Jax gave a nod, glad he helped her view point a bit. Maybe that would make the world a little bit more bearable. When she stood, Jax merely watched, turning his attention back to the window for a bit. "Huh? Oh, yeah sure. Why not." He pushed himself up. "Lead the way, kid." He extended a hand out in front of him to show that he actually meant it. Sure, he'd walk by her side, but she was in charge. "So, you mentioned Lee. Who's he, exactly?" He was curious, of course.

Clem grinned when Jax gave her the lead, and she happily skipped forward, looking for the best place to start. She spotted the stairs and began the way there. Catching one of the windows again, she wondered if there might be winter coats and boots somewhere. Jax had seemed interested in going outside, and Clem really hoped for a chance to get to the snow as well.
"Oh, Lee found me when everything began," she said. "I was hiding in my tree house because my babysitter had become a walker in the house. But Lee went inside and got attacked so I had to save him." She remembered the event and the fear in that moment and quickly moved along. "It wasn't safe to stay, so Lee brought me along with me him. We're with other people now, but he takes care of me." Clem smiled slightly. "He's really nice, you'd like him."

"You just haven't noticed," Nore dismissed, wagging her hand at him and drawing her head back smugly. "I'm like a ninja," she told him and struck a pose where her hand turned into a fist and pointed toward him. His logic was winning the conversation though and she stuttered for words for a moment when confronted with having to give up her plans. "Uh... Everything's more fun when it's a secret. I'll tell you later." She reached around toward the table again until she found the hot chocolate, using her palm to feel the steam. Displaying her progress in her fine motor skills, she lifted the kettle and poured it confidently. "I always wondered if stuff you eat here stays in your stomach when you go back to your world..." she brought up. "I doubt you are even accurately aware of what ninjas are like outside of movies," Myrnin said, not unkindly. He was smirking, seeming amused at the show. He tapped a finger against the arm rest, wagging the finger of his other hand. "Come on Nore ... you're killing me. Figuratively speaking, at any rate. Do you really want to leave several blinks without telling me? What if one of us stops blinking in for a couple years? Didn't you do that in the invisible-paint room one? Then you wouldn't even remember what you were going to tell me." Her random subject about food did catch Myrnin's attention this time, however. He seemed mildly interested. "Hum? Wouldn't that be easy enough to test? If you blink back hungry, it did not blink back with you." It boded the rather distasteful question of where it went if it didn't blink out with you.

Winter Lodge - Arlo, Kid & Eli : mintedstar/fur --cato phoenixAt the suggestion of going outside, he couldn't help but turn his head in the direction of the door. He next leaned a bit to see the window from where he stood. The snow falling seemed very innocent, it was a feeling he adored as a kid. "I have not been outside." He softly replied. "Yet, I wouldn't going outside for a bit. It seems very nice." He couldn't help but admit. His head now turned to Arlo for a response, while he started walking towards the window. Despite the warm room, approaching the window he couldn't help but feel the cold emitting through the window. Placing his hands lightly on the ledge, he could feel the cold which was the outside, but he also knew that this was only a portion of the cold making it past the window. Still, seeing the snowflakes fall in a time outside of war was always a welcoming sight.

"Sure!" Arlo replied eagerly, looking toward the door. "Victoria and some of the others went sledding earlier." As her gaze landed of the window and swept over the snowy landscape, she couldn't help but wonder how many times another Arlo had stood there, looking out at the same scene, or maybe one a bit different. Again she told herself not to ask about the other Arlo. She liked the House, but she had a bad feeling about whatever had happened before. It had been a nice day so far... she didn't want to ruin that now, did she? She nodded at Elliot's comment as she walked over, returning her focus to the present. "Yeah it does. I almost went out with the others earlier, but I started telling a newbie about the House and blinked out again."

Victoria blinked into the House, appearing in a crouched position and looking up at the ceiling. She sprang upwards right as she blinked, the gears in her back legs clicking rapidly as they launched her upwards. Had she been in the regular living room, there would have been a problem, but seeing as she was in the high ceilinged lodge, she simply leapt about eleven feet before falling back down with a surprised yelp, scrambling to land in a good position. She landed with an Oof!, popping back to her feet quickly. "Bad timing, House! I gotta get up to that bridge!"

