Eises wanted to ask about Sevens' blindfold, but wasn't sure how rude that would be of her. Would it be the same as people asking her about her eyepatch? It's not like Eises could tell the truth behind that however, she always had to find some consistent lie to make people satisfied. "What's a B type?" She guessed that was some kind of android. Her cheeks reddened again, "I-It's nothin' special really. I still have a long way to go..." She was nowhere near the level of her master or the dragon duo, plus she could barely keep up with Julius when they fought. "I dunno if I have the strength to crush things, so I just stick to stabbin' or burnin' them." She awkwardly laughed. Of course, she did have the strength if Calibris was involved, it's happened before after all. Using that much of Calibris' power wasn't something she wanted to get into the habit of doing however. And what's wrong with using my power? He sneered. Eises struggled to clear her mind to prevent retorting back. "A Battler. They specialize in heavy fighting." And they were only one of a sizable list of different models. While they were on the subject, 7S figured she might as well give a quick rundown on the different types, thinking that the wolf might find it interesting. "In terms of combat models, there's also the Defenders and Cancellers. The first of those functioning as the shield of the squad they're with, while the other are sent in to thwart enemy attack plans." You didn't see many of those last ones around anymore, since they were an older model. Then again, 7S wasn't exactly a new one herself, especially since the production of new female model S types had been pretty much ceased almost a year ago, a few months after her rollout date. "For support, you have the Healers, Scanners and Operators. Healers stay on the sidelines and tend to any units hurt in battle that are still salvageable. Operators stay up in the base and manage mission assignments, intel uploads and the like." Pausing before she had finished, 7S pointed at herself with a thumb, closing her eyes and sporting a proud grin. "Scanners, like me, are experts in espionage and data gathering. There's no piece of technology out there we can't hack into with enough effort, and no information we can't find out." She deliberately left out the part about being cursed with insatiable curiosity. Deflating the airs she had temporarily put on, 7S tilted her head and let out a huff, eyelids lowering part way. "So? Doesn't mean still you can't be proud of it." She cast her gaze aside for a second. "Take me for example. My type isn't made for combat. In fact, we aren't even supposed to be able to use weapons at all. But yet, after months of repurposing parts of my system, analyzing B type combat logs and just practicing in general, here we are." As if on cue, Faith teleported from the Android's back and into her hand. She lifted the blade up and rested it on both palms to show it off. "Even still, my fighting skill is still no match compared to any of the combat units, as made, er...obvious earlier when I couldn't even avoid getting hit by those projectiles. But it's still something I'm proud of regardless." Except when it consistently fails to keep others safe... Hell, you can't even keep yourself safe half the time...Sure, that last sentence was a lie, but she wasn't saying this stuff for her own benefit. Realizing she had started rambling, 7S stood completely still, before Faith vanished and she cleared her throat awkwardly. "A-anyway, it doesn't matter if your ability isn't as good as someone else's. You can still be proud of it." She completely hopped from one subject to the next, as if nothing had happened. "Hmm. If you prefer that way, what about trying to make a spear?" Yeah, that was slightly less unique then a pair of big bracers, but it sounded like it'd be more up Eises ally. "And not just a big chunk of sharp ice, something more... Personalized?"

"It'll get better though, right?" Eises always struggled with encouraging words. It wasn't entirely easy if she didn't know the whole situation either. She crossed her arms, "Just gotta keep your chin up, yeah?" It was the best she could do for now.
"Oh right." she shrugged, not knowing a whole lot what college was about. Evina had told her that it's supposed to help with careers, but Eises never understood how. How does it help when you're just sitting around listening to someone ramble instead of...actually doing the career? Maybe she could ask about it later.
Did Noctin even know what a picture was? Eises thought about Rae's explanation for a bit before taking out her phone. As expected, it didn't turn on, but she didn't need to turn it on to explain. "You take a phone and press this button here." She pointed to a button on the side, "And it takes like uh...it's like an instant paintin', but without the paint."

