"No, it's still the same as it's always been. But," Enjolras said, remembering back to that tearful goodbye in the lodge, how he'd realized that the House had given someone to remember Neb, back when they thought no one was going to make it. And now the House had once again given them a gift. "It gave you back to us."
Enjolras took a step back, letting the pair meet again- or meet for the first time, in a way. Having Shilo back was a classic example of the House- kindness and cruelty all wrapped up into one and twisted around a hundred times. She was here, and yet, not. It wasn't their Shilo.

"-thing okay?" Arlo asked in a whisper as she blinked in sitting on the floor, looking worriedly up at someone who was no longer in front of her. When her surroundings changed, the eleven year old blinked a couple of times, then slowly looked around the room. It looked the same as it had last time, which wasn't particularly surprising since she'd just been there a few seconds ago, but there were different blinkers in the room. Shilo, Enjolras, and a young woman that she didn't recognize.
"Hello," she said finally to the small group of blinkers as she got to her feet, her voice still a little quiet. She wasn't quite sure what was going on with them, but she felt a little like she was intruding. "Is everything okay?" she repeated the questiong she'd been trying to ask her mother only a couple seconds ago.

Neb's long ears twitched up at the sound of another approaching voice. She glanced from Enjolras and felt another breath catch as her throat tightened. "Arlo?" The House wasn't giving her any breaks here, was it? It could have at least waited until someone told her everything... Ah, she realized she'd spoken the other girl's name before she had a chance to react to Neb. She hoped it wasn't bad on her part to have blurted it out. She assumed this Arlo had no idea about her, which only sent another pang through her chest. "Sorry, um..." Neb looked at Shilo, then back to Arlo, and then again before she shook her head. "Yeah, everything's fine," she said, "I'm just, ah, getting used to the House again. It's been a long time for me."

"Hmm... Hopefully," Arlo's gaze swept over Shilo as she spoke, still concerned, before drifting to the others. They seemed mostly alright from what she could tell, though a bit emotional about something. What had happened? Before she could ask, the young woman with the purple hair noticed her. Though Arlo still didn't recognize her, it was obvious that she recognized Arlo. Her unasked question was now partially answered. "It's okay," she said, smiling slightly as she approached the other blinkers. "And yes, I'm Arlo..." she paused, glancing to Enjolras and Shilo. She knew that both of them had been friends of the other Arlo's, like Kaito who she'd met during her previous blink, and several others before. By now the girl wasn't really surprised to meet more blinkers who'd known her, just a bit sad that she couldn't remember knowing them. "I'm sorry I don't know you yet though... You stopped blinking?"

l Who are we fighting?Calibris' voice grumbled into Eises' mind. It's nothing serious, we're just showing some magic Eises silently replied. She didn't need to hear him to feel his annoyed disappointment. He's just going to have to deal with it. "Y-You don't have to! Don't worry about it." The wolf would hate for Sevens to waste her time on her, she didn't want to be a bother to her. Surely she could come up with something herself, the demitheian would just have think for a bit. "What are bracers, by the way?" The wolf couldn't help but grin, that was fine by her. Using the snow, she summoned several chunks of ice that sharpened by themselves. She side stepped and raised her hand, causing all of them to fly at the android at high speeds. More increased magic readings... "I wouldn't mind. It'd be fun." 7S reassured, crossing her arms and shifting her weight from one foot to another. The idea sounded exciting to her. She could come up with some blueprints, then Eises could forge them with her powers. "Bracers are fist weapons!" She began, "Most of the time they're used for close quarters combat, but sometimes you can improvise. Especially if you're not a combat mo-!" The S type's words were cut off as she saw the frozen projectiles coming her way, her hidden eyes widening in suprise. "T-that's not what I meant!" Instantaneously, her main weapon Faith, appeared from behind her to intercept the attack after a quick arm gesture. The blade managed to slice most of the incoming shards out of the air, but one ended up making it past. 7S barely had enough time to move out of the way, which she tried to do, but the shard managed to graze the side of her face. A long piece of black cloth floated to the ground at her feet, revealing an expression that was no longer suprised, but instead completely blank. Slowly, she reached up to touch the cut that had severed her visor, which was on her right temple. Not to her suprise, she felt the warmth of artificial blood seeping through the velvet glove on her hand. After a few seconds, the serious expression she wore melted away into one of mild, albeit playful irritation. "Ah hell... Now I have to explain this when I get home." Her previous reaction had been brought out by the sudden attack. It was hardwired into her personality to become dead serious and level headed when things suddenly went South, no matter how brief. "Oh! Sometimes I cover my hands in spiky ice before I punch, does that count?" Eises now only had a vague idea of bracers, she'd really like to see some for herself though. If the spiked ice didn't count, she'd be willing to see what exactly these bracers would entail. Any new fighting style was exciting for her, as long as whoever was teaching her wasn't bothered by it. Sevens seemed to be looking forward to it, so maybe the wolf could go through with this. While the Android dealt with the spikes flying through, Eises sprinted around her and approached from behind. Purposefully, she extended her hand to aim just a few inches to the side from Sevens' head and shot out a trail of Serian fire. The purple flame blew into the air, not close enough to burn the Android's hair or clothes, but just enough to feel the heat. She side stepped and was now in front of Sevens, ignoring Calibris' annoyed growls. She could tell he didn't like that she was showing off some of her other powers in a non-serious manner, after all, the two relied on surprises when attacking. It was only now that the demitheian noticed the cut on the robot's face - and the fact that her blindfold wasn't even there anymore. Her eye widened, "A-Are you okay?!" Was that...blood? Or was it just some kind of oil that happened to be red?

