Well, there were a few unique things Eises could definitely do, but of course all of that involved Calibris. Transforming into a monster or having those tentacles burst from her back didn't sound like something just anyone could do. She definitely wasn't going to transform here though, it's not like she could on command anyway. As if the thought summoned him, Calibris begun to awake. Mornin', sleepy. "Comin' up with a new weapon sounds hard, but I guess you're right. I haven't met any other ice users so I don't really know how unique my fighting style is." Deep down, she knew it wasn't common at all. Especially considering how ice wasn't the only magic she could use. Her low self esteem however would never let her admit that. Missing the blow, Eises' eye widened. What the hell? For a split second, she swore she saw several...copies of Sevens. Her confused look turned into an excited smile. The wolf had to use all her strength to restrain herself from attacking again. Her hands began to twitch at the thought. "I see it now!" She didn't know what that was exactly, but it was really cool. "Is that all? Or can you do more?" Before she could give a reply, 7S' scanners began picking up a sudden influx of energy flowing from Eises. Was this because she was actively engaging a 'foe'? The S type made a note of it, but otherwise she put it on the back burner for now. Well, the wolf admitting that was a step in the right direction at least. "If you'd like, I could do my best to help out with that. If you decide you want to try it that is..." 7S hummed, "I could run through my database and pull up some weapons from my world we could try. I bet the look on your enemies faces would be priceless if you came after them with a pair of giant ice bracers." The Android pursed her lips together jokingly. "I got a few other things I can do, and I'd love to show you! Buuut!" One of her hands flew up and she waved a finger back and forth. "Only if you show me something else you can do!" Who are we fighting? Calibris' voice grumbled into Eises' mind. It's nothing serious, we're just showing some magic Eises silently replied. She didn't need to hear him to feel his annoyed disappointment. He's just going to have to deal with it. "Y-You don't have to! Don't worry about it." The wolf would hate for Sevens to waste her time on her, she didn't want to be a bother to her. Surely she could come up with something herself, the demitheian would just have think for a bit. "What are bracers, by the way?" The wolf couldn't help but grin, that was fine by her. Using the snow, she summoned several chunks of ice that sharpened by themselves. She side stepped and raised her hand, causing all of them to fly at the android at high speeds.

"Yeah, but like, it's Christmas, so I guess the House is going for a theme. We're kinda dressed like Santa's helpers! Maybe we gotta fly the sleigh!" Victoria guessed excitedly. She seemed to have forgotten that Julia wasn't from earth and thus probably didn't know about the Santa Claus story. "Hey, look, there's even the reindeer, too!" "What is a 'Santa'?" Julia asked. From what had happened this blink, it seemed like the mysterious term would be related to 'Christmas'. She looked ahead towards the reindeer and sleigh front. She'd driven before, this didn't seem like it would be much like a car. Whatever ritual this was, hopefully it would be over quickly.

She side stepped and raised her hand, causing all of them to fly at the android at high speeds. More increased magic readings... "I wouldn't mind. It'd be fun." 7S reassured, crossing her arms and shifting her weight from one foot to another. The idea sounded exciting to her. She could come up with some blueprints, then Eises could forge them with her powers. "Bracers are fist weapons!" She began, "Most of the time they're used for close quarters combat, but sometimes you can improvise. Especially if you're not a combat mo-!" The S type's words were cut off as she saw the frozen projectiles coming her way, her hidden eyes widening in suprise. "T-that's not what I meant!" Instantaneously, her main weapon Faith, appeared from behind her to intercept the attack after a quick arm gesture. The blade managed to slice most of the incoming shards out of the air, but one ended up making it past. 7S barely had enough time to move out of the way, which she tried to do, but the shard managed to graze the side of her face. A long piece of black cloth floated to the ground at her feet, revealing an expression that was no longer suprised, but instead completely blank. Slowly, she reached up to touch the cut that had severed her visor, which was on her right temple. Not to her suprise, she felt the warmth of artificial blood seeping through the velvet glove on her hand. After a few seconds, the serious expression she wore melted away into one of mild, albeit playful irritation. "Ah hell... Now I have to explain this when I get home." Her previous reaction had been brought out by the sudden attack. It was hardwired into her personality to become dead serious and level headed when things suddenly went South, no matter how brief.