"Oh, nothing's going on," Nore told him, scrunching up her face and waving a bound hand at Myrnin when he addressed her. It was no big deal apparently. She couldn't tell if he had just blinked in or if he had been standing there all this time, but she sure was glad he was around. "Help me out?" she requested, raising her hands so that her arms were more directly out in front of her and toward the vampire. She was assuming he could deal with it of course, but more than that, she was assuming he would. Fair, but also presumptuous as usual. "Nothin' really, all part of the plan. But I might as well get you to do this to speed up the process." She jingled the chains, as if calling over a pet. "Anyway, sounds like it's still this place. Wanna snowball fight?" Myrnin raised an eyebrow. Calling a pet wasn't what he liked. He didn't miss the comparison either. Nore, as usual, had dodged the question. He gripped the chain which ran between each hand. He didn't snap it, though he could have easily. Instead, he tugged it enough that Nore would either had to lean forward or face-plant on the floor (and the second hand was out in case she decided to do the latter). He wanted her attention. Wanted her to pay attention. "You'd tell me if you were in any trouble ...?" he asked, voice even and serious. "Wouldn't you? Because these aren't trick cuffs. Which they use in movies and plays." He was frowning, manic smile of usual replaced. "If the plan gets you hurt, I'd be very sad." Then he moved both his hands to her wrists and the metal gave with a shriek, almost cutting the woman, as he pulled the pieces away. "Flimsy," he said with a sigh. "You humans make such flimsy things ..." He looked in the direction of the outside and her suggestion. He shrugged one shoulder. "I would win if we did. Snowball fight, that is."

Loki quirked an eyebrow at Myrnin's explanation of the cold's affect on him, storing it away- as Myrnin had predicted- in their memory in case it ever became relevant. Of course, the information was useless without some sort of freezing power, but they figured it wouldn't hurt to know.
"Mmm. Sounds like an interesting holiday, at least." A whole day dedicated to mischief? Loki very much approved. They noted that April Fool's seemed, once again, to be a Midgardian holiday. Hm.
"We have four main holidays; two at the solstices, two at the equinoxes." Loki answered, covering the basics of the Norse holiday system. They weren't sure what would be considered odd or unusual to the vampire, not knowing what was usually celebrated in his world. "During Midsummer's Day- the summer solstice- a burning wheel is rolled down a hill to celebrate the passage of time."

Noctin shrugged slightly. "Sure," he mumbled, then gladly turned to the topic of college and photography. Things that had zero connection to his world, thankfully.
"Not really," he said. "The people in the Upper Ring are educated privately by tutors." They were the most educated in terms of essentially everything. Literacy, history, social customs, etc. Everyone else in the Lower Ring either learned a trade or something else that would help them survive. "Learning is important," he said firmly. "It's good that you're learning more."
As Eises pulled out a little flat box, he nodded slightly. "I've seen other blinkers with those," he said, moving closer to look at it. He had no idea what it did or what its purpose was, but they must be important if so many people had them. "Instant paintings?" he echoed, almost in disbelief. Had it not been for the impossible things he'd seen the House do, he'd laugh and think Eises was making it up. "So it just makes a picture of whatever you point it at?"

"During Midsummer's Day- the summer solstice- a burning wheel is rolled down a hill to celebrate the passage of time." Myrnin had noticed, along with Loki, that the holidays seemed to center around Earth - and mainstream Earth holidays as well. He saw none of the ones he had been familiar with in his youth. But then again, he hardly remembered those to begin with. Loki's mention of the burning wheel caused him to grin. "Oh, I think I've heard of that one. Not particularly unusual, to someone as old as me at least. It might cause a couple of the humans to raise their eyebrows." He reached into a pocket, while he was talking, and pulled out a few gears which he could fiddle around with as he thought. They looked liked small wheels, for that matter. He tilted his head, looking at Loki with a half amused mischief in his own eyes. "What do you think? Actively, I mean? I've been dying - figuratively speaking - to know what you think the House is. I've heard a lot of different things in my time here."