Julia nodded. She didn't know exactly what to think of other blinkers having superpowers, but she guessed she'd find out when or if she met them. Turning her head to admire the holiday scenery below once more, she realized that the sleigh was beginning to make a descent. It was heading towards one of the houses. In a few minutes, the reindeer had landed on the roof. "I'm assuming we're supposed to go down the chimney," she eyed the house's chimney, sitting a few feet away from the blinkers' vehicle. Victoria had mentioned this in the story, but Julia certainly needed guidance.

He pulled at his shirt. "No body heat. You stick me out there and I just slowly start going stiff if I don't move around. Icicle Myrnin." It wasn't that bad. But it also wasn't that cold. He still had blood in his body. It circulated, to some extent. But it also was a lot easier to freeze him and burn him than a human. He just wouldn't die from the former. It would just be really, really annoying. Which brought up another point. Maybe he shouldn't have been telling the Norse deity of Trickery how you could make a ice-pop out of him. They were sure to catalog it for future reference. Ah well. What was life without amusing risks? He had been serious about the inspiration thing. It was Loki's own fault for not believing him. Ah well. What could you do? "April First is sorta a tradition in the Americas to try and play a ridiculous joke on someone else," Myrnin explained. "Happens the first day in the month of April. The House takes it to the extremes ... so I hear. Bunch of crazy people blinked in. Or weird ones." He scowled. "I didn't get to blink in. Which was annoying. I think the House might do that next, so hopefully I'll get to see it this time." He considered, then asked, "And you? Do you have any odd holidays or customs?"

Winter Lodge -- Kid, Arlo, and Elliot -- --cato phoenix Auransky
"Yeah, it is," agreed Kid. He raised a finger, pointing skyward. "You know ... I've never really been sure about the sky. I'm always wondering if you go high enough will you hit a roof? Or is this all really an outside? Because there have been a couple times where there is a roof which looks like a sky. And other times I'm not sure." He glanced back at Arlo, as if he expected her to know anything about it. Even if she didn't, he did think it was useful to ask. She might have something to put in. Elliot's comments about a Vilkas caused Kid to question, "Is Vilkas a species or a name?" Never knew. You really never did here, though he'd gotten a few 'are you stupid?' looks from people who didn't know that yet.

