"Mm?" Julius turned his head to the source of the new voice. The pink-haired figure greeted him rather excitedly, which left him a bit confused. He's never seen her before, so why did she seem so happy to see him? Only the idiot trio at the Mulidais greeted him so happily... oh and Hyac. "Er- uh..." The snake was caught completely off guard by the socialable girl. He nearly dropped his cigarette when she started to reach for his horns. They twitched furiously as the other blinker's fingers neared, but Julius didn't move and let her touch them. Finally, he answered her, "Y-Yeah? They're horns..." If this blinker was like anyone else, she'd probably find them cute, much to his dismay. He hated how small his horns were. His cheeks couldn't help but turn pink in embarrassment. Astolfo froze mid-reach for a second when the horns started twitching. Okay that was definitely a first, horns weren't supposed to move, at least not any he'd ever heard of before. The action almost weirded him out enough to stop him from going through with touching them, but he had already set his heart on doing so, so he did it anyway. The Servant gently squeezed them a few times, then backed off. They felt like horns alright, nothing else strange there. "You're so lucky! I bet people find those really neat. I know I do!" As he returned to his previous position, he noticed that the other blinker was blushing. "Oh? Did I make you uncomfortable? Sorry about that!" Astolfo replied, giving Julius a sheepish smile and reaching up to rub the back of his head. "I probably should have at least introduced myself first, right?" He seemed completely oblivious to the fact it probably would have still been awkward anyway, which was the norm for him. Just like the first blink, he jumped right into his introduction without thinking of what information he should or shouldn't reveal. "My Servant Class is Rider, and my True Name is Astolfo! One of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne!" He pointed to himself proudly while talking. "What about you? What's yours?" Julius had to hold in the smoke so he wouldn't blow it all over the other blinker's face. The heated urge to cough was killing his throat. He felt relieved when she was finally satisfied enough with his horns to back off a little. He turned his head and released a plume of smoke, away from her face. Neat? Well, maybe not neat... "People are interested in them alright." He chuckled. Everyone else found them adorable, much to his annoyance. She was the first to not call them cute. "Servant class...?" Was she a servant, then? She certainly wasn't... dressed like one. Maybe she was on break or something. What the heck was a rider? Did she take care of horses or something? "Never heard of Charly-mohnj." Julius shrugged. He sounded big if he had 12 paladins....wait, "You're a paladin?" She looked too small and cute to be in a military. He guessed looks can be deceiving. "Julius." He replied simply. "Nothing special with me here." He supposed One of the Mulidais' Trump Cards would be special enough, but it's not like anyone here would know about any of that. That was probably a good thing.

"Yup!" From the way the other blinker said that, he didn't seem to know what that actually entailed, which made sense if he came from another world. Then again, Servants weren't exactly public knowledge back home either... "There's quite a few different ones, and it would take me all day to explain them all. As for Riders, we're famous for our mounts! Our, or specifically my, attributes kinda suck besides my luck and agility." The Servant was completely nonchalant when he said that, only giving a lazy shrug. "But I get a bunch of awesome Noble Phantasms to compensate!" Julius was probably just going to be even more confused now, but Astolfo had tried explaining it anyway. He couldn't resist giggling at the way the other blinker tried pronouncing Charlemagne. "Shar-la-main." He sounded out, trying to help out. "Aww, really? You're missing out! The stories surrounding him and us are great! Especially the one where I went to the moon on Hippogriff." Man, that had been fun, probably one of his favorite adventures to date. "Yeah! Although I'm famously the 'weak' one of the bunch." He didn't let it get him down though, even if was a pain in the ass sometimes. "Nice to meet you Julius!" The Servant hummed, suddenly reaching out and taking the man's free hand in both of his own and held it up in a friendly gesture. "I hope we can be friends!" At the snake's last sentence, Astolfo tilted his head to the side. "Hmm. I'm sure there probably is, maybe you just have to find out what it is."

Julius couldn't help but snort, causing a stream of smoke coming out of his nose. Something told him Astolfo did more than just take care of horses. Attributes? Were they ranked or something? What did luck and agility have to do with being someone's servant? "What do you do as a servant?"
"Char-la-mayn" he repeated. His pronunciation was still a little different due to his English accent however. He took another inhale out of his cigarette, thinking it was best to finish it quickly. Smoking around a lady, especially a stranger, just seemed rude. Unless that lady was Eises, but clearly it wasn't. "Alright, why don't you tell me about 'em? And hippogriff." He decided he would ask about this Noble Phantasm later.
"The pleasure's mine." He smiled genuinely and returned the handshake. Astolfo's grip was firmer than he expected. He snorted again, "I meant in terms of class. I don't have any special ranking, like you." Julius in the military or being a leader? Now that was funny. "Only thing special about me is my strength."

