess you don't quite understand." She said. "I'm from Cocytus. The Ninth Ring of Hell. Leading someone to a better future is the job of an angel, not a demon."