Shilo beamed at Neb's compliment. Positive reinforcement was a new concept to her, after all. "That's why you go for the major ligaments first," the six year old shot back, crossing her arms. She'd already been learning this stuff. "And it isn't too obvious if you go in from behind." A hint as to what she was learning. Though she was to be taught hand to hand combat, the real lessons were about killing without being detected. Assassination. Though, it was still years before she would openly practice such a thing, her father was very clear cut about the line of work and what he was teaching her. He also understood that his daughter was capable of learning this information and retaining it. He also knew that the younger she started, the more desensitized she would become, making the job just that much easier. After all, she'd already learned not to hesitate. Though, maybe she wouldn't have been so quick to attack if it had been Enjolras or Danny or Vincent who had offered.
As the man addressed Neb, Shilo crossed her arms over her chest and looked him up and down, as if evaluating him. Shilo had already made a questionable choice of friend in Vincent, and though it had been her clone who had talked to him, it's likely the real Shilo also would have been friends with Hook. "Well, if you don't want to fight then," she extended her hand for him to shake. "We can be friends. I'm Shilo Saga, future assassin." It wasn't often that she bragged about that, but she'd also stabbed this guy in the leg, he may as well get an explanation as to why she'd been so ready to do so.

The blissful stillness was suddenly shattered by an impressive slew of curse words. Rex heard Touka racing over to him, a devious plan spontaneously popping into mind. Yeah, that would work. The moment he heard her land beside him, he kicked one leg out, knocking her off her feet. As she fell, he swept as much of the snow as he could onto her, laughing the entire time. "I can't believe you fell for it," he wheezed, tears springing to his eyes from how hard he was laughing at how ridiculous she looked poking haphazardly out of the snow. Touka let out a yelp as she fell unexpectedly backwards, hitting the snow with an oof as the air was knocked from her lungs. Next thing she knew, snow was being piled on top of her, and then, hearing Rex, she realized that she’d been duped. With that realization, she sat up, narrowing her eyes playfully at the captain. “Ha, ha,” she drawled sarcastically, then, unable to help herself with how amused he was, she began to laugh too, first a chuckle, and then, drawn into the contagiousness of his mood, a more uncontrolled laugh to match his. ”I thought I killed you w-with a snowball,” she wheezed through her laughter, shaking her head.

Nore made a noise inside her closed mouth when she was jerked forward, but she kept the soles of her dusty shoes planted on the floor so that she didn't end up face-first on the ground. She kept her teeth together now when he asked his questions, reticent about what was really going on in her world. Her face was one she made when she thought she had things under control, though. At least, when she was confident she could make them under control as soon as she blinked back. Once she was able to relax, she tried to take back the upper hand. "Are you okay? It's like you're a little flustered." She was likely referring to the kiss with which he blinked in, but there was no way to tell if she could have noticed it. The girl smirked and released herself from the forward bend, now even backward bending slightly out of confidence and rubbing her wrists. "Not sure if you're gonna win today!" And with that, especially before she could be reigned back into interrogation, she bolted off toward the door, threw it open, and danced out into the deep snow. Thankfully, it slowed the troublemaker down enough that she was already tripping and kicking up snowdrifts.

"Some guy who sneaks into houses and delivers presents to bring in 'Christmas'," Julia moved towards the other blinkers, hoping she had got the description at least somewhat right. "She can tell you more. It's something from her world," the dleki woman gestured towards Victoria. She noticed that Maladict's skin was oddly pale, but decided not to comment on it. While such a thing was a symptom of a dleki illness, he didn't seem to be extremely tired like most patients. Possibly he wasn't a dleki and it was simply a normal thing.

Personalized?" Eises lifted both of her eyebrows, "And they're all androids?" It was...very organised. It reminded her a little of the mercenary groups back home. "It's kinda like that back at The Echo: Some squads gotta stay at base and deal with info and communications. Others are out doing the actual work. Everyone has to know how to fight though, even the Healers." It was more of a precaution, you never know after all. There have been a few times when Niera had to fight for herself or protect others, despite her being the squad's healer. "My squad mostly does fightin' and guardin' stuff. This one time we had to investigate though." That mission was left to just her and Evina, there wasn't anyone else better suited for it out of her squad. Now that Eises thought about it, 7S was even prettier without her blindfold. The wolf forced herself to look away, feeling the heat on her cheeks. It was a good thing Evina wasn't here to notice. "I...I guess so." The demitheian hated to admit it, but she supposed there were some things she could be proud of. How many missions has she been in? And she was still alive, wasn't she? That in itself was an accomplishment. She was curious to see more of Sevens' fighting ability, but she thought better than to ask to spar with her. While the android continued speaking, Eises had a sudden idea. She knelt down and started to gather the snow together, once it was big enough, she started to slowly roll it up to gather more snow. The entire time, she faced 7S so the latter could know she was still listening and not rudely ignoring her. "Oh! Sometimes I throw like...they're like lances." She couldn't help but grin, "When an enemy is far away and I just wanna aim for their head, I use lances to throw. Other times I use 'em to launch myself into the air. Does that count?"