"I fight." Astolfo said simply, before elaborating a bit. "A Servant's purpose is to answer the summons of a Master and fight in a war for the Holy Grail." That was the gist of it anyway... "But since the one I fought in is over now, I just kinda wonder around aimlessly and help people." Which was fine, he did make a promise to use his second life to help others after all. He gave Julius a thumbs up when he tried pronouncing the name again, this time sounding much better. "Yeah, like that!" It didn't have to be spot on to be good enough, at least not to Astolfo. The Rider didn't seem to mind the fact the Julius was smoking, which was probably for the better since if he did, he would been straight and called it out. "Really? Okay!" Astolfo's features lit up like a pink, excited Christmas tree. Poor Julius had no clue what he'd just done by telling him to explain those things. "Let's see. There's the one I already mentioned where I go to the moon. In that one I had to go there to find my cousin Roland's reason. The moon is where everything lost on the earth ends up, and he'd lost his after he was rejected by the queen he fell in love with. That's also when I started wearing these! They're proof of our friendship." He manuvered his head around so he could show off the black ornaments in his hair. "Cute, right? Anyway, there was also the time I chased some harpies to the gates of hell, captured a giant, lost a bunch of jousting tournaments and... Uh..." Now it was Astolfo's turn to start blushing in embarrassment. "Got turned into a tree, but let's not talk about that one!" Sure, he could have just not mentioned that, but he was pretty much incapable of doing such things. Next on the list of topics was Hippogriff. "Hippogriff is my mount! I also had a horse made of fire and air once, but I guess he wasn't important enough to bring with me when I became a Servant. He's also one of my Noble Phantasms, so I can summon him almost anywhere. A hippogriff is a combo between a horse and a eagle, and makes a pretty great stead, except when he's hungry. Then he refuses to move until I feed him something." Finally done with his rambling, the Rider gave a large stretch. "Think that's enough for now." To him, that speech had been nothing, and he was very capable of going even longer. "Special strength? So can you lift something like a car?"

"So you're like a personal soldier." Once again, looks were probably deceiving. Julius couldn't see much muscle on her, but maybe she was a certain type of fighter that didn't rely on muscle. She did mention something about agility and being a rider, so maybe that's where her strength was.
The viper couldn't help but wonder how much of this was true. A lot of it sounded unbelievable, but he knew nothing about this girl's world, so he couldn't be so sure. He merely stayed quiet and listened to her ramble on and on. He didn't entirely mind it, in a way she kind of reminded him of Maurice. Her eagerness and amiability was quite similar to the bat's....and the rambling.
"A horse and an eagle..." He echoed, trying to imagine which part was which. An eagle's head with a body of a horse? A horse's head with the body of an eagle? That last one just sounded creepy, not a sight he wanted to see. "Refusing to move until you feed him sounds awfully familiar." He crossed his arms, remembering the trio of idiots back home.
"Oh sure, a car is pretty light actually." It'd been a while since he's last lifted a car. The last time he did so was to crush a few people that had been trying to rob him, and it was years ago. The viper wondered how he could explain his strength that didn't involve tearing people apart. He exhaled a few puffs of smoke, "Mmm, let's say not a lot can do much to me, but I can do a lot to others."

Anyone could have seen Dipper's heart skip a beat as the silence was broken within a matter of seconds. Friend or foe, he couldn't have the sweet choice of consulting the journal nor his clever wit. One aspect of the house he desperately wished he could have in his grasp was reversing time right about now. "I'm Dipper." He glanced away anxiously, a sense of regret forming at the back of his head. The older boy dragged his gaze towards Will suddenly noting his young age was similar to his own. "Are you new?" Why did you ask that, stupid? "I haven't actually seen you around before is what I meant!" He rushed to correct himself as if some unspoken rule was broken so carelessly. Will considered that for a moment before shaking his head. "I... well I first blinked in about six hours ago. But I've blinked in at least twenty or thirty times since then so... I don't really think I'm new in House time, but in my world's time I guess?" he shrugged. He was trying to not be at all awkward because Dipper seemed to be a bit awkward and having both of them be awkward wouldn't be good, especially since Will sort of wanted to be friends with Dipper. From what he could tell, he was cool. "I'm from Earth," he added, cringing at how out of place and irrelevant the words seemed. "Where are you from?"