Winter Lodge - Kid , Mini Arlo, ELi : mintedstar/fur --cato phoenixElliot couldn't help but look up, from a glance the sky looked like any other sky. Illuminated, covered by clouds with falling white soft paper. On the other hand, questions arose when Kid shared new information to him about this possibility of being a room, as mentioned prior by others. He couldn't help but cross his arms with almost a snicker. "Is that so?" He softly spoke, impressed with the possibility. "Quite the illusion, but to produce something so grand, it certainly must be taking a lot of power from someone, or something." He couldn't help but flinch while recalling a time where a massive number of illusionists sacrificed themselves on an attempt towards his life. He knelt down once more to pick up some snow in his hand. The cold emitting from the snow was enough to numb his hand, yet he threw it in the air as any child would when playing with water. His attention turned towards the two when they asked about Vilkas. He gently placed a hand over his chest with a light bow, "My apologies." He slightly chuckled in embarrassment. "Vilkas are a species, one that many look to with admiration. These large four legged creatures typically carry thick fur coats to battle the cold. Their fur varies in color, usually grey, black, brown; colors that help them hide in woodlands. Harder to find are the snow white Vilkas, for the simple reason that they reside in snowy lands typically blending into their surroundings." He picked up some more snow this time to keep in both of his palms. "They start off small, but given their long lifespan; they grow quite a lot." With ease he tossed the snow in the air, "For a breed that lives for so long they take a long time to grow. Currently my Vilkas stands at six foot ten, and since they live such a long time it is uncertain as to how big they can continue to grow. While they are majestic creatures, they normally keep themselves secluded in the far reaches of the wilderness. For one to not live in the wilderness, it is said that their growth and lifespan can be altered, but studies are slowly being made; given the difficulty of encountering one let alone the chance to obtain one. They migrate in packs, whether it be territories or across worlds. In some worlds, they have disappeared from existence due to human game. Some dragon tribes travel across worlds to find Vilkas in need, then help them relocate." He paused briefly, realizing that he might have said too much and given too little time to process. "They have big paws, and their ears flick always listening to their surroundings." He couldn't help but look slightly up, "When I would take mine to the villages, the children would love to play with her massive paws. They too like to poke her, and at times pull on her ears." He slightly bit his lower lip, "Eventually she would shove all the kids off, there is only so much she can tolerate after all." He was slightly getting distracted. "I hope some of this is making sense. Perhaps there is a word that can relate to what I am trying to say? They are like dogs, but much bigger and reside in the wild." He tried to sum up everything, thinking further about Vilkas, he couldn't help but feel slightly bad for now having a more modern day word to describe them. He paused once again, taking a moment to recompose himself. "Vilkas similar to Koi; are believed to bring good fortune." His expression had softened during the entire time he talked about Vilkas, it was both nostalgic and mesmerizing.

Or was it just some kind of oil that happened to be red? 7S tensed up again as Eises bolted around behind her, now at the ready to dodge away from her if necessary. Faith reappeared on her back in a puff of yellow sparks, teleporting from where it had just been floating through the air a few seconds ago. Instead of aiming straight at her again however, the hybrid blew a stream of...strange fire past her head. It was still too close for comfort though and 7S took a step away, before crossing her arms and holding her chin in thought. "Purple fire, huh? Wonder if it has any unique effects that regular fire doesn't..." After pondering it over for a second, the Android's light blue gaze returned to Eises. "Hmm. In a way, yeah, although there's a bit more to them then that. They can have spikes, but they're also big and bulky, to enhance crushing power." She decided to make a mental note to find a pair to try and bring with her next time she blinked in. 6S probably wouldn't notice if his went missing for a little bit... "O-oh, it's fine! Don't worry about it." 7S replied quickly, waving a dismissive hand. "I just have to fix it quick and it'll be like nothing happened." Now that there wasn't something else flying at her, the S type took the opportunity to apply a quick dose of staunching gel onto the wound and seal it shut. She also debated on doing the same with a Logic Virus vaccine, but held off in the end. A small gash like that would be fine without it, plus it hadn't been exposed for very long.

[[ Lodge || Mini Arlo2 ]] "Yeah... that'd be nice," Arlo replied with a smile. Though she'd accepted it as a fact that a lot of people already knew her, it was still a little strange to think about. "And don't worry," she added, "I'll try not to confuse you too much." She probably didn't have a choice. She'd stories about chaos caused by altering the past. If she was the other Arlo, telling others what she knew about their futures could cause more harm than good. It was another reason she'd been trying not to ask about her 'first' time in the House. The girl's eyes widened slightly at Neb's answer. "Three years? Wow... I'm glad you got to come ba-" She stopped mid-sentence. Some people didn't like the House and would be anything but glad to return after being away from it for three years, but she had a feeling that Neb wasn't one of them. She seemed both happy and sad about her return to the House, but that made sense considering how different it must seem now. "I mean, you were wanting to come back, right?" She asked, just to make sure.