Sherlock blinked into the lodge, his deerstalker balanced sideways on his black curls as though he had placed it there and immediately forgotten about it. He was, at least, dressed for the cold in his long black coat. His bright blue eyes lit up as he saw where he was, and the edges of his mouth curled up in a cheery smile as he noticed who else was there. “Myrnin! Nore!” He said excitedly as he moved to join them in the snow. “Finally, it’s been ages for me, John says he doesn’t know what’s gotten into me, he even said he thought I must be pining for something but the poor man has no clue why so eventually he gave up and went out to eat without me.” The detective grinned, apparently unconcerned about the headache he had probably caused. “Anyway, it’s about time the lodge came around again, isn’t it? Last time someone burned it down, so it’s good to see the House is giving us another go of things, eh?”

Myrnin flushed again as Nore hit the mark she'd been aiming for. "Am not," he muttered under his breath, successfully diverted from his questions. He watched her dart off, through the doors, and rolled his eyes. She reminded him a bit too much of himself. Only he wasn't as good at dodging questions - the running off for the snowball fight was just what he'd do to. He trotted after her, into what he presumed was the cold. He didn't feel that cold, but he assumed by the way her breath clouded around Nore that she was effected. He chuckled, hunching over as he watched the other blinkers. "Do your worst Nore ... I'm sure you're bound to hit me at least once." He cast Sherlock a sideways looked as he turned up, pleased. "Hello Shirley!" he said cheerily, clearly still remembering 'Shirley'. "Yes, and it was gracious enough to actually blink me in this time. It's all been rather dull compared to last time, truthfully. Not one thing set on fire." He didn't know about the wayward burnt tree that Mikhail had set alight. "Though we seem to have a growing snowball fight." He rubbed his hands together and then dived at the nearest snow pile. "Heeheehee."

At least her parents had kept up with her college funds growing up so she could attend easier. Rae let out a small laugh. "But yeah. You get done with one school and then move onto another to do it all again." She watched when Eises pulled out a phone and as Noctin examined it, smiling at the tone in his voice when he spoke. She wondered about how his reaction would be if he actually got to see it in action. Maybe she could make a mental note to carry a few photos with her for next time to show. "Yep," she said, "and there's different kinds, like Eises' phone, or cameras which are specifically made to capture better pictures."

"You could aim for the heart, but that's too obvious, kiddo," Greed reasoned, "Plus, it's not always easy to do that." Entertained by Shilo's curiosity, he lifted a playful hand to ruffle her hair. Still, it was strange to see a child wielding knives. Then again, he did hear from one of the chimeras that there was a young teenager working in the military as a State Alchemist. Humans must be getting desperate. "Hm?" The Homunculus tilted his head to the side as if confused with Neb's comment. With a dismissive wave of his hand, Greed added, "What? Gotta give the kids some life tips. Anyways, I've lost my interest in fighting your little group, missy. You don't have anything I want." Shilo beamed at Neb's compliment. Neb watched Shilo offer the man a handshake and finally let her posture grow more lax, opting to cross her arms over her chest. "I'm Nebula Star," she went ahead to introduce herself.