Luck wasn't in his favor in this blink but was it ever? "The house changes the rules up once in awhile." Dipper persisted as he felt Czes' attention becoming too sharp on the journal. None of the blinkers here were less gullible than your average tourist, underestimating others was his achilles heel if you wanted to go that far. The young man's curiosity drifted to the riveting sight of a usual tuesday evening - the mystery shack had seen worse days than this. At such a sight he sunk his hand into his pocket sticking it in slowly. A dead giveaway, yes, but there was no fooling someone like the kid in front of him. "When you mention it, yeah, fighting won't matter when you're going to see them later, logically speaking?" He mumbled in agreement turning his sleep-deprived gaze away from the scuffle. He curled his hand into a protectively over the accursed book when the last question was dropped, "The same reason you probably don't want others to know the secrets you have." He pointed out with a cautioning tone not long after he continued what could be interpreted as an offer the immortal couldn't refuse. Many had taken interest in the author's underrated work, very few stuck around to finish the entirety of its contents. Why cough up the secrets if you were just going to use it for a sick curiosity that resulted in potential atrocities? "Whatever dirt you have - I have no idea what it has to do with the unnatural but if you're that interested - you'll know what it hides!" If you live long enough to see it.Czeslaw clearly wasn't buying that statement, but he delivered that sentiment with a look rather than words. Even though he was the one who had lived for hundreds of years, Dipper was the one who seemed burdened by something in this moment. From his tired look, to the way he talked about the other blinkers. He was unfazed by what seemed like a threat toward his secrets; it was easy for him to wear the face of someone who would hide nothing of importance--that was what was expected of a child, anyway. "I promise I'm not gonna ruin it or anything." Although he had near given up the idea of seeing the covert book. He still stood face to face, slightly higher than Dipper while he was standing inside his bumper car, as if expectant to receive it any moment. His hands were at the ready, one placed on the top of the car's dashboard as he let himself lean. "Seems like... you're scared of something though." It was not the fear that affected him, but instead the revoking of his new interest, as his lean inverted and he plopped down in the seat of his bumper car, knees turned but torso still facing the other boy. Arms were crossed. He was pouting. It was either the book, or a distraction that would save him now.

Astolfo couldn't help but shudder as he spoke those last words. Even if she was dead, just thinking about his last Master still made him cringe. "Uh huh. A combination of two things thought impossible, making him a Phantasmal Beast! Because of that, when I take him into battle we can phase through enemy attacks by very briefly teleporting to The Reverse Side of the World!" Too bad it couldn't be longer, then it's be easy to visit his current Master. "Oh really? Do you have a mount too?" If Astolfo hadn't known better, Julius' description of himself made it sound like he was a Servant too. They were only able to be hurt by a few things, for example other Spirits, and able to destroy pretty much anything or anyone not magical with ease. "Hmm. You remind me of Saber of Red, phrasing it like that. I bet you two would have got along great!" Saber had had an... Interesting personality to say the least, but she hadn't been that bad once they'd gotten to know her. And if you left out the fact she'd almost killed both him and his Master...