Julia blinked into the lodge, a notebook and pencil in one hand. A rather cheerful expression was spread across her face. "It seems to-" she cut off what she had been about to say as she noticed where she was, smile disappearing. Here she was again, in the Paradox House. She was pretty sure that was the name for it, at least. Now to think of it, hadn't she been in this room before? A few weeks had passed since her last blink, but this room was too familiar. Just then, she heard someone's voice. Turning around, she noticed a wolf - at least, it looked to be a wolf. The mysterious creature had machine parts. Nobody else was in the area, so the animal was most likely who spoke. Possibly it had been programmed with the ability to speak? Julia thought, assuming that she was possibly a robot. "Hello," the woman responded. Humanoid or not, talking to blinkers still felt strange.

"I'm Julia," the woman responded. She had to admit, the way the mechanical animal had jumped and landed was impressive. Of all the animals that lived in her 'garden', which was almost a mini forest, none could do something like that. The science that must have gone into such a thing was beyond that of what she had studied, but then again she was a doctor.

"Oh, cool! That's a nice name." Victoria barked. She looked around the festive area, saying, "It's past Christmas in my world, but the House doesn't always follow everyone's timelines and stuff, which makes sense, I guess, since it's like, outside time. Hey, have you been in the lodge before? Or are you like, newish to the House? 'Cause I dunno if you're a newbie but it kinda seems like you already know a lil bit, but y'never know, do ya?"

Loki blinked into the lodge, appearing next to the pine tree again. Only now, it was slightly more decorated. Something that kid had said about a holiday celebration. They found it interesting how traditions held on, how they combined and turned into something new- evergreens during the winter months were an old Norse tradition, one they were familiar with. They delicately removed an orange bulb, turning the delicate glass ornament over in their hands. "Oh yes," Myrnin said sarcastically as he blinked in. "Because convincing Amelie to go to New Yo-orrrrrrrrrrr the House could interrupt me. That's fine." He looked around the lodge, unimpressed. "We're still only in September, House. Try again at a later date." He recognized Loki before he even had to turn around to see them. Did magic have a smell? The vampire wasn't sure, but there was a sharp ... and here it was like an exclamation point in his head, because there was no word for what he was looking for ... and he couldn't place what the smell meant. Then there was the smell of iron, and other metals and lighter undertones of what Myrnin would describe as ... peppermint? No, not exactly right, but there was a lighter tone of something he was only familiar with from Loki. That visual trip aside, the vampire turned and grinned at the Norse deity. "Hey! How's it going?"

“OH my god,” yelped Rich, jumping about a foot in the air and spinning rapidly around as somebody spoke from directly behind him. “Good lord, would it kill this place to announce it to us before it does that? I dunno, it wouldn’t be that hard. Maybe a little ping, like when you’re not wearing your seatbelt, or...” He took a breath, finally actually looking over the scraggly, and, might he say, exceptionally handsome man the House had just thrown at him. He stared for a second, then put on a sideways smile, quickly slipping back into his usual extroversion now that he had had a second to regroup. “Yeah, I’ve only been here like, ehhh...two or three times, and that’s assuming ‘here’ isn’t some kinda weird fever dream which really isn’t an assumption I’ve been quite willing to commit to considering the uh, completely impossible properties of this place. What about you, how long have you been...what’s the lingo...’blinking’ in here - oh my god, they have coffee. Hold that thought.” And with that, he skidded to the side, crossing the small space between them and the coffee in a few quick skips. Then he turned around, taking a sip and sighing contentedly. “Okay, okay, sorry about that, please continue. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity...I mean, food in a lucid dream = free calories, right?”

Her sunglasses kept her expression a little mysterious. "Hmm... your memory is good. Too good. It's like you're tracking me or something," she muttered, even though that was something an ordinary person could surely remember. Maybe she was the one who was unordinary. "Well how about you write down what I'm telling you, huh? Plus if that much time passes it's not my problem. I probably won't even remember the performance because I'll be doing so many even better ones." His next statement made her jaw drop slightly, and it almost made it look like she was getting ready to take a drink of the hot chocolate. "But... I'm always hungry. Aren't you?" An... interesting question to ask a vampire.

That only just confused Eises even further. What did she mean by magic not being created yet? How does one...create it if it didn't already exist before? She didn't ask further though, whatever it was, it was something too much for her to understand anyway. The wolf's face went completely red; what's a lady this pretty doing calling her special? "Y-You're a little mistaken, there aren't even any humans in my world." So that was yet another world where Theians - or humans rather - that lacked animal parts. It'd be nice to meet someone where this stuff is normal, like in Theia. Although meeting a robot capable of thought and speech was already nice as it was. "I-I-Is that so?" There weren't any Gods from any religions she knew that had a similar name, they all had really elaborate names. Moreso than what dragons have, which is really saying something. "My friends just call me that since I'm an ice elemental." 7S couldn't resist a giggle as the hybrid's face went red like an apple. "So? My point still stands." This was reminding her of when she would slip the occasional complement into her conversations with 6S. His reaction was pretty much the same, although he was a bit worse at hiding his embarrassment. "Ice elemental?" The Android mused as she took another look at the open door frame. "I guess that explains your love of snow..." She was referring to the way the other blinker had placed her face into it earlier. If she had ever been asked to visualize what a magical creature of ice would look like, Eises wasn't exactly what 7S would have imagined. If anything, the first comparison that popped into her mind was a werewolf. Could the other woman change into a full wolf as well?