Noctin didn't sound convinced, Eises didn't blame him, she didn't offer much help after all. If she'd known what was going on, she'd try to give actual advice, but it's not something she would try to force out of him if he doesn't want to talk about it. Maybe he'll be more willing at a future time.
"Evi's told me you have to pay a lot of money for them." Again, Eises wouldn't know herself. "Havin' to pay a lot just to learn sounds pretty dumb to me. Like a scam." Couldn't you just jump right into the career? Why go through all the trouble and money for a college? It didn't make much sense to her, but it was never really explained to her either.
"Yeah, you just press the button and it takes a picture. I'd show you, but...." The house seemed to hate electronics for whatever reason. Maybe it was a good thing, she wasn't sure if she wanted either of the two to scroll through all the pictures of Evina she has. That'd be embarrassing.
"Oi, since it's been a while, why don't we do a room?" The wolf started to walk over, not remembering which door led to the hallway and which door led outside. She stopped by a small table that had a bowl of decorated snacks. Excitement blazed through her eyes as she took a cookie and started munching on it.

"Oh-ho-ho... You don't wanna see my worst!" She was still charging through the knee-high snow until she heard a familiar voice. Nore's eyebrows raised so that they showed over her sunglasses and she jerked her head back to turn it toward Sherlock, feet poised where she had just plunged them into the snow. A grin spread across her face and she hurriedly formed a snowball, sending it flying with rather good aim toward the lodge where the detective stood. "Yeah yeah, don't go getting sentimental!" she called, raising her voice to compensate for the snow around her absorbing it. Before there was time for responses, she started bounding through the snow again, raising her feet high and leaping from side to side with every stride. She soon dropped her bow and quiver and bent at the waist and knees to bundle up some more snowballs.

"It's dumb," Noctin agreed with Eises. "It just makes sure people can't learn important things, and that makes it easier to manipulate them." Like the Hunters did to take advantage of people who had nowhere else to go. But at least they were trying to solve that problem.
"Maybe we will get lucky and the House will let it work," he said, glancing around the room. He didn't understand why the House banned technology, but then he didn't really understand technology in the first place. The little phones seemed harmless enough, even though he'd never seen one turned on. Brightening up at the prospect of a room, he nodded. "Yes, let's do a room!" It'd be better than just standing around here, and he had a good feeling about doing a room.

Eises thought Noctin was looking into it a bit too much, she just saw it more of just people with power being assholes. "If you say so." She replied to Rae. "I dunno much about how school works, and you know more than I do." She remembered Evi also getting upset at her for not understanding, so clearly it was something she wasn't getting.
Taking a few more cookies and some candy, Eises munched away as she chose one of the doors and saw that it led to the hallway. Good, she didn't pick the one that led outside. "I hope it's a good one..." Her mouth was still full when she spoke. The hallway was also decorated and unusually bright. She didn't understand why everything had to be red, green, and white. She did have to wonder, if the living room and hall were winter-based right now, would the rooms be too? Or was it still completely random?
Quickly finishing the rest of the snacks, wishing she took the whole bowl, the wolf opened one of the decorated doors. Still a void... Looking back momentarily to see if the other two were still following her, she flicked her tail and walked inside.

“Don’t call me Shir-“ Sherlock yelped as the snowball hit him square in the face and exploded, momentarily blinding him as he stumbled, slipped on a patch of ice, and landed in the snow. The detective sat up immediately, grinning back at the girl. “Ha.” He retorted in a lofty tone. “I’m hardly sentimental about this place, just bored of hunting down amateurs that don’t even think to wear gloves. Honestly the next time I solve a case by dusting for fingerprints like a normal human should be capable of doing on their own, I’m going to break something valuable.” He huffed and got to his feet, surreptitiously scooping up a handful of snow as he did. “But enough about my boring world, what’s up with you two? Anything interesting I missed?” He glanced from Myrnin to Nore and back again, weighing the snowball in his hand. He would get Nore back, soon, but if he did it now she would see it coming and dodge it, so it was better to wait and catch her off guard. With that thought in mind, he turned suddenly and threw the snowball at Myrnin as hard as he could.