( Dx It ate my reply!) There was a brief, rather original curse before Vanessa started running. She didn't look back, but she couldn't help thinking how annoying it was that someone like Astolfo could have magical abilities and objects with that ... mind. She jumped from tree limb to tree limb, the distance sometimes no more than a few inches. The trees were closely spaced together and were taller than ones she had seen in Fablehaven or other preserves. Sometimes branches were as wide as sidewalks. After she'd counted down several seconds under her breath and ran as best she could using the trees without risk of breaking her neck she stopped, tucking herself into a crook of a branch and pressing both hands over her ears. Astolfo better not get himself killed. She didn't have a lot of resources in this place and she wanted to see if she could somehow use his magic ... (Ouch. Sorry that happened. >.<) Astolfo heard Vanessa finally make a break for it, an excited grin spreading across his face despite the bombardment of attacks still being thrown at him by the 'ghost wolves'. "Time for the next show!" He yelled at his attackers, starting to taunt them again. From the sound of it, he was trying to be dramatic, but in reality he was giving his fellow blinker just a few extra seconds to get further away. "This one goes out to all of you! Get ready to be knocked dead by my performance!" That wasn't a joke either... Figuring Vanessa was far enough away by now, the Servant put his mouth to the end of the instrument and activated it's Noble Phantasm just as he was about to be swarmed by the rest of the monsters. A shockwave of blue light shot forth from the horn in an explosion of noise. When it hit the monsters it instantaneously vaporized them, although it was a bit hard to tell since you couldn't see them... The shockwave tore through the area around it's source for almost half a mile, clearing that patch of forest of all it's foliage. And as fast as it came, it faded, leaving only a loud noise sounding throughout the area. It's purpose done, the horn dematerialized in it's wielder's hands and returned to it's original place one his hip. "Hope you all enjoyed the show!" Astolfo chimed happily, giving a showy bow to the empty air around him. "Sadly I won't be doing any encores. This one was a killer!" The trees around him would have probably agreed, considering they were all stripped bare now, making them look dead. The forest floor was now exposed to the full light of the moon, it's light like a curtain dropping on the end of a performance. Ears ringing and - if there was anything at all to hear - not picking up any sound other than said tinny ringing Vanessa dropped her hands. And looked around. The tree she'd been in looked like it had just gone through one of the worst days of its life and was devoid of leaves. The blix ever so slowly uncurled from where she'd been sitting and instead sat up. She frowned. She did that a lot. But in this case, she was mildly more annoyed than she had been knowingly becoming. She wasn't really sure where Astolfo was other than back in the direction she'd just come from but she didn't really want to go chasing after him. The world was still completely silent and she was hoping this wouldn't be permanent hearing loss. Since she was a bit angry she decided to wait there and see if the ditz caught up ...

(Please enjoy two harshly different Myrnin posts as I sit here coughing.)
"Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy?" wailed Myrnin, blinking into the bumper car room half bent over and looking just a bit like he was being led along by the hand. The reason that fact was so easy to see was because his arm was up and the positioned he was standing in. When his head rose high enough to be able to see his face he had tears in his eyes (red, of course) and generally looked like a crying baby. His feet where positioned in the seat of a bumper car but he hadn't really noticed. Instead he crossed his arms, stuck out his lip, and generally still looked like he was on the verge of a temper-tantrum. The origins of which were still unknown.
---
(And within the living room ...)
Reading a book which looked biggest than the dictionary, Myrnin blinked in, sitting on the couch and wearing Ben Franklin style glasses perched on his nose. He didn't have any reaction when appearing in the living room and instead focused on the book instead, flipping through the pages as if looking for something.

After taking a bit to adjust his eyesight, he couldn't help but slowly look around. It was the same room as before, the living room, and yet his own curiosity had him look for anything that might be different. Nothing much has changed, aside from the lighting. Off to the side he noticed Myrnin calmly reading, in silence he couldn't help but react with a minor flinch. It was surprisingly someone he wanted to see... This place is strange... He couldn't shifted positions, then silently proceeded to approach the vampire who seemed very wrapped up in his book.

Any other name should be good enough. It reminded him of his father. The only ones who could teleport in his world were traditional mages, and those weren't the kinds of people you'd want to trust. Maybe Astolfo's world was a little different in that regard. Being able to teleport all the way across the world seemed impressive, but if it's only for a few seconds, what's the point? That seemed like overkill. Speaking of phantasm, "What's a noble phantasm, anyway?" Almost finished with his cigarette, Julius decided to savor the last several huffs. "Maybe." He guessed this Saber of Red was some kind of blade wielder. What was with the different colours? "I've yet to meet someone that similar to myself." He wasn't sure if he'd want to, either. One overly aggressive asshole seemed enough. "But enough standing around." He stretched his arms upward for a bit, "How about we try a room?"

One overly aggressive asshole seemed enough. "But enough standing around." He stretched his arms upward for a bit, "How about we try a room?" "If you want me to put it simply, they're special items or/and abilities that all Heroic Spirits have." Astolfo said, before backing up a few steps. It wouldn't hurt to show an example right? Holding out an outstretched hand he summoned Argalia and in a flash of gold light, the large gold lance materialized in his grip. "Like this!" Despite it's size, the Servant lifted it with ease and hoisted it onto his shoulder. "If I say it's True Name and hit another Servant with it, it can destroy one of their legs! Although it's only temporary..." And losing a limb sometimes made no difference at all depending on who it hit, which was absolutely terrifying when it happened. "Huh?" Astolfo idly bounced Argalia on his shoulder as Julius starting moving, but he dismissed it upon hearing the Snake's question and pumped a fist into the air. "Heck yeah!" Excitement shot through his body like a caffeine rush. Without waiting, he bolted through the living door and out into the hallway.