A spiky haired man appeared in the winter lodge, a crimson drink in his hand. He was ready to take a sip of his drink, but paused when he found himself in a cozy little lodge instead of his good ol' shady pub, the Devil's Nest. "Huh. This is new," He commented before rolling his shoulders and raising an eyebrow at the people around. "Aren't you all the colorful little group? "I'm not sure," Arlo said to Kid as she looked up at the 'sky' above them. "I guess the only way to find out would be to fly straight up and see how high you could go, unless the House creates some kind of illusion to keep you from telling." Had anyone ever tried testing it? It would be interesting to know, but she had no way of doing it herself since she couldn't fly. She turned to Elliot again, listening curiously as he launched into a rather long and detailed explanation of Vilkas. She was pretty surprised, he hadn't really said a lot so far, and hadn't seemed too happy with his world when it was brought up, but it was obvious that he really cared for the creatures he was describing. "They sound amazing!" she said when he stopped. Her book was out again and she'd scribbled some notes down on a fresh page. "They can travel between worlds on their own? You mentioned that they can be different colors, what does yours look like?"

[[ Lodge || Mini Arlo2 ]]
Arlo nodded slowly as she listened. Her mind drifted a little from the conversation, returning to the same thing she found herself thinking about almost every day. If she was the same Arlo they'd all known before, what would it be like when she 'started' blinking and everything was different? Her current issue would be completely reversed- the others would all be meeting her for the first time, and she would need to act like she didn't know them. New blinkers came in all the time, some of the people she befriended now might not even be blinking in when she came back. Would she be happy then, coming back and seeing everything, the same but different? It was hard to answer, especially when so much could happen between now and then. The girl blinked a couple of times as she returned her focus to Neb and gave her a sort of sad smile. "Time travel does make things confusing... I am glad I got to meet you though."

Shilo looked between everyone as they talked, not really sure how to jump in and continue talking with them. So, she remained silent and just took in as much information as possible. She looked to Enjolras when it seemed he was doing a similar thing, just gazing around the room as Neb and Arlo kind of sort of caught up. Though when Neb brought up all the things she had missed, Shilo perked. She wanted to hear too. Had she not been able to meet old friends? Did everyone who knew her before think she was dead like Neb? Had she actually died or just stopped blinking? Maybe, just maybe, if she remained really silent, Enjolras would let it all slip.

"Yeah, it does," Neb agreed with a slight laughed. She returned Arlo's smile. "Me too." Her attention returned to Enjolras as he spoke up. That's what Noctin had mentioned too. She thought about what sorts of rooms they'd been to, if any more worlds had happened. Did the House break again like when that rift had occured? There was a lot to wonder and ask, but for now Neb would settle with just adjusting again. She remembered the look Noctin had given her, and with how Enjolras was talking she figured most of the things to be caught up on should wait for a more private and calmer time.
Neb just nodded and followed Enjolras' gaze to a hallway, finding a wave of nostalgia at the action. How long had it been since her last room? She glanced at Shilo who had grown quiet, and then to the other two again. "Well, what better way to kick off my return?" she asked, eyes glinting a bit as she motioned to the hall, beginning to take a few backwards steps towards it. She quickly sidestepped a man who appeared, blinking in slight surprise. Even now and newbies were still showing up, huh. "Paradox House," she uttered, though seemed to taper off at that. What kind of explanation did everyone give these days? Not knowing what things were the same or different, Neb wasn't sure how else to add on.

Greed narrowed his dark eyes at the purple haired girl. Paradox House? They didn't seem like they were affiliated with his old man, nor with the other Homunculi. His attention was granted to a blonde man that spoke, and he rubbed his chin, absorbing the information given to him. Slowly, he raised his glass, drinking its contents. "So. You guys dragged me here? Such a pain in the ass," He sighed. He didn't have time for this, he needed to speak to his possessions about an important matter. "Alright. I'm gonna count to five and I'm expecting one of you to send me back home or else someone is gonna get pummeled." A bloodthirsty smile formed on his lips. "One...two..."