Noctin watched her check herself, relieved when she decided she wasn't injured. "This place has such rude entrances sometimes," he commented, offering a hand out to help her up. Surprise flashed through him as she said his name, though she looked just as shocked. He blinked, frowning slightly. Did he know her? He studied her, casting around his House memories uncertainly for a moment before realization crashed through him. "Neb?" he gasped. But she had died- her whole world- the others had told him that her world had been devastated and that there was no chance she had made it- "You're alive," he breathed, eyes widening with something between awe and relief.
Hearing Shilo, he flashed a glance over to her. He didn't recognize her, but he offered her a quick smile before turning his attention back to Neb.

Noctin was here, which meant she was-- Nebula Star stood up quickly, stumbling as she hadn't yet recovered from the crash, and did a turn of the room. She was here. It was the exact same. All the memories were flooding back, almost as if she was right back there. "Y-yeah..." she replied distantly to Noctin. She couldn't believe this.
Hearing another voice, Neb spun around, though there was no immediate recognition upon seeing the little girl. She somehow had a familiar air to her, but Neb's thoughts were all mixed up that she couldn't think right from left. "Oh, hello," she said. Her gaze finally drifted back to Noctin, the surprise still clear on her face. She almost thought about slapping herself to see if this was real. She gave a hard swallow. "Everyone else, um...do they think I'm dead?"

"-ank you, Combeferre." Enjolras blinked into the House, cutting off his sentence. He looked around, a soft and genuine smile crossing his face briefly at the sight of the lodge. Yes, the last lodge had been a bad experience, but it was comforting, in a way, to know that the House had it's parameters for normal continuing on.
He blinked his blue eyes in surprise as he saw some of the older members- Noctin, Shilo. (He supposed she counted as old in a way.) And then his mild surprise turned into a true gasp of shock as he saw a familiar lavender figure seated on the floor of the lodge. Memories came back to him- ones with him and Shilo and the purple hero in them- a tearful goodbye- the hero's card- the promise to remember. It had been one of the defining moments that shaped his view of the House. And he'd remembered her, as promised. After a few moments, he found his voice- though with more emotion than he usually showed- incredulous, yet with a touch of hope. Shilo had come back, hadn't she?
"Neb?"

Noctin's gaze dropped, suddenly unable to look at Neb. He was really the one who had to tell her? Couldn't it be somebody else? "Yes," he said quietly, fingers going to his daggers. "Ah- Neb... a lot has changed since you last blinked in." A lot of old blinkers were gone. Those from their time rarely blinked in now, if they did at all, with only a few exceptions. And then of course there was just the sheer scale of everything that had happened.
Hearing Enjolras, relief flooded Noctin. There, Enjolras was an adult, he had known Neb better (probably). He was the one who could tell Neb about everyone they'd lost along the way. Catching sight of Chamomile, Noctin began to drift over to her, but not before smiling at Neb, ignoring the faint burning in his eyes. "I'm glad you're back Neb," he said. He didn't quite know what Shilo meant by implying that she too was an old blinker, but he settled for quietly listening from the comfort of Chamomile's side.

Neb's heart sank, but she couldn't say she was surprised. The building and portal had collapsed right at the end, and she and her mother and just barely made it through. Neb worried if everyone else had managed to get back to the house safe because of it. "I can't blame them. I mean, that sure was a hell of a way for me to leave, huh." This was still all hard to take in. Was she really back? Neb blinked slowly as Noctin struggled with his words. Of course things would have changed since she was gone, unless all of the blinkers' time collectively moved by like one day in those three years. But...the way he said it. "Wait--"
Noctin had already moved away, over to...what was that a dragon? "Huh? Like you?" Neb grew confused by the girl, but as Noctin had walked on the view of Enjolras became clear. She froze in place, lips parting in even more shock. She hadn't felt it before, but suddenly tears were pricking at the corners of her eyes. "Enj!" Neb ran forward. She felt like a young teen again, whisked back in time before all of the chaos. She didn't even think twice about it as she threw her arms around Enjolras in a hug, a few tears slipping down her face.