"And what's a Heroic Spirit?" If Julius knew Astolfo was male, he wouldn't be asking so many questions. He'd probably still be smoking at the wall and only replying to him with grunts of little interest. He eyed as Astolfo wrapped her hands around the big, long, thick lance with interest. It shined bright gold like his own eyes. He did have to wonder what it would do against him, but he wasn't in the mood to be stabbed today. Maybe another day.
"So you got several of those phantasms?" What other weapons did she have? Maybe he'll be able to find out soon, depending on what kind of room they did. Unlike her, he didn't have anything fancy to show. His didn't consider his corrupted magic interesting enough to show, but even so, that was something he didn't like to casually show regardless.
He chuckled as he watched the servant zoom into the hallway. Taking his time, he followed with a casual pace. Deep inside he really wanted to see what the House had in store for them, but he didn't show his interest the same way Astolfo did. "Your choice." The viper hummed as he entered the hallway, pointing an opened-palmed hand to the general direction of the doors.

It took Astolfo nary a second to chose a door, but he didn't bolt straight in this time, instead he turned back to Julius to answer his questions. "Someone who achieves great deeds in life has a chance of becoming a Heroic Spirit when they die. Then, they can be summoned as servants to fight in the Holy Grail War." That was putting it super lightly, and leaving out a bunch of details, but he was too excited about entering a room to spare time dumping more lore. If he'd been asked before proposing the idea, he'd probably have been more willing.
"Yes! There's Argalia, that lance, Hippogriff, La Black Luna, and Luna Break Manual!" He was back to calling his book by it's improvised name again, as after the war it's true one had eluded his mind once more. The Rider hoped he'd get to show all those off eventually.
He spun around with a laugh, figuring he'd explained enough for now. If Julius reeeally wanted to know more he could always ask later. Astolfo went over to his chosen door and went on through with no hesitation.
The room inside was beyond anything he could have imagined, especially to someone from his time period. It was futuristic in architecture with pillars covered in blue lights rising here and there from the hexagonal tiled floor. "Oh wow!" The feeling of awe didn't last long however, because as soon as Astolfo made his way to the center of the tile he was on, something instantly felt wrong.
A flash of weakness overcame him and he had to hold his arms out to keep from falling over. It felt like something had drained away his energy, leaving him light headed.

Julius lifted his eyebrows, She's dead? So, she was a ghost? A servant in the afterlife? That was...strange. He wasn't sure if he was ready to fully believe it or if it was easier to think she was pulling his leg. So what, she was in some war full of ghosts basically? Or...was.
The viper quietly followed behind as he entered the room. This almost looked like the city plaza in Vers, it creeped him out a little. He's never seen something so modern in the house, and for a while he didn't think the house was capable of something like this. He stared at the glowing pillars as they walked, their footsteps echoing with each step.
Tilting his head when Astolfo was ready to fall over, he quickly approached from behind, joining her onto the platform. Before he could open his mouth to ask if she was alright, Julius almost lost his balance. "...what the ****." he breathed, dropping his cigarette. He inhaled deeply as he stepped off of the platform. His reaction following Astolfo's couldn't be a coincidence. "O-oi..." He rubbed this temple, "I think you should get off of that." A quiet hum could be heard now across the room.

"Y-yeah!" Astolfo followed Julius' advice and stumbled off the tile. This was nothing like that last room at all. The only effect that one had had on him was cutting off his access to Hippogriff. He reached up and patted his face a few times, trying to clear his mind.
It felt like part of his entire being had been cut away...
Just in case, the servant figured he'd switch into his battle attire as well, so he closed his eyes and willed his outfit to magically change.
But nothing happened...
"W-what?" He tried again, only for it to produce the same results. "Uh oh..." He was starting to get an idea of what had just happened to him, and it wasn't good. Next he tried summoning Argalia again, but it didn't appear either, and was proof enough to prove his fears true.
"I think that thing... Somehow absorbed my abilities." That feeling before had been from the loss of his NPs, since they made up part of his existence. Losing them all together felt like losing an important organ or body part.
When the humming reached Astolfo's ears, his pink gaze shot around the room as he tried to pinpoint the source. A familiar shape caught the corner of his eye, them to widen in suprise and him to forget about the hum. It was Hippogriff, lazily floating in the air.
"Heeey buddy!" The Rider called to his mount, waving his arms and jumping around to get the beast's attention. He had no idea how Griff had got here, but it was a welcome sight regardless. "Boy am I glad to see you!"
The creature's head slowly tilted to look at the source of the yelling, and the way it moved alone was enough to tell Astolfo something was up. "Uhh, Hippogriff? What's wrong?" There was no life in it's eyes, no sign of the air headed, but friendly beast it normally was, and the way it glared at Astolfo was enough to drive a cold shard of anxiety into it's master's chest.
Something that almost never happened...
As if he knew what was going to happen next, Astolfo bolted away from Julius as fast as he could go. As predicted, hippogriff let out a screech and took off after him, it's body starting to glow in a blue light. Even with his super human speed, the servant couldn't move as fast as his ride and it slowly began getting closer. It didn't matter to him though, as his only goal was to keep Hippogriff from targeting Julius.