"Thanks," Julia stated. It felt sort of strange to be complimented for her name as it was something that had never happened before. She hadn't considered names as something to comment on. The woman's eyebrows raised as Victoria brought up an unfamiliar term. "I've never heard of Christmas. This is the second time I've been in this room, with the other time being a few weeks ago."

"Erm...i-if you say so..." Only one other person had called Eises special, and it was almost too much to hear this from yet another person. They'd only just met, how could she be any special to the Android? Sure given by what the android said about her 7own world, 7S didn't run into humans much, but there were blinkers much better than Eises. Maybe if they keep meeting, 7S would eventually see that the wolf really is just a nobody.
"Yeah, I can summon ice. Like this." She took a few steps back and in just a second she summoned a long ice sword. "It's genuine too, could cut down people with this." And some robots too, but the demitheian decided not to speak that part. She did wonder if it could do anything against the Android, she wasn't sure what the latter was made of after all. It was likely she was made of different...metal? Material? Than the robots in Theia.
"What about you? Other than the screen-thingy, what other magic can you do?"

Lodge -- Mini Arlo -- --cato phoenix Auransky"Well," said Kid, turning in that direction. "I guess we better go out before there is any interruptions." He walked toward the door, hand reaching out. He pulled it open, expecting some snow to come in. But it really was only a light snow on the other side of the door. He looked out at the white landscape, the chill fighting its way into the lodge. It looked nice. He glanced back in Arlo's and Elliot's direction. "Last one out closes the door." And so he stepped out, snow crunching under his feet. It looked pretty peaceful out there, though the sky was heavy with snow-clouds. He glanced around, whistling a bit. "Wow. I wonder how long you can walk." Had anyone ever gotten lost out here? "Sledding sounds fun, but I'm sure there are other options," he mused. They did seem to be on a slope. "What Winter activities do you like?" he asked Elliot.

Julia nodded. If 'Earth' holidays were any similar to ones in her world, then that explained he festival lights. She sometimes came to the dleki city's celebrations, but she wasn't as into the festivities as some other people. "I come from Efwllis," she responded. "So, what do you do for the holiday?" She assumed that celebrating was probably the solution to this room. Of course, she remembered some of the events of past blinks in which none of her ideas had worked. However, she'd blinked out before anything could really be solved.

Vanessa bolted for the tree, since at least she could get higher than the reindeer. Here was why she didn't like going into a place without having a whole lot more back-up than a wildclaw could offer. She didn't dare look back. If she tripped, she'd be trampled at best. Instead, the blix ran right at the tree and jumped, her hands reaching out to grab onto the nearest branch. Doing this, you always trusted the branch would be sturdy enough to hold the weight of a grown human - at least for long enough to get higher up the trunk. But instead, the branch splintered under Vanessa' hand and she cried out, tumbling backwards and landing hard. Her shoulder was cushioned by a bit of snow and dead grass, but she banged her head on a tree root. The world spun dangerously for a second, even as she scrambled back to her feet, swaying. (Salsa to the rescue?) (Cue salsa being salsa.) Her prized goal stood in front of her on a silver platter simply standing there waiting to be taken. It's beady little eyes solidified its grasp on the bounty hunter as did the mother whose attentive stare bore down on her. She held her own gaze yet her concentration on the duo's ticket out the room snapped literally as the narcoblix ill fall could be heard from the now shaken clearing. Instinctively she would have snapped at the remaining deer to spook them but keeping her partner on her feet alive was ideal. The wildclaw threw the gnarled net on top of the mother in a rush, sweeping her off the ground the process as the fawn fell to the mother's side as a result. As that occured, Salsa made a beeline towards Vanesa or where she had thought the other injury prone, her movement became similar to that of the reindeer themselves, oblivious but frightened. This wasn't looking too good... "I'm coming!" (Salsa being Salsa is just what we're looking for.) Vanessa had to move or the deer would get her. Which was not a sentence she thought she would ever be using. The blix darted around the trunk of the tree, which bought her a couple of seconds. She was aware of the reindeer which Salsa had just thrown a net over, though she wasn't sure why that was. Instead, she found herself cornered by ... a lot of animals. The look in their eyes were not friendly, she noted. The woman didn't dare look up and risk taking her eyes off them as they ... slowly ... moved ... forward. She never thought reindeer could stalk anything, but now she was proven wrong. "Yesssss," she said through her teeth, not liking she that she had to ask for help. "Help would be nice."