"Yeah! I'd like to see it at least once before it changes back," said Arlo, glancing back at the other blinker from where she stood by the window. She waited for the other two to go out, then followed them, pulling the door closed behind her. The light coating of snow on the ground crunched under her boots as she took a few steps away from the lodge. It was pretty cold, but not too bad and she'd always enjoyed winter. "I guess this is all part of the House?" She mused as she walked a little past the others and looked around. It reminded her of a Christmas card she'd seen.
She glanced at Elliot when he started talking about winter activities in his world. "Vilkas?" she asked curiously.

"So, he brings in your 'Christmas'?" Julia assumed. The idea was rather bizarre, but a picture could form in her head. Just then, the reindeer leaped into flight and the sleigh moved along with them. Torn out of her thought, she let out a startled gasp. It felt just as odd, if not more strange than what she had imagined. Whether it was something related to the sleigh, the reindeer, or both, the technology behind it must have been highly sophisticated. "Your home is more advanced than mine," the woman commented, taking another quick glance at the mechanical wolf as she spoke. Now to think of it, she hadn't questioned the technology of the House before. From her experiences thus far, it seemed even more complex than what Victoria had shared of 'Earth'.

"Yeah, kinda! One aspect of it- I mean, Christmas is more like, the getting together and everything, but you see pictures of him lots of places and he's in lots of movies." Victoria had answered before the sleigh had started plummeting. ~*~*~ "Oh, this part is just, like, magic. But I mean, it might be. They've got wifi, and cars, and trains, and cellphones and stuff. But some stuff is just... how it is. Like me." The part-mechanical wolf once again forgot to add explanation to her sentences. "Wow! Can you believe this! It's wild! I wonder where we are."

Noctin ducked away, not proud of it, but far more driven to not be the one to be the bearer of such horrible news. Seeing Neb immediately rush to hug Enjolras, however, eased a bit of the guilt. Turning his attention fully to Cham, he was a little surprised how she reacted to seeing him. The last time they had seen each other was... ah. The fight with Nico. He believed he had blinked out, just as he'd been mortally wounded. It probably had looked like he had died, hadn't it?
"I'm alright," he said quietly, stretching up on his toes to lightly touch his forehead to hers. "I'm sorry I scared you." Worry shone in his eyes as he looked up at her. "What about you? Did you get out alright?" He hoped so. Nico had been so angry, he didn't want to imagine the damage the other boy could have done in his rage.

This was real. The warmth of the hug, the sound of his heartbeat and voice, all of it seemed to ground Neb. The House had brought her back.
When Enjolras pulled away from the hug, Neb rapidly blinked her eyes to rid them of the lingering tears. "Yeah, I...I wasn't too sure if you all had gotten out okay either. Everything just fell apart..." She managed a smile at last, the fondness she'd held for the French man showing in her eyes. "I'm so happy to see you. I've missed you - everyone- so much."
She had composed herself a little more by now, the initial shock just beginning to subside as everything settled in. She heard the little girl's voice again and glanced down, feeling a bit bad now after having rushed past her. And then her breath caught in her throat. "Shi--" Neb's gaze darted between the girl and Enjolras, as if trying to confirm with him if this girl was really who she said she was. "We...yeah, uh, we were friends. Really, really good friends. I..." Neb placed a hand to her head as she tried to take this in. Shilo was here, but...why was she just a little kid? She had hoped to see her again, tell her she was alive and well, but this wasn't how she had ever pictured that dream happening.