Julius felt weaker than before, already he was beginning to hate this room. The pillars continued to glow blue as if nothing else had changed, but the humming had grown louder. Something's about to happen... The viper didn't know what exactly to anticipate, but he had the feeling it was going to be something they weren't going to like. "What is it?" He lifted his head, half-expecting to see something appear. Nothing out of the ordinary yet. His eyes then widened at Astolfo's conclusion. "Is that so?" To see it for himself, he lifted his arm, trying to summon his corrupted shadow.
Nothing.
So she was right. He didn't seem particularly worried, if anything, it almost excited him. His attention was brought to whatever Astolfo was talking to. It flew in the distance and seemed to be headed towards the two of them. So that's the Hippofgriff. It wasn't exactly the body of a horse, he didn't see any hooves. It reminded him of the Gryphons at home. The way it looked however...It's almost as it saw the two as prey.
Julius didn't understand for a minute why Astolfo was running from him, but he quickly put two and two together when he saw the creature head straight for her. He grinned, I appreciate your concern for others, but that won't do here. He quickly ran after the servant and whistled as loud as he could, seeing if he could get the creature's attention. It was unfortunate that there weren't any rocks around, otherwise he'd be pelting the Hippogriff with them.

“I’ve been in a couple of rooms.” Kelsier corrected the vampire, thinking back to the lodge. “One of them had a lot of good food.” He had been warned about the rooms, but only briefly, and he was definitely not one to play on the safe side. Besides, the only rooms he’d been in had been kind of fun, not at all dangerous, so he had his suspicions about those warnings. He didn’t really think he’d been lied to, but he also knew he was a lot more capable than most people were, so he wasn’t that worried about it. “Certainly.” He agreed, and started for the hall. Somehow, it always looked bigger than he’d remembered it. The mistborn glanced at Maladict, a playful expression twisting one side of his mouth up in a sideways smile. “Care to do the honors, Mal?” The vampire allowed his hand to rest on the nearest door handle. He blinked once, trying to think back to if he had ever opened a room before or not. He didn't really like that he had. He pushed the door open, looking back at Kelsier to make sure he was following before stepping across the threshhold. He was at once faced with trees larger than he'd seen before and most of which weren't even close to native on the Disc. He turned slowly, eyebrows rising. "Weird," he muttered. "I'm not into botany ... but this is weird. Is this size normal in trees for you?" (I was just trying to remember if there were any rooms left by the wayside but gave up and dropped them in Echo's forest room that currently going on.) (Oof, sorry for the long poof. And that room sounds good!) Kelsier followed the vampire inside. And froze. His hazel eyes went very wide and his mouth slipped open as he took it all in...all the green. It was beautiful, even more beautiful than Sazed had described, than Mare had imagined and dreamt of. He took a step forward and caught his breath as the grass didn’t crumble into dust under his boots. It was soft, greener than anything he’d ever seen before, and so alive. The mistborn bent down slowly and removed his glove so that he could touch the soft, mossy forest floor. For perhaps the first time in his life words failed him, and he simply crouched there and brushed the impossible with the tips of his fingers. When he finally found his voice again he gave a quiet, strangled sort of laugh that was raw with emotion. “No. My world is nothing like this...although some say it was, once. I heard that plants could be soft and green, and trees could crowd together and cover the sun with their leaves, but I never could quite imagine it. My wife...my wife could, though. She had a picture of a flower.” He gave another shaky laugh and straightened up. It was difficult to look away from the forest long enough to scan the older blinker’s expression, but he managed it. “I take it your world has green plants, too?”