Other than the screen-thingy, what other magic can you do?" 7S was starting to pick up some of the small details about Eises the longer they spoke, although she kept this to herself of course. There was a lack of self-confidence for one, which was most apparent when the other would stumble in her speech every so often, even when she wasn't embarrassed. Was this just a part of her personality? Or was there another reason for it... Contrary to what Eises was expecting to happen with future blinks, 7S only wished to get to know her more, perhaps help fix that. There were no 'nobodies' in her mind. Everyone had something interesting about them that made them 'unique'. And that was only enforced when the wolf began showing off her abilities. "Wow!" Face lighting up like the room around them, 7S gently reached over to run a finger alongside the ice blade's edge, scanning it as she did so. To see something as malleable as water turned into such a weapon that wasn't a laser jet was a sight indeed. "See? I have yet to see anyone else who could do that here. That's pretty unique." There was another complement. 'What other magic could she do?' Withdrawing her hand, the S type began backing up and stopped a few feet away. "Hit me." She said simply, holding her arms out. "Don't worry, you won't hurt me." Might as do a bit of showing off herself this time, eh?

"W-Well, that's not so unique in Theia I don't think. I'm sure other ice users can do the same." Eises wasn't entirely sure, she's never met with another ice user before. However, she was sure it was something any of them can do. Making chunks of ice was pretty easy, it just took a little practice to actually form those chunks into other things.
Her ears flattened, hit her? "Erm, are you sure?" Now the wolf had really wondered how similar Sevens was to the robots in Theia. She could easily tear them apart...well most of them, but about this android in particular? She didn't want to hurt her, she had no reason to after all. Well, she did say it wouldn't hurt her...
Eises turned the blade into a blunter object, vastly reducing its sharpness and length. Now holding it with both hands, she launched herself towards the android in a flash, swinging quickly towards her torso.

His memory wasn't always that good. But it seemed like his convincing skills had ended here. He let it go. He supposed he'd have to wait and see and hope she still remembered to tell him what she had been doing. Her following question about being hungry caused Myrnin to go very silent for a heartbeat. Then he said, "Yes I am. Always. It is probably comparable to you living in a bakery, constantly being surrounded by your preferred food ... and it's always freshly made." He reached across Nore's lap, grabbing one of the cookies and brought it back, spinning it between his fingers as he considered it. Then he ate it, though his expression didn't shift, so maybe he wasn't impressed. Around the cookie - though he easily manged to make the movement more polite than Nore - he said, "Does it not unnerve you? Being friends with a vampire?"

Loki assessed the vampire as he blinked in, interested by his composure at blinking in, quickly switching topics and greeting Loki with little hesitation. They wondered if he had some sort of hyperawareness of his surroundings. If so, Myrnin was someone they wanted to explore rooms with. Honestly, after the whole flamethrower thing, both Myrnin and Hange were people they wanted to explore the House with.
"Well." Loki answered neutrally, turning the red glass ornament over in their hands. They held it up, the fake firelight glinting on its surface and reflecting some of the room. They looked at it, then flicked their gaze to the festive surroundings."The House decided to redecorate?"

Eises turned the blade into a blunter object, vastly reducing its sharpness and length. Now holding it with both hands, she launched herself towards the android in a flash, swinging quickly towards her torso. "Well, if that's so, why don't you try to come up with and learn to make something that none of them could ever do?" 7S suggested, "Like... A weapon they've never heard of. Something from here, another world, maybe." She wasn't going to let up on the wolf until she admitted there was something unique about herself. 'Was she sure?' This was the kind of stuff she was always berating 6S about after all, needlessly putting oneself in harm's way. Unlike those situations though, this was properly planned out. "Of course I'm sure. If I mess it up, I'll never hear the end of it if I went home covered in scratches and bruises. And that's not happening." The easiest way to avoid that was to just not do this of course, but where was the fun in that? The instant Eises flew forward, 7S was ready. As soon as the weapon was mere inches away from contact, the S type's body suddenly split into four holographic copies of itself and she danced out of the way as the ice passed right through her. "See?" She hummed as she reformed a few feet away, absolutely none the worse for wear. "Sometimes it's easier to show instead of tell. If I were to describe every detail on how I can do that, we'd be here for the next twenty years."