Rich's Eddie
"Tell me about it..." Eddie mumbled in agree as his freed hands tucked themselves in the pockets of his pants. Such motion wasn't useful for the other blinker seemed like he had ants in his pants or maybe the IRS was on his tail, you'd never know in the house. The man himself seemed bubbly enough they'd have some common ground in this top notch fever dream shared by many but known of by few. "I've come here for about, uh..." He glanced away from Rich for a second as the subject of free coffee had unceremoniously wormed its way into the conversation. "Blinking in for six months - lost count some time ago." The reporter bit the corner of his lip watching the man take a sip of the caffeinated drink, offering a crooked smile of his own. "That coffee could be poisoned, y'know? But as you said it yourself, just some dream, right?" He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly revealing a small chunk of his tattooed chest, quickly shaking his numb right hand before offering it to the hacker. "Casual stuff aside, Eddie Brock, reporter and all that jazz. Who do I have to the honor of meeting?"

"A celebrity of sorts, then." With something like this, Julia wasn't shocked to hear that this 'Santa' was famous. At the mention of magic, her lips curved downwards in the beginning of a frown. "I've never believed in magic. I've heard a few rumors about secret organizations and vendors who work with it, but I've never had proof." She wasn't exactly catching onto the wolf's excitement or at least for the time being, but it still encouraged her to gaze towards the side and look down. Julia's mouth dropped open as she took in what was below - a town dusted in a coating of snow. Some areas were decorated with lights much similar to the ones in the lodge. Viewing the scene from the air made her a bit dizzy, but it was actually quite pretty.

Enjolras felt a lump in his throat upon seeing the tears that glistened in Neb's eyes, and he offered her a genuine smile. He really, truly, hadn't expected to see her again.
"So much has happened." Enjolras offered at the searching look Neb had tossed him. Where to start? It had been over a year since he'd last seen the hero, and what felt like more time than that in the House. The people that had shared those moments were few and far between now. It had almost been a different era of the House. "The House took us all away safely." He assured her, though something flickered in his eyes when he said all. "But you've been gone for a long time. There's people who don't blink in any more- some we've no idea what happened to them. Others have... returned, in a sense."
"Shilo Saga." Enjolras continued, as way of introduction and confirmation. He nodded once at the child, both assuring her about her question and indicating her to Neb. There was so much to explain, but he couldn't fault the young assassin for asking.

Neb listened to Enjolras, her lips forming a tight line as he mentioned other blinkers. She wondered, out of everyone she had known, who was still here. Her eyes fell back onto Shilo at this thought. Was this better than never seeing her again? Or learning she had died? It was...strange. She was definitely Shilo, but there was a rather large piece of Neb that was aching for the one she'd left behind. She made a sound in the back of her throat, somewhere between a laugh and a hum. "That's the way the House goes, then. Nothing's changed with that." There was the slightest hint of bitterness in her tone. In her time away, perhaps nostalgia and longing had made Neb overlook the darker parts of the House, but returning now and seeing everything reminded her of that love/hate feeling she'd had towards it.
"It's nice to meet you again, too, Shilo," Neb said, managing to offer a small smile. The child's words seemed to strike her heart and she had to fight back a wave of emotion. Neb knelt down to be at level with Shilo. "That's okay. This isn't something you could control. But...thank you. I've missed her - you - a lot. I'm glad you're still here." Neb's chest felt tight when Shilo invited her in for a hug. She hesitated before reaching out to accept, the moment her arms were around the girl she squeezed a little too tight and bit her lip. "Thank you," she whispered.

Shilo smiled happily when Neb introduced herself to her--again. Her teal gaze followed her down to the smaller girl's level, her innocent eyes lacking the hard edge that her older self had. Though, there was still that glint of wisdom, that glint of determination. At the hug, Shilo's breath caught when she was hugged just a bit too tightly, but she wrapped her small arms around Neb, glad for the physical affection. So glad in fact, that tears had started to pool in her eyes. Shilo didn't understand why, but they did. The touch starved child clung to Neb, taking in the feeling of the hug, the older girl's scent. Things that she hadn't realized she had missed so much. Just...being shown affection. When Shilo pulled away, there was a small stream of tears, but she was smiling wide.