Riley gazed toward the door that Rae pointed out, quirking an eyebrow as she explained. "Endless?" He murmured. Well, at the very least, one couldn't get bored here, with so many doors to explore. "Explore... sure, we could do that at some point, if you like." Though, he wasn't quite sure how helpful he could be, unless there was some type of magic... but even then... "What's a mermaid?" Riley asked, turning his attention back to Rae as she explained some of the rooms she'd been in. They way she had dropped the word, it sounded like it was a pretty well known thing, and he felt a bit odd asking, but she had been so kind to explain snow, he figured that this wouldn't make him look any more stupid than that had.

"I appreciate your concern, but I can assure you that I do not require everyone to loose in order for me to-" Raizel had softly spoken, his hand on a bright red joy con. He was playing a game with the others in his home, and yet after loosing so many rounds; Frankenstein suggested everyone should loose at least once. In protest to the comment, Raizel confidently addressed the room, and yet it seemed all in vain. Mid sentence he blinked, to find his setting had drastically changed from his living room to this distant living room in who knows where. "-win.." He couldn't help but mutter out with a sigh. The joy con was no longer in his hand, such a shame... but given the logic; everyone would assume he just dropped it in frustration when he returned to his own world. Now that he was here there wasn't much else to do but look around.

“Oh-!” Ougi blinked in holding a small wooden tray of tea; from her initial surprised reaction one would think that the Paradox House had thrust this tray into her hands right when she appeared, because the first thing she did was stumble forward and fling the two full cups of tea straight forward into Raizel. Funnily enough, she kept the tray itself clutched in her hands, having a firm grip under her floppy sleeves. After catching herself by planting one foot forward, bringing her body back to a stand and letting her skirt, sleeves, and hair settle back into place, she let out a relieved, celebratory sigh. “My, that was quite close,” she commented, with complete disregard in that initial statement for any damage done to Raizel. She addressed that next, and weakly at that. “Excuse me... I just had to carry this tea.” To where? For whom? Questions for which she didn’t even hint at revealing the answers. Further evidence that she had been given this scalding tea and mysteriously tripped explicitly to attack another blinker with it.

Raizel's head turned in response to the sound of someone else. That seemed to be the least of his worries, there were two cups flying at him, as if the world had suddenly decided to attack him with inanimate objects. His sight sharpened, and his scarlet gaze illuminated rapidly. Using his Aura manipulation he created a barrier which held the two cups and liquid tea midair. Next he manipulated the small spaces so that the liquid tea would return to each individual cup. Once whole, the cups were returned to the tray from whence they came. Seeing that Ougi had a strong grip on the tray, Raizel couldn't help but place a hand over his chest; letting out a sigh of relief. "The tea is safe.." He softly spoke up. His attention returning to the individual before him. His eyes would occasionally glance at the tea, "That smells like fine tea." He couldn't help but appreciate. His gaze softened from its previous tesne reaction. "If you don't mind, may I have a taste?" He now asked, a part of him wanted to just snatch the cup but seeing as it wasn't Frankenstein, it would then be considered rude.

"Where are you from?" Dipper watched in anticipation at the boy's answer earning the other blinker a rather calm look than previous times. If he so wanted to, taking a flimsy butterknife he would have cut through the unsettling awkwardness of the encounter by now. "I'm from Earth too. Different Earths. 2012." He stated in a matter of fact tone. There was always the possibility they'd come from the same place but that as slim for he had yet to encounter anyone of his own universe inside the house. The same could probably said for most of the other blinkers as well. "Have you seen anything odd recently? Like, aliens or magic in your world?" The curious blinker, asked raising his brow. Many had a backstory of accidental occurrences or ones that left them changed forever, Will did appear shocked at the beginning - suspicious would also work.

Ougi stopped and stared at the cups when she realized they were suddenly back on the tray, and the dark gaze rose to look at Raizel in... what was that, disappointment? She seemed to be out of energy to cause more havoc at any rate, and instead she knelt to place the tray with the safe tea on the nearby coffee table. At least he appreciated a good cup of tea, the high school student supposed to herself. Only when the tray had been set on the table and she had stood up away from it did she reply, “Yes, go ahead,” in a mumble. With her stature, she acted as though these preliminary moves had been protocol to avoid any physical contact. The pink cuff of her sleeve was in front of her mouth while she looked on, those voidlike eyes requesting that he try her tea. It was (unpoisoned) green tea without accoutrements, and indeed gave off a simple yet pleasant aroma.