"I guess. But, what are you gonna do if you don't succeed in stabbing them in the back? You're gonna get dragged into a fight," Greed groaned. Damn, it felt weird to be lectured by a little kid on proper murder tactics of all things. There was another feeling that accompanied it, but he couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was. Perhaps it was some side-effect of hanging around humans instead of his fellow Homunculi for too long? The Homunculus' now surprised eyes widened slightly when Shilo offered her hand to him, yet he didn't question it. Rewarding her with a toothy grin, he lowered himself to shake her small hand. "Shilo Saga and Nebula Star, huh? Nice to meetcha. The name's Greed and just like my name, I want everything this world has to offer."
"–is it made out of?" A familiar ruler questioned as she examined a ring that possessed a forest green gem. A shiver coursed down her spine when she was suddenly hit by a chilling breeze, snapping her out of her thoughts. Confused, she glanced around her new surroundings, a snowy place with a wooden lodge nearby. Did she once again blink into the house after so many months? Riliane grumbled a little and crossed her arms over her chest to shield herself herself from the cold.

Hyacindiemo blinked in. His tail shot straight up at the sudden cold. Here again? He noticed that this time he seemed to be outside of the lodge rather than inside. The cold wasn't too much of a problem for him, all he had to do was activate his magic to warm him up. He was like a living and breathing heater. Before he could do so, his eye caught a familiar cheeky princess who looked cold.
A malicious grin spread across his cheeks. Quickly, he grabbed a handful of snow and compacted it into a ball. With no hesitation, he threw it hard and watched as it hit right on the back of her head.

Snowball fighting outside the lodge -- Myrnin "Why break something valuable," Myrnin quipped. "When you could just -" he leaned completely backwards, somehow able to tell the snowball was coming without, and landing with a 'whump' on his back in snow "-Very sneakily mess with all inhabitants?" He was making a snow angel now, but also grabbing several handfuls of snow while he was at it. "For example ..." He had at least three snowballs now. He lobbed one at Sherlock, but it exploded mid-air from the force of the toss. He'd misjudged and tried to blur his movement. It was too fast for the poor snow. He didn't seem to care and instead rolled away from his snow furrow and started to crawl out of the way of an expected attack. "These incompetent humans ... I am sure they would not like to have their incompetence analyzed?" Though he was sure Sherlock had already done just that. He could hear the detective's voice in his head, doing it. He had more snowballs. The two remaining ones were thrown with less force toward Nore and the vampire continued to keep moving around, watching everyone warily for more snow.

A surprised, but enraged screech tore from her lips when something firm slammed into the back of her head. Chunks of snow slid down her back, making her whimper in frustration. What kind of degenerate would throw a snowball at the ruler of Lucifenia?! Her hands clenched, she turned around and narrowed her eyes at the first person she saw. Hyac. She muttered something unladylike, before marching over to him. "You! Didn't I tell you not to annoy me?! Is this how to greet royalty?" She snarled, "I should have you executed, peasant!"

Hyacin lifted his head in a fit of laughter. That was the exact response he was hoping for. Her fury and threats only amused him further. It was hard to take someone as small as her so seriously. "What are you gonna do about it, huh?" He playfully taunted, fully knowing that would only frustrate her more. He picked up another handful of snow,"You? Kill me? I'd like to see you try." With that, he threw more snow at her, this time straight to her face.

Riliane growled at him. Right, he was some kind of dragon creature. As much as she hated to admit it, she couldn’t defeat him using normal means...well, at the moment at least. The corner of her lips curved into a small smile. She could always fake a few tears to get her way. She suddenly yelped when another snowball collided into her face. Instead of snapping at him, the princess dramatically fell back, covering her face with her freezing hands. “Ouch!” She whined and sniffled.

Nore cackled when Sherlock fell, soaking in the success. She moved with much more confidence than when she first lost her sight. She wanted to make a retort about whether or not they even had fingerprint testing in his time period, but he was already moving on to another topic. She had a snowball ready and more at her feet as she stood upright again. “Nothin’ much. Everyone here’s the same as always!” Usually that was her way of saying she had no idea and didn’t care what others were up to, but she had actually gotten used to many of the other blinkers. “How long-“ She was interruped by the snowball that flung at Myrnin, and then from the ones sent by Myrnin toward her. She could tell the vampire was going easy on her, but still she acted as though she had an advantage as she dodged them. “Come on, you can do better than that!” Several more snowballs came hurdling toward the vampire, mostly just to provoke him. She had already started running away as soon as the last one parted with her hand.