"Probably not long," said Myrnin to Chamomile, blinking owlishly. "She's always blinking in. I think she just does it so she can use me for target practice." Which was fine. He didn't mind. He looked at the couch, slightly miffed the House hadn't left her around to finish what she was going to say or so Myrnin could have grilled her more about her world. Still, he'd make sure to remember his questions and try again next time. She wasn't going to get away from him forever. She'd have to tell him what she was doing. The vampire yawned, forgetting about Nore for the time beings and picking up one of her loose candy wrappers. "Litter, litter," he tisked, sticking it into his pockets. He looked over his shoulder at Chamomile, asking, "So how are you doin-" Then he was cut off as he blinked out (with the candy wrapper because Mint's letting him take something to remember Nore by! Even if it's trash ... which is probably a metaphor ...) (Personal note because it's the only way I'm going to keep track of anything: Reply to Echo, reply to Hawk, reblink Myrnin into Bumper Car room if needed.) (gonna wrap this up for closure!) Chamomile stared pensively at the now empty couch avoiding to meet the vampire's sharp gaze. "I hope so too." She murmured under her breath in response to the Myrnin's wishful thinking. What was left for either them to do was to go on and hope for only the best of their rambunctious acquaintance. And hope she would. "Well then..." She glanced at the wrappers swiftly getting picked up deft hands only for them to vanish on cue. As the words were spoken the mage had blinked out.

Pallet blinked into the House, a smirk on her face. Her normally bright blue and happy eyes were a deep crimson, and curved horns protruded from her head. Her high necked tank top and mini skirt were a skin tight, translucent dress, that swept against the floor and sparkled with light blue crystals. "Come now, Beelzebub-," her smirk fell into a frown when she realized that the party was no longer in front of her. The Demon sighed, her dress bursting into small, controlled blue flames that spread across her body until the dress became her normal tank top and mini-skirt. Her red eyes turned blue, and the horns disappeared. "Here again." She groaned, looking around the room to see if there were any interesting parties. "Oh, hello." Pallet greeted, smiling sweetly when she noticed two people she'd not met before.

Seeing Ougi set the tea safely on the side, he couldn't help but release a soft smile. "I hope things are going well for you" He politely addressed his new company. "Given your motion, I take it things were rather busy." He couldn't help but share his observations, or was he mind reading again? Being given the invitation to drink, he politely nodded to Ougi, before kneeling down to reach for a cup of tea. With the cup at hand, he stood up once again taking in a rather appreciative smell of its aurora. Next he took a sip of tea, with a murmur of happiness. "Lovely." He softly replied. In that time another individual called out to them, it was a young lady whom he was unfamiliar with. Turning his attention to politely nod, he decided to speak up a little. "Hello." He spoke to the new individual. See... i'm trying Despite the young lady's appearance it was evident that she was not human, given her aurora. Nonetheless it mattered to him not on what she was, it was how she reacted which he found to be of most importance.

Ougi gave Raizel a look of humble suspicion. “I hope things are going well for you, too,” she answered to copy his phrasing. She looked on expectantly while he took one of the cups and drank from it, but then her gaze focused on something else in her periphery: Pallet. They seemed to be affected by an oddity, but not one the student was familiar with. Surely if her uncle were here—and he was officially her uncle now, she believed—he would be able to identify the infliction in an instant. She was growing more aware that the Paradox House was a place where they congregated. “And who might you be?” she interrogated. Then, with nearly completely different inflection to her voice, she said amicably, “Want some tea?” She was holding out the second cup with her arm completely outstretched toward the newcomer. Unfortunately, a smile did not accompany the offer, not even her typical malicious-looking one.

Pallet's zone in on Raizel almost immediately, as she was unsure if the young woman in front of her was attracted to other women. The demon's aura, along with non-human, was clearly meant to suck in people's attention and physically attract them to her. "Hi," Pallet's smile, along with kind, was also a bit flirtatious. "I'm Pallet Glaceman, of Cocytus." She introduced herself politely to both of the Housemates, her gaze gauging their reaction to the name of her home. The Ninth Ring of Hell, the cell of Lucifer, and keeper of traitors. Her kind, innocent blue gaze turning to Ougi when the girl offered tea. "Sure, thank you." The Demon took the tea without hesitation and sipped it. "Delicious." She complimented. Her personality was as sweet as honey and seemingly naively innocent, everything down to the sound of her voice was meant to pull in any number of people.
